This was dramatically demonstrated last week when security researchers revealed that Apple's iPhone tracks users' locations and saves them to a secret file on the device — and onto users' computers when the two are synced. Yes, you are right. We usually make this mistake. It should be mobile phone or cell phone. To make the name short, people call it only mobile. So, according to your proposal any of the words "P (phone) or MP, CP" can be added before the names of various mobile related services.
