Updates of Tor's Backloggery enhancements will no longer be posted here.

This blog and its RSS feed will shut down; but development of the script is not ending. In fact; an update was recently published for the first time in some years. The recent update fixes a few broken icons.

From now on; please get the updates directly from the same source where you got the script: Greasy Fork, Chrome web store, or GitHub.

Hi all, thanks for using my Backloggery browser script.

The userscripts.org site is down at the moment. Although it is still up at an alternate URL, http://userscripts.org:8080, the userscripts.org site has long been neglected. It has spam problems as well as the occasional technical glitch, so given the latest issues I think it's time to jump ship. Tor's Backloggery enhancements has now moved.

For Chrome users, this is great news. I have now repackaged the code as a Chrome extension, so now you can simply grab the new extension in the Chrome Web Store.

The extension is much easier to install, and it will auto-update from the store. Don't forget to uninstall the old userscript-based version from Chrome's extension manager.

If you use Firefox or other browsers you can get the old school script from greasyfork.org.

The update notifications in the greasyfork version don't work at the moment because that functionality depended on the userscripts.org site. I'll rewrite that functionality eventually, but in the meantime please subscribe to this newsfeed or check back periodically for updates.

I still need to rewrite the description and instructions, and add some screenshots and stuff, so these two sites are a bit minimal at the moment. But I'll add more content soon.

Fixed icons in Now Playing list after site update. Added icons to Multitap on the front page (icon support on the Multitap page, will be added later). Created update checking feature for Chrome and Firefox which will notify about script updates.

Note: Chrome users please check that you are running Chrome version 13 or newer before installing the latest version of the script. (Wrench menu -> About Google Chrome) If you are not on the latest version, the act of opening the About dialog should trigger the update (on Windows).

As you have seen, the Backloggery enhancements script stopped working when the site remake launched. I had known since the site remake was announced that the script would have to be remade as well, and that work has now started.

The script rewrite will be incremental. I will work to bring the most basic functionality up and running as quickly as possible, and then the more complicated stuff will come later. I will eventually restore all the previous functionality of course.
