The Lulz Security group of rogue hackers is threatening to steal classified information from governments, banks and other high-ranking establishments, in what would be an escalation of its cyber attacks.
So far LulzSec's publicized assaults on Sony Corp, the CIA, News Corp's Fox TV and other targets have mostly resulted in temporary disruptions of some websites and the release of user credentials.
But now, LulzSec says it is teaming up with the Anonymous hacker activist group to cause more serious trouble.

"Government hacking is taking place right now, behind the scenes," LulzSec said on Monday in a message posted on Twitter, the microblogging site where the group has cultivated more than 240,000 followers.
U.S. government authorities, including the FBI, declined to comment on their efforts to combat LulzSec and Anonymous.

But in what could be a sign that cyber police are making progress toward shutting down LulzSec, British police said on Tuesday that they had arrested a 19-year-old man on suspicion that he was connected to attacks on Sony, the CIA and a British police unit that fights organized crime.
London police declined to say if the teenager was a member of LulzSec, but the hacking group said via Twitter that he had hosted one of its chatrooms on his computer server. The arrest comes after Spanish police earlier this month apprehended three men on suspicion they helped Anonymous

JUST FOR LAUGHS?

LulzSec had said last Friday that it hacks to have fun and to warn people that personal information is not safe in the hands of Internet companies. But two days later, LulzSec said its top priority was to leak "classified government information, including email spools and documentation."
LulzSec, whose hacks started to hit headlines last month, has published the email addresses and passwords of thousands of alleged subscribers to porn sites, it temporarily took down the public website of the CIA, and it published data from internal servers of the U.S. Senate.
Security experts who have researched LulzSec's origins say it emerged from Anonymous, which became famous for attacking the companies and institutions that oppose WikiLeaks and its founder, Julian Assange. Anonymous also attacked Sony and governments around the globe that it considered oppressive.

LulzSec's members are believed to be scattered around the world, collaborating via secret Internet chat rooms. Suspected leaders include hackers with the handles Kayla, Sabu and Topiary, security experts say.
Bruce Schneier, a security technologist who studies cyber attacks, said he believes LulzSec members are not hardened criminals but are "a bunch of guys who met in a chat room, plus everyone else who thinks it would be cool to take on that name."

"They're not going to do any damage. They're just out having fun ... they'll probably never be tracked down," he said.
The group's name is a combination of lulz, which is slang for laughs, and sec, which stands for security.
"You find it funny to watch havoc unfold, and we find it funny to cause it," LulzSec said in a statement posted on its website, www.lulzsecurity.com, last Friday to mark its 1,000th Tweet. "We release personal data so that equally evil people can entertain us with what they do with it."

JUST FOR LAUGHS?

LulzSec's new campaign to steal sensitive government data may signal that it is getting more ambitious.
But so far, LulzSec has not implied that it was looking to profit financially from hacks, nor has it acted as a gun for hire willing to break into any network for a price.
In fact LulzSec turned down a potential reward from a security firm, Berg & Berg, that had offered $10,000 to anyone who could change a picture on its website. LulzSec did it, and left a message to say the task was easy. "Keep your money, we do it for the lulz."

The group's unpredictable nature can make for interesting drama. It openly discusses whom it should attack, welcomes debates with its Twitter followers, and set up phone hotlines in Europe and the United States for people to call in with suggestions.
Last week, LulzSec bragged that it had shut down the websites of some video game companies, broken into the servers of others, and had stolen the personal data of about 200,000 players of the online video game Brink.

But when the group learned that other hackers had stolen data from Japanese video game developer Sega Corp, it offered to punish them in a message that suggested LulzSec leaders might be among the loyal fans of Sega's Dreamcast console, which was discontinued a decade ago.
"Sega - contact us," LulzSec said in its Tweet. "We want to help you destroy the hackers that attacked you. We love the Dreamcast, these people are going down.

FROM GERMANY TO THE BAHAMAS

LulzSec's has published reams of stolen data on its website, registered in the Bahamas, according to public records.
For a while, it conducted planning sessions using a secret chatroom known as a "Pirate Pad" that ran on a hacked server belonging to the German Pirate Party, according to a security investigator.
Authorities found that secret chatroom and shut it down last month by confiscating the server, said the investigator, who did not want to be identified as he was still trying to infiltrate the group by posing as a hacker.
Meanwhile, opponents of LulzSec released information last weekend that was allegedly taken from the group's computer system -- an embarrassing development given that LulzSec has said organizations with weak security deserve to be hacked.

A hacker group called Team Web Ninjas started a blog to expose LulzSec. It released what it said were logs of conversations from a private LulzSec chatroom and provided names of alleged leaders.
LulzSec's Tweets are sometimes funny, often sarcastic and occasionally laced with profanity. It recently claimed that some followers were able to use account data that it released on the Web to break into a Facebook account. The site has not commented on the matter.
"Watching somebody's Facebook picture turn into a penis and seeing their sister's shocked response is priceless," LulzSec said in one Friday Tweet. "This is the Internet, where we screw each other over for a jolt of satisfaction ... There are peons and lulz lizards; trolls and victims."

Good.food, learnto.salsa, glossy.lipstick -- people and companies will be able to set up a website with almost any address by the end of next year if they have a legitimate claim to the domain name and can pay a hefty fee.
The Internet body that oversees domain names voted on Monday to end restricting them to suffixes like .com or .gov and will receive applications for new names from January 12 next year with the first approvals likely by the end of 2012.
And they can be in any characters -- Cyrillic, Kanji or Devanagari for instance, for users of Russian, Japanese and Hindi.
"It's the biggest change I think we have seen on the Internet," Peter Dengate Thrush, chairman of the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN), told reporters.

"We have provided a platform for the next generation of creativity and inspiration."
Experts say corporations should be among the first to register, resulting in domain names ending in brands like .toyota, .apple or .coke.

The move is seen as a big opportunity for brands to gain more control over their online presence and send visitors more directly to parts of their sites -- and a danger for those who fail to take advantage.

Japanese electronics giant Canon, for instance, has already said it plans to apply for rights to use domain names ending with .canon.

The new gTLD, or generic top-level domain, program was approved by 13 votes to one with two abstentions by the board of ICANN at a meeting in Singapore.

The sole opposition came from a member who felt that more time was needed to hold discussions with government and others parties, ICANN officials said.

The new names could infringe on social and religious sensitivities, for instance if someone wanted to set up a .nazi domain, said Dengate Thrush.

And people who have invested in securing lucrative .com domains will find the value of the holdings diluted by the new rules, he added.

Thrashing out the rules and overcoming objections has taken years, ICANN officials said.

For instance, while the new steep charges of $185,000 to apply for a domain name could deter cyber-squatters, companies with well known trademarks worry that they may have to contend with series of copycat names like coke.paris or google.zambia.

ICANN hopes to weed these out in an intensive approval process that will take months, at the least, and also involve governments and other agencies.

"I think we've crossed the Rubicon," said Antony van Couvering, CEO of Top Level Domain Holdings Ltd.

"We were expecting it to happen some time in 2009," he said, adding that the change was also delayed by governments wanting to handle trademark issues in their own countries. "The process has been so lengthy that some people who wanted to do it are now either broke or disgusted."

Besides the $185,000 to apply, individuals or organizations will have to show a legitimate claim to the names they are buying. ICANN is taking on hundreds of consultants to whom it will outsource the job of adjudicating claims.

Today, just 22 gTLDs exist -- .com, .org and .info are a few examples -- plus about 250 country-level domains like .uk or .cn. After the change, several hundred new gTLDs are expected to come into existence.

As well as big brands, organizations such as cities or other communities are expected to apply.

GTLDs such as .nyc, .london or .food could provide opportunities for many smaller businesses to grab names no longer available at the .com level -- like bicycles.london or indian.food.

"It's the next expansion of the Internet, it's the future of the Internet," said Kieren McCarthy, the CEO of .Nxt,Inc, a San Francisco-based company which covers Internet policy and governance issues.

"I think our kids will think that we were crazy to always talk about .coms."

Twitter use strongest among US minority groups

African-American and Latino adults in the US who use the internet are twice as likely as whites to use the website Twitter, a survey has found.
The Pew Research Center, a Washington-based think tank, found that 13% of Latino and 18% of African-American adult internet users use Twitter.
Of all US adult internet users, 8% use the micro-blogging site, Pew found.
Minority groups visit the site more because they are younger and use mobile technology more often, the center said.

"Both of those groups, African-American and Latino adult internet users in the US, tend to be younger than white internet users, which helps to lead to their adoption of Twitter," said Senior Research Specialist Aaron Smith.

"Both of those groups are also very mobile populations in their use of cell phones in particular to access the web," he said, adding that "Twitter lends itself easily to mobile technology."
"Overall, non-whites are more likely than white cell phone owners to do a range of non-voice tasks on their cell phones - they are more likely to use instant messaging and social networking on their phones."

The study also suggested those who live in cities and were more likely to use the social networking site - which lets users post updates using up to 140 characters.
Twitter obsession

Researchers found that 25% of active Twitter users checked the service several times a day, with 2% saying they were extremely active.
As Americans spend more of their time online, social networking technology as a whole is growing and starting to replace activities individuals once performed in physical spaces, Mr Smith said.

The Pew researchers noted in the report that they focused on Twitter because the service was "one of the most popular online activities among tech enthusiasts and has become a widely used tool among analysts to study the conversations and interests of users, buzz about news, products or services".
Twitter was launched in July of 2006 and now claims tens of millions of users around the globe.
The Pew study - part of an initiative to explore technology in the US - surveyed 2,257 adult internet users.

Gmail looks to clear gmail clutter

Gmail users who feel swamped by a virtual flood of messages will get some help sorting them out. Priority Inbox, a feature designed to push a user's most important e-mails to the top of the inbox and leave them there, was scheduled to be rolled out at midnight ET Monday.
"We've been hearing from a lot of our most active users, people around the world, that they're overloaded by e-mail," Gmail product director Keith Coleman said. "They're getting more than they can usually handle with their filters and manual setups. "We wanted to give you a solution to this."
According to digital researchers the Radicati Group, the typical corporate computer user sends and receives about 110 e-mails every day.

More than 294 billion e-mails are sent every day, according to the group.Tuesday morning, Gmail users should see a red "New Features" link in their inbox that will let them enable Priority Inbox. Messages that appear in the priority box will initially be determined by an algorithm based on such as factors as the identity of the sender, key phrases in the message and whether the mail was sent to an individual or a large group.

For example, messages from a spouse or close family member may get ranked ahead of promotional e-mails from a web-based service the Gmail user signed up for. Coleman said that part of the system is similar to spam filters used by Google and other e-mail providers.
"It used to be people wanted to separate spam from not-spam," he said. "But now, the not-spam is of varying degrees of importance."
Users will then be able to further personalize their priority boxes, removing e-mails that have been automatically pushed there and adding others they'd like to prioritize.
"It will get better just as you use Gmail," Coleman said. "You can help it learn faster." The reworked inbox is one of several recent tweaks to Gmail.

Last week, Google announced that users would be able to integrate Google Voice into Gmail and make calls directly from their Gmail pages. More than 1 million calls were made using the service in its first day, according to Google.

This month, Google redesigned Gmail a bit, installing a more prominent "Compose Mail" button, among other changes. Also this month, Google extended to 30 seconds the amount of time a user, using Google Labs, has to recall a message that was sent accidentally.

Google Android surpasses iPhone

Google Android surpasses iPhone in U.S. Google's Android operating system edged out Apple's iPhone operating system for the No. 2 spot in the U.S. consumer smartphone market in the first quarter, research firm NPD Group reported Monday. According to NPD, devices running Android accounted for 28 percent of the units sold to U.S. consumers in the first quarter of 2010.
BlackBerry devices made by Research In Motion, which use RIM's homegrown operating system, took the top spot with 36 percent of the U.S. market. Apple's iPhone, which had been in the No. 2 spot previously, fell to third place with 21 percent of the market.
NPD's figures are based on self-reported consumer surveys and they estimate the number of devices sold to consumers. The figures do not include sales of devices to business customers through enterprise contracts. Android is an operating system that is available on several different models of phones made by different manufacturers, such as Motorola, HTC, and Samsung. Meanwhile, Apple's operating system is used only on Apple's own iPhone.

Verizon Wireless, in particular, has helped fuel success for the operating system. Verizon launched a major marketing campaign for devices, such as the Motorola Droid, last year. And Verizon, the largest U.S. wireless operator, has also been including Android devices in its buy-one-get-one free smartphone promotion.
T-Mobile USA also features Android phones as its flagship smartphones, and AT&T has begun selling Android phones.
"The wireless carriers in the U.S. are still the king makers in the mobile market," said Rubin. "Verizon in particular is what is making the Android so successful right now with its promotions and marketing."

Who responsible for sending spam

We all know about spam -- clogging up our inboxes with adverts for Viagra and too-good-to-be-true offers from renegade African diplomats. But who is actually responsible for sending it?
It might surprise many to hear that the number one source of spam is not Nigeria, or China, but the USA, according to a report released on April 28. The study by IT security and control firm Sophos lists the dirty dozen top spam-relaying nations and claims the USA is responsible for 13 percent of the global total, adding up to hundreds of millions of junk messages. India (7.3 percent), Brazil (6.8 percent), South Korea (4.8 percent) and Vietnam (3.4 percent) make up the top five.
China - often blamed for cybercrime by other countries - comes in at 15th place with responsibility for relaying just 1.9 percent of the world's spam. A similar study earlier this year by Computer security firm Symantec found that the majority of targeted malware -- malicious software that includes viruses, "Trojans" and "worms" - sent in March 2010 originated in the U.S. based on mail server location, at 36.6 percent.
It also placed London at number three in the list of cities sending out targeted malware attacks responsible for 14.8 per cent. (They named Shaoxing, China, as number one.) Spam is not just annoying, it is a serious problem for many businesses and responsible for a staggering 97 percent of all email received by business email servers, according to Sophos, putting both a strain on resources and wasting a huge amount of time.
But why is so much of it coming from developed western economies? Virtually all spam is sent from computers infected with malware (called bots, or zombies) that are then controlled by cybercriminals - called "botherders" - without the owners' knowledge. PCs can become part of a botnet in a number of ways, usually via email or the web. Often users click on malicious links posted within a spam message and unwittingly download malignant malware. "The UK and the U.S. rank near the top of many of these lists because such a large percentage of users are online with high speed connections to the Internet," Chet Wisniewski, Senior Security Advisor.
"Countries such as the USA would do well to remember that cleaning-up infected PCs in their own back yard will be an important step in fighting cybercrime," said Graham Cluley, senior technology consultant at Sophos, in a statement. The only way to reduce the risk of being compromised is to run anti-spam and anti-malware protection and ensure all software and hardware is up to date with security patches. "We have seen many high profile incidents in the last year with things like the Conficker worm and ZBot (Zeus) shutting down many government and corporate networks in the UK," said Wisniewski. "One of the problems is that many people focus on attacks from outside, and may not be looking at what they are sending out.
"Most businesses have focused on stopping things at the edge of their networks and preventing stuff from forcing its way in," said Wisniewski. "But in the interim the criminals are tricking users into requesting the malware from web sites which bypasses things like corporate firewalls and mail gateways.
"Government, businesses, and individuals all are responsible, and one of the problems is you wont know you are infected if you aren't running up to date anti-virus, yet you might think you are clean and wont get viruses. "I think the most important lesson for users is to be educated that malware and spam are very advanced criminal operations. You don't get infected only by viewing online pornography or gambling, it can happen anywhere. "We have seen everything from embassies to football clubs, from Walmart to the U.S. Army, have their web sites compromised with exploits and people must run proper security software on their PCs at all times.
"Organizations should be looking at not just traffic coming into their networks, but also going out." The prevalence of infected computers has led to a new mindset among some businesses who acknowledge a proportion of their clients and customers will inevitably be infected, yet they must continue to work with them, therefore they place greater emphasis on back-office systems that aim to spot the fraud associated with malware.
Ultimately though, we would be wise to remember the human aspect to all this -- and be prepared to check our own behavior online. "We all shouldn't forget that if no-one bought products sold via spam there would be a lot less incentive to send junk email," explained Cluley. "Computer users should not just protect their computers from threats like malware and spam, they should also pledge to never, ever buy anything advertised via spam."

Google moves China search to Hong Kong

Google moved its China Internet search service offshore to Hong Kong on Monday, in a bid to provide uncensored search results while still maintaining some business operations in the country. Google said traffic to its mainland Chinese search site google.cn is being redirected to google.com.hk, following unsuccessful talks with Beijing about operating an uncensored search engine in the country.
The move comes amid heightened tensions between China and the United States over a range issues from Internet freedom to the yuan exchange rate, from economic sanctions on Iran to U.S. weapons sales to Taiwan.
"The Chinese government has been crystal clear throughout our discussions that self-censorship is a non-negotiable legal requirement," Google said in a post on its official Web blog on Monday.
Google said that it intends to continue research and development work in China and maintain a sales presence there, though the size of the salesforce will be partly dependent on the ability of mainland Chinese users to access google.com.hk.
A former British colony, Hong Kong is a special administrative region of China and enjoys more freedom, including an uncensored Internet, than mainland China.

Google had flagged its intention to withdraw from China, the world's largest Internet market by users, in January when it said it had detected a sophisticated cyber attack on its computers that it traced to China.
Internet censorship has become a source of tension in Sino-U.S. ties, with Secretary of State Hillary Clinton calling in January for worldwide Internet freedoms and singling out China among a few other countries. Several U.S. senators formed a caucus to promote online freedom.
Google generates a small portion of its nearly $24 billion in annual revenue in China, where the company lags home-grown search powerhouse Baidu Inc in market share. But China represents an important growth opportunity for Google, which has seen its growth slow in mature markets like the United States and Western Europe.
Google said on Monday its decision to re-route traffic to an uncensored Hong Kong site in simplified Chinese that is specifically designed for users in mainland China is "entirely legal."

Spanish police arrest masterminds of 'massive' botnet

Spanish police have revealed that they have arrested three men responsible for one of the world's biggest networks of virus-infected computers. All are Spanish citizens with no criminal records and limited hacking skills. It is estimated that the so-called Mariposa botnet was made up of nearly 13 million computers in 190 countries. It included PCs inside more than half of Fortune 1000 companies and more than 40 major banks, investigators said. The criminals have so far only been identified by their internet names, netkairo, aged 31, johnyloleante, aged 30 and ostiator, 25.
Other arrests may follow, the investigators believe. The first member of the gang was arrested in early February, when he inadvertently logged into the network without disguising the address of his computer.
His computer linked investigators to two more suspects who were arrested later in the month. The botnet was being monitored and was rendered inactive in December, following a major investigation conducted by the FBI, the Spanish Guardia Civil and security experts around the world. The network of computers was designed to steal sensitive information, including usernames, passwords, banking credentials and credit card data, from social media sites and other online e-mail services. One of the arrested men had 800,000 pieces of personal data on his machine.
Some very high profile businesses were targeted. "It would be easier for me to provide a list of the Fortune 1000 companies that weren't compromised," said Christopher Davis, chief executive of security firm Defence Intelligence, one of the firms that was invited to join the Mariposa Working Group, which was set up to deal with the botnet in May 2009.
Panda Security was also in the group. Senior research advisor Pedro Bustamante said the criminals behind the botnet did not have "advanced hacking skills". "This is very alarming because it proves how sophisticated and effective malware distribution software has become, empowering relatively unskilled cyber criminals to inflict major damage and financial loss," he said.

The gang made money by renting out parts of the botnet to other cyber-criminals as well as selling stolen credentials and using banking and credit card information to make transactions via so-called money mules. Working with law enforcement agencies is not without its risks for security firms. After the botnet was closed down, Defence Intelligence was hit by a Distributed Denial of Service (DDoS) attack as an apparent act of retaliation.
A DDoS attack occurs when a website is bombarded by requests for pages, often by a botnet, effectively taking it offline. The attack was powerful enough to knock customers of an unnamed ISP offline for several hours. The firm remains determined to pursue such cases. "We will continue to fight the threat of botnets and the criminals behind them. We'll start by dismantling their infrastructure and won't stop until they're standing in front of a judge," said Mr Davis.

Spies and hackers exploit world cyber rule void

The best weapon against the online thieves, spies and vandals who threaten global business and security would be international regulation of cyberspace. Luckily for them, such cooperation does not yet exist. Better still, from a hacker's perspective, such a goal is not a top priority for the international community, despite an outcry over hacking and censorship and disputes over cyberspace pitting China and Iran against U.S. firm Google. Nations are thinking too parochially about their online security to collaborate on crafting global cyber regulation, an EastWest Institute security conference heard last week. Policy statements from governments around the world are dominated by the need to heighten national cyber defenses. As a result, too many cyber criminals are getting a free ride.
"Nations are in denial," Indian cyber law expert Pavan Duggal told Reuters, saying national legislation was of limited use in protecting users of a borderless communications tool. "It may take a big shock of an event to wake people out of their complacency, something equal to a 9/11 in cyberspace," he said referring to the 2001 coordinated attacks on U.S. cities.
With a quarter of humanity connected to the Internet, cyber crime poses a growing danger to the global economy.
The FBI tallied $264 million in losses from Internet crime reported by individuals in the United States in 2008 compared to $18 million of losses from 2001: These were probably a fraction of the losses caused to companies and government departments. The menace extends to many sectors including control systems for manufacturing, utilities and oil refining, since many are now tied to the Internet for convenience and productivity. A priority for regulators is to find ways of tracking down criminals across borders and ensuring they are punished, a tough task when criminals can use proxy servers to remain anonymous.

Symbian goes open source

The group behind the world's most popular smartphone operating system - Symbian - is giving away "billions of dollars" worth of code for free. The Symbian Foundation's announced that it would make its code open source in 2008 and has now completed the move. It means that any organisation or individual can now use and modify the platform's underlying source code "for any purpose".
Symbian has shipped in more than 330m mobile phones, the foundation says. It believes the move will attract new developers to work on the system and help speed up the pace of improvements.
"This is the largest open source migration effort ever," Lee Williams of the Symbian Foundation told BBC News. "It will increase rate of evolution and increase the rate of innovation of the platform."
Ian Fogg, principal analyst at Forrester research, said the move was about Symbian "transitioning from one business model to another" as well as trying to gain "momentum and mindshare" for software that had been overshadowed by the release of Apple's iPhone and Google Android operating system.
Evolutionary barrier
Finnish mobile phone giant Nokia bought the software in 2008 and helped establish the non-profit Symbian Foundation to oversee its development and transition to open source. The foundation includes Nokia, AT&T, LG, Motorola, NTT Docomo, Samsung, Sony Ericsson, STMicroelectronics, Texas Instruments and Vodafone.
The group has now released what it calls the Symbian platform as open source code. This platform unites different elements of the Symbian operating system as well as components - in particular, user interfaces - developed by individual members.
Until now, Symbian's source code was only open to members of the organization. It can be downloaded from the foundation's website from 1400 GMT. Mr Williams said that one of the motivations for the move was to speed up the rate at which the 10-year-old platform evolved. "When we chatted to companies who develop third party applications, we found people would spend up to nine months just trying to navigate the intellectual property," he said. "That was really hindering the rate of progress." Opening up the platform would also improve security, he added.

Mind share

Symbian development is currently dominated by Nokia, but the foundation hoped to reduce the firm's input to "no more than 50%" by the middle of 2011, said Mr Williams. "We will see a dramatic shift in terms of who is contributing to the platform."........

The technophile rumor mill has been grinding away at top speed over the past few months, as those both in the know, and not so much, have traded speculations over just what Apple's tablet might have to offer. Jobs finally laid the rumors to rest today, outlining the iPad's specs, which include a 9.7" display, up to 10 hours of battery life, and full web capabilities.

Apple’s new iPad really is an iPhone on steroids. It packs a nice big display, but the layout and the user interface is exactly like the iPhone or the iPod touch devices. There’s one home button on the device with a volume rocker on the right edge of the iPad, just like the iPhone.

Stephen Gately was the fastest rising search topic on Google's UK site in 2009, following the former Boyzone singer's death. Google's annual "zeitgeist", which analyses the firm's search trends, also revealed that swine flu was the story that dominated UK news headlines. It was closely followed by the rise of Britain's Got Talent runner-up Susan Boyle and the death of Jade Goody.
Microsoft said Michael Jackson's death dominated its Bing search results. Bing's top trending topics also included Farrah Fawcett and Patrick Swayze, who both died in 2009.
Swine flu was the third most searched for trend, beaten by social network Twitter in second place. Much of the rest of the top ten is dominated by personalities including US reality TV stars Jon and Kate Gosselin. The results from Bing are focused on US results, as the company has only recently launched a full UK version of the site.

Google to Acquire AdMob

Google Inc. (NASDAQ:GOOG) today announced that it has signed a definitive agreement to acquire AdMob, a mobile display ad technology provider, for $750 million in stock. This acquisition will enhance Google's existing expertise and technology in mobile advertising, while also giving advertisers and publishers more choice in this growing new area.
