This is clearly not a lotion, so I don't know why it's labeled as such. It's a toner, but since you can see into the bottle (at least if you're working with a sample size like I was), you'll be able to tell there's a liquid inside and that if you were hoping for a lotion you can put this back on the shelf. I really have no words to describe this product. Not because it's that good, but because it did nothing for me. Okay, I guess if I had to rack my brain for SOMETHING memorable about it, I'd say that there was some toner that had collected itself at the top of the bottle and solidified into a crusty film. That was interesting. Oh, and the packaging is kind of pretty. The end.

I'm14 and have been using proactiv for about 2 years. It keeps my skin "under control",but my face and back still break out. However , I don't think im using it properly. To get the maximum results you have to use all three steps, twice a day, every day, and sometimes that can be hard to maintain. But I think its worth a try.

I use Proactiv and its worked fairly well for me. I'm reluctant to go to prescription since I've seen what its done to my girlfriend's complexions (digusting, flaky skin). I've talked to a lot of people about their experiences with it, and it seems to vary from bad to great. My verdict is it varies from person to person. I agree with the other breakout-after-you-stop comments, but that seems to be the case with me after I stop any skin care line (Neutrogena, Murad, Peter Thomas Roth, Shiseido, Astara, the list goes on and on). I've read it takes two weeks for your skin to get used to a particular product.
