So, if you visit www.balmshell.com today you will see we are having a Makeover! I am sure most of you can relate, that there comes a time, or many times in a woman's life when she needs to reinvent herself, or refresh her style and look. Well after almost 4 years in business Balmshell has decided that it is our time to update our image. What does this mean... well, for the next few weeks our website will be under construction and you will need to contact us through email, twitter, facebook, and keep informed and up to date with us through our blog. Unfortunately we will be unable to process orders at this time, but soon enough Balmshell.com will be up and running, and ready to serve. Balmshell had an exciting night at MTV's "The City" After Show. Dan and Jesse battled it out at a new game called "The After show Face Off" where they had to guess what celebrity's face they were holding in front of their own. In a tight race against the clock they managed to squeeze the final answer in just before the buzzer, winning a Balmshell "Mini Lip Gloss Pack" for the audience members!

On May 11 (TODAY!), The Fermenting Cellar will be transformed into a back-lot studio. Explore your inner rebel during the biker chic faux film shoot.

Start with hair, make-up and wardrobe, then run some lines with the Harley Hunks, take part in the Pick Up Shot and learn how to lift a bike. Have your cover shot taken, but only after you learn how to get your licence and star in your own adventure riding scene. With Billie as the Director there are sure to be a few more surprises.

Enjoy decadent hors d’œuvres and cocktails with the top female taste-makers of Toronto.

Inside The Dream

Recently we had the honour to donate to a wonderful cause Inside the Dream. Inside The Dream is a non-profit, charitable organization run by volunteers that aims to help students go to prom and graduation.

School graduation signifies the accomplishment and transition from one stage in a young person's life entering into another. It is a time for students to party and to rejoice for all the years of hard work, preparing and studying for their graduation. It is a time for them to enjoy this one special night that they all should be able to share equally.

Unfortunately, the reality is that not all graduates can afford the luxuries and extra expenses that come with graduation. Thousands of youths in Ontario are on Social Assistance or are living in low-income households under the poverty line. These youths struggle with the burden of their everyday lives. The one thing that we can attempt to give them is their night to shine. Inside The Dream is about students self-image and self-esteem.

We thank the organization for the opportunity and are so happy that hundreds of young women got to experience prom and grad the way they were meant to and feel as beautiful and special as they are.
