hey friends me jenni here and i'mreally excited to share with you this game i made called blue balls it'sbasically set in a 3d low poly world that i modeled myself while streaminglive on twitch so i'm just gonna press play and show you what it's all about. starts outdoors here with a beautifulstarry night ahead above but the real action starts when you enter jenni'sexotic live adult entertainment. got the red carpet as soon as you walkthrough the door the timer starts and you have to get as many pumpkins as youcan before the time is up. basically this club here i started to make so itcould become part of an asset package for anyone to

use in their own creations but ieventually wanted to do something with it myself. this curtain is pretty coolit's cloth physics that i learned how to use and the game was developedentirely here in unity, while i did the modeling in 3d max. this stage right hereis optional doesn't have to be a strip club but this this particular game has astage with a pole so i thought that was pretty funny. we even got these chibi girls to walk up on stage, two sometimes. they'llwalk into each other but they don't want to get too close to us the first-personcontroller, so i'm learning how to do c# programming so writing thescripts is kind of new for me so we

actually programmed these girls towander around aimlessly and then to avoid walking too close to me. sometimes they do get too close to each other so yeah the club here we got an entire barthat i made we can actually walk over here behind the bar and check out allthese different bottles that i made from scratch. these are supposed to bewine bottles these are supposed to be whiskey champagne on the bottom thenthey got little glasses here martini glasses and stuff booya so yeah you can actually hop up on tothe stage yourself but don't try this in a real strip club because it'll probablyget you kicked out haven't even gotten

to the bathroom yet oh no we're gonnahave to try harder friends i mean that little sound effect therefore the endscreen and i learned how to do these cute little buttons here where you cancheck the credits and these are clickable links that take you to my sidemy site rushing games who's the one they taught me how to 3d model and do unityand then this is the musician who i found on newgrounds ironically his songis called blue balls and i was originally checking to see if anyoneelse had used that name for a game but it turns out that there was only just asong that was named blue balls but it was funny because the musician in hisdescription said specifically that it

sounded like if sonic made a porno and iwas looking for some cheesy porno music to go with this game alright so you cansee that cool light effect on the blue ball it's kind of like a cool effectthat you can see on the walls sorry let's tank this time let's try toactually get it get all the pumpkins so you can see what happens when you winonce in a while the curtain gets a little funny so don't mind that i'mstill just learning this is actually the first game that i made almost entirelyby myself in the past i've gotten to submit some game assets or voice actingfor other people's games but yeah so this one i did all the art except forthe pumpkins those i got from the unity

asset store and the song i didn't dothat part but everything else i did myself while i was streaming on twitchputting this project together two different people helped me with my codeso shout out the two guys that helped me yeah on separate occasions i had ineeded some help and like my partner miran was busy sosome friends on twitch that were helping me yeah so here's the bathroom friends ithought that this was really cool over here because i learned how to doreflection probes so this is supposed to be a mirror but it doesn't have ourreflection because we don't actually have a body attached to the camera herebut reflection probes basically take

like a 360 photo of the environmentthat's around it and then it'll do the reflection on metallic surfaces likethese doors and these two eyelets these toilets are way shinier than necessarybut i thought they looked too cool not to include they're super shiny and likechrome chromatic toilets so no killer wears the ones that we missed oh godokay we might have to play a third time i don't know where those last threepumpkins were that we missed but we'll speed run the run at this time hey allright friends well hopefully if anyone happens to see this video or noticethese games online that you will find the inspiration to play them and if youdo then to leave a comment with some

constructive feedback of course anydevelopers dream is to how people play their game but also for me i like tolearn and if you see any ways that i can improve this game or ideas for thefuture of this game or others then let me know this like i only put together inthe last month or so like three or four weeks to make this so actually i hadn'teven decided that i was going to release it as anything until just a couple daysago so the scripting and stuff pretty much made all within the last coupledays all right let's see here almost only five more pumpkins we wonhey yeah well that's pretty much it friendswe made the end screens we got the

immersive experience of going through 3dstripclub i could to actually share with you someof my 3d models and hopefully a some someday like maybe a let's player willdecide to play it on their channel not just me but a good thing i'm both anaspiring game developer and a let's players so yeah so that's pretty much italso i guess i'll show you the sites where you can play it blue ballsyou can find it on gamejolt which is one of my favorite sites both gamejolt and itch.io, you can suggest a donation so i was amazed when i saw that severaldifferent people opted to give me the dollar donation here on gamejolt. 21people played it but 67 people viewed it

only one person decided to rate it soyou can see that um sometimes people you know they might look at it they mightplay it but slim chances that they'll bother to rate it so i'm glad that whenpeople do that then i don't know helps me learn here's a little speed model /time-lapse video from one of the live streams i did on twitch where you cansee me modeling the stripclub so if anyone decided that they wanted to usethis low poly in my club asset it does not have to be a strip club but i wantedto make it you know usable in case anyone wanted to make a bar some sort oflike bar scene or whatever yes let's pretty much hit friends thiswas just like in the middle of the

production here it looks a lot differentnow of course but yeah so there's there that and then i'll show you onnewgrounds one of my other favorite sites last time i loaded a game that imade on both new grounds and gamejolt was when i made my to flash dress-upgames all way back in 2014 so since then i feellike i've learned into the whole lot and for one thing i'm not using flashanymore i'm using unity of course 777 views here on newgrounds and on thissite it's really cool to see people do you actually leave more feedback so wehad like a handful of responses that i got to read and reflect on and writeback to the people they took the time to

respond on there so yeah same thing andthen of course it's on h dot io so this is the other site that it's on i hadn'tever loaded the game on here before so i feel like it's maybe a little bit lesspopular on this particular site but yeah it's really cool to see like theanalytics and stuff but anyway friends that's pretty much it i just wanted tofinally share with you what i've been up to you lately of course i have a patreonpage where i've been making updates more regularly and sharing the process withpeople that have made it clear that they want to know what i'm up to and that'sjust jenni nexus on patreon and of course i'll leave links to where you canplay this game or find the song that was

in the game i'll leave all that in thedescription box below and stuff and of course my twitch channel where iactually stream almost every day now so hopefully i'll stay in touch and iappreciate your watching the video and hopefully playing the game and in thefuture i look forward to developing for also android mobile games and also vrbecause you may or may not have noticed about a year ago i did an unboxing videoof the htc vive that we got and my partner is working on his first vr gameand eventually i'll be doing the same and when i get a new computer hopefullythen i'll be doing some more live streams vr games as well so thanks somuch for watching and i'll catch you

next time bye

hello everybody! today i want to reflect on one topic. what is better to take in the campaign? a tent? or a hammock with a tent? which is more convenient? what is more practical? what is more profitable, after all? i want to say something in advance.

as much as today i'm thinking about thepros and cons of a tent and a hammock... all these reflectionsare not final. all these conclusions change withthe accumulation of experience. the experience of usingtents and hammocks. all conclusions on the use of... of this hiking equipmentwill change... depending on the qualityof your equipment. what is your hammock. with a mesh or without a mesh.

big or small. insulated or not insulated. what kind of tent do you have? with or without awning. single or double. and so on and so forth. and all these factors willdepend on the conclusions. how and when to usetents or hammocks. what happens at the very beginning?

when we arrive at thechosen parking lot. we choose a place. or under the tent. that is, we needsome level area. horizontally. large enough. to fit the tent. double, single, quadruple. depending on the tentthere will be a plot.

what do we need for a hammock? for a hammock, two treesare enough for us. and now, the night findsus on some slope. it's time to go to sleep.there is no way to go. you're tired. it is dangerous to move.and so on. we need to set up a camp. accordingly, on the slopeyou can not put a tent. especially if the slopeis steep enough. but, if there are trees on theslope, you can install a hammock.

it would seem, a plus. but, if your trek goesthrough the desert... or in the steppe zone, .. there are plenty ofplaces to set up a tent. but, there are no placesto install a hammock. because there are no trees inthe desert and in the steppe. everything would be very sad. as for the hammock. if you fall into the desert.

if not, one "but". a hammock can notonly be suspended. a hammock can be installedas a small tent. that is, if you havetracking stick... or you prepared a stafffor the trip beforehand. do you have backpacks. maybe on the spot thereare some bushes, stones. at the place chosen for parking. with all this, you can installa hammock, like a small tent.

that is, we have dealtwith this problem. we proceed to the next moment. in a tent, even a single tent, you can,if necessary, settle down together. in this case, thetent is three-seater. and this is a palace in general! for one person thisis the whole house! this is a tent! oh. :-) and so, in the campaign, rain falls on your head.

you put up a tent. and the rain, meanwhile, poursfor 24 hours. or two days. it's boring. and you can not go. but there is enough space in the tent. so that you can eat here. make yourself a small table. you can move here somehow. oh. stretch out. doing physical exercise.

in general, you do not have to be bored. you will not be pressuredby an enclosed space. and even during the rain, you canhave a good time in the tent. and in the tent... oh. very convenient in the cold season. especially if you gocamping with a group. and in the tent are 2-4 people. you can connectyour sleeping bags.

you can warm each other. and even engage in allsorts of affection. if there is such a desire. the tent has to communicate. and creates a cozy atmosphere. and this is a plus. but, this is if youlike group hikes. if you are not alone. but the hammock is moredesigned for singles.

maximum of two people. naturally, depending onwhich hammock you have. in a hammock, probably, to some extent... so, unbutton it to the end. it's harder to climb than into the tent. but, this is a matter of skill. and the matter of experience. opa. where is the microphone? ..

notice, i'm doing all thiswith a microphone cord. :-) and today i did not take atourist rug in a hammock. i will not close. that you saw me. and i saw you. so. hammock is designed for singles. maximum for two people. and of course, the two of us can onlyfeel comfortable in a hammock in love. and this is the most indisputableadvantage of a hammock. this is this feeling of comfort!

indescribable comfort. the fact that you arenot lying on the ground. and do not feelany holes, bumps. with whom we know everyonewho goes on hikes. and who spent the night in tents. this is not in the hammock. especially if in a hammock you layan inflatable or ordinary rug. of course, you can also puta tourist rug in a tent. but, they will not give that comfortfeeling that a hammock gives.

here you do not touchhard and sharp bumps, .. with whom you willbe compelled... contact when sleeping in a tent. and this is an undeniableplus of a hammock. it's really comfortable here. by the way, i want to notice something. many doubt that in a hammock youcan sleep lying on your side. they are also afraid tofall out of the hammock. many people have the followingstereotype in mind.

that in a hammock you canonly sleep on your back. in fact, this is not so. in the hammock, you can sleep on your side. you can arrange anything. it is possible on the back. and if you want, even on your stomach. gradually, you get usedto using a hammock. and you will be moreand more adroit in it. it's more and more adroit in it.

and you will less and less feeldifferent imaginary fears. in the end, you will understand thatthe hammock is very, very comfortable. but, however, we go to the tent. so, we found out, in a hammockto sleep is definitely softer. well, what is in the tent? in the tent, as i already said, it ismore convenient to sleep with friends. and warmer, in the cold season. now let's talk about theweight of our equipment. tent and hanging system(hammock + awning).

what is harder? on this question, an unambiguousanswer simply can not be! it all depends on whatkind of tent you have. tents can be very heavy. and there are, of course, lightened. the easiest tents, as a rule, are sold without this tent. and they will flowin a heavy rain. and for these tents, you still haveto purchase a tent separately. here. "

therefore, if you go by a group... for example, how we walk, three of us... we have a triple tent... and we often divide thistent into 3 backpacks. that is, someone iscarrying an inner tent. someone is carrying a tent. and someone carriesarcs, ropes, stakes. and in this sense, the tent isbeneficial in terms of weight. divide one tent at all,it's definitely easier.

by weight, this will be easier thanif you take a suspension system. and in the suspension system, as we foundout, the three of us can not climb up. or together. together youcan, but not conveniently. therefore, even ifyou go by a group... and prefer hanging systems... then each of youwill have to bear... and a hammock. and the awning. which, of course, willbe heavier by weight. and in this matter, muchwill depend on you.

how good is your physical shape. much depends on whattime you go on a trip. for 1 or 2 days. for a week. i.e... the length of the trip will dependon the weight of the equipment. it will depend onwhere you are going. in the countryside with an abundanceof water, or without water. what do you have to carrybesides the tent...

and a suspension system. how much do you have tocarry food, water, clothes. much depends on the season. from the place you are going to. but, if you go, let'ssay, for a week. the group. my conclusion: it is betterto take a tent with you. it is easier to carrya tent or a foursome. than everyone separatelytake a suspension system.

suspension system is quite large.hammock + tent. and more by weight. i want to say... that the installation of thisentire suspension system... that is, a hammock and an awning... at first, it seems to youmore labor-consuming. than setting up a tent. but, to establish a tentor a hanging system... in many respects depends on that...

in what part do you set it all? you install thependant system alone. or with friends. you set the tent alone. the speed of the installationdepends on this. and for a tent. and for a suspended system. and at first, the installation ofthe suspension system seems longer. and even if you are alone. but it all depends on...

how often did you install thesuspension system before... and a tent. suppose i installeda tent more often. and the suspensionsystem only got. and just startedtrying to install. i think that when i installit a few dozen times... the installation speed will increase. and the opinion on thisissue, perhaps, will change. there is one moresmall clarification.

if you have a hammock and an awning... these two components... you can create a varietyof combinations. by their installation. today i installedthe tent like this. but it can be installed indozens of different ways. if there is a desireto show imagination. you can install the tentin the form of a tent. that there was such an entrance.

yes, this is how it is now. you can pull it like this, straight. to make a house, canopy. you can do more on one side. and there will be a moreopen hammock on this side. can be lower. higher. more horizontallyinstall the tent. or more a house.

that is, you can express yourimagination as you like. what can not be done with the tent. the tent is installedin one specific way. there is not much fantasy. of course, maybe therecan be fantasy. but, i do not see the pointin fantasies about the tent. and in the ingenuity to installa hammock and awning... there is a very great meaning. because in many respects...

the way you set the awningand the hammock from... where you install them. from that, there are trees nearby. is there anything to tie the tent. how can i pull. depends on weather conditions. from a thousand factors depends then... as you will install ahammock and awning. and now do not need tofocus on my option.

this is not the onlyinstallation option. as i go on camping trips... i will show youdifferent options. i already thought of afew interesting options. and then i'll show you. but, let's not be distractedfrom today's topic. today we discussed the installationof a hammock and a tent. for example, during the rain. and found out that in the tent, during the rain, more fun.

but, do not forget that there isa tent in the suspension system! and the canopy can be pulled this way... that under it will turn out alarge area protected from rain. on which you can alsodo household tasks. you can even light a fire ifthe tent is hung high enough. you can also warm up. and you can spend time whileit's raining outside. so, we talked about the rain. but what is best for winter?tent? or a hammock?

again, everything is ambiguous. for winter approaches, it isbetter to prefer a winter tent. not like this tent. it is designed for warm weather. but there are also winter hammocks. insulated winter hammocks. which are designed so thatthe top and bottom... protect from cold and weather. and if you add a tent...

if you add a wonderfulwinter sleeping bag... then the level of comfort in winter... and the tent and the hammockwill be approximately equal. it all depends on theextra hiking gear. sleeping bag. tourist rugs. and so on. but, again, in the winter campaign thecold most strongly comes from the earth. and the tent is on the ground.

and if you do not havea good tourist rug... if you do not have a good sleeping bag... you risk frostbiteall your sides, .. back, kidneys and so on... this risk is higher in thetent than in the hammock. in the hammock, you willstill be hanging in the air. and do not touchthe cold ground. and if you are well dressed andwill sleep in a sleeping bag... and on the rug, youwill be much warmer.

i think that i did not rememberall the interesting moments. and did not sound all the pros and cons. maybe i will voice later, as iuse the tent and hammock... it depends on my experience. i've been using atent for many years. a hammock only thisyear began to use. and i think, as far as using thesuspension system and tent... i may have some more ideas. but, for today everything.

and what conclusions can we draw? what we win? tent?or a hammock? the friendship wins in this matter! :-) because the preferences for usinga tent and hanging system... depend on manydifferent factors. are you going on a camping trip alone... or with a group... whether you go to thesteppe or into the forest. whether you go for 2days, or for 10 days.

your choice will dependon all these factors. your choice for aspecific, specific hike. and for some trips it will bemore appropriate to take a tent. it will be reasonable. it will be competently. it will be optimal. for other hikes, it will also beprudent to take a hanging system. as i said, the suspension systemis more suitable for singles. a tent, this is for singles, and for groups of people.

here are such simple conclusions. any equipment is suitable, if youknow how to use it competently. so much depends onyour capabilities. if you are an active traveler. then i would have bought everything. and a tent. and the suspension system. and i would use both. as needed.

depending on the needs. and depending on the goals. perhaps, that's it. i chatted with you gloriously. i hope, i will helpsomeone with this video. i'll help you make a decision. the decision in the choice of equipment. that's all. with you was tatiana gordeeva.

goodbye! subscribe to my channel! :-) i plan to do many usefuland interesting, .. entertaining...and cognitive videos. until next time, friends!

peter pill travelers mark here with [walter] [sterling] today. we're the main square here in krakow poland beautiful cities definitely worth checking out and today we have for you are the [10] things that shocked tourists when they come here to poland and the first thing that shocked people when they come to poland is the polish faith the polish look when you come here, you'll notice that people walk around like this just there's no motion. it's not happy it's not [sad]. it's just neutral it's funny because you [see] it anywhere looking the train station you going out to eat you're going to the stores you're going all over the place. they just have the same look okay, it's like wait a minute kitchen

be happy or sad [or] something up they have it's like dead on look which works really well because you'll see the women here are gorgeous okay, and when you see them longer. oh, they're just preparing for their supermodel career because when you're on the catwalk you don't show any emotion so they actually works really well, but it is kind of funny how the people you know you do have this? look, and that's the first thing i shock people also kind of going along with the people you might be shocked at look the [polls] are not like the jokes you heard as a kid they're not done. they're not alcoholic stuff like that. you don't have that. i mean. yes there are but that's everywhere it's not more or less than you get another country so that also kind of [shocked] the people they come here cuz i'm you saw

those polish jokes where what is it for polish people, and how do they don't move the bed or something? you don't have that here the second thing that will shock you when you come here also deals with the polish people are how catholic and how religious the people are i mean i remember going on the buses and lovely and he's like punk rock guys are on the in there and and they go by a church and they all do the sign of the cross i'm like whoa. [i] didn't expect that people here in poland are very religious and the churches this is st. mary honestly the first time i walked in there 20 years ago i would just draw drop [wow] the booths are all blue altar the blue steel and everything it's just amazing and the churches around the country are gorgeous, and they're actually building more churches here. you know other countries they're turning churches into apartments and hotels in bars here people still go to church

they still do believe and you do have a very religious conservative feel when the people are here which is kind of a different thing [and] you go and when you go in the churches? that's the real thing [about] it you really see the beauty of the churches the ones that have them been destroyed during the war that maybe they've been rebuilt but like here and other ones you really go and just see the majestic beauty of the churches here so do take the chance to go into the churches don't just go oh, it's another church go in and check it out that kind of leads into the third thing [that'll] shock you when you come to poland it's how much poland was destroyed during the second world war i mean, krakow was lucky didn't really get destroyed during the war

but a lot [of] the other cities were just leveled for example warsaw when you go there you'll go see the uprising [museum] and realize that everything old and cracow is actually younger than top of your dad because they had to rebuild it all after the war because [it] got leveled by the nazis and you'll see that and you go around that's why you'll see the [communist] architecture and the big square long rectangle buildings and stuff like that because there was nothing there it was all destroyed so they had to rebuild and when you really see the level of destruction throughout the country and how much they've come back and built new stuff you'll be very proud [of] the people and that's what's really cool about it now the fourth thing [is] gonna shock you [anna] come to

poland is how completely incomprehensible and illegible the polish language is look if you don't speak polish [it's] okay the locals know you don't speak polish [also] try to think polish with you, but oh just to one of those languages you're listing at the train station. you're like. yeah, i got nothing yeah, i don't know it's city i'm going to it is [a] very tough language it's very hard to pronounce like how do you say? prz in a row and there's like a hat and there's an l with a line through it is that a zero well? what is that you do get pretty confused when you are here? and it is kind of shocking that you can't even make out some of the stuff now

we are developing better for tourism so you will have a lot of you know english menus and stuff like that but it is a really good idea to know some polish before you come like [julia]. which is like thank you for the steam is please things like that because it really get those people to go from you say not pure protein oh yes, they polish, and they really open up then okay the first thing [that] might shock you is your eating experience here the [poles] really love their potatoes and their cabbage and even if it's not on the menu like it might tell it to cutlet [night] it'll come with cabbage and potatoes here i go [ah] i'll have [the] port of the pork knuckle and said oh it comes of pork and calves what?

i'll just have the rolls oh cabbage roll, okay look, you're going to have a lot of cabbage. you're gonna have a lot [of] potatoes when you are here and there are some pretty good foods like the pierogi you're going to have that when you're here i might actually like the meat when i was here too in the potatoes good show the potatoes [but] [it's] all the time with the perfect cabbage of the potatoes again and again and again. that's why yesterday i just got the cabbage rolls i'm like look because that i know i'm getting the cabbage

haha, but it came with a side of mashed potatoes and i just liked it laughs okay also kind of interesting is they really love their tea here, too now the sixth thing that might shock you as a tourist is you notice there's not very many tourists now in cracow you do get about ten million tourists a year i mean, this is a very popular place because it's gorgeous, and i'll talk about that towards the end but honestly there's not a lot of tourists actually come to poland and so when you go around you really are kind of a special tourist because you are actually here you might get people going why are you luling and wiring? whoosh? why are you here? you know [some] places like cracow it's obvious you know we go around and there's just so few tourists out there that you're like

heyi can kick back relax and do [ok] and what kind of [leave] thought of that is our next shock is how cheap it is here because there's not a lot [of] [tours] driving up the prices it's nice because you can have a very affordable vacation here in poland rooms accommodation food drink making merry all kinds of stuff and you'll see a lot of people come to like krakauer warsaw to go have a party weekend and stuff like that because you really can your money goes a lot farther here than other places and that's what's really cool now the next thing. it's going to shock when you are here is the amount of natural beauty and space in poland look it's the huge countries are the biggest countries in europe and the thing is you're going to be going between these different

towns, [but] it was on a bus or a train things like that not super fast razor fast enough trains and you're going to run and it's just amazing how big the [crush] [me] is but also the natural beauty you see when you go through there and what's nice is when you go through and you can go if you're in the [north] you're going to get on okay? well, that's one right there drock alan and ganache on my [food] favorites [yup] [and] ganache you come down a bit you go over the [missourian] legs and see the castle. that's right by there the [montmartre] castle which is on the way towards there go to the lakes and enjoy that go to the coast in [the] north in this south you've got the tatras [mountains] and you go to zakopane and stay there tons of europeans go there to ski in the winter because yes, it's beautiful

and it's cheap remember i said before but you have this [natural] beauty like wow this really is i understand why they have all their tourism? propaganda is about you know the natural beauty of poland because it really is beautiful having said that the next thing else shock you is how amazing the town squares are here in poland yes here in cracow you've got the the cloth hall over here the checkout. you've got the st.. mary's church over there you've got all these [things] inside you've got all these things to go and see and this is actually the largest town square and the european in europe and it's amazing, but it's not just here you go to warsaw the [fuel/air] old town square

they really built from scratch rock club goes through the [old-time] [lublin] combat gdansk the portrait of garage man you just walk around there see the neptune statue you like man. this is so cool. [and] you have all these beautiful squares you have all these beautiful buildings that have been rebuilt after the war or maybe they're still there from before the war you have that beauty that i'm not a lot of people think of because when they think of poland you're thinking of you know it's just it's farmland and stuff like that and look there is just amazing places here in poland so it's definitely worth checking out and the ten thing that might shock you we need to come to poland is the lack of service so remember that polish faith this is your service it's not the most attentive. it's not the most friendly you'll get your food. it'll just take some [time]

but just [no] homelessness are the most service-oriented economy out there so you need to have some patience when you are when you are coming here and probably, that's the only thing that shocks you kind of in a bad way is really the service here isn't the best but it's getting better. [i] used [to] come here a lot in the early 2000s for work and compared to you know 2017 versus 2007 or 2002 and it is it's completely different anyway i hope that helps [you] know a few things that might shock you before you come to poland it is a great country to visit

because you're one of the few tourists coming here to see something [real] [emitting] like right now so i will learn more five things you love and hate about warsaw what you should eat when you come here to poland check us on our website at walters [worldcom] [where] us on twitter facebook instagram vj2qKO-_rm0 and we really appreciate your life subscriptions and if you do subscribe to our [channel] we actually put out two travel videos every week every wednesday and saturday and we really appreciate those likes and it's got comments the things that [shucks] you about poland who did that comment section below? so i'm sorry talk so fast this video. i just got really excited about my time here in poland live from krakow or chuckles. sorry my

the story i will relate is trueand is a beautiful black cat and courage. but better not advance anything. i prefer that you discover them. the garden was wilted from lack of irrigation. the family had traveled a few weeks away,to take a little vacation and lack of water had wreaked havoc. some plants, like geraniums, hadpassed away. instead jasmine stood looking atchallenging the sky. apparently the roots had reachedgroundwater and had stocked

at will. pedro looked into the desolate landscape that offeredwhat it was once a green orchard. suddenly out of nowhere, came a black catas night. outraged, thinking of curses and witchcraftit took a broom and started to take the animal outside.-â¡una black cat !. that brings bad suerte.- thought, between angryand scared. i'm not going to let that animal back. the next day came mary hadremained one more day in the village resort, to finish finalizing the last details.

when he came home, peter told him what happenedand the great mystery of the black cat in the garden. he is arguing that was unlucky thingand witchcraft. mary laughed in their faces:i did not know you were so superstitious. i do not think that animal came here tobring us bad luck, if not the opposite. pedro looked suspicious:-what do you mean? that things are not what they seem. we can not stand on the threshold of a doorwithout going to see what's inside, judging from outside what we see.

the conversation ended after dinner, when they removed to rest. the next morning mary asomoã³ tobalcony. ohhhh sopresa !. there was the beautiful black cat, lookingdeseperada the grass. low down the ladder quickly withoutnoise. i wanted to unravel the mystery of the black cat.-what was looking for that beautiful animal in the garden? he stared through the glass door. he was very skinny.

then a thought crossed his mind: "thebeautiful feline is not alone ". he slowly opened the door. the animal to be surprised, looked defiant. mary spoke in a soft voice:-do not worry. i'm not going to do anything. i just want to check something, honey. slowly, carefully, he moved closer. feline he backed and growled at herthe defiant eyes. panther seemed small to jump.

suddenly a familiar sound came tomary ears. there they were as beautiful as a rainbow !. in total eight beautiful furry of allcolors! a beautiful and tender rainbow was bornin the garden of mary. he looked astonished beautiful black pantheradmired at the same time: no beautiful themes, not going to remove yourlittle children -are you hungry?of course you have. there are many furry for you. now i'll bring something that will giveenough milk to nurse them all.

marãa buscã³ a large tray and fullwith all i had at home. a rich stew of potatoes that had broughtmade the people to eat until they could replenish the fridge. the stew smelled great and more forpanterita small, famished! the beautiful black panther eating and growling atsame time, if mary could think approach their little children. her maternal instinct prevailed overeven the hunger that gnawed his gut.

here you can see what my ants did while i was working. the cap was filled with water. around half of it. they put a lot of sand into it so all the water drained into the ground because of capillary action. so the ground is now moist. maybe you can see that the sand is darker. you can see on the left side how they

chose exactly one area to establish the connection to the ground. i often hear from others that they put sand into it in order to prevent drowning. but i personally think that there are other reasons i think that they realize that there is water inside the cap and that they moisturize their own nest or create new potential nesting places. the ants already started digging under the cap

a few moments ago more ants were digging so here you can see it again from a different perspective. here you can clearly see how they layed down the grains of sand till the ground. here you can also see how dark the sand is that indicates moisture in the ground. the question is: is it simply coincidence? as already said,

i personally don't think that it is coincidence but as far as i know there hasn't been any reasearch yet. so that's my personal interpretation of the observation thank you for watching, have a nice day! ciao.

today we're going to talk about how toinstall a dignitet, i believe that's how you pronounce it, curtain wire hangerthat we recently purchased at ikea. we also got a third bracket to allow us torun a longer span of the wire. we're actually going to install this in mywife's art studio. and i believe she's going to use it tohang artwork from. these parts that you can see here are all the pieces thatcame with the kit. the kit does not include screws or wall anchors. you haveto pick out your own for that depending on where you're going to mount it. in ourcase we're going to mount it in a sheetrock wall so i'm going to use anumber 6 nylon wall driller. it's just a

plastic insert and the appropriatescrews that go with it and it's just some of the things that i keep in my kitaround our house for occasional projects like this. you'll also need a phillipshead screwdriver. in my case we're using phillips head screws to mount it with sowe'll need a phillips head screwdriver, a 3/16 inch drill bit, an extension cord, a drill, a tape measure and a couple of the things that i haveare a power driver that i like to use. it just speeds up the installation of thescrews into the drywall hangers. you want to be careful when you're using thisthough and don't over tighten them because it'll strip out these plasticanchors real easy so that's why i also

have a phillips head screw driver. and ialso like to use, it's just an old ice pick that i have in my tool kit. it helpsme to pinpoint where i want to hang a hanger. like in this case i'm able to putthat up on the wall and just punch a tiny hole in the wall or you can punchit into the sheetrock and let it hang there and make sure it's where i want itto be hung. we purchased the wire hanger to put in my wife's craft, art studio ifyou will, and she's showing now on the wall where we're going to hang it. the kit itself comes with enough wire to hang a span of approximately 197inches and in our case we're only going to use about 140 inches of thewire so we'll actually have to trim the

wire. and i failed to get out of my toolkita pair of wire dikes that will be needed to cut this wire because it is a steelbraided wire and it's a pretty tough to cut the wire itself and i don't have awire in the picture either. i've got it over to the side but we'll show you thatwhen we're getting ready to cut it. okay what we've done here is we pickedout approximately how high we want the left bracket to be and i've gone aheadand marked the holes on the wall where i want to drill those out and i'm going totake my drill with a 3/16 inch drill bit and punch these holes into the sheetrock.but what i also noted here, and this is a safety issue. you want to be carefulbecause we're we're mounting this is

directly above a three switch lightswitch. so i'm almost 100% sure that in this wall, there are electrical wiresrunning up into my attic. so you just you want to punch these just through thesheetrock and not go you know, deep into the wall. so we're going to do that now. and all we're basically doing isdrilling a pilot hole for the plastic anchors that screw into these holes. these are those plastic anchors and you just screw them into thesheetrock until they get flush, or as close to flush as possible. and you justwant to make sure they don't strip out

when you're screwing them in. so theseare not totally all the way down but because of the decorative caps that camein the kit, these will be covered once we get the bracket actually attached tothese. so now we're going to take the screws that we selected and go ahead and mount the bracket and put the cap on. okay now i'm going to go ahead andattach the bracket to the wall. i'm using my power driver just to snug them up. you want to be careful when you're doing this and not strip out those plasticanchors that's like i was mentioning earlier. you will take your phillips headscrewdriver and just use it to finish tightening the screws down until theymake a snug fit. and we're

taking our phillips head screwdriver nowand just snugging the screws down until they're tight. you don't want to overtighten these again because you're in a plastic drywall anchor and you don'twant them to strip out. and once you've got those snug and you're happy with theinstallation, you can take your decorative cap that came with the kit and slide it on and snap it into place. and we should be through with the leftbracket installation part of this project. okay what we're doing now ispositioning the right side bracket on the other end of the room from where thespan of wire is going to run. and what we're actually doing is also making sure

it's going to be as close to level inthe room as possible. and what i did was check the measurements from the centerof this post to the ceiling and then also from the center of the post to thefloor, compared to the opposite end of the room and it looks like it's prettymuch spot-on where it is here. i also made sure that the post that doesn'tcome screwed into the base that comes in the kit is screwed in as tight as itshould be and at the bracket where the wire actually goes into is aiming in theright or as close to the right or the correct direction that it needs to beand then i'm going to go ahead and mark the three holes on the sheetrock whereit should be attached to the wall. okay

we've got our third bracket installedand because we're running such a long span of the wire and they don'trecommend that you go over approximately 55 inches for the wire from one supportto another is why we chose to put a center support in. and we went ahead and ran the wire through the post while we were up on our stepladder so we won'thave to get that back out and get back up there to it. and now we're going to aaffix the wire or the cable to the right-hand bracket. and before we do thatyou want to make sure these little plastic caps that they have on here arestill on there and still intact. that's what keeps the wire, the braided wirefrom coming unwound when you stick it

into the socket where it's actuallygoing to attach. and we're attaching to the right side bracket of the kit whichdoesn't actually have any adjustment to it. and you want to make sure that youget the wire actually seated into the bracket all the way when you're affixingit. and there are two allen headed set screws on the bracket, that once you getthis inserted into the post here, the screws are down here and they actuallygive you an allen wrench in the kit to tighten these with. but you want tomake sure that the wire and the little plastic shield goes into the socket allthe way. in this case you can see the plastic shield is trying to slide backout. but we're going to stick that in as

far as the wire will go and you'll feelit seat against the back of the bracket and then if you have a fingernail youcan take and slide that plastic sleeve on down the rest of the way until it'sall the way in there or take the socket wrench and slide it in there or theallen wrench excuse me and then you want to take it and tighten down both of theallen set screws. okay we've got our wire attached to the right hand sidebracket. we've run it through the middle support bracket and we're getting readyto attach it to the bracket on the left hand side. as i mentioned earlier, this isthe bracket with the adjustment. it has this turnbuckle if you will, which is howyou're actually going to tighten the

bracket up. and what you want to makesure first, is that the turnbuckle is open if you will. so you want to havethreads exposed here and here. and they recommend that you allow approximately5/8 of an inch in each location as far as having the threads exposed and that'swhat we have. so now we're holding up our cable and because it's longer than whatwe needed; which we knew it would be, we're getting ready to cut that off. andyou want to pull it, just somewhat tight. you don't want to this is not thetightening part of it but you want it to be fairly tight and what we're going todo is we're going to cut it off about right here so it lines up. so the end ofthe wire if you will lines up with the

end of the bracket right here once weinsert it into the part where the two set screws are. we've also slid theplastic sleeve back to right here from the end of the wire down there and we'regoing to make our cut like i said about right here. okay what we've done is we trimmed our wire off to the appropriate length that we needed. we've inserted it in the socketon this end and i've already tightened the two allen headed set screws down. and i'm going to take the allen wrench, put it in the little hole in the turnbucklehere. and i'm going to start to turn the turnbuckle like so. and what it's goingto start doing its tightening up the

cable. and you just want to check it andmake sure you have it snug as you want it. and there's still some adjustment thereif we need to but it looks pretty good. it looks like we're finished with ourinstallation. thanks for watching!for other diy projects visit my youtube channel.diy adventure

i use 48m/50g yarn and we are going to need about 12 of these balls of wool. and i use a 9mm crochet hook. we start with a magic ring. and we are going to do 12 half double crochets into that ring. but we do the first half double crochet by chaining 2. and then we do the other 11 half double crochets. now, we pull it tight. and then we do a slip stitch into the second chain, that we did at the beginning of the round. this was the first round.

in the second round we are going to do 2 half double crochets into every stitch. we start again with 2 chains. and then we do 2 half double crochets into each of the following stitches. at the end of the round we have 24 stitches. we finish the round with a slip stitch into the second chain. the third round starts again with 2 chains. now, we are going to do 1 half double crochet in one stitch and then 2 half double crochets into the next stitch, then again 1 half double crochet into the next stitch and so on. at the end weâ´ll receive 36 stitches. again, we finish the round by doing a slip stitch into the second chain.

the 4th round starts with two chains. and now we are going to increase every third stitch. this means, we do one half double crochet into the first stitch, then 1 half double crochet into the second stitch and then 2 half double crochets into the third stitch. we repeat this until the end. at the end of round 4 we have 48 stitches. in every round we do an increase of 12 stitches. we finish this round with a slip stitch into the second chain. and we start the following round with 2 chains. in round 5 we are going to do an increase into every 4th stitch. this means, we to 1 half double crochet into the first 3 stitches and 2 half double crochets into the 4th stitch.

at the end we will have 60 stitches. we finish the 5th round with a slip stitch into the second chain. in round 6 we start with 2 chains. and now we are going to do 2 half double crochets into every 5th stitch. at the end we will have 72 stitches. we finish the 6th round with a slip stitch. and now we proceed like this: every round starts with 2 chains, in round 7 we do 2 half double crochets into every 6th stitch. in round 8 we do 2 half double crochets into every 7th stitch. and every round is finished with a slip stitch into the second chain.

the 8th round is finished now and i have 96 stitches. in the following rounds we wonâ´t do increases anymore. we do 1 half double crochet into every stitch and we stay with our 96 stitches. i did 3 rounds, in which i did 1 half double crochet into every stitch. all in all i did 11 rounds now. in round 12 we are going to do an increase again. we do 2 half double crochet into every 8th stitch. at the end of the 12th round we have 108 stitches. in round 13 we are going to do 1 half double crochet into every stitch. so we wonâ´t increase. in round 14 we are going to do an increase again: we do 2 half double crochets into every 9th stitch. at the end of round 14 we have 120 stitches. and in round 15 we are going to do 1 half double crochet into every stitch.

in round 16 we are going to do 2 half double crochets into every 10th stitch. at the end of the round we will have 132 stitches. all in all we did 16 rounds and have 132 stitches. the top of our pouf is finished. now, we are going to crochet the side of the pouf. so we are going to do 1 half double crochet into every stitch, but we wonâ´t insert the hook into both loops (as normal) but we are going to crochet only in the back loop. again we start with 2 chains. and then we do 1 half double crochet into the back loop of every stitch. crocheting into the back loop creates an edge - as you can see.

now we crochet the following rounds by doing 1 half double crochet into every stitch. and from now on we will insert the hook into both loops again. the amount of rounds depends on how thick or high you want your pouf to be. for the side part of the pouf i did 9 rounds. if you want your pouf to be higher, you can simply add a couple of rounds. now, we are going to do the bottom of the pouf. we have 132 stitches and now we are going to do an decrease of 12 stitches, so we will have 120 stitches. we start with 2 chains. and in this round we are going to crochet into the back loop again. we do 9 half double crochets and then we crochet the 10th and 11th stitch togehter.

i did 9 half double crochets and now iâ´m going to crochet the following 2 stitches together. we yarn over, insert the hook into the stitch (back loop), yarn over and pull through. then we yarn over and insert the hook into the next stitch. then yarn over, pull through. then we have 5 loops on the hook. we yarn over and pull through all 5 loops. then again we do 9 half double crochets and crochet the 10th and 11th stitch together. we finish the round with a slip stitch. and now we have 120 stitches. in the next round we are going to do 1 half double crochet into every stitch (in both loops). the second round is finished. in round 3 we start with 2 chains.

and then we crochet every 9th and 10th stitch together. at the end of round 3 we have 108 stitches. in round 4 we are going to do 1 half double crochet into every stitch. in round 5 we crochet every 8th and 9th stitch together and then we will have 96 stitches. the 5th round is finished and we have 96 stitches. in the next 4 rounds (round 6 - 9) we are going to do 1 half double crochet into every stitch. after these 4 rounds we did 9 rounds for the bottom of the pouf. in round 10 we are going to do an decrease again. we are going to crochet every 7th and 8th stitch together.

now we have 84 stitches. in the following rounds we are going to do a decrease of 12 stitches in every single round. this means: in round 11 we crochet every 6th and 7th stitch together, in round 12 every 5th and 6th, in round 13 every 4th and 5th, in round 14 every 3th and 4th and in round 15 every second and third stitch. after finishing round 13 iâ´m going to fill the pouf with cotton. we need about 1,5 kilogrammes of the cotton. and then we can proceed with round 14. after finishing round 15 we have 24 stitches. and in round 16 we crochet 2 stitches together. at the end of the round we have 12 stitches.

and in round 17 we crochet 2 stitches together, like in the previous round. then we will have 6 stitches. in the last round we are going to do single crochets. we do 1 single crochet into every stitch. we finish the round with a slip stitch in the first single crochet. if you want you can take a thread and crochet lines onto the pouf. at the end we are going to pull the thread through and sew it. i chose to crochet a couple of rounds to my pouf.

on our first ever episode of what's my aesthetic we'll meet longtime creative weirdo shizen wong who recently moved from amsterdam into a studio apartment in the middle of los angeles to pursue her dream career of being a professional model. hi mr.kate hi, joey, welcome into my apartment. i just moved to los angeles in january. i just want to feel at home when i walk in to my apartment, and that's not the case right now we're gonna diagnose her perfect aesthetic which will inform our creative weirdness another thing is the fact that it's a studio, which is obviously always a challenge because we have to make it a living room and a bedroom and ultimately give her a model worthy apartment makeover that represents her personal style

complete with a brand-new online portfolio thanks to our sponsor wix.com that provides creative weirdos everywhere the ability to showcase themselves online any wix way they want that's cool that is amazing. what's so important about you having a website as a model is it's kind of like your business card. exactly yeah, so put on your golden freckles and let's get to designing hey guys i'm mr.kate and i live my life as a creative weirdo i think people's weirdness is their own brand of uniqueness and it's my passion in life to help people define their creativity so that they can express their truest selves to the world

you may be sixty percent bohemian 30 percent minimalist and 10 percent glam, but whatever you are you're 100 percent you. so let's go on a journey together and ask the question what's my aesthetic? alright so let's go meet shizen and find out what her aesthetic is what she likes what she doesn't like and see if we can make her space as cool as she is. hi! oh you have friends here, oh your mom my gosh! she looks like your sister nice to meet you, this is your studio all right, so tell us about your aesthetic, i think my style is very bohemian glamour machine

yeah, so a mix of bohemian which is like a little more earthy and plants like green, my favorite colors blue your favorite colors blue? blue you don't see a lot of blue in bohemian design usually more like a neutral in earth tones for the glam is like more shiny finishes gold, okay so i'm walking around shizen's apartment and just kind of analyzing the elements that she's decided to place around, it's great way for me to kind of see the world in her eyeball. so you got two clocks

yeah, i wanted to hang them up i love that idea! those are beautiful too and that's that kind of bohemian glam thing right? is that a closet? yeah so that door is really cool because it opens up like this but you can't use it oh you have another access point so that's why you covered it so you're in la because you're a model right? yes so part of this new series is we're working with mix cuz i think part of what we're gonna do with this makeover is also makeover your website we want to do like a photoshoot with you and stuff. are you down for that? are you down?

yes! so it's basically like you're gonna be able to like jump off with your room done and then your professional presence done as well. cuz like that's what you put out in the world, right? yeah, a life makeover all right, one two three, aesthetic! okay guys, so let's diagnose shizen's aesthetic. we know off the bat that she loves pale blue she voiced that she's like my favorite colors pale blue she also likes the accent colors of pale pink and gold so already off the bat like i'm getting glam vibes but i also had another clue while we were there

remember those brass candlesticks the fact that she went to the thrift store that she's open to that brass patina i'm getting the clue that she is somewhat vintage eclectic alright, so based off all those things my diagnosis of shizen's aesthetic is 60 percent glam 30 percent bohemian and 10 percent vintage eclectic. hey guys, hello so joey's here. we've got a joey. what's the plan? okay. here's the plan. so this is a mood board this is all the vibe of everything. we've got the pale blue on the walls. this is the stuff i've already ordered a mix of glam and bohemian oh, we ordered her a new couch?ordered her a new couch because you know, she has that dark gray couch

another thing is the fact that it's a studio which is obviously always a challenge because we have to make it a living room and a bedroom she's got a big queen-size bed. we're using the bed we're using the mattress and the bed frame that she has but i ordered this headboard. okay. the things that we have going for us in the room are the high ceilings the hardwood floors the natural light. right so we're doing a bunch of pale blue in that room with accent of the gold so i bought these gold throw pillows there's some gold here, i'll do gold on this diy mirror i'm going to make and then also some pale paint and some of the faux flowers

i also want to use those pale pink shelves from the office with the rope that we already diy, okay you guys can go check it out and we're gonna use those in her space and she gets to keep them great. so this is all the stuff i ordered. love it. now let's look at the floor plan so when you first walk into her room right now her beds like right there. i know, which is not ideal yeah, there's not necessarily a totally ideal place to put the bed just because in this new setup it's off her kitchen. but i still think it's a cozier spot them right by her front door, right and also it'll just kind of like bring you in you can enter into her living room she can have friends over and they can sit in this little conversation area we're going to set up also, no longer blocking that closet door great

my plan is to put a canvas on top of the closet door well, yeah because she has another closet door. she doesn't need that closet door. okay, so we're also paying for everything we are we're treating her to this makeover. we're putting her into a hotel yea, that's the plan guys. hope you like let's see if we can actually make this happen. shizen, i'm so glad we're doing this together you're an og creative weirdo. thank you so much for watching the videos for so long now we're here in the flesh which i've diagnosed you. yeah as being 60 percent glam. yes, 30 percent bohemian and then 10 percent

vintage eclectic. yes, so does that sound like the correct diagnosis? oh, yeah. yeah. yeah okay. so how cool will it be when your website is exactly like this? is exactly like your room too what's so important about you having a website as a model is it's kind of like your business card exactly yeah, your portfolio and obviously it'll be super easy for you to update whenever you want change out the pictures all right, so let's get into styling. i love let me i mean, of course you have to love it. well, what do you think about this dress? yeah, awesome. yeah, and i like the color. it's such a beautiful that kind of like pale blue color that you love so that's one option

i also love this, it is really nice right? very vintage. yes, super cute i have like this little like mini dress, oh i really like this one. let's get you in this one first. all right, so shizen's gonna change. and we're gonna start taking pictures oh, oh my gosh, you look so good. do you love it? oh my god, your so cute, i love it goddess, glam, yes! oh my gosh look at you so powerful. i love these are you happy. i'm so happy. okay good and now you get to go off and spend a night in a hotel

i'm gonna work on this. okay, awesome, but i think these are so pretty. oh my gosh. i cannot wait to edit these i'm so excited about those pictures, so i have all the diy supplies here and i'm gonna go over all the projects with you so that you guys are in the know but first i think we should definitely facetime joey and see how he's doing over in the apartment because he's painting and working hard setting up the furniture at least he better be hello? hello how's it going? uh, it's going good, paints on, lights hung you got all the walls painted?

yeah, they look good, here did you get the chandelier up? yes the chandelier's up. oh my gosh, the glam is happening we're doing great. i love you i love you too okay. i'll see you later. alright, so joey's working hard now i'm about to work hard on some diy projects so we need to make sure that we are bringing in glam bohemian and a little bit of vintage eclectic so the idea is take this simple mirror and then use these pieces of millwork which are more ornate moldings i ordered all of these online and paint them gold. so i'm gonna attach these with some e6000 it's clear it'll dry clear and it's also really strong

i'm also going to take this rug and my thought with this is to use it on the wall above her bed bring in this beautiful medallion shape but also using some faux flowers i got these faux peonies this is one of our accent colors along with the gold probably hot glue them on maybe use a little bit of wire to attach these through the gaps in the crochet and then i also have this canvas over here and the idea with this is to create an inspiration board for her so paint this large canvas a single shade of this beautiful. where's my peachy pink? here it is so this beautiful peachy pink color is of course our accent color and

this will become an inspiration board we will hang on that closet door that is you know out of use and she can pin tears of magazines you know all kinds of whatever other inspiration ideas. i think it'll be really cool and useful for her that's the plan i have so much to do i'm gonna make these and then load them up in the car and head over to joey. okay. are you ready to see these photos? okay guys, i'm so glad of these photos. she's an obviously gorgeous model made it really easy but i'm also very proud of editing and just the color palette everything. it's gonna match her room her aesthetic i know start with a funny one. it's got her whole aesthetic in here. we've got the 60% glam right like look how glam these are but then the styling is like a little more bohemian at 30%

so pretty and i also rolled on some video of her while we were against the white nice, you know, so that could be cool to use like i like when websites like start with video all right, so what do we do? okay guys websites used to be hard to make wix now makes it so easy. so you just pick a template right? yeah, so there's a bunch of different templates, which is great so you guys can pick a template that matches your aesthetic right? we're going for something kind of like clean and glam with her alright, so i think it'd be cool to start out with video. yeah for sure so wait, i like that template if we just want to make this first section video you just go to change page background

and video well, yeah, there's a video options upload that guy yes that guy. so basically this will be great too because any new editorial whatever she can just add in the new photos. yep. okay, so this template already came with three links because it's a portfolio template it's basically you can choose from a bunch of different types of perfect portfolios

perfect for her and if you're a dentist, you can pick a dentist template. are you a dentist? i can brush i could do that. no, i've flossed my teeth twice a day after you got a bad review from the hygienist. that's not true this that's cool that is amazing yeah, just well it's a gorgeous so what do we put here we can put like maybe photos yeah, i think i think let's put in her portfolio photos. yeah. so we want like a slider yes, a slider i love a slider. so i think we just go add a gallery look at all the options for galleries they have okay. love it. you just add it you drag it to where you want.

this is very easy guys, and then we can change how it fits. oh perfect, look at that oh my god how is this slider? so then i think we can just do her like about section we can just click on the text and type it right here so like hi i'm shizen, and i'm from amsterdam i'm a poet and i know it she can edit that thank god she can have edit it and then like maybe we put like a picture of her or something to go with the about section a picture of amsterdam

oh, that's cool, do you have any? from our trip all right, i'm gonna airdrop it to you. that's the color palette the pale blue the peachy pink i mean, whoa what we just made a website let's give it a test drive, you ready? she smiled she's so inviting i want more look at that portfolio and then you can also then go click these links and they just take you to the section okay, let's go look at the room. website done. i want to see that project you made. yes

okay, and oh my gosh, the mirror turned out so cool joey i have to show you. wait, this is a high stool small on a stool small on a tall stool takes a while. i'm also stuck to the seat turned out so cool kate. thank you all i did was i painted it gold and then i painted all these separate pieces i planned the layout first and then i just glued them on with e6000 so that they're strong and i ended up deciding to do some of the pieces on the actual mirror to just like have more of that ornate look since the frame was really skinny. okay. so let's talk about the big items in here, right

so this is our conversation area conversation area so we've got our beautiful glam couch obviously since we're doing 60% glam the majority of the large items are glam, glam mirror glam slipper chairs we're bringing in then we also about 30 percent bohemian so we've got a little bit of jute in the rug, right? it's still the pale blue, but there's some of that natural texture the light looks great oh my gosh, you did so much in here the walls look great. the chandelier looks great. that's so much better alright, so let's finish bringing in the big items. so we got the chairs to finish this conversation area. yeah these slipper chairs are great for studio apartment dwellers because they don't have the the arms they're easy to move around

yeah, you know you can easily access them from all sides think we're getting our split in here. really well great, right. yeah, let's work on the bed. okay. so what is this? oh good it's laying flat a welcome mat or something. no no, it's just a little 36 inch rug, but i thought it was such a cool shape for the wall so all i did was hot glue on those flowers creating just kind of like a bohemian moment but like see the jute with then the wicker headboard, that's like definitely 30 percent bohemian but the shape of the headboard is very classically glam yeah, no, joey

let's take a moment guys acknowledge the beautiful okay, he's also acknowledging himself the beautiful curtain hanging perfectly puddled in a glam puddle. i mean, this is great. i don't i can retire can i retire? no you're gonna be you're gonna continue. i'm just gonna facetime you i think those shelves turned out really cool no, they turned out so well this is a very much a bohemian moment right guys, because obviously the rope is a more natural element. it's a little more free so we've got the 30% bohemian and then the accent of pink which is one of our action colors how did you you hung these? well, the joists in the ceiling go the wrong way for me to hang it from studs

so i just like decoratively hung them from the ceiling but really i put them on shelf brackets oh well that's a good tip yeah, so if you guys want that kind of bohemian look with the rope shelves but you're worried about your ceiling you could just use really light hooks, but then actually secure them with some l-bracket. all right. so this is another big piece here the bench is a great thing in a studio apartment, too because it just like grounds the bed but also gives her another seating option in here all the stuff looks great. joey high five high five. oh, you just stuck that inside your shoe, and then high-five me all right. so final touches? yes

okay guys, so i have all of my aesthetic touches here around me now these are the final touches that make the room really have that personality and the voice obviously, we have all the bigger items really establishing our glam and our bohemian and a little bit of vintage eclectic so throw pillows, obviously you guys know i love throw pillows. i have velvet here so when you're doing a glam room you want some really beautiful textures and velvet is one of those metallics that is just very luxurious and glam looking so i've got these gold velvet ones this blue velvet one that's bringing in a different shade of our pale blue it's kind of more of a crushed velvet and then she also loves the furry kind of texture so i've got this furry little kind of half throw

thinking maybe this could go over the back of the couch and then i've got some cool things over here look at this pineapple lamp you guys. oh my gosh. this is kind of like all of our styles combined we have the touch of gold the accent color, which is glam we've got the pineapple shape which is totally vintage eclectic very much like a vintage reference and then we've got this beautiful pedestal gold little side table and then i'm so excited about this board here. so the whole idea with this obviously is justifying this door. she doesn't use it but using it more as a frame for this canvas that can become her inspiration board

so we're bringing in our accent color our like pale pink and then i printed out some more of those gorgeous photos of her hello, hello like stunning and you know, i mean she doesn't always have to have photos of herself on the inspiration board but she is a model so imagine she'll be able to pull magazine tears print out pictures of photoshoots that she likes that she wants to do more of and really brainstorm for her future photoshoot she can do with friends photographer friends and also video shoots and stuff so just having a visual board is a really nice thing and it can also look really cool and then i've also got all of my pens and my drawing paper

i think i might do maybe some quotes maybe some little sketches of like a dress or something like that you know bringing in the glam white flag white flag truth truth the truth flag i'm gonna level these shelves more yeah, go level out a little bit. so we have our beautiful bedding here and obviously i really am taking liberties with the color blue. so the bedding is gorgeous i think having a monochromatic feel throughout the space really unifies it and let me just point out that we have this little side table here like we really do not have a ton of room obviously because this is a studio but just having something like a side table next to your bed. just makes it feel more established like a bedroom area. it's got our accent colors of the pale pink and the gold i just need a lamp

this lamp is great i like that we have this shape it's a little bit different than the pineapple lamp with the shade i always like changing up the lamps if you have multiple lamps in a space and they're in different areas have one with a shade maybe one with the globe and then i love also playing with some different shapes of pillows this is a super glam looking pillow, right? it's also kind of vintage eclectic because it's like that old-school look, it's both in a pillow. so we also have this nice dust ruffle here and this is really helping create a glam look, but we didn't have to spend money on a new bed she already had that bed frame, but you remember it was black. so this is great

this is a really easy and inexpensive way to update the style of your bed bedding looks good. yeah greenery steam it a little bit oh perfect. like right here. yeah. yeah, i think by the window it'll be happy you know, i like a plant moment new shoes, huh? thank you, are we done? no that's bare shelves geez la weezy all right guys, so in a studio apartment having a shelf is really nice

obviously we're using the vertical space here of the wall this will just give her an area to collect some items as she lives here in la. she's a new transplant so, you know, she only has these what candelabras to begin with that she got it in one of our favorite thrift stores but i've also brought in some other cute things. i found these shoes in her closet in a studio apartment also having things like shelves function for other items like clothing items if you're able to display them in a cool way where it looks chic and part of the space it also is space-saving and helpful if you don't have as big of a closet as she has but she does have a great

sized closet in here, but let's see how these look done joey joey joey come in here. what do you think? looks so good. i just realized how much we kind of matched the room. i mean it's always so convenient, isn't it? shall we bring her in? um, yes, i think we're ready i feel like it's so kind of european vibes in here - yeah definitely feels like. maybe we'll call it amsterdam yeah, it's like if you're like staying at a cute bed-and-breakfast on the afternoon canals wanna go. let's go back to amsterdam. maybe we just ask her if we can crash here sometimes

we could just send her back to the hotel surprise, here's your new place we're taking it. let's go get her, let's bring her in my gosh, i can feel your like shaking your so nervous my heart's gonna explode alright count to three? one....two...three! oh my god! oh my god are you gonna faint? are you okay?

oh my god guys this is cute i love it, i love it, i love it obviously you said your favorite color with the beautiful muted blue the pale blue is now kind of enveloping you almost like parisian vibe in here and we've got the glam. we've got the glam of the velvet the furry tone it's a little more pulled together than what it was before i love it so much

a little bit? a lotta bit it's so good this is so good, we diy this mirror a beautiful glam mirror for you the shelves are a diy so this is your mood board ideas, you know when your brainstorming your photoshoots your videos or whatever your creative weirdness you can do it here and then we did what you wanted to do right? oh my god, i have to take it in, yea take it in. this is crazy some nice luxurious curtains

florida ceiling curtains i can't believe it. obviously your bedding has upgraded a little yes. yeah a bench there a new chandelier do you love that? that's the glam right there. that's a diy too so that's a bit of a bohemian right? also we gotta show you your pictures and your new website let's sit down and see it so you have your portfolio here so like when you're booking gigs you can send it about that was a picture that we took in amsterdam. i mean you can edit that

thank you! you got a room, you got a website. i'm fresh here we come los angeles. you are fresh! shizen wong fresh, i'm ready to conquer the world now thank you so much no, thanks for being a creative weirdo. yeah. you're a pleasure this was meant to be i'm so glad we got to work with you and i hope that this is your aesthetic is this your aesthetic? yes, this is my aesthetic yeah success aesthetically

what if the staple just like misses and it goes shooting through the air? well, that's why we have these cool glasses on the heck is going on down there? can't wait to decorate. there's so much we can make. how will it turn out? omg we're coming over! open up we're here. okay, you're yelling like so loud. oh my gosh. we are back. we are back with another omg waco. i am so excited. i'm always so excited for these videos. you guys always say you want more joey, right? oh my gosh! we got double joey today. we are at joey graceffa and daniel preda's house. they're boyfriends. they're moving in to this new house, but we're focusing on joey today because we are doing his gaming room. hi, i'm joey graceffa.

my channel right now is kind of like a variety of all sorts of things, daily vlogs, music videos web series, anything i really want to do i kind of just do on my channel. joey's style is so much fun. he's into like the fantasy of life. he loves like enchanted forest vibes like fairy vibes, fairytale vibes—so it's gonna be epic. we're not holding back. this is a gonna be a bold room you guys. kate's actually a little nervous about this one. we were just talking about it. but i said you know what? you just gotta go big. i'm always nervous because i go bold and it's like we're always doing new and different things. so my main goal is make sure that whoever we're decorating for is happy. so i just want him to be happy. subscribe and thumbs up the video. go check out joey's channel, but wait until the video's over, let us know what you think in the comments. yeah, let's go. hey guys, before we get into the designing,

i want to quickly tell you about today's sponsor the elements sonic toothbrush. the package comes with a sanitizing charging base, the toothbrush base, two brush heads and one interdental brush head that are all made of the highest quality dupont bristles. this thing blasts away plaque at 40,000 brushstrokes per minute and gently polishes your teeth for a whiter brighter smile with four modes: clean, soft, whiten, and massage. they've also taken the design into consideration, thank you! because it's minimal and chic with its white and metallic colors, and it fits in well with any bathroom decor. one of the big reasons i really love this brush is because it comes with a 30 second alert that tells you to change to a different area in your

mouth and a two minute smart auto timer which makes it easy to meet the dentist recommended brushing time without having to think about it. the other big reason i love this brush is because toothbrushes can get really dirty and germy over time— i mean look at joey's grody brush. ew. but the element sonic toothbrush comes with a lab tested uv sanitizing charging base that kills germs and bacteria in between uses and keeps your brush charged. and finally the best reason of all: i have a discount code for you guys to get 44% off, so you all can have one too

just go to dazzlepro.com slash mksonic or use the code mksonic during checkout i've been using it and i can really see the difference it's made in my smile, can you? so now that we all have sparkling white teeth and fresh breath. let's get to designing joey graceffa's enchanted room. shall we? empty room! is that a good thing or a bad thing? no it's great. you got more of that stuff here? what? this stuff. my hair? no, like the color? the bleach? two joeys? yeah! have you ever dyed your hair? no. why? i feel like especially with her. you would—had do like some crazy color. i think before this video is done, i think i should dye my hair and learn how to play video games. yes.

yeah you guys can just like trade places. also getting confused by the 'joey' name. yeah, i know yeah, i know, you guys just call me josã© today. mr. kate, joey graceffa, and josã©! so you're moving, in like you're like actively moving into this place. so the great thing about us being here is we'll just be able to set this up for you. so we're currently in my new home. i'm not even moved in at this point right now. and this is a room where you're gonna spend a lot of time.

yeah, it's my favorite room, in my last house i had oh! that's a lot of pressure—"it's my favorite room." it's not even done yet! well, i don't know. it's just a place that i spend a lot of time. it's where i game, it's where i'll just like relax and hang out. this room is about his gaming. i have a gaming channel as well. so i, record a lot of minecraft and other video games. so it's just like a place that i can record with the cool backdrop. and also just a nice place to just go to and relax.

and i love that you're into mysticism. i mean, like you're into crystals. like i was trying to think about how to describe your style. i've just always been connected to like mystical, magical types of fantasy stuff. joey sent me some inspiration photos of rooms that were kind of a mix of bohemian with like crystals and feathers and macrame hanging plants, but then also a lot of like fanciful, mystical, enchanted looking things. i don't think i've ever created like—an enchanted forest, mystical thing. it's gonna be awesome. also a little birdie told me that you come from a family who dabbles in construction stuff, or something like that. and now you're pretty handy.

my dad is a carpenter, so growing up i was always on location with and working. and when i was younger i actually wanted to be a carpenter because i—i don't know i like being creative and fun with my hands. okay wait—i have something i found. i found these in your box downstairs—your crowns, you know what these are. what are they? crowns. i know but like—joey.. what do you mean? what are these? i can't believe she found those crowns. those are from so long ago. these are the most amazing things ever. so we need some crown

mystical power to set our intentions for this space. this is a space joey's gonna be spending a lot of time in. where he can feel the magic, see the magic. we're gonna create magic. is that good? oh, okay! you're knighting us?! the power of joeys! alright, let's go paint. alright, power of the joey. the big moment! okay, so we have to paint in here because, as nice as these colors, you know the gray and the white. we need to create a fantasy sanctuary in here. yes i agree

so on that note what color, would you think, we're gonna paint? well probably like a bright orange. hot pink? no? maybe! i mean... we have every color in the truck. so we could always switch, you know. i, maybe like a blue-green type of earthy. so i'm very excited to find out what this color is going to be.

i have something in mind that i'm hoping it's going to be so i guess we're about to find out. drama, fantasy, enchantment. oh my god, i'm obsessed. i, was envisioning that color exactly! oh, have you ever tasted it? it's an old trick that my dad taught me you have to taste the paint first. shut up! no, you're lying! ready? yeah! 'gorgina'!

'regina?' 'gorgina', joey. when i was in high school, i was obsessed with the british flag and just everything british. so, i actually painted one of my entire walls the british flag. i painted marilyn monroe on my closet door. i was in high school. you painted marilyn monroe's house. oh my god.. i'm actually 90 years old. i can't believe you're her designer. because you have more experience—than most. oh my gosh. what have i signed myself up for?

i think we should go do some carpentry stuff together. oh. okay. are you down with that? i am down. we can leave kate to paint. it would be the best thing ever. i always get left to paint. wait, what? oh my gosh, i'm getting left to paint. alright, it's okay. you know what? it's fine. it's fine. i have painted many a room. okay? we come back, your hairs green. yeah.

i did it! joey's out. alright, let's go. i can be kate-two-roles. no, i'm gonna come up with a better name for myself. just you wait. we have joey two roles. what shall my name be? now i'm barefoot. kate, the barefoot paintessa. i've got my brush. i've got my roller. i've got my dance music playing in my head. all right, so project time. okay. it's three feet by five feet. okay. we're gonna frame this right? all right. so joey and joey are building the frame for what will be our moss,

wonderland, crystal display. it's a long title. all right, guys, this is crafting with joey's all right so we got all of our trim pieces cut with 45-degree angles so we can make a square frame and we're just going to use some wood glue and a staple gun so everything's going great. i'm cutting the pieces of wood so good...and then disaster strikes. you're gonna go under right, you can like right about here on the edge

what if the staple just like misses and it goes shooting through the air. well, that's why we have these cool glasses on. what about my pretty face? it's a staple gun. what the heck is going on down there whoa, hey, where did joe the carpenter go? did i do it? no. did nothing come out? no, it did but it didn't go in all the way cause you weren't giving it enough pressure. oh my god!

you're crazy. i feel like we should flip it over and shoot down not up. okay, joey z is like torturing joey g. must paint faster. must save small joey g. so the product is to make this a little bit more rough-hewn and look a little bit more like something you just pulled off a tree. so i wanted to turn this piece of wood into a live edge type piece, where he's just gonna take the jigsaw and kind of rough up the edges. and then we'll go over with the sander and make it round. so you do that. i'm gonna go stain the frame.

he says he's gonna leave me here with the power tool. got it. have fun go on. is that okay? yep. okay okay are you having too much fun in here? i'm the 'barefoot paintessa. ' it's looking good. you know, i'm killing it so far. i came bearing gifts. all right, so, not only are we doing this beautiful, dark, greeny teal paint, but we also have wallpaper. how gorgeous. i think it's upside down. cause the plants are growing up the wall, yes.

the other thing we're doing to this room is they have— a pretty basic chandelier that we're gonna replace with something a little more artsy, a little bit more whimsical. the turquoise, chandelier! we want to keep that kind of bohemian feeling as well, so this wood-beaded chandelier is perfect. she's the paint tessa. that's actually really heavy. ow, i like the crowns better. alright, go save joey he's wondering what's going on. are you okay? i heard you screaming. girl, he had me shooting a gun. a real gun. i almost poked my eye out.

oh my gosh. joey, i need a 'joey' replacement. are you available? i'm available! because obviously the other ones off his rocker. this is why i need to be the one taking people out for diy projects, because i don't incite terrifying screams. now you're here with me. yes, and i see glue guns. that, i can do. that's that's the gun. no power tools. but let's just talk about how great this looks. whatever blood you shed was worth it because this is now amazing looking. so you don't know what this is yet? well, i'm taking context clues from what's around and i see my babies over there. your babies and i know this isn't even all of them

so you guys might not know this but joey g, joey graceffa has an obsession with crystals. and they just somehow connect with me and they're just so pretty and they all have different properties so i became kind of like a collector and it's like i need to have every single type of crystal but really only the pretty crystals because i don't know i just like pretty things. so i came up with this idea kind of like a

wall-mounted 3d art piece that will give us some different ledges and areas to display some of joey's crystals, but that's not all we have oh yes, right so the idea this is just like fill in all of this with moss right, and we're going to hot glue them all over the back of this brain area okay, so this is what i'm thinking with these okay, so these are remote-operated

twinkle lights, right? so just kind of like thread them here. just creating a little pocket with the moss and resting the battery pack in the pocket and then, you know covering it with some excess moss but it's easily accessible so that they can change the batteries when they need to but then the amazing thing is we have a remote so i think this might be the moment to say good bye no! until the big reveal! bye. joey! i guess i'll see you guys later i'm nervous! but also very excited

joey okay, come on come on out. i'm the lion the witch in the wardrobe wow so you guys have seen me use manzanita branches before and decorating i love them they're the beautiful dried branches usually gets sandblasted so they're kind of that lighter wood. look. i mean it said they were seven feet tall, but these things are like 12 feet tall how do i get it into the pot? oh no, we should do this outside we can't do it outside these things weigh so much and then we're adding something which is gonna make another 60 pounds on it

so the whole thing with these branches they have to stand up like trees and if we couldn't make them any heavier we're going to put them in the pots with a quick-setting cement it really hope that they like these because i don't know how they're gonna get these downstairs and out of the house if they don't like them keep holding. no you keep holding! so dusty, so he's using this quick-set concrete which is the type of concrete that you used to set? wood post like if you're building a fence, we're pouring it in adding water and doing it in different layers so look at how stable it is

until it falls over. guys, we just like wing it with a lot of this stuff like i have these ideas and joey's like we could do it like this and we're like ok and then we're trying it real time with you. so fingers crossed that these trees keep standing okay, go do stuff you gonna do stuff. okay, great well, don't leave a manzanita. unattended stay with it for 20 minutes. it's good. it's secure it's that great okay, the wall paper's going up. it looks so good. of course with this type of wallpaper you just have to make sure that you're matching the patterns making sure that the seams are overlapping slightly and then using a nice sharp blade to slice so we're motoring along with that because i mean guys

we have a lot to do still watch the chandelier got it this cement trick worked well. i know, these are so rock solid this is literally the heaviest thing ever. so we're placing the manzanita trees just kind of like where they are because the paint's still drawing on the windows i don't want to hang the curtains yet, but they're going to go on either side of the desk alright, so between the trees is where his gaming station is gonna be we're gonna have his desk with this computer stuff and behind it we're gonna put this really cool almost like a magical mercury glass mirror it's got like the mercury glass effect, but with colors and this is his portal to another land ah, man that is so cool!

right, when he plays video games. it's kind of like his portal into another land anyways yeah, i am so excited about this rug cuddle time! i don't think we've ever rug cuddled in an enchanted forest room before you guys this is a first and i'm so feeling the vibe the rug has a more geometric shape to it which is a nice contrast because we have such a wavy shape going on in the wallpaper with the leaves and the vines. yay so we're gonna bring in the couch yea wow

this is amazing this is a queen's couch. this thing is tucked in low sleek. it's got bolster pillows. we're going very fanciful, we've got our stump tables next to the couch. we are putting some really nice old trees this couch needs a king and queen moment. it's too gorgeous. it's emerald green. i'm like in the emerald city i'm like having a wizard of oz moment right now. where's my crown? that's no this is right why does the queen one so much better? because the queen's better. you look great in that small crown thank you very much. thank you what are we thanking them for? you're welcome. we're not thanking them

wait, my crown's gonna fall off as if the wallpaper wasn't cool enough we were gonna turn that wall into an awesome feature wall with our artwork that we made and some cool wall sconces so now i just get to style these crystals on these ledges so i'm just placing some of the larger crystals on the bigger ledges where the stumps are and then some smaller crystals along the smaller ledge and it looks really magical above these side tables were up. it's a really cool brushed brass swingarm sconces that are just going to continue to bring in those luxe vibes it's like we have so much wood and forestry in here that to have some metals now coming in

it's really starting to make it feel like the king's lair the cubbyholes that are at the bottom of this bench are really cool. it's such a fun styling moment so i found these cool old trunks that are set i also got him some new stuff like some vintage books or they look like vintage books, but they're actually like little storage boxes. i just have to tell you guys joey's crystal collection is one of the most beautiful things i've ever seen so i'm placing a big giant crystal down on the lower tier of the coffee table. it has a glass panel on the top so you can kind of see down into the crystal and then on top i'm facing one of joey's favorite crystals

it's this beautiful like slice of a crystal. it's iridescent. it almost looks like a continent i think this is how this works its fine this is his mic that he talks into while he games. oh talking to it. hello? okay, this gaming setup is epic. like i am not a gamer guy so joey's gonna have to come in here and like get it all set up the way he likes it so they have that sort of catledge above the built-in cabinets that we're gonna really embrace and we're gonna further bring in nature some of the inspiration images that joey sent me have birch wood in it birch trees, etc. so i found this amazing birch tree branch, and i asked joey if he could hang it across the window hanging plants...which ones the heavier one this is a heavier one go on that side. and then this one could go on this side wow

then will you hang this one too like i also have this beautiful prism that's joey and daniel's i think a friend need for them. oh it's so magical! it's his cat perch okay final touches, ready? get in this thing. no, no no joey. this is the magical key to enter the magical enchanted office. no gaming room okay, so this key is gigantic and it needs to go on the front of joey's door right, so i think right there and so anyone who passes in this hall knows something's up in this room but they must have the key

it looks so dreamy in here you guys i cannot wait for joey to see it. i'm so nervous i always get nervous before these reveals because i just really want him to love it. okay, i guess it's time now all right, go ahead and go in your room you can open. yeah. oh i love that already oh my gosh! oh, i don't even know where to begin i feel like i just literally walk into like a completely different world. oh good that's the goal! this really feels like some sort of like magical little like lair no your magical lair, it is my magical lair wow, i am obsessed with this print right i saw that i was like that's you because it had all those colors it's like

forest but then it's like almost like psychedelic ya right, and there's something we made that's so gorgeous joe the carpenter yes, they're everywhere i put them all. that chest, oh my gosh and the little stepstool—and oh my god the perch, i'm gonna be up there like all day every day. and that is like the prime instagram spot right there. like i can not wait for you with a crown up there. and then that mirror, holy crap. it looks like a crystal. i was thinking it's kind of like your portal to another land—yes!— cause when you're playing your games like that's when you're like transported. yes. and how about—? those trees? holy crap. it just like is the center focus of just like 'bam! wow.' those things are like 150 pounds. they're like insane. oh gosh. yeah we were like really wrestling with them. we planted them in concrete.

i love the fact that like the paneling is like a color. it's just feels very rich and like—i don't know—very strong. exactly! the new, epic chandelier. oh my gosh yes! wow that's gorgeous. with the turquoise. i didn't want to go crystal with the chandelier cause you have so many crystals in here. right. i just like the more earthy—a little bit more boho. the little, like—mushroom! mushroom! guys... all the nature—look check out your side tables too. gosh it's like a freaking tree trunk! and they're matching on the other side! and then—

well not matching cause they're organic, they're real. well—they're, of course. oh my gosh... this—i'm obsessed with. i love treasure chests. i know, i know. that was on your mood board. there's another one down there. you can like, you know, style and do and baskets for storage. i already have a vision—like 50 different instagram pictures and everything. is this what you wanted? yes, 5,000% you guys knocked it out of the park. i'm like—oh i'm so glad— i'm so happy! should we—should we bring in daniel to see it? yeah. oh my god, yes! i feel like you should be up there—up there, on the perch?—yeah. daniel get on in here!

i love my new office! wow—i don't think sooo—oh no, you made him a throne. yes! you just need to boost his ego a little more. hello.. wow...yeah, i know. this is my personal—this is my personal hell. and you've got all of those crystals in once place, now they're not everywhere in the room. i know! what do you think? this is insane. it's very joey, right, in here? i know this is only—no this is literally everything—supposed to be joey's sanctuary. joey made that. that's incredible. you're very talented. i had a little bit of help. just with the staple gun, that's all. that's all i needed help with. i'm very uncomfortable in your presence right now. here, here, join us!

no no no no, i need a wide shot for that. it's incredible. yeah, exactly. all right, well you guys, enjoy your—take a seat wherever—we'll leave you. yeah, we're gonna leave you. it's been amazing. and your chair is like the softest, fuzziest thing ever. isn't that so soft? it's better than your old chair, i think. absolutely. i'm just so happy that this happened. it's something that i've always wanted to have—a space like that and i'm so honored that mr. kate came and completely transformed this room and i just feel so lucky. you were great. you guy's did great, thank you. thank you! daniel, great to see you buddy. we're doing your room next. thank you so much. i'm so happy with everything. no, i'm so happy you're happy. i wish you guy's all the best in your new home. thank you.

this is joey g's kingdom. yes, joey g's kingdom. joey z, out. you set the bar high! daniel, come here. i wanna know what you think. what are your opinions? what i think? i'm so jealous. the room is 100% you. and i think it's the perfect place for you to go and write—maybe write another book, maybe write a movie, maybe another show. i love all these things! and i'm actually never stepping foot in that room again. it's too magical. it's too magical—and it's literally your dominion with the crowns and the castles and... i feel like a peasant there. so the peasants gonna leave, and you stay in your kingdom. daniel walk us out. bye!

this is the life. you know, honestly they set the bar for what the standard for the rest of our house is. yes, i have my work cut out for me. you sure do. my wig is flown. so every other room needs to be magical, mystical. perfect. okay? okay. can you do that? okay. got it. great! great! oh my gosh. oh, he loved it. that was such a cool design! thank you so much. thank you for all of your great moss. whoa, watch the lipstick, brah. i hope you loved that room. like what a wonderland. so many bold choices the wallpaper, the dark green, all the crystals everywhere...

it was such a fantasy and i'm so glad that he loves it. i wish him all the gaming happiness—happily ever after gaming, in that room. that room is dope. i want it. i know, and i'm glad daniel likes it too—i need a gaming room! you don't need—you don't game. i'm gonna start gaming. no. we don't have enough rooms! we don't have it—they have like so many rooms in this house, we don't have enough rooms in our house. guys guys, you can find me on the game networks. joey2worldgamez with a z. no that's not—guy's that's, that's a lie. don't look for that, don't waste your googling. um. but go check out joey's video on his channel, and obviously subscribe to joey. subscribe to daniel too while you're at it. daniel,

you know made his little cameo in here. he's amazing, go check him out. and um, yeah, subscribe to us. become a creative weirdo, part of the fam. we do all kinds of videos like this. and we'll see you on the next one. yeah love you. bye love you. we'll find out. i asked you before i ordered it... you asked me what? how many rolls to get based off your measurements. no, you asked me what my measurements were. you calculated how many rolls to get. no, i didn't. i never do—as a rule, i don't do any math... for these reasons.

the adventure of charles augustus milverton it is years since the incidents of which ispeak took place, and yet it is with diffidence that i allude to them. for a long time, even with the utmostdiscretion and reticence, it would have been impossible to make the facts public, but now the principal person concerned is beyond the reach of human law, and with due suppression the story may be told in suchfashion as to injure no one. it records an absolutely unique experiencein the career both of mr. sherlock holmes and of myself.

the reader will excuse me if i conceal thedate or any other fact by which he might trace the actual occurrence. we had been out for one of our eveningrambles, holmes and i, and had returned about six o'clock on a cold, frostywinter's evening. as holmes turned up the lamp the light fellupon a card on the table. he glanced at it, and then, with anejaculation of disgust, threw it on the floor. i picked it up and read:charles augustus milverton, appledore towers, hampstead.agent.

"who is he?" i asked."the worst man in london," holmes answered, as he sat down and stretched his legsbefore the fire. "is anything on the back of the card?" i turned it over."will call at 6:30--c.a.m.," i read. "hum!he's about due. do you feel a creeping, shrinkingsensation, watson, when you stand before the serpents in the zoo, and see theslithery, gliding, venomous creatures, with their deadly eyes and wicked, flattenedfaces?

well, that's how milverton impresses me. i've had to do with fifty murderers in mycareer, but the worst of them never gave me the repulsion which i have for this fellow. and yet i can't get out of doing businesswith him--indeed, he is here at my invitation.""but who is he?" "i'll tell you, watson. he is the king of all the blackmailers.heaven help the man, and still more the woman, whose secret and reputation comeinto the power of milverton! with a smiling face and a heart of marble,he will squeeze and squeeze until he has

drained them dry. the fellow is a genius in his way, andwould have made his mark in some more savoury trade. his method is as follows: he allows it tobe known that he is prepared to pay very high sums for letters which compromisepeople of wealth and position. he receives these wares not only fromtreacherous valets or maids, but frequently from genteel ruffians, who have gained theconfidence and affection of trusting women. he deals with no niggard hand. i happen to know that he paid seven hundredpounds to a footman for a note two lines in

length, and that the ruin of a noble familywas the result. everything which is in the market goes tomilverton, and there are hundreds in this great city who turn white at his name. no one knows where his grip may fall, forhe is far too rich and far too cunning to work from hand to mouth. he will hold a card back for years in orderto play it at the moment when the stake is best worth winning. i have said that he is the worst man inlondon, and i would ask you how could one compare the ruffian, who in hot bloodbludgeons his mate, with this man, who

methodically and at his leisure tortures the soul and wrings the nerves in order toadd to his already swollen money-bags?" i had seldom heard my friend speak withsuch intensity of feeling. "but surely," said i, "the fellow must bewithin the grasp of the law?" "technically, no doubt, but practicallynot. what would it profit a woman, for example,to get him a few months' imprisonment if her own ruin must immediately follow?his victims dare not hit back. if ever he blackmailed an innocent person, then indeed we should have him, but he is as cunning as the evil one.no, no, we must find other ways to fight

him." "and why is he here?""because an illustrious client has placed her piteous case in my hands.it is the lady eva blackwell, the most beautiful debutante of last season. she is to be married in a fortnight to theearl of dovercourt. this fiend has several imprudent letters--imprudent, watson, nothing worse--which were written to an impecunious young squirein the country. they would suffice to break off the match. milverton will send the letters to the earlunless a large sum of money is paid him.

i have been commissioned to meet him, and--to make the best terms i can." at that instant there was a clatter and arattle in the street below. looking down i saw a stately carriage andpair, the brilliant lamps gleaming on the glossy haunches of the noble chestnuts. a footman opened the door, and a small, stout man in a shaggy astrakhan overcoat descended.a minute later he was in the room. charles augustus milverton was a man offifty, with a large, intellectual head, a round, plump, hairless face, a perpetualfrozen smile, and two keen gray eyes, which gleamed brightly from behind broad, gold-rimmed glasses.

there was something of mr. pickwick'sbenevolence in his appearance, marred only by the insincerity of the fixed smile andby the hard glitter of those restless and penetrating eyes. his voice was as smooth and suave as hiscountenance, as he advanced with a plump little hand extended, murmuring his regretfor having missed us at his first visit. holmes disregarded the outstretched handand looked at him with a face of granite. milverton's smile broadened, he shruggedhis shoulders removed his overcoat, folded it with great deliberation over the back ofa chair, and then took a seat. "this gentleman?" said he, with a wave inmy direction.

"is it discreet?is it right?" " dr. watson is my friend and partner." "very good, mr. holmes.it is only in your client's interests that i protested.the matter is so very delicate----" " dr. watson has already heard of it." "then we can proceed to business.you say that you are acting for lady eva. has she empowered you to accept my terms?""what are your terms?" "seven thousand pounds." "and the alternative?""my dear sir, it is painful for me to

discuss it, but if the money is not paid onthe 14th, there certainly will be no marriage on the 18th." his insufferable smile was more complacentthan ever. holmes thought for a little."you appear to me," he said, at last, "to be taking matters too much for granted. i am, of course, familiar with the contentsof these letters. my client will certainly do what i mayadvise. i shall counsel her to tell her futurehusband the whole story and to trust to his generosity."milverton chuckled.

"you evidently do not know the earl," saidhe. from the baffled look upon holmes's face, icould see clearly that he did. "what harm is there in the letters?" heasked. "they are sprightly--very sprightly,"milverton answered. "the lady was a charming correspondent. but i can assure you that the earl ofdovercourt would fail to appreciate them. however, since you think otherwise, we willlet it rest at that. it is purely a matter of business. if you think that it is in the bestinterests of your client that these letters

should be placed in the hands of the earl, then you would indeed be foolish to pay so large a sum of money to regain them." he rose and seized his astrakhan coat.holmes was gray with anger and mortification."wait a little," he said. "you go too fast. we should certainly make every effort toavoid scandal in so delicate a matter." milverton relapsed into his chair."i was sure that you would see it in that light," he purred. "at the same time," holmes continued, "ladyeva is not a wealthy woman.

i assure you that two thousand pounds wouldbe a drain upon her resources, and that the sum you name is utterly beyond her power. i beg, therefore, that you will moderateyour demands, and that you will return the letters at the price i indicate, which is,i assure you, the highest that you can get." milverton's smile broadened and his eyestwinkled humorously. "i am aware that what you say is true aboutthe lady's resources," said he. "at the same time you must admit that theoccasion of a lady's marriage is a very suitable time for her friends and relativesto make some little effort upon her behalf.

they may hesitate as to an acceptablewedding present. let me assure them that this little bundleof letters would give more joy than all the candelabra and butter-dishes in london." "it is impossible," said holmes."dear me, dear me, how unfortunate!" cried milverton, taking out a bulky pocketbook."i cannot help thinking that ladies are ill-advised in not making an effort. look at this!"he held up a little note with a coat-of- arms upon the envelope. "that belongs to--well, perhaps it ishardly fair to tell the name until to-

morrow morning.but at that time it will be in the hands of the lady's husband. and all because she will not find abeggarly sum which she could get by turning her diamonds into paste.it is such a pity! now, you remember the sudden end of theengagement between the honourable miss miles and colonel dorking? only two days before the wedding, there wasa paragraph in the morning post to say that it was all off.and why? it is almost incredible, but the absurd sumof twelve hundred pounds would have settled

the whole question.is it not pitiful? and here i find you, a man of sense, boggling about terms, when your client's future and honour are at stake.you surprise me, mr. holmes." "what i say is true," holmes answered. "the money cannot be found.surely it is better for you to take the substantial sum which i offer than to ruinthis woman's career, which can profit you in no way?" "there you make a mistake, mr. holmes.an exposure would profit me indirectly to a considerable extent.i have eight or ten similar cases maturing.

if it was circulated among them that i hadmade a severe example of the lady eva, i should find all of them much more open toreason. you see my point?" holmes sprang from his chair."get behind him, watson! don't let him out!now, sir, let us see the contents of that notebook." milverton had glided as quick as a rat tothe side of the room and stood with his back against the wall. " mr. holmes, mr. holmes," he said, turning the front of his coat and

exhibiting the butt of a large revolver, which projected from the inside pocket. "i have been expecting you to do somethingoriginal. this has been done so often, and what goodhas ever come from it? i assure you that i am armed to the teeth, and i am perfectly prepared to use my weapons, knowing that the law will supportme. besides, your supposition that i wouldbring the letters here in a notebook is entirely mistaken.i would do nothing so foolish. and now, gentlemen, i have one or twolittle interviews this evening, and it is a long drive to hampstead."

he stepped forward, took up his coat, laidhis hand on his revolver, and turned to the door.i picked up a chair, but holmes shook his head, and i laid it down again. with bow, a smile, and a twinkle, milvertonwas out of the room, and a few moments after we heard the slam of the carriagedoor and the rattle of the wheels as he drove away. holmes sat motionless by the fire, hishands buried deep in his trouser pockets, his chin sunk upon his breast, his eyesfixed upon the glowing embers. for half an hour he was silent and still.

then, with the gesture of a man who hastaken his decision, he sprang to his feet and passed into his bedroom. a little later a rakish young workman, witha goatee beard and a swagger, lit his clay pipe at the lamp before descending into thestreet. "i'll be back some time, watson," said he,and vanished into the night. i understood that he had opened hiscampaign against charles augustus milverton, but i little dreamed the strangeshape which that campaign was destined to take. for some days holmes came and went at allhours in this attire, but beyond a remark

that his time was spent at hampstead, andthat it was not wasted, i knew nothing of what he was doing. at last, however, on a wild, tempestuousevening, when the wind screamed and rattled against the windows, he returned from hislast expedition, and having removed his disguise he sat before the fire and laughedheartily in his silent inward fashion. "you would not call me a marrying man, watson?" "no, indeed!" "you'll be interested to hear that i'mengaged." "my dear fellow!i congrat----"

"to milverton's housemaid." "good heavens, holmes!""i wanted information, watson." "surely you have gone too far?""it was a most necessary step. i am a plumber with a rising business, escott, by name. i have walked out with her each evening, and i have talked with her. good heavens, those talks! however, i have got all i wanted.i know milverton's house as i know the palm of my hand.""but the girl, holmes?" he shrugged his shoulders.

"you can't help it, my dear watson.you must play your cards as best you can when such a stake is on the table. however, i rejoice to say that i have ahated rival, who will certainly cut me out the instant that my back is turned.what a splendid night it is!" "you like this weather?" "it suits my purpose.watson, i mean to burgle milverton's house to-night." i had a catching of the breath, and my skinwent cold at the words, which were slowly uttered in a tone of concentratedresolution.

as a flash of lightning in the night showsup in an instant every detail of a wild landscape, so at one glance i seemed to seeevery possible result of such an action-- the detection, the capture, the honoured career ending in irreparable failure anddisgrace, my friend himself lying at the mercy of the odious milverton."for heaven's sake, holmes, think what you are doing," i cried. "my dear fellow, i have given it everyconsideration. i am never precipitate in my actions, norwould i adopt so energetic and, indeed, so dangerous a course, if any other werepossible.

let us look at the matter clearly andfairly. i suppose that you will admit that theaction is morally justifiable, though technically criminal. to burgle his house is no more than toforcibly take his pocketbook--an action in which you were prepared to aid me."i turned it over in my mind. "yes," i said, "it is morally justifiableso long as our object is to take no articles save those which are used for anillegal purpose." "exactly. since it is morally justifiable, i haveonly to consider the question of personal

risk. surely a gentleman should not lay muchstress upon this, when a lady is in most desperate need of his help?""you will be in such a false position." "well, that is part of the risk. there is no other possible way of regainingthese letters. the unfortunate lady has not the money, andthere are none of her people in whom she could confide. to-morrow is the last day of grace, andunless we can get the letters to-night, this villain will be as good as his wordand will bring about her ruin.

i must, therefore, abandon my client to herfate or i must play this last card. between ourselves, watson, it's a sportingduel between this fellow milverton and me. he had, as you saw, the best of the firstexchanges, but my self-respect and my reputation are concerned to fight it to afinish." "well, i don't like it, but i suppose itmust be," said i. "when do we start?""you are not coming." "then you are not going," said i. "i give you my word of honour--and i neverbroke it in my life--that i will take a cab straight to the police-station and give youaway, unless you let me share this

adventure with you." "you can't help me.""how do you know that? you can't tell what may happen.anyway, my resolution is taken. other people besides you have self-respect,and even reputations." holmes had looked annoyed, but his browcleared, and he clapped me on the shoulder. "well, well, my dear fellow, be it so. we have shared this same room for someyears, and it would be amusing if we ended by sharing the same cell. you know, watson, i don't mind confessingto you that i have always had an idea that

i would have made a highly efficientcriminal. this is the chance of my lifetime in thatdirection. see here!" he took a neat little leather case out of adrawer, and opening it he exhibited a number of shining instruments. "this is a first-class, up-to-date burglingkit, with nickel-plated jemmy, diamond- tipped glass-cutter, adaptable keys, andevery modern improvement which the march of civilization demands. here, too, is my dark lantern.everything is in order.

have you a pair of silent shoes?""i have rubber-soled tennis shoes." "excellent! and a mask?""i can make a couple out of black silk." "i can see that you have a strong, naturalturn for this sort of thing. very good, do you make the masks. we shall have some cold supper before westart. it is now nine-thirty.at eleven we shall drive as far as church row. it is a quarter of an hour's walk fromthere to appledore towers.

we shall be at work before midnight.milverton is a heavy sleeper, and retires punctually at ten-thirty. with any luck we should be back here bytwo, with the lady eva's letters in my pocket." holmes and i put on our dress-clothes, sothat we might appear to be two theatre- goers homeward bound.in oxford street we picked up a hansom and drove to an address in hampstead. here we paid off our cab, and with ourgreat coats buttoned up, for it was bitterly cold, and the wind seemed to blowthrough us, we walked along the edge of the

heath. "it's a business that needs delicatetreatment," said holmes. "these documents are contained in a safe inthe fellow's study, and the study is the ante-room of his bed-chamber. on the other hand, like all these stout, little men who do themselves well, he is a plethoric sleeper. agatha--that's my fiancee--says it is ajoke in the servants' hall that it's impossible to wake the master. he has a secretary who is devoted to hisinterests, and never budges from the study

all day.that's why we are going at night. then he has a beast of a dog which roamsthe garden. i met agatha late the last two evenings, and she locks the brute up so as to give me a clear run. this is the house, this big one in its owngrounds. through the gate--now to the right amongthe laurels. we might put on our masks here, i think. you see, there is not a glimmer of light inany of the windows, and everything is working splendidly."

with our black silk face-coverings, whichturned us into two of the most truculent figures in london, we stole up to thesilent, gloomy house. a sort of tiled veranda extended along oneside of it, lined by several windows and two doors."that's his bedroom," holmes whispered. "this door opens straight into the study. it would suit us best, but it is bolted aswell as locked, and we should make too much noise getting in.come round here. there's a greenhouse which opens into thedrawing-room." the place was locked, but holmes removed acircle of glass and turned the key from the

inside. an instant afterwards he had closed thedoor behind us, and we had become felons in the eyes of the law. the thick, warm air of the conservatory andthe rich, choking fragrance of exotic plants took us by the throat. he seized my hand in the darkness and ledme swiftly past banks of shrubs which brushed against our faces.holmes had remarkable powers, carefully cultivated, of seeing in the dark. still holding my hand in one of his, heopened a door, and i was vaguely conscious

that we had entered a large room in which acigar had been smoked not long before. he felt his way among the furniture, openedanother door, and closed it behind us. putting out my hand i felt several coatshanging from the wall, and i understood that i was in a passage. we passed along it and holmes very gentlyopened a door upon the right-hand side. something rushed out at us and my heartsprang into my mouth, but i could have laughed when i realized that it was thecat. a fire was burning in this new room, andagain the air was heavy with tobacco smoke. holmes entered on tiptoe, waited for me tofollow, and then very gently closed the

door. we were in milverton's study, and aportiere at the farther side showed the entrance to his bedroom.it was a good fire, and the room was illuminated by it. near the door i saw the gleam of anelectric switch, but it was unnecessary, even if it had been safe, to turn it on. at one side of the fireplace was a heavycurtain which covered the bay window we had seen from outside.on the other side was the door which communicated with the veranda.

a desk stood in the centre, with a turning-chair of shining red leather. opposite was a large bookcase, with amarble bust of athene on the top. in the corner, between the bookcase and thewall, there stood a tall, green safe, the firelight flashing back from the polishedbrass knobs upon its face. holmes stole across and looked at it. then he crept to the door of the bedroom, and stood with slanting head listening intently.no sound came from within. meanwhile it had struck me that it would bewise to secure our retreat through the outer door, so i examined it.to my amazement, it was neither locked nor

bolted. i touched holmes on the arm, and he turnedhis masked face in that direction. i saw him start, and he was evidently assurprised as i. "i don't like it," he whispered, puttinghis lips to my very ear. "i can't quite make it out.anyhow, we have no time to lose." "can i do anything?" "yes, stand by the door.if you hear anyone come, bolt it on the inside, and we can get away as we came. if they come the other way, we can getthrough the door if our job is done, or

hide behind these window curtains if it isnot. do you understand?" i nodded, and stood by the door. my first feeling of fear had passed away, and i thrilled now with a keener zest than i had ever enjoyed when we were thedefenders of the law instead of its defiers. the high object of our mission, theconsciousness that it was unselfish and chivalrous, the villainous character of ouropponent, all added to the sporting interest of the adventure.

far from feeling guilty, i rejoiced andexulted in our dangers. with a glow of admiration i watched holmesunrolling his case of instruments and choosing his tool with the calm, scientificaccuracy of a surgeon who performs a delicate operation. i knew that the opening of safes was aparticular hobby with him, and i understood the joy which it gave him to be confrontedwith this green and gold monster, the dragon which held in its maw thereputations of many fair ladies. turning up the cuffs of his dress-coat--hehad placed his overcoat on a chair--holmes laid out two drills, a jemmy, and severalskeleton keys.

i stood at the centre door with my eyesglancing at each of the others, ready for any emergency, though, indeed, my planswere somewhat vague as to what i should do if we were interrupted. for half an hour, holmes worked withconcentrated energy, laying down one tool, picking up another, handling each with thestrength and delicacy of the trained mechanic. finally i heard a click, the broad greendoor swung open, and inside i had a glimpse of a number of paper packets, each tied, sealed, and inscribed. holmes picked one out, but it was as hardto read by the flickering fire, and he drew

out his little dark lantern, for it was toodangerous, with milverton in the next room, to switch on the electric light. suddenly i saw him halt, listen intently, and then in an instant he had swung the door of the safe to, picked up his coat, stuffed his tools into the pockets, and darted behind the window curtain, motioningme to do the same. it was only when i had joined him therethat i heard what had alarmed his quicker senses. there was a noise somewhere within thehouse. a door slammed in the distance.

then a confused, dull murmur broke itselfinto the measured thud of heavy footsteps rapidly approaching.they were in the passage outside the room. they paused at the door. the door opened.there was a sharp snick as the electric light was turned on. the door closed once more, and the pungentreek of a strong cigar was borne to our nostrils. then the footsteps continued backward andforward, backward and forward, within a few yards of us.finally there was a creak from a chair, and

the footsteps ceased. then a key clicked in a lock, and i heardthe rustle of papers. so far i had not dared to look out, but nowi gently parted the division of the curtains in front of me and peeped through. from the pressure of holmes's shoulderagainst mine, i knew that he was sharing my observations. right in front of us, and almost within ourreach, was the broad, rounded back of milverton. it was evident that we had entirelymiscalculated his movements, that he had

never been to his bedroom, but that he hadbeen sitting up in some smoking or billiard room in the farther wing of the house, thewindows of which we had not seen. his broad, grizzled head, with its shiningpatch of baldness, was in the immediate foreground of our vision. he was leaning far back in the red leatherchair, his legs outstretched, a long, black cigar projecting at an angle from hismouth. he wore a semi-military smoking jacket,claret-coloured, with a black velvet collar. in his hand he held a long, legal documentwhich he was reading in an indolent

fashion, blowing rings of tobacco smokefrom his lips as he did so. there was no promise of a speedy departurein his composed bearing and his comfortable attitude. i felt holmes's hand steal into mine andgive me a reassuring shake, as if to say that the situation was within his powers, and that he was easy in his mind. i was not sure whether he had seen what wasonly too obvious from my position, that the door of the safe was imperfectly closed, and that milverton might at any moment observe it. in my own mind i had determined that if iwere sure, from the rigidity of his gaze,

that it had caught his eye, i would at oncespring out, throw my great coat over his head, pinion him, and leave the rest toholmes. but milverton never looked up. he was languidly interested by the papersin his hand, and page after page was turned as he followed the argument of the lawyer. at least, i thought, when he has finishedthe document and the cigar he will go to his room, but before he had reached the endof either, there came a remarkable development, which turned our thoughts intoquite another channel. several times i had observed that milvertonlooked at his watch, and once he had risen

and sat down again, with a gesture ofimpatience. the idea, however, that he might have anappointment at so strange an hour never occurred to me until a faint sound reachedmy ears from the veranda outside. milverton dropped his papers and sat rigidin his chair. the sound was repeated, and then there camea gentle tap at the door. milverton rose and opened it. "well," said he, curtly, "you are nearlyhalf an hour late." so this was the explanation of the unlockeddoor and of the nocturnal vigil of there was the gentle rustle of a woman'sdress.

i had closed the slit between the curtainsas milverton's face had turned in our direction, but now i ventured verycarefully to open it once more. he had resumed his seat, the cigar stillprojecting at an insolent angle from the corner of his mouth. in front of him, in the full glare of theelectric light, there stood a tall, slim, dark woman, a veil over her face, a mantledrawn round her chin. her breath came quick and fast, and everyinch of the lithe figure was quivering with strong emotion."well," said milverton, "you made me lose a good night's rest, my dear.

i hope you'll prove worth it.you couldn't come any other time--eh?" the woman shook her head."well, if you couldn't you couldn't. if the countess is a hard mistress, youhave your chance to get level with her now. bless the girl, what are you shiveringabout? that's right. pull yourself together.now, let us get down to business." he took a notebook from the drawer of hisdesk. "you say that you have five letters whichcompromise the countess d'albert. you want to sell them.i want to buy them.

so far so good. it only remains to fix a price.i should want to inspect the letters, of course.if they are really good specimens--great heavens, is it you?" the woman, without a word, had raised herveil and dropped the mantle from her chin. it was a dark, handsome, clear-cut facewhich confronted milverton--a face with a curved nose, strong, dark eyebrows shadinghard, glittering eyes, and a straight, thin-lipped mouth set in a dangerous smile. "it is i," she said, "the woman whose lifeyou have ruined."

milverton laughed, but fear vibrated in hisvoice. "you were so very obstinate," said he. "why did you drive me to such extremities?i assure you i wouldn't hurt a fly of my own accord, but every man has his business, and what was i to do? i put the price well within your means. you would not pay.""so you sent the letters to my husband, and he--the noblest gentleman that ever lived,a man whose boots i was never worthy to lace--he broke his gallant heart and died. you remember that last night, when i camethrough that door, i begged and prayed you

for mercy, and you laughed in my face asyou are trying to laugh now, only your coward heart cannot keep your lips fromtwitching. yes, you never thought to see me hereagain, but it was that night which taught me how i could meet you face to face, andalone. well, charles milverton, what have you tosay?" "don't imagine that you can bully me," saidhe, rising to his feet. "i have only to raise my voice and i couldcall my servants and have you arrested. but i will make allowance for your naturalanger. leave the room at once as you came, and iwill say no more."

the woman stood with her hand buried in herbosom, and the same deadly smile on her thin lips. "you will ruin no more lives as you haveruined mine. you will wring no more hearts as you wrungmine. i will free the world of a poisonous thing. take that, you hound--and that!--and that!--and that!" she had drawn a little gleaming revolver, and emptied barrel after barrel into milverton's body, the muzzle within twofeet of his shirt front. he shrank away and then fell forward uponthe table, coughing furiously and clawing

among the papers.then he staggered to his feet, received another shot, and rolled upon the floor. "you've done me," he cried, and lay still.the woman looked at him intently, and ground her heel into his upturned face.she looked again, but there was no sound or movement. i heard a sharp rustle, the night air blewinto the heated room, and the avenger was gone. no interference upon our part could havesaved the man from his fate, but, as the woman poured bullet after bullet intomilverton's shrinking body i was about to

spring out, when i felt holmes's cold, strong grasp upon my wrist. i understood the whole argument of thatfirm, restraining grip--that it was no affair of ours, that justice had overtakena villain, that we had our own duties and our own objects, which were not to be lostsight of. but hardly had the woman rushed from theroom when holmes, with swift, silent steps, was over at the other door. he turned the key in the lock.at the same instant we heard voices in the house and the sound of hurrying feet.the revolver shots had roused the household.

with perfect coolness holmes slipped acrossto the safe, filled his two arms with bundles of letters, and poured them allinto the fire. again and again he did it, until the safewas empty. someone turned the handle and beat upon theoutside of the door. holmes looked swiftly round. the letter which had been the messenger ofdeath for milverton lay, all mottled with his blood, upon the table.holmes tossed it in among the blazing papers. then he drew the key from the outer door, passed through after me, and locked it on

the outside."this way, watson," said he, "we can scale the garden wall in this direction." i could not have believed that an alarmcould have spread so swiftly. looking back, the huge house was one blazeof light. the front door was open, and figures wererushing down the drive. the whole garden was alive with people, andone fellow raised a view-halloa as we emerged from the veranda and followed hardat our heels. holmes seemed to know the groundsperfectly, and he threaded his way swiftly among a plantation of small trees, i closeat his heels, and our foremost pursuer

panting behind us. it was a six-foot wall which barred ourpath, but he sprang to the top and over. as i did the same i felt the hand of theman behind me grab at my ankle, but i kicked myself free and scrambled over agrass-strewn coping. i fell upon my face among some bushes, butholmes had me on my feet in an instant, and together we dashed away across the hugeexpanse of hampstead heath. we had run two miles, i suppose, beforeholmes at last halted and listened intently.all was absolute silence behind us. we had shaken off our pursuers and weresafe.

we had breakfasted and were smoking ourmorning pipe on the day after the remarkable experience which i haverecorded, when mr. lestrade, of scotland yard, very solemn and impressive, wasushered into our modest sitting-room. "good-morning, mr. holmes," said he;"good-morning. may i ask if you are very busy just now?" "not too busy to listen to you." "i thought that, perhaps, if you hadnothing particular on hand, you might care to assist us in a most remarkable case, which occurred only last night at hampstead."

"dear me!" said holmes."what was that?" "a murder--a most dramatic and remarkablemurder. i know how keen you are upon these things, and i would take it as a great favour if you would step down to appledore towers, and give us the benefit of your advice. it is no ordinary crime. we have had our eyes upon this mr.milverton for some time, and, between ourselves, he was a bit of a villain.he is known to have held papers which he used for blackmailing purposes. these papers have all been burned by themurderers.

no article of value was taken, as it isprobable that the criminals were men of good position, whose sole object was toprevent social exposure." "criminals?" said holmes. "plural?""yes, there were two of them. they were as nearly as possible capturedred-handed. we have their footmarks, we have theirdescription, it's ten to one that we trace them. the first fellow was a bit too active, butthe second was caught by the under- gardener, and only got away after astruggle.

he was a middle-sized, strongly built man--square jaw, thick neck, moustache, a mask over his eyes.""that's rather vague," said sherlock holmes. "my, it might be a description of watson!""it's true," said the inspector, with amusement."it might be a description of watson." "well, i'm afraid i can't help you, lestrade," said holmes. "the fact is that i knew this fellowmilverton, that i considered him one of the most dangerous men in london, and that ithink there are certain crimes which the law cannot touch, and which therefore, tosome extent, justify private revenge.

no, it's no use arguing.i have made up my mind. my sympathies are with the criminals ratherthan with the victim, and i will not handle this case." holmes had not said one word to me aboutthe tragedy which we had witnessed, but i observed all the morning that he was in hismost thoughtful mood, and he gave me the impression, from his vacant eyes and his abstracted manner, of a man who is strivingto recall something to his memory. we were in the middle of our lunch, when hesuddenly sprang to his feet. "by jove, watson, i've got it!" he cried.

"take your hat!come with me!" he hurried at his top speed down bakerstreet and along oxford street, until we had almost reached regent circus. here, on the left hand, there stands a shopwindow filled with photographs of the celebrities and beauties of the day. holmes's eyes fixed themselves upon one ofthem, and following his gaze i saw the picture of a regal and stately lady incourt dress, with a high diamond tiara upon her noble head. i looked at that delicately curved nose, atthe marked eyebrows, at the straight mouth,

and the strong little chin beneath it. then i caught my breath as i read the time-honoured title of the great nobleman and statesman whose wife she had been. my eyes met those of holmes, and he put hisfinger to his lips as we turned away from the window.

ohh okay, wow its a good size. this is your bedroom? it's my bedroom slash girls boss-room. ooh i like that okay oh i'm confused where's your bed. it's right there sometimes i sleep on the floor. did you just move in here. six months ago sometimes you sleep on the floor? yeah they say it's good to sleep it's good for your back my fell in to depression i was having negative thoughts about not being on this earth and very negative thoughts and and it wasn't until recently that i kind of understood that life or the universe or whatever you want to call it

was trying to do something for me wasn't trying to make it easy for me was trying to push me so that i could you know understand what was essential what i needed spiritually and so it kind of pushed me and it made me embrace the struggle. so you sleep on the floor what is this? when i first moved in here i was going for like a girl-boss like i wanted a big table. that is the biggest table that i've ever seen. i wanted people to come in have chairs there. you like prioritized the business side over sleeping .yeah. she is just starting from the beginning. she quit her job and she decided to spend her money on

camera equipment a desk for herself editing stuff. that is commitment. it didn't come out like how i wanted it so that's why i needed mr.kate what's going on on that wall? i wanted to get creative so one day i wanted to make like a little cloud in a sense and pin all my ideas ok well now that your saying it was a cloud i can see it. tell me about those pinatas. did you make those? yes so i wanted to invite all of like girls over here like my friends because i'm very about like empowering women specially. i was going to do like mainly like diy stuff and that was going to be part of it. you just need a space that you can feel inspired by and that can be functional for you to work but then also so you can get a good nights sleep yes. she's been through a lot. she's made the plunge to pursue her dreams it's a big deal.

and we're here to help her out. girl bosses! girl boss yess you were both girl bosses. would you pound me? come on let's finish that. we're gonna head back to our hotel we're gonna to check, we're staying at the ws in scottsdale. they put up the entire team which was awesome of them. game plan do some last minute shopping. start bright and early tomorrow team dinner in action we're a proud team and now we're going to go to the pool can i just say wow such an amazing day

tomorrow is gonna be crazy alright today is a day install day at jasets. i am so ready for this. that room needs so much help. this is a big giveaway time guys so we are going to spare no expense we have beige walls. they're very brown it's just not the most inspiring color. beautiful white and then we're going to have our gorgeous inspiring accent wall. paint, of course we gotta paint over that beige. jaset kinda likes that minimalist look. this is a

textured wall here huh? this is gonna be so great for filming for her too you know? she needs cool backdrops for her videos my bet is we can get this wall done in five minutes oh why does everything have to be like a competition? keeps you achieving. it keeps you achieving and it keeps me stressed. i think i might just have to take over this painting project. kate's going to tackle the painting job. go kate you got this i'm going to go hang curtains. i'm going to do my own version of kate two rolls, prrrrrr kates trying to joey two rolls. the art of double rolling your walls

it's an art guys it's not something you can just pick up. she thinks she can just pick it up. but i have two rollers and i'm kicking butt two rolls kate two rolls rollls you have to pronounce the l. kate two rollss lots of times you'll go in to rentals and they'll have vertical blinds. one thing i like to do is just take the vertical blinds down and you can put them in your closet. just remove them keep them under your bed or in a closet and then put them back up when you move easy-peasy and it looks so much better it's a really cool really high quality double rod

it's like a faux wood finish on metal we got 96 inch curtains. much higher than the window which is great because we wanted to bring the room up more. the sheers are linen it's like a loose weave linen it's actually kind of a unique choice to have a slightly darker shear than the outer curtain. this is a really cool look, which i've never done before in a space. usually the sheers are lighter and the curtains are darker, but this is just a beautiful textured look. really help if were like seven foot tall. i love the sheer with the velvet we are so loving up this room right now! so she has kind of a basic white ceiling fan. there's no light on it so i'm just going to swap that out we'll take the old blades off and put it in her closet so that way when she moves out she can have an electrician come out and put it back up alright so i'm just putting up this new sleek black fan that has a light as well so now it's like

multifunctional. art, really important to bring in some art i wrote out minimalism in cursive just all across the page which i know is something that she really identifies with and then we printed it nice and big and then we're just putting it up with these command strip clips so again not really damaging the wall. the other print i'm hanging on the wall is a photograph that i took in joshua tree. i just love that i could give her a photograph that i took during a moment of inspiration this is going to be the feature of the room obviously and this is removable wallpaper. so on her accent wall where she previously had this weird cloud we're gonna make it an awesome full with full height mural. we want to go like 2 inches at a time peeling the backing off

so that we're not trying to peel the entire back off ooh this is gonna be interesting great idea for a rental an adhesive wallpaper that whenever you want you can just take it off the wall line it up so that you're going level and then you take the backing off and then with a squeegee you're going to go ahead and press the removable wallpaper against the wall - so you don't get air bubbles. and then the next panel overlaps a couple inches. they actually print it that way so that you could overlap rather than trying to line it up straight on the edge it was a trial and error process you guys. we trialed we errored we succeeded. we are bringing her convertible luxury. so we have a day bed with a trundle. so she now has two places mmmm

a daybed has three sides to it essentially they're like couches so joey and i are placing this day bed in against the mural it's a nice dark charcoal color i didn't want it to stand out i really wanted the mural to be the star the trundle below is awesome we got some really comfy mattresses for both areas of sleeping. beautiful linen duvet cover duvet insert sheets underneath. the quilt that i'm placing on top which is a beautiful amber colored quilt throw pillows galore. this is going like centered. this is desk is so beautiful it's modern it has a beautiful lacquer top it slides open so you can store all the cables and stuff underneath so it just has a really clean look we're hooking her up

it's a nice silver 27-inch monitor for our boss girl obviously this desk is smaller than the desk that she had before so we're bringing in another table on the other side of the room. this piece is awesome because it's on wheels so she can even move this to the other side of the room if she wants to combine the two desk space or she could sit at her bed and put it in front of her there's a lot of options and we're also giving her these three beautiful filing cabinets that fit perfectly under this movable desk this is a fairtrade hand made rug. in the middle space we're going to give her a nice area rug. this is another great tip especially

for renters because you know you can't pull out your carpets and put in hardwood floors. speaking of the rug must do a rug cuddle oh my gosh, guys this is going to be the most celebratory rug cuddle ever ever ever. for our rug cuddle joey i'm gonna say something okay great. i just want us to take a moment and appreciate that we reached our goal of a million subscribers and that we were able to have this experience and treat jaset, whose a very special person, i know that this has been a quick process and that we've only been dating for nine weeks are you on the bachelorette right now? i really think that love can be found so quickly

joey that's jaset's rose kate's been binging the bachelorette and i saw this rose that jaset had out in her kitchen you wont take my rose? thank you for accepting my rose. oh a minimalist vibe would not be complete without a hanging bulb. this bulb is just like jaset's future dunked in gold plants, we gotta bring in a plant. you know i don't like to leave a room, stance plant in the corner a beautiful turned leg mid-century modern plant stance

i'm thrilled with the space but but it doesn't matter what ithink because this is jaset's room so we gotta bring her in here. ready? don't open your eyes until we say ok? so i'm walking in i can almost smell the color of the paint. keep your eyes closed and picture what your room looked like before now on the count of three open your eyes one two three oh my god i'm shaking honestly and just so excited, no way. the shaking is back she's shaking. i feel like she hasn't stopped shaking this whole weekend. i'm like gonna cry. it's okay you can cry i feel like i traveled through time to a different place because this is a girl boss room. we have some minimalism going on and some storage these are all on wheels so you can move them around.

for all your shooting and then this is a daybed it's amazing now i have a place to sleep. so you can leave the top dress as a couch or you could use the top as a bed. yeah and how epic is your new mural wall? this is amazing. we took your cloud as inspiration and then did a full wall. we got you a new monitor. we got you a new fan which has a light on it cuz your previous fan didn't have a light on it. it was kind of like just a generic fan these are like luxurious velvet curtains and linen shears we didn't hold back on getting you the nicest of the nice obviously because you're our giveaway winner i got to hang on one second one second so let's remember this right? so this was your top down

machine right? she figured out a way to make top downs work it was very crafty she took a clothes rack and a tripod and like taped them together. so this is how you do a proper top down so you got your stand then you got your top down and then this is the mount for your camera and then you can swivel it. you're legit. and then when you need to you know a beautiful ring light every beautiful youtuber person needs a beautiful ring light and then of course we couldn't not bring you some mr.kate so we brought you this necklace to celebrate your

and a hand-drawn art print right? yeah so i drew that and then that is a photo i took in joshua tree and i just love the like way that those trees grow it's very boss girl. you can sleep you can work this is what you needed right? exactly. i want to cry cuz i'm so happy they went above and beyond. thank you for being a subscriber you represent like all of our subscribers you know thank you for giving your best in this world and trying to make your dream come true. your dreams in the business world and your dreams at night this means a lot that we can do this for her you guys were part of this we all did this together. it feels so good that we were able to do this for her so thank you guys for getting us to this point. i also want to give you guys mr.kate

just a little sweaty i wrote kate and joey and the whole team a card because i'm so glad that they came over here and of course congratulate them because they reached over 1 million subscribers so yay we're gonna have a team dinner and celebrate because this is like a big deal for us too because like we've been working up to this and like it was a group effort yeah from the mr.kate team and family to you and to everyone out there. all of you. go enjoy your bed oh my god yes

guys, was that not such an amazing chaos. she's amazing yes you're amazing you all are amazing. our teams amazing. yeah. this whole thing is just amazing. thank you guys for making this possible and thank you guys for watching giving this video a thumbs up, comment let us know what you think of the room because jaset is so happy with it which of course is the main goal but we want you guys to like it too. and i just wish her so much love and luck in that space and and beyond. guys this may feel like it's like the end of a run but guess what? we might be doing an omg we're coming over with liza koshy whoaaaa so if you're not subscribed you better be subscribed

thanks again forrent.com for being an awesome sponsor and guys jaset is so amazing you have to go subscribe to her channel she makes and is going to make in that room amazing content so go subscribe go show her support her channel link will be down below. we love you all. we thank you all. do you know how much i love you? do you? yes actually i think i think do. do you know how much i love you? why would not accept my rose? bye everybody go enjoy your evening or morning whatever it is hey guys so it's been about a week since mr. kate

came and worked her magic here and honestly i feel like i haven't left the room since i mean i finally have a bed! and look at this wall i mean it's all so crazy. i just walk in here and it just feels so surreal and i'm so so grateful because now i'm able to sit in front of my computer feel super inspired. get a good night's rest and i'm just super excited for what's to come so thanks again mr.kate
