Ok, it's been a while since I said anything and I've been super busy. So, let me tell you about what's been going on....

1. I've been in Arkansas since October 1st so I can get qualified for my Army job. I'm hoping to pick up E-5 in the spring at the latest.

2. I've been trying a bunch of new products so I've got lots to talk about.

3. I stopped taking some medication since it was giving me some absolutely crazy side effects.

So, to sum up. I've been a very busy girl trying to get back on track. I'm headed home next Friday. So, keep an eye on your email there is more to come in the near future.

Have you ever wondered how to get rid of dry and peeling lips with out spending alot of money?? Well, I have answer for you. Alba un-un-petroleum jelly . I use it for just about everything. It's all natural. So, How do you use this wonderful stuff? It's simple.. Just put it on your lips like lip balm. I put it in a little pot. You can get these little pots at Sephora or their website www.sephora.com (by the way you could get yours for free if you win my birthday give away contest)... Besides using this awesome un-petroleum jelly any time to stop them from chapping, I also use it after washing and exfoliating my face. To quote Kandee Johnson "It locks in the moisturizer all night long" She swears by it and so do I. Oh, the very inexpensive way to exfoliate those very gentle lips of yours is to use your old tooth brush. Now, the dentist always says to use a soft tooth brush. With that said if you don't use a soft tooth brush then go get one and use that to exfoliate your lips. Any harder and you'll tare up your beautiful lips or at the minimum make them sore.

Let me tell you what's in Un-petroleuom jelly...Caster seed oil, coconut oil, beeswax, hydrogenated castor oil, tocopheryl acetate (Vitamin E acetate), and Vitamin E. As you can see it's all natural... I've learned the less you use chemical based products the better your skin looks.

Now, I bet you are wondering where you can get this wonderful multi-purpose moisturizer? I get it at whole foods. Here's a link to whole foods to see if there is one in your local area. http://www.wholefoodsmarket.com/ There is a zipcode look up on the very first page. If you live in an area with out a whole foods near you then amazon.com is a perfect solution. They sell it for about the same price as whole foods. The 3.5 oz tube seems to last forever.

So, while we're talking about natural products and skin... Let me tell you about a BIG problem I've experienced since leaving Florida. Hard water... Can you believe I'm alergic to hard water? I'm serious too. When I get out of the shower I'm itchy all over. If I'm in Las Vegas I litterally get hives for a good hour afterward. So, I've looked into how to minimize if not solve this problem all together... I've found the answer!!! Everyday Shea.... They have a body wash, lotion, shampoo, and conditioner. It comes in 950ml bottles with a very convenient pump top. Whole foods sells it for $10 I think. They also have a website http://www.everydayshea.com and on a side note all their products are certified fair trade. Go to their site to get more details as well as flavors. I prefer the unscented so it doesn't conflict with my perfume or impact my allergies either. The lotion also comes in unscented. The shampoo and conditioner only comes in Lavender and Vanilla. So, I'm hoping in time they will make an unscented version.

I was looking back through all my old blog posts...and found this one that I posted exactly one year ago to the day...
it's funny how in this year, so much has happened it kinda feels like 5 years ago. I want you to know that when all hope is gone, when you feel like your dreams are over....that's usually when gears are turning for your dreams but you just can't see them.

It's like turning your car on...you're in the car, you can't see the pistons firing and all the stuff turning and getting ready to make the car go...but you know you are going to go somewhere...even if you aren't MOVING YET!!!!

You may be in your car thinking...."oh man!!! I'm not even going anywhere. We're not even moving...we're never gonna be able to go anywhere like this. What if we never leave the driveway?!? oh maaaaaan!"

Yes you will!

Just like when you're sitting there, you can't see all the parts of the motor preparing you to move on out....but you know they will!

Sit back in the comfy seat of life, no matter what your car looks like, what your driveway or garage looks like...and know that gears are getting ready...turn the engine of your hope on...and believe that your "car" is gonna go somewhere!

It's been a few weeks since I've posted anything. So, I wanted to give you an update on what I have in stored for you in the next few months... The camcorder is on it's way. YAY!!! I can't wait for it to get here. So, that means video tutorials are going to be here faster than you know it... The Dinair Airbrush Kit is also on it's way... MAC Face

Hi Everyone,

I found this face online. It's what you get when you have MAC artist do your makeup at thier counter. I like to use this to and prismacolor pencils and the clear blender pen to try out a look befor I start using the makeup. You might ask why would you do that. Well, You can only put on and take off so much make up before you start to irritate your skin while developing a look. Most people don't have make up models readily available to continue to practice. This method gives you an idea of what colors to use and what the end result should look like so you can retain an image of your original vision for the look. I'm in the process of creating a few looks once I get them done I'll scan and post them so you can get a better idea of what I'm talking about.

So, once I get my camera I'll be vblogging the following toppics. Make up sealer and eyeliner sealer comparison between cinema secrets, Urban Decay, Make Up Forever, Model in a Bottle, and Krolan. As we all know just because the product costs alot doesn't mean it works the best. The clarisonic tutorial will also be on the list. The best eye primers and what to use as an alternative. The look of the day will be ariving soon as well as accessories that can be worn with just about everything. Oh, Befor I forget, Nail art and how to make my favorite duo colors... Last but not least I'll be taping some looks I've been developing..

Remember, When life gets really tough sometimes putting on a little makeup makes you feel better and ready to face the world.

Vblogging with laptop web cam is soo frustrating

Ok, I've tried several times tonight to tape the Clarisonic demo and so far it's been a big mess!!! I can't wait to buy a video camera... If any one has any recommendations on a good one to buy please let me know.. As always, I will be doing lots of research to find out which gives me the most bang for my buck but your suggestions are still much appreciated... Don't forget to tell me what you'd like to see as far as videos go.. I have a few demo's and a few tutorials planned but I like to find out what you like to see also... Cross your fingers... If my F250 sells I'll be able to get the dinair and give a demo of that as well as a comparison of liquid foundation vs airbrushed foundation... If your in the Army and need some gear keep and eye on this blog for when I post some of my personally purchased gear on ebay... If you are petite and you want it let me know. It's the 4th of July...

Hey Every one...

So, how many people do you know that would rather spend their 4th in their house researching schools, developing a look for my best friend's wedding, and developing a new one for a vblog on my youtube channel...

Here's some thoughts to share... Have you ever tried product after product to only find out that the didn't have the result you were looking for... I have... That's how I started my makeup collection.. So, if there is something specific you want to try send me an email and once I get it I will VBlog it on youtube so you can see if it's worth buying... I am trying to go to school and start a whole new career so a donation would be extremely appreciated. A few bucks from several people adds up..

I have products from MAC, Makeup Forever, Stilla, Smashbox, Clinique, Nars, Philosophy, NYX, Coastal Scents, Benefit, Heavanly Naturals, Trucco, Too faced, Uban Decay, Sephora, and so many others...

I want to try products from Sugarpill, Illamasqua, Kat VonD, and several others also...

In the meantime I'm building a portfolio. While working on that I'll also build a site to display all my work and give credit to all those I've worked with. I believe in supporting other artists who help me. My very first public Blog!!! YAY!!!

Well, this is my very first post... Soon I will also create my very first Youtube video... Please be patient I don't have a video camera so the picture is grainy... I don't really like it but every one has to start somewhere. Just like you will see many changes to this blog. Hopefully, the colors will be one of the first changes... So, now that I've gotten that out of the way lets talk about my favorite subject! MAKEUP, Clothes, Shoes, Music, and where my influences come from...

So, when I was just out of high school I walked into a sephora for the very first time... I was so overwhelmed!!! Now, I know just about every line in the store.. Then again we are talking like 14 years in between overwhelming to being able to use all the lines that's carried... So, this computer geek is now looking to find her way into a world where she can make people feel good about them self with a small pick me up called make up.. The bigger question is how do you do this with out going to a school that offers Aesthetics... I have no interest in waxing any one let alone giving a full Brazilian to any one!!! So, Feel free to share where you can get such a formal education... Please post every kind of makeup artist school that you know of and I will share every thing that I can find on them.

I've done some research and the best way to ensure you make good money is to also do hair.. So, it looks like I will be attending cosmetology school as well just to ensure I am as marketable as possible..
