Wow - it's been a long time since my last post. What can I say? I've been super busy lately. As a musician, it's difficult enough to find time in the studio, so you can imagine where writing about marketing falls on my priority list. Sorry for that - hope to add some new site reviews soon. Amie Street to be vacated

I just received notice that Amie Street will be shutting its site down on September 22, 2010. The headline reads, "Amie Street is moving to Amazon", which is a bit confusing. As an artist signed up with Amie Street, what does this mean? Outstanding royalties will reportedly still be paid.

It's been a long time since I've updated the site, and for that I apologize.

Just today, I received an email from Virb stating that they are changing their business model. According to the press release I received, they are "saying goodbye to profiles and hello to websites."

The music pages at CNet's site Download.com have disappeared. If you try to visit an artist page at music.download.com, you are now redirected to the corresponding page (if one exists) at Last.FM.
