We think this is the best gluten free bread (pre-made OR mix) that we have found in the last year and a half of looking! We used 3 eggs, accidentally, the first time we made it and it turned out so well that we keep it that way. We also use olive oil instead of butter (no dairy) and it works well. This bread is wonderful fresh out of the oven and slices easily for toasting for breakfast. It does have some soy lecithin in it, so be careful if you are sensitive to soy. I purchased a variety of mixes -- this one (Country Farm Oat) as well as multi grain, and fruit and nut. I've made one loaf from each collection, and they've all been wonderful. I'm trying to watch what I eat, and go for higher-fiber varieties of breads. These fill the bill beautifully, and taste incredible. Toasted with a little light cream cheese -- heaven!

I love this stuff. I've tried several gluten-free mixes, and OrgraN is definitely my favorite. I also can't have eggs or dairy, so I loved that the mix is also free of these.

I will note that I did NOT have success with their vegan option for the cake -- turns out more like pancakes -- but I tweaked it with my own vegan recipe with no problems. I used crisco instead of butter (vegan butter did not work so well, nor did oil) and tofu instead of eggs. (1/4 cup of silken tofu, firm, + 1 tsp baking powder = 1 egg.) You reallllly have to beat away to get the tofu as creamy as possible if you're going to use it, though. Mix all wet ingredients first before adding the dry.

If you're a bundle of allergies like me and are tired of funny textured, blah-tasting cakes, give this a try.

I bought this after being blindsided too many times by preschool bake sales, parties etc. that necessitated cupcakes ready LIKE NOW for an event the next day - I figured having the mix on hand would make for a lot fewer 10 p.m. trips to the grocery store for cake mix. I was also intrigued by the "all natural" claims, although I figured that (like with so many things) "all natural" ingredients would make for a "just OK" product.

I just made cupcakes for a kids' party tomorrow and this is GREAT cake mix. The little chocolate stars start out crunchy but then get soft in the oven. The cake is sweet but not too sweet and has a good crumb. I am baking at high elevation (5,300 feet) but had no problems with the way the cupcakes turned out. I frosted the cupcakes with Naturally Nora frosting mix and it was also delicious. My toddler got to "taste test" one of the cupcakes and devoured it and asked for more. So, what more can you want from a cake mix? Natural ingredients, easy to make (you just need milk, eggs and oil and I used organic, making this especially natural) and delicious to boot. I know we won't have any problem using up the whole case of cake mix as the preschool has lots of activities planned for spring, and I know all the toddlers will just love these cupcakes. I purchased these because the picture on the package looked really good. You would not believe how awful they are. If you are set on buying them, you will soon find out. Despite what the above reviewer (competitor?) writes, this product has zero transfat.
It is also very easy to make. My wife and I bought at least 25 different mixes over a two year period. This was by far the best. Easy to prepare. Cooks perfect every time. Outstanding flavor. Perfect texture. We used to buy from the manufacturer in Wisconsin and they'd mail it to us in California. But they kinda consistently made mistakes on our order. They make some other flavors but they aren't great to us.
We also tried several waffle makes including a professional model from Wells like you see in restaurants. The best we found was a $300 Kitchen Aid from William Sonoma. It makes two huge round waffles at once!
With a lot of mixes (especially pancakes) I like to doctor them up a bit by changing ingredients. But this is perfect.

These are fantastic! No grittiness whatsoever. Great chocolate flavor - taste exactly like you remember a brownie being! I've made these and shared them with non-gluten free relatives, and they did not have any idea that they were gf. So nice to get a boxed mix that actually makes a family sized portion!
