The CPA/Barbour ABI Index for April, which measures contract awards, was 8% higher than in March, as Spring finally sprung, suggesting that Q2 will be better than Q1.

They are also down 37% on the corresponding quarter of 2012.  The levels were at their lowest for any quarter since Q3 2010.
