Baltimore Ravens vs Cleveland Browns | 2026 Week 6 Game Preview

2026-10-18T11:40:50.344-04:00

The Baltimore Ravens (4-1) will take on the Cleveland Browns (3-2) in this Week 6 AFC North matchup at Huntington Bank Field with the goal of extending their three-game winning run and securing their top spot in the division. With Lamar Jackson sidelined by a sprained ankle, Baltimore's backfield is the focal point of the story. Tyler Huntley, who demonstrated his abilities by leading the team to an exciting overtime victory in Atlanta last week, now controls the offense.

It is obvio In order to set the physical tone and lessen Huntley's workload against a potent Cleveland pass rush led by Myles Garrett, the Ravens will likely rely heavily on Derrick Henry, who already has 476 running yards and seven touchdowns this season. After a poor offensive performance in a 17-12 defeat to the Jets, in which Deshaun Watson was sacked eight times and produced fewer than 200 yards overall, the Browns are eager to turn things around. The Browns will find it difficult to move the chains if Cleveland's offensive line is unable to strengthen its pass defense against Roquan Smith and Baltimore's aggressive front. As a result, control of the line of scrimmage and turnover margins will be the decisive factors in this traditional division clash.

Is Zay Flowers Becoming the Best WR in the NFL Right Before Our Eyes?

2026-09-28T12:20:13.670-04:00

Zay Flowers isn't currently considered the best wide receiver in the NFL, but he may be the most valuable to his team. I mean just look at the elevation Flowers got on that clutch catch in Brazil! It is insane! Flowers had like 150 yards in just the first half in week 1 for the Baltimore Ravens before he go injured. The Ravens definitely would not have beaten the cowboys if Big Play Zay did not make this incredible catch leaving just 1 second on the clock for a game winning Tyler Loop field goal.

It is obvious that Zay Flowers has stepped it up a notch this season. We all saw what the Baltimore Ravens offense looked like without him in week 2. There is no way the Ravens would have lost that game to the Saints in week 2 if Zay Flowers was healthy and on the field. If Zay keeps playing like this, he very well may become the best WR in the league.

Big Play Zay is Out! Who Will Step Up in Week 2? | Baltimore Ravens

2026-09-20T10:11:54.354-04:00

Zay Flowers had an incredible game for the Baltimore Ravens in Week 1 finishing with 150 yards receiving and a touchdown before leaving the game with an injury. Zay Flowers, who has been the primary target for Lamar Jackson in the passing game, will be out in week 2 due to a lingering hamstring issue. The question today will be who will step up in the Ravens passing game? The Ravens no longer have clutch TE Isaiah Likely who is now with the New York Giants and will also be missing promising rookie WR Ja'Kobi Lane who is also out with an injury.

Many Ravens fans have high hopes that WR Rashod Bateman will step up in the absence of Zay Flowers. Promising young WR Devontez Walker will also have a golden opportunity to contribute. The Ravens will also need some help from veteran TE Mark Andrews and running back Derrick Henry to help keep pressure off of Lamar. We will find out alot about the Ravns WR depth and passing game today as the Ravens play the New Orleans Saints in the home opener at M&T Bank stadium.

Baltimore Ravens draft OL Olaivavega Ioane for Lamar Jackson protection in 1st round

2026-04-24T01:44:00.002-04:00

The Baltimore Ravens just made a major statement in the trenches by selecting Olaivavega Ioane in the first round of the 2026 NFL Draft, a move that perfectly aligns with the "Play Like a Raven" DNA. Standing at a mountain of a man with elite lateral agility, Ioane is the foundational piece this offensive line needs to solidify the protection for Lamar Jackson and pave lanes for the ground game.

Adding a powerhouse like Ioane ensures that the Ravens front five remains one of the most physical groups in the AFC North, providing the essential bulk and high-motor intensity required to win late into January. As the Ravens continue to prioritize dominance in the trenches, this pick signals a clear commitment to a smash-mouth identity that will keep Baltimore a force in the NFL for the forseeable future.

No Deal!!! Maxx Crosby Gets an F on his Physical Exam | Ravens NFL News

2026-03-11T00:09:00.000-04:00

The blockbuster transaction that would send superstar pass rusher Maxx Crosby to the Baltimore Ravens has officially collapsed in a surprising turn of events. Although a historic transaction involving two first-round picks (2026 and 2027) had been agreed upon in principle by the Raiders and Ravens, the trade was cancelled today, March 10, 2026, after Crosby allegedly failed his medical exam with the Ravens.

The 28-year-old defensive end was anticipated to be the centerpiece of a redesigned Ravens defense under new coach Jesse Minter. He had surgery in January to repair a damaged meniscus. Instead, "Mad Maxx" stays—for the time being—on a Las Vegas roster that has already started using the cap space his departure was scheduled to produce, and Baltimore reclaims its draft capital. This medical obstacle throws one of the NFL's major offseason storylines into complete turmoil, with other suitors like the Cowboys allegedly reluctant to re-engage.

Top 10 Reasons Baltimore Ravens are NOT in the Superbowl Today

2026-02-08T11:52:00.000-05:00

Even though the Baltimore Ravens had a talented roster and were favorites to be Superbowl contenders at start of the 2025 NFL season, the Ravens didn't even make the playoffs. Here are the top 10 reasons that the Ravens won't be playing in the Superbowl today:

1.) Lamar Jackson's injuries — which included hamstring, back, knee, ankle, and toe issues—caused the 2 time league MVP to miss four games and play at a reduced level in others, making this his least productive season and keeping the offense from its full potential.

2.) Horrible 1–5 Start — The Ravens had their worst start to the season since 2015, with a protracted losing streak that left a hole that was too big to dig out of even with improvements later in the season.

3.) Anemic Pass Rush and Defensive Regression — The defense only produced 30 sacks, tied for third-fewest, and put pressure on 32.1% of dropbacks, ranking 29th in the NFL. Important losses to the interior line, such as Nnamdi Madubuike, revealed weaknesses against the pass.

4.) Offensive Line Failures — The O-line was hampered by poor offseason decisions, which resulted in uneven protection, a decline in run blocking, and the primary cause of Jackson's injury problems.

5.) Execution Errors and Turnovers — The squad was plagued by costly errors in every phase, particularly in close games and late scenarios, including fumbles, poor time management, and penalties.

6.) Historic Home Game Struggles — The Ravens lost six home games, the most in the team's history, as they were unable to dominate in front of fans and lost their intimidating advantage at M&T Bank Stadium.

7.) Inability to Close Games — During the Week 18 division-deciding defeat to the Steelers, rookie kicker Tyler Loop missed a 44-yard field goal as time ran out, demonstrating the team's recurring failure to close games or blow late leads.

8.) Underutilization of Derrick Henry — Derrick Henry was not used to his full potential because, in the second half of crucial games, the offense frequently gave up on the run game, which limited Henry's effect when it counted most.

9.) Poor Performance Against Winning Teams — Baltimore's 2-7 record against winning teams revealed a lack of "killer instinct" and an inability to compete with good opponents.

10.) Overall Underperformance of a Talented Roster — Despite having six Pro Bowl players and anticipation of winning the Super Bowl in the preseason, the club was unable to play complimentary football consistently, which led to a disappointing collapse and, for the first time since 2021, a postseason absence.

Former Ravens DC Mike Macdonald Gets Seahawks to Superbowl in Just 2 Years as HC

Through defensive skill and strategic leadership, Mike Macdonald has rejuvenated the Seattle Seahawks in just two seasons, turning them into a formidable team and a real Super Bowl candidate. Following a strong 10–7 start in 2024, Macdonald guided the team to a commanding 14–3 record in 2025, earning the NFC West title and the top seed in the conference—the team's best record since their 2014 championship run.

His "Dark Side" defense, which leads the NFL in scoring defense (17.2 points per game) and has a remarkable 14-2 road record that is among the finest starts for any coach in NFL history, has become the league's gold standard. The league's youngest head coach has effectively transitioned from the Pete Carroll era into a new era of supremacy by fusing sophisticated schematics with a "team-first" attitude, as seen by a recent thrilling playoff victory over the 49ers and a highly anticipated trip to the NFC Championship game.

After defeatinf the Rams 31 to 27 to win the NFC Championship game today, this impressive head coach is headed to the Superbowl.

Eric DeCosta Shares What Baltimore Ravens Are Looking for in a Head Coach

2026-01-15T00:54:00.000-05:00

[Click here for Baltimore Ravens Merch]

The Baltimore Ravens are actively looking for a replacement head coach who possesses strong leadership traits, such as the capacity to hold players accountable while effectively relating to them, knowledge of strategic X's and Os, firmness in decision-making, and a dedication to maintaining the team's winning culture, after deciding to fire longtime head coach John Harbaugh after 18 seasons. Together with President Sashi Brown and Executive Vice President Ozzie Newsome, General Manager Eric DeCosta is overseeing a thorough hiring process that includes preliminary virtual interviews with about 20 applicants.

In order to secure a hire that maintains Baltimore's competitive edge in the AFC North, the Ravens prioritize a coach who can maximize quarterback Lamar Jackson's talents and elevate the already talented roster. Jackson himself will receive updates following each interview and is expected to participate in finalist meetings. Owner Steve Bisciotti will offer input on finalists but defer primary decision-making to the front office trio.

Imagine if John Harbaugh and Mike Tomlin Traded Places!

2026-01-13T23:55:00.001-05:00

Now that John Harbaugh has been fired as head coach of the Baltimore Ravens and Mike Tomlin has stepped down as the HC of the Pittsburgh Steelers, the NFL head coaching gold rush just got more interesting. Imagine if the Baltimore Ravens acquired Mike Tomlin from their bitter rivals, the Pittsburgh Steelers, while the Steelers retaliate by luring John Harbaugh across the AFC North divide. This coaching exchange would send shockwaves through the league and redefine one of football's fiercest rivalries.

It would make for a great sequel to the movie Trading Places with Eddie Murphy and Dan Aykroyd. I personally would love to have Mike Tomlin as a head coach. The guy has never had a losing season! All he was missing was a good young talented quarterback. I truly believe if Tomlin had Lamar Jackson and Derrick Henry under his leadership, the Ravens would win a Superbowl.
