The South African retailer base in South Africa is very concentrated powerful and does not see the value of card schemes; they are especially active in the interchange debate and other regulatory issues.   The retailers are currently looking into collaborating to build their own payments scheme. Prepare Agenda and co-ordinate all presentations. &lt;br /&gt;• Ensure the relationship with the Customer delivers on the firm’s financial goals&lt;br /&gt;• Develop financial models based on estimated Customer gross dollar volumes to structure new deals and alliance agreements and ensure their approval by company Finance&lt;br /&gt;• Structure deals and alliance agreements with the Customer to support brand positioning and corporate objectives of achieving financial goals, increasing card gross dollar volume and card market share&lt;br /&gt;• Negotiate and agree the terms of these deals and alliance agreements with the Customer, with the support of the Legal team&lt;br /&gt;• Review and track Customer Business Agreement contract commitments, including the timely submission and summation of all rebates &amp; incentive payments.  Ensure these payments are communicated fully to senior management, track key card metrics on a monthly and quarterly basis, and benchmark performance to other Customers in East &amp; West Africa.  In instances of underperformance create plans to increase performance and / or highlight gaps for executive management attention&lt;br /&gt;• Analyse the ‘Customer Operating Statement’ that records all company revenue and incentives relating to the Customer on a quarterly basis, comparing to plan and updating the forecast as necessary. /&gt;Requirements&lt;br /&gt;• Bachelor's degree or ten years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.  &lt;br /&gt;• Minimum of 7+ years progressively responsible Banking or Savings &amp; Loan and Operations work experience, with a minimum of 5+ years in an executive leadership capacity.&lt;br /&gt;• Possess a strong understanding of regulatory compliance, commercial loan operations, loan processing, quality assurance, and loan servicing.&lt;br /&gt;• Is knowledgeable of the principles, practices and legal issues relating to staff supervision and performance management, strategic planning and budget administration.&lt;br /&gt;• Understands concepts, standards and procedures relating to individual and group lending, at they pertain to micro-finance.&lt;br /&gt;• Demonstrated ability to: understand/analyze performance/production data to identify improvement opportunities; manage complex projects that impact OI  operations Loans provided through this program will finance private schools of all sizes focused on the provision of a quality values-based education to those children living in poor communities.  The proprietors of these schools (“edupreneurs”) are typically unable to otherwise access funding for the development of their schools.  &lt;br /&gt;• Leading the scale-up through our network of members of an educational loan product for the parents of students who may need to smooth the payments required to keep their children in school.  &lt;br /&gt;• Managing and deploying the capital to be used by members to support these loan programs.  This capital will be deployed from a centrally managed fund to our members predominantly in the form of debt and equity. &lt;br /&gt;• Supporting the efforts of fund-raisers globally to raise capital for this effort.  &lt;br /&gt;The intent is that through the EduFinance initiative they will empower over 1 million poor families in developing countries to overcome the obstacle of getting a quality education for their children.  The firm is currently piloting this school loan product and sees it as an important element in alleviating poverty over the medium to long term.   The Head of EduFinance will work collaboratively as a member of the Network team to create strategy, set direction, design work processes and provide leadership for EduFinance.  The Head of EduFinance will lead the overall strategic direction of EduFinance through the Implementing Members, ensuring maximum outreach, sustainability and transformational impact. financial data is presented to the CEO and senior management team.&lt;br /&gt;Operations&lt;br /&gt;• Oversee risk management and legal activities: letters of agreement, contracts, policies, and other legal documents and agreements.&lt;br /&gt;• Business insurance: procurement, monitoring and management.&lt;br /&gt;• Information technology – working with the manager of information technology, ensure the on-going maintenance and updating of information systems and infrastructure, including hardware and software.&lt;br /&gt;• Organizational reporting and monitoring: provide guidance and leadership through management of the organization's metrics and measurement reporting process.&lt;br /&gt;• Office management: oversee administrative functions for across Africa, ensuring smooth daily operations.&lt;br /&gt;• Manage insurance programs including claims assessment and renewals.&lt;br /&gt;• Manage investigations of claims in compliance with regulations.&lt;br /&gt;• Analyse reports submitted by claims supervisor and third party administrators.&lt;br /&gt;• Manage claims recoveries and reporting thereof.&lt;br /&gt;• Provide guidance and advise to management on developing, implementing and revising insurance programs and policies and resolving financial and legal issues.&lt;br /&gt;• Formulate information required for a short term monthly pack based on the organization and individual's achievement&lt;br /&gt;• Board of directors – working with the CEO provide staff support and guidance to the organization's board act as staff liaison to relevant board committees.&lt;br /&gt;• Leverage relationships with existing and new clients.&lt;br /&gt;• Provide training and seminars to staff and management.&lt;br /&gt;• Responsible for the continuous update of the short term insurance business plan and adherence to procurement compliance.&lt;br /&gt;• Ensure all process and procedures within short term insurance comply with local regulations and laws governing business operations.&lt;br /&gt;• Demonstrate success in dealing with complex insurance and risk management issues.&lt;br /&gt;• Achieve corporate goals through the on-going selection,
