AMAZING SUNSET AT TANAH LOT

Yesterday I took my customer Mr and Mrs Melvi to Bedugul and Tanah lot tour. The day was so shinny,vry beautifull day.

First place that we visited was Taman ayun, the royal temple of Mengwi kingdom, and that we had lunch while witnessing the incredible panorama of Batukaru mount and their beautifull rice terrace which sorrounding them.

'' thank you madame ,this one of many way where you can see real Bali at balinyata'' I replayed, And than we continued our programs to visit Beratan lake temple ay bedugul area.
Finally enjoyed dinner at Tanah lot temple.
''well, Dar..if only i had more time i want to spent more time here'' said Mr Melvin to me.

We were lucky because yesterday all day was so shinny, so memorable.
Thank you very much sir and madame for visiting our island, I hope we could meet again in the future so that I c could serve you better and take you to others interesting places here,to see real Bali at Bali nyata.

GOING TO THE LEMPUYANG TEMPLE

Oneday two years ago we are one family visited our ancestor temple which is located on the top of the lempuyang temple in the northenpart of Bali island.

After climbing the mount lempuyang for one hour finally we got the top where the temple is located.

The weather actually cool, because we had perspired, so we did not feel it even it was little bit hot.

This temple not so popular for the tourist , because if you do not have adventure and religious spirit you will think ten times to visit this temple.

There is a phenomena now,where mostly the repeater tourists in my town Sanur try to enjoy their meal in the local restaurant called Warung. Probably one of the reason is they want to try local food that commonly enjoyed by the local people, or maybe they have limited budget so they could stay in BALI longer,however I think that good for the tourist to see Bali Nyata or real bali. Whatever their reason or your reason, one things that I would like to remind you is make sure you get a clean ,higyenic ,and good sanitation of Warung, so you will not have any trouble like BALIbelly while you want to enjoy Bali Nyata or real bali.

In our Warung Traditional there are two or three couples everyday who try the menu which we offered. and they are so enjoyed it. Besides the price is very very local, we alaways keep the cleanliness and the taste of the menu which we have.
Oh ya..I said the price very local because start from USD 1 or Rp 9000 according to our currency now you will get Tuna soup, nasi campur[mixed rice] and drink
It is very local isn't it. So you should try it while you are coming to Bali.

THE ANCESTOR THAT STILL IN THE OCEAN

In your view maybe this thing is not make sense. but this is the real life of the balinese people. When some people feel unhappy they might though there something some kind of duties that completely had not done yet. One those thing could be the spirits of the ancestors are belief still suffering in the ocean,, they supernaturally need a help from their grandson or son to pull them out from the ocean where they are being punished. so that why we have to hold this ceremony..and this is a part of the cremation ceremony. You can see here trough the photo my big family are going to the beach together. some of them also bring offerings , that will be offered to God of the ocean that known as ''SANGHYANG BARUNA''.

Hi..do you see, who are in photo?..well he is one of my good friend in the village , his name is Gede. We have been friend for a long time. a friend in need and in stead, As a good friend we normally spend our time to drink tuak or traditional drink with about 10 % alcohols especially during the traditional holiday or ritual ceremony in my village because we rarely meet each other. And last month he met his soul mate and do wedding ceremony soon,,he said ,"sooner ,better , as I am getting older and older...That One of the wedding prossesion when a man family ask to the woman family, means the man or the husband candidate is requested to ask permission from the woman ancestor to promise that he loves her very much and will look after her until the end of life. so that why you see the offerings in front of the priest as a clues that you are seriusly love your wife. This also one why where you can see the real balinese life......

Before 1940, The Balinese woman were still naked, This condition can be seen if one day you visit Bali do not forget to visit any museum in Ubud area. The collection of photos which are collected there clearly described about the real balinese life at that time, and this is also another good way to see the real bali.

Yesterday was saturday special for the Balinese people. Woke up in the early morning everybody weared their best traditional cloths. and then they went to the public temple,school temple and other temples that possibly are in the village.What day was actually yesterday? well ...for the Balinese hindu yesterday was The Saraswatiday ,the special day to worship the God of knowledge Sarasawati ,we celebatre this day every six months according the balinese calendar that consist of 210 days because based on wuku(lunar calendar) one month have 35 days ,so six months will be 210 days. The goddess of Saraswati is described by beautifull angle with four hand, each hand hold different thing. and standing up on Lotus flower so that why Lotus is considered as An holy flower because could live and grow in three different world. The root in the land, leaves in water and their flower in the air. So when you drive arround on the island yesterday you will see most of the balinese people use their traditional cloths. this is the REAL BALI.....
And at early morning of this day we go to the closest beach for BANYU PINARUH, kind of purification ceremony where all the people swim at the sea to reduce any bad influence or for a good luck. this is also another kind of what the real balinese must do in order the real bali tradition keep exist forever.....

...whoever will agree that Bali is one of the world uniqee and beautifull heritage island. every area have their own custom, tradition and sometimes different from one to another. but the people are still respecting each other. no one claim their tradition or custom is better than the other, or no body said their way of life must be followed, or their life style is the best one... No...no...no .There is no space for individual here, no place for selfish one ..all run together ,following the rythm of the nature.. this is the real bali or bali yang nyata. Our island is the the offering island to the God as the spirit of the universe, so no body will be affraid to ignore their duty and responsibity to their enviroment and nature that always as supporters to their life...this must we do as our thankgives to our creator..This what the real bali is? this is balinyata.............

Sunset at jimbaran bay

Yesterday was so beautifull, I was in jimbaran bay with my singaporean customer waiting for sunset. slow but sure the sun moves down following the rhytm of the nature, while a long the beach ,there were a plenty of tourist witnesing patiently panoramic of one beautifull sunset in the world, the sky arround the sun so reddish like a lip of the growing up girl that of course will enjoyble to be kissed or whatever you say..
well everybody agree I think ...sunset in jimbaran bay is very very beautifull. I pray alaways that my island will be peacefull forever so there will be more and more people come and see the sunset here.This is one packaged with Uliwatu tour, you can enjoy sunset either from uluwatu or from jimbaran bay beach.

Today I handle three golfers from Singapore,They played golf at new kuta golf course in pecatu resort in south kuta district. In Bali there are four golf courses with 18 holes and one course with 9 holes in inna grand bali beach hotel, and considerd as the oldest golf course in our island, was built in 1963. In Indonesia only few people play golf compare with the population that over 220.000.000 this year. Well.. of course ,because this is very exspensive game or hobby. and in indonesia is common thing ,while playing golf sometimes the players who are bussinessman or governmment will make deal about something that only known by both of them.

At 03.30 I got up , I took a bath and went to the office met my friend then picked up our custumers for Yogyakarta tour. On the way suddenly rained and I didn't bring rain coat, finally you can guess directelly what was un to my self? all my body got wet (basah kuyup). But I don't care I kept go to the hotel. Arriving ot the lobby, a man approached me and asked," are you my guide for yogyakarta tour?" ,I answered " yes sir, are you ready to go" and asked him back, Then he said" My wife is sick , and I would like to cancel, yesterday I called to your office nobody anaswered. Oh my God ,,,, Then he said again ," no matter you charged me for canselation fee, but I hope you can decide the the best one for us and for your company", I just said " Ok sir, I will tell my bos, thank you very much" bye..bye.
I left the hotel at 05.30 an went bac home again ,,,,sleep and just got up!!

Everytime I pass the monkey forest street, I always feel something different. The place so special, so nice and so romantic. I am balinese but I enjoy to be here very much.Along side of the road you will see the bar,restaurant, n hotel with their small light like candle at the evening. and every hamlets(banjar) has stage where the lokal people train and show their artist spirit every time. The nature and the people seem like unity in peacefull and high tolerance which creating a deep harmony in their life. I think I understood now, why since a long time ago many artist from all over the world like to spend their time here,even one of them ANTONIO BLANCO died as hindu balinese,,the body was cremated............

Kemarin aku melakukan perjalanan yang lumayan panjang, Bangun pk 06.15, aku langsung mandi,sarapan dan setelah itu bersama-sama bapak sopir aku menuju hotel villa cempaka di daerah Ubud utk jemput tamu.Tiba di lobby pk 08.00 dan Mr.Han dan keempat orang rekannya sudah menunggu utk tour Kintamani besakih Tanah lot.Tanpa basa basi aku langsung menyapa, "good morning sir, how are you? I am Dar from Bali star island", dan Mr Han yan warga negara Singapura menyambutku dengan sangat hangat ," hai dar, we are find an dI hope you are find too!!!
Begitulah sedikit greetingku utk tamu-tamuku yang kelihatannya sepele tapi mesti aku lakukan setiap awal perjumpaan. Singkat cerita, perjalanan pertama kami adalah menuju Tegalalang utk melihat rice terrace,lalu kintamani,dan sebelum makan siang kami menghabiskan waktu hampir 2 jam di pura Besakih ditengah terik matahari yang menyengat.
Sekitar Pk 13 wita kami sudah sampai di restoran Bukit jambul utk makan siang. meninggalkan restoran pk 14.10 kami kembali ke daerah Ubud melihat Galery lukisan dan patung kayu hingga pk 16.00. lalu deestinasi terakhir adalah Tanah lot utk menyaksikan sunset yang merupakan salah satu yang terindah didunia [kalau cuacanya pas bagus].Pk 19.oo kami balik ke ubud utk makan malam dan kali ini kami makan malam di warung Bebek Bengil yang menyajikan menu special Duck crispy. itulah akhir dara torku kemarin,walaupun capek aku merasa puas karena Mr Han bilang ," Dar I am enjoyble and i will recomend you to my friend and my family,"
