			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Baja Studios in Rosarito is home to many feature film productions and the film industry is growing steadily in Baja California. The <a title="San Diego Red" href="http://www.sandiegored.com/noticias/14638/More-than-2-000-extras-sought-for-Baja-movie/" target="_blank">San Diego Red</a> has posted news that a casting company is looking for more than 2,000 Caucasian and Asian extras for a movie that will be filmed in Baja California starting Aug. 29.</p>
<p>The movie’s plot involves a young man trying to return to his father during World War II.</p>
<p>Details of the film have not yet been disclosed.</p>
<p>According to Barbarella Casting, the extras should be white Anglo-Saxon from babies in arms to adults of both sexes; the Asians should be males only, 18 to 50 years old, with Japanese or dark-skinned Asian features. If chosen, extras would be paid $70 per day.</p>
<p>The casting begins July 16 and ends Aug. 3 at will take place at <a rel="nofollow" href="http://www.bajafilmstudios.com/site/location.html" target="_blank">Baja Studios</a>, on the Tijuana- Ensenada Highway, at Kilometer 32.8, Rosarito No. 22710.</p>
<p>The hours for casting are 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and from 4 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., except for Sundays.</p>

<p>Baja California aerospace business opportunities will be showcased at the Paris Air Show 2011 at the Le Brouget International Airport, on June 20th through the 26th. Representatives of Baja California, Mexico, led by the Governor and the Secretary of Economic Development, the Mayors of Mexicali and Tijuana as well as representatives from the Baja Aerospace Cluster, Tijuana EDC and Mexicali IDC, will be attending the prestigious trade show, to meet with global companies looking to expand their market in North America.</p>

<p>Guadalupe Valley is famous for some of the best vineyards in the world. <p>Protected by mountain ranges on three sides, which cup the Pacific’s breezes, the valley forms a microclimate perfect for growing wine grapes, along with olive trees and an abundance of other fruit crops. Today there are roughly two dozen wineries in the region, but wine has been produced here since the conquistadors introduced it in the 16th century. Perfect for a romantic getaway or a family vacation, this part of Baja offers you a number of choices for entertainment. If you choose to venture into the wine valleys, you can start from Tecate in the north, sampling the beer that bears the town’s name, the Cuauhtémoc brewery, founded more than 110 years ago, offers guided tours of their facility Monday through Saturdays, from there you can continue your journey south  by highway #3 which will take fist of all to the Tanamá Valley where Tanamá Wines awaits with its beautiful gardens; continue on and you will reach Valle de las Palmas, there you fill find the Cavas de Don Juan where you can stop by and visit their store which offers products such as grapes, honey, olives and olive oil. To the south of Las Palmas you will find the Guadalupe Valley, also known as Calafia Valley, home of the two largest wine producing houses in the country Casa Domecq and L.A. Cetto where you can sample award winning wines and enjoy a tour of the cellars and fields, this valley is also home to Monte Xanic, Chateau Camou, Adobe Guadalupe, Biyaboff with its Russian heritage, Baron Balche where you might just want to take a closer look at the sand by the caves, you’ll be surprised to discover you are standing on grape seeds. Continuing the route further to the southwest, San Antonio de las Minas Valley awaits with Casa de Piedra who offers a course on wine growing, Viña de Liceaga, Viñedos Lafarga, Vitivinícola Tres Valles, Vinisterra, one of the newly established wine makers in the region, all of which offer tours and sampling, some require reservations.</p>
