Danielle and Jakob's wedding rocked! These WSU sweethearts really knew how to party! But here's the lesson to be learned... Brides & Grooms make sure you meet your DJ before you sign contracts and pay your deposits! This couple was burned by a less professional DJ service who didn't return their repeated phone calls just weeks before their wedding! They fired that DJ and hired Bamboo Beats because of our vendor referrals and positive feedback. Whew! The Sanctuary was the venue with catering by Ravishing Radish and incredible photography by Red Fish Blue Fish.

With a guest list filled with plenty of fun friends, delectable catering from Ravishing Radish and fantastic beats by DJ Tecumseh, Jesse & Fatima experienced their wedding exactly the way they wanted to. Ann and Aaron had a beautiful sunny wedding reception at Blue Ribbon Cooking on Lake Union. The food was so yummy and the water views and sunset made the night sparkle. I loved the cake topper! This group really knew how to dance and party!!! Awesome photography by the very talented Daniel Usenko.
Lorna and Henry are a super chic couple! He is an architect and she is food columnist for Seattle Magazine. After a wonderful tea ceremony/wedding nuptials, they had a fantastic chef prepared meal which was a tribute and re-enactment of their engagement dinner. Chinese Lion Dancers blessed the couple after dinner and the rest of the night was filled with dancing, photo booth fun and a delicious Gelato cart by Poco Carretto. This wedding was held at the uber cool Pravda Studio and featured in Seattle Bride Magazine! Jennifer & Joe's wedding was an intimate affair inspired by the art of modern winemaking. The Efeste Winery in Woodinville hosted the wedding in their beautifully designed Tasting Room and industrial winemaking facility. The columns of wine barrels created a wonderful backdrop to the whole event. We even provided accent lighting between the barrels to create an even more romantic ambiance! Ravishing Radish provided the delectable eats and Red Fish Blue Fish Photo captured all of the precious moments!
Kelsey and Kyle and their guests created the most energetic wedding of the summer! We just love couples that have great style, love to dance and have good taste in food, music and ambiance! In keeping with their savvy personalities, they chose Pravda for a modern ceremony and reception, Ravishing Radish for scrumptious catering, Married and More with Michelle for wedding coordination, Bella Rugosa for floral and event decor, Photo Elan to capture the moments and of course DJ Tecumseh to get the party hyped! We were happy to be a part of their wonderful union and celebration!
Bridget and Matt are the two coolest veterinarians we've ever met! They had a very romantic and intimate wedding at the Edgewater Hotel on the waterfront. With blue hydrangea centerpieces, bay view windows and a gorgeous sunset, we didn't want the night to end! Airra and Graham had a beautiful wedding at the Yacht Club on Lake Union. Ravishing Radish created an amazing Asian fusion menu and the decor was stunning with a pink, green and chocolate motif. The wedding cake, invitations and programs had a cherry blossom theme. They even had cuter than cute wooden cake toppers made to look like them (These seem to be the trend this summer and they are just too cute!) Airra found her cake toppers and wedding stationary at Etsy. We love this couple because they were so much like us! They were creative, DIY-ers and they loved Hip Hop, Soul and Funk! The dancefloor was on fire!
We got to spin tracks for the launch of the new Sprint Palm Pre at the University Village store. This nationwide party was a fun night of outside grooves by DJ Tecumseh, tasty appetizers by Ravishing Radish, appearances by Seahawks players and fab photography by Red Fish Blue Fish!

Krissy and Chris had a beautiful and intimate wedding ceremony and reception at the gorgeous Palace Ballroom. With lots of chocolate walls and drapery, the Palace Ballroom is a wonderful and elegant venue! The delicious food by Tom Douglas was served family style making the meal like a sit-down dinner but much more fun and interactive. Krissy loves to dance and she and her guests danced the whole night! There were even late night snacks like seasoned fries and maple eclairs... yum! Here's a lovely wedding video from a wonderful couple we had last summer! The bride was Korean and the groom was Filipino and they were adorned with their cultural attire during the reception. Wil worn a Filipino barong and Ivane wore a Korean hanbok. The ceremony was on the Bell Harbor Rooftop and on this particular day is was pouring! We waited it out and there was a break in the weather and the ceremony went on without a hitch... it was quite windy though. The best part of the ceremony was at the end... for their recessional song the couple picked "Walking on Sunshine" by Katrina and the Waves. While DJ Tecumseh played the song, just like magic, the sun broke out and shone brightly on the couple as they made their way to their reception as newlyweds! Gotta love Seattle weather!

Jennie and Alex's wedding was another one of our recent favorites! This couple had a unique style and flavor all their own... and boy did their guests know how to party! The ceremony and reception were both held at Pravda in Capitol Hill. This venue is one of our favorite places to DJ because you can create a super hip urban hangout suite, rather than your usual boring reception. Of course you need the right combination of people and music... and this wedding was written in the stars! The dancing was so exciting and live! Everyone had a blast, even the catering staff danced around as they worked! We had the pleasure of DJ-ing the evening cocktail party for the Nordex Interior Design Conference that was hosted by the Seattle Design Center. The Atrium at the Design Center is a beautiful and large venue that can accommodate events up to 600 guests seated! The theme for the party was "Art Alive" and featured a live painter and artist inspired decor. There were appetizers, chocolate samplers and many different wine tastings. As Seattle's First Green DJ, we were honored to DJ the grand opening of the eco-conscious Hyatt hotel and condominium at Olive 8, Seattle's first green hotel (soon to be the first LEED certified hotel in Seattle). The property is beautifully designed and warmly modern! I really loved the museum gallery-like layout of the lobby, the hip lighting, oh and did I mention the super cool green roof! The fact that sustainability was an integral part of the design of the hotel just makes you feel good. The rooms are gorgeous, the organic fare is scrumptious and the spa looks heavenly (I am dying to check out the chlorine-free pool)! The vibe of the grand opening was eclectic, hip and world lounge. Aleah & Mike were an amazingly sweet and fun loving couple who currently live in New Jersey. The picturesque destination of the Kiana Lodge in Poulsbo made for a very romantic wedding environment, enhanced by florals by Miki's Flowers (one of our favorite florists), lovely event coordination by Bridezilla Events along with all of moments captured beautifully by C. Pelland Photography. We loved this couple and their guests, because they really knew how to party and everyone just loved to dance!

We provided smooth lounge sounds for Spa Scotta at their first ever Bridal Soiree on February 22. The spa is gorgeous, well-designed and staffed with some fantastic ladies! They offered complimentary manicures, 10 minute massages and makeup sessions for all of the brides to be! It was so much fun and we got to meet Laura Totten, the talented photographer for the night and Linda Cummings from Flowers in Bothell. The delicious and beautifully presented treats were provided by Anthony from Brown's Catering in Renton and there were models in chic dresses provided by Moms, Maids and More. Our first Seattle Wedding Show went extremely well! We met some super fly couples and connected with some fabulous wedding vendors! Thank you to all the couples and vendors who came by the show to chat with us! We look forward to another year of hip, funky and eco-friendly weddings!

Alannah was very happy with her sweet sixteen party despite the fact that her high school Tolo was happening during the same night (rescheduled due to a snow day). The color theme was a sophisticated pink and black and to compliment this scheme we added pink accent lights along the back wall to give it a lounge look. Can you believe this dance was at a community hall and not a hotel ballroom? Lighting can really set the mood!
Infospace put together a very impressive holiday party for it's employees! The party was held at the Westin Bellevue, a modern, well-designed hotel and event space. The vibe was mod and cool with white lounge seating and blue uplights. The drink bars were all sculpted from ice and backlit with blue lighting. It was super cool! The music was upbeat, lively, soulful and warm, and DJ Tecumseh mixed a range of music from r&b to rock to jazz.
Melinda and Matt are a creative and sustainable couple and we had the pleasure of being their wedding DJ! Their outdoor reception was held at the Washington Park Arboretum and the weather was beautiful! Their music style was a fantastic blend of Latin, Jazz and World Music. For their first dance they chose to dance the Bachata, a rhythm and dance from the Dominican Republic. In addition, the couple had their dance instructors show their guests how to dance the Salsa. Everyone had a great time!
