Banga Darshan is Organizing a Free Medical Camp for the poor and the needy on 10th April 2016.
Please spread the word and tell all the poor people who cannot afford medical aids for their treatment
Banga Darshan is setting up a panel of doctors from different fields of specialties. Also there will be free medicines and check ups.
Special talks from experts and life counselling.
The camp will be held at KUCH Bihar Kali Badi, Sonarpura Varanasi, UP, India.
from 9am to 1pm on Sunday 10th April 2016.

Sunday...Funday...Picnic day

Banga Darshan organised a members only Picnic at Shooltankeshwar, to get away from the hectic and monotonous life.
Shooltankeshwar is a beautiful establishment on the bank of the ganges. The placed is named of the Lord Shiva's temple at that place. Picnic was help at Shooltankeshwar farm house with the heart stealing view of paradise.

Members altogether enjoyed a blissful sunday with loads of fun, joy, food, music & entertainments.
Starting from the yummy breakfast till the evening tea, each minute was full of enthuse & enjoyment.
A game of musical chair charged the senior generation with loads of zeal and laughter. Passing the parcel was a charmfull event played by the youngsters and ofcourse Antakshari that was enjoyed by all.
The day was ended by beautifull group photograph against the setting orange sun. A wow day of togetherness and with lots of happy memories and moments to ponder over the years to come.

In the cloudy-sunny fusion day the dance, the music, laughter & sports were healing our tiring working days. We wonder how will we be able to wait for a full year for the next picnic.

Donate clothes

As every year this year too Banga Darshan has organised a clothe donation camp for the poor and needy people of Varanasi.

We provide all the shelter less people with warm new blankets and clothes provided by our members and donated by good willed people of Varanasi.
We try to help as many as possible to survive the harsh cold winter nights. When we are warm and fuzzy inside our blankets so many people out there don't even have a piece of clothing on their body.

This year donation camp will be organised on 10th of January. We are collecting right now and we request you to make open hearted donations in cash or kind. All those old cloths that you are planning to throw out or give to your maid, give it to us for ones so that we can provide them to those who are in much more need of them.

A single act of kindness can make huge changes. A single determined man can make a mountain fall.

We are always open for people with good heart and souls. Come join us and help us to make this society a better living place for each and everyone of us.

Ambulance service begins

Banga Darshan is proud to launch it's ambulances services once again. We had started 2 years back but due to some issues the service had to be discontinued.

But we are happy to announce that we have again started our ambulance service at full speed. We are hosting a Maruti omni basic life support ambulance 6 days a week during office hours. We are continuously making efforts to improve our service and hopefully we will be able to extend service duration and features.
The ambulance service provided by us is for any one to use and can be hired to visit any hospital regardless of private or government. We are making constant efforts t make the service avail 24x7 but as for now it is only available between 10 am to 8 pm and Sundays closed.
With all the love and support we get from you we will definitely try to improve our facilities and provide more and for those in need.
Our organisation is open to all and all with open heart and mind are welcome to join us and be a part of this selfless venture.
We wish you a Good Health, fit body and a peaceful mind.

Successful Medical Camp

By no time the place was swarming with peoples and the count reached beyond 350. We are very happy to announce the tremendous success of Free Medical Camp organised by us on 11th October 2015 at Kuch Bahar Kali badi. A grand team of doctors helped us make this possible.
A big vote of thanks to them. We would also like to thank all our volunteers whose help made it possible to organize everything and maintain the smoothness for the day.

To all the doctors, members and good wishers we thank you for your time and devotion. We hope that you will continue with to provide us your support and help. We wish to achieve even bigger targets and provide more platforms for helping out the public and this could only be achieved by the trust and love you have us.

Free Medical Camp 11th October 2015

Banga Darshan is proud to conduct a free medical camp on 11^th October; this will be a lifesaving factor for those people who are neither able to afford medical treatment nor having any basic knowledge regarding health and hygiene. Besides these, basic health problems and sicknesses are going to be diagnosed with free medicines.

The program is conducted in its targeted area with reputed doctor panel of our own committee. In fact, these programs have been great benefits to many such peoples who could not reach to the nearest local hospitals.

We are happy to announce a Cover Page contest for our annual magazine "ANANDAN"

The magazine is due launch in December during the event of Anand Mela.

This is your chance to design a cover page for the magazine and show your creative talent to the world.

The best cover design will be selected as the cover page of our magazine and the winner will get a chance to enroll his/her name in the Anand Mela lucky draw contest for FREE! Also will be awarded full credit for the innovative design.

So what are you waiting for? Kick start your imagination and get started.

Theme:- “Unity in Diversity” (If the design does have the theme then those entries will not be considered)

Rules & regulations:-

1. Contest begins 30. September. 2015 and ends on 20.November.2015. No entries will be accepted after this date.

2.There is no age bar.

3.Contestant must provide original idea and not a copy from google search. Authentication of the submission will be dully checked.

4.Contestant must be a resident on INDIA.

5. There is no participation fees. Contest is free and open to everybody.

6. Decision of the core committee will be final regarding the winning entry.

7. No request of change for the last day of submission will be entertained.

8. Winner will be informed by phone and email.

9. Winner will receive only 1 lucky draw coupon on his/her name which will be given after the launching ceremony of the magazine. Referral will be made to the winner's name in the magazine regarding cover credits.

10. Coupon will not be exchanged for cash.

'Banga Darshan' Cultural and Human Development Society was established by a few well known citizens of Varanasi on 11th October 2008 and the same was registered under government of Uttar Pradesh society act on 19th Dec 2008.

The reason behind establishing the society was to make people aware of their duties towards the society, how to live and let others live, promote universal brother hood, need of education for all, helping out one in need to have a reasonable descent living, which may be by counseling and technical advice also arranging for self employment like helping ladies to learn, cutting & stitching of clothes, beauty parlour courses and many more. However our primary aims remain to be- primary education for economically backward children. Our members adopts at least one child's educational expenses including school fees and books.

Our second moto is to be by the side of the ailing one. We arrange medical camps from time to timeand a free service by a team of specialists. We have a strong team of doctors in our membership list as well as patrons and well wishers. We help out people of low economic stratum to get surgical aid at a concessional rate.

Thirdly to propagate the message of necessity of a healthier society, we arrange cultural programmes of and on round the year that put forwards values of a healthier society along with entertainment. We arrange a mela (carnival) annually. It helps our members as well as others rejuvenate and acquire new energy to work for betterment of the society. A mela helps one to know each other, exchange views and make the going on process more easy.

We have a dedicated team of members of around 150 and counting. Their selfless involvement for the betterment of the society has made us to achieve this level.

We welcome new members who have the desire to serve the society and ofcourse we request them to lea ve aside all the egoism if the posses any.

Why the name "BANG DARSHAN"? Banga means benagal or Bengalis and Darshan means to see or the philosophy. In 1872 the maker of the song "Bande Mataram" Bankim Chandra came out with a magazine named "Banga Darshan". The aim aim of which was to send message for the society to regain self respect as well as respect for the others. It was a platform for writers with progressive ideas. That was an era when Bengal produced very many thinkers and strong willed person. We are proud of adopting the name "Banga Darshan" and get inspired from the historical event.
