I had a wonderful workshop yesterday afternoon and this was one of the Make & Takes we did. I previously tried the accordian flower with no success!!! LOL! But this worked out for all - experienced or not. I used Soft Suede which everyone loved.

Enjoy this for now and stay tuned, later on this week I will show you what other projects we did at the workshop.

Just a little note for today, I made these little hangars for our exam rooms at work. I had promised to make some Halloween thingies for our doors and these Bingo cards from the holiday mini just jumped right out at me. The size is just perfect to fit on a piece of 6" x 6" paper! Finish off with a raven in the corner (works for our football team too! LOL) and Basic Balck 1/8" taffeta ribbon! Voila, easy - peasy!

Well, we have reached the end of our journey! :-( So sad but I hope you have gotten some great ideas to spark your imagination.

My last bit of inspiration for you is a soap holder. I cased the holder from Erica Cerwin at www.pinkbuckaroodesigns.blogspot.com I just thought it was too cute and the antibacterial soaps are from Bath & Body Works. They are just too too cute!

I used Basic Black CS for the base. On the front I used Pumpkin Pie CS that I ran through the Big Shot using the Spider Web embossing folder! The paper is from Nite Owl and the ribbon is 1/8" black taffeta.

When you open it up, all the paper is from Nite Owl. The bat I punched out & then used Illuminating top coat Smooch to give it that glimmer!

This was very easy to do and again, so easily adaptable to any occasion. I can't wait to see what little soaps they do for Christmas!

I hope I have given you enough inspiration to start creating your own gifts & stuff. I have certainly enjoyed sharing with you. Have a wonderful holiday season! Now, Jump right on over to see what Becky has for you today!

Welcome! Welcome!

Here we are at day 6 of the tour! Can you believe how fast time has flown! The weather here has been frightful! No, not snow but such rain! Thanks be, I didn't have to go to my "real" job and got to play today with my stuff!!!! What a treat. My Mom is here and I got her to help me out with this card!

I am using this as a swap for our regional meeting this weekend. I am so excited it's in Baltimore!!!! I used Cherry Cobbler and Sahara Sand for the colors. I think with the color renovation this year, we have such great color options for The Holiday Season! The snow flake is from Northern Hearts - a Hostess set from the Holiday mini- and I punched it out with the 1 3/8" circle punch. Mom punched out all the Cherry Cobbler scalloped circles and glued them together!

The Sahara Sand layer is embossed with the Big Shot and the Petals-a-plenty embossing folder. I used Real Red 1/8" taffeta ribbon aroundthat layer and then using dimensionals placed the snowflake on the card. I then added a rhinestone to the snowflake. I LOVE the rhinestones!

Mery Christmas is from Teeny Tiny Wishes. I stamped that with Cherry Cobbler on Sahara Sand and punched out with the Modern Label Punch. Mom added that piece to the card!

OH!!!! Almost forgot, I did spray the Sahara Sand layer with Vanilla smooch spray. As you can sort of see it got kinda clumped up in spots. I was disappointed it that when I first sprayed it but after letting it sit for a bit, I liked it alot!!!!

Hope you enjoyed todays contribution. Now it's time to head over to see what Becky has in store for you today!

Are you enjoying this tour? I have to say that I love all I have seen! Here's my project for the day. I used Baja Breeze for the card base. I used the snowflake from the new hostess set - Northern Hearts - and Baja Breeze ink to stamp the background on the card. I ran a piece of Confetti White CS through the Big Shot with the Northern Flurries embossing folder. I then used a sponge and Baja Breeze ink to go over the raised snowflakes and placed it on the lower edge of the card. I tied a piece of the red stripped ribbon around the card.

I then stamped the sentiment on a piece of the Confetti White CS using Cherry Cobbler ink and punched it out with the awesome new label punch found in the Holiday mini. I inked around the edges with the Cherry Cobbler and placed it on the card using dimensionals. Voila! Nice and easy!

WORD OF WARNING!!!! When use use this die cut make sure you really fold the creases well and it will go together nice for you.

For the front, I punched a 2 1/2" circle (New in the Holiday mini!) in Basic Black CS. I then punched a large scalloped circle from Sahra Sand CS. I used the candelabra from Dark & Dreary and Spooky from Wicked Cool! I then crumpled up the scallop circle, opened it back up and sponged the edges with Sahara Sand. I layered this on the Black circleand glued it to the Candy Wrapper. I used the bat punch and Basic Black CS to get the bat for the circle!

To top it off, I used the 1/2' Raven lace trim form the ends of the wrapper! This is a great little wrapper that can be adapted for ANY occasion.

Enjoy the rest of your tour and now, Hop on over to see what Becky has to offer today!

I hope everyone is enjoying the tour so far. What about all those great ideas out there! WOW!! I am so impressed. Can't wait to try some of them out myself!

I have a great little gift idea here. I found this awesome pattern for small test tubes by Lisa Somerville at www.lisasomerville.com. I have one for Halloween. The base is Pumpkin Pie Card stock, DSP is Nite Owl (found in the Holiday Mini). On the front I put a piece of Basic Black CS. I then stamped the images from Wicked Cool on Confetti White CS. I used Rich Razzleberry marker to color in the socks and hat band and then I used the Rich Razzleberry marker & the Color Spritzer tool to add a little color. I punched two bas with the fabulous bat punch!!! OOPS! Almost forgot, I used black taffeta ribbon around the box!

To top off the top, I stamped th spider web with Basic Gray (i did ink up the stamp & stamped off once then stamped on a piece of Confetti Whte CS) and stamped the sentiment with Pumpkin Pie, punched with 1 3/8" circle punch and layered that on the Pumpkin Pie CS I punched with the scallop circle punch.

I filled the test tubes with M&M's and tied a piece of Pumpkin Pie Taffeta ribbon around each!

For the Christams one, I used Marina Mist for the base, Candy Cane Christmas for the DSP - love this one from the Holiday Mini, some sheets are glittery! The snow flakes are made with a new Big Shot Die - Northern Frost. It is a decorative strip and you can make 8 snowflakes at a time! The brads are Glimmer Brads! love that sparkle. On the front I used Real Red CS layered on top of that is Whisper White CS that I ran through the BS with the Northern Flurry embossing folder! The Christmas Ball I stamped the image with Versamark and Real red, then stamped it onto Whisper White CS and heat embossed it using Iridescent Ice. I then punched it out with the ornament punch. The ornament image is from the Idea Book and Catalog! The ribbon i the 1/8" Real Red taffeta. I filledthe test tubes with York Candy coated Peppermint Patties - like M&M's, but minty and blue & white!

I hope you enjoyed my project for today! Now just click on the button below and see what Becky has for you today!

Here is another simple but OH! so cute card. The Santa from this set, Jolly Old St. Nick, reminds me of the Santas from my youth! I hope that doesn't date me too much, LOL! ;-)

I made this card a 5" X 5" square using Cherry Cobbler card stock for the base. I die cut the scallop square with our silver waffle paper. In the holiday mini you get both the silver & gold waffle paper for 9.95. The paper is 8" wide and you get a total of 5 yards EACH!

I then wrapped the Real Red stripped ribbon around the card. I stamped the Santa on a piece of 3 1/2" square Whisper White card stock. Using my aquapainter, I colored in his hat with Cherry Cobbler. I then used Dazzling Diamonds glitter around the edge of his beard. It's a little hard to tell but for the ball on the end of his hat, his eyebrows, and his moustache, I used Illuminate top coat Smooch. Of course Santa needs rosy cheeks and for those I use Pink Pirouette marker!

I am so excited to be part of this tour! I love the holidays! When Fall arrives, I just love the colors. Now if the weather would cooperate with us all would be perfect! Just a little crispness in the air.

Here's an simple but elegant card. I am using the new paper from the Holiday mini, Deck the Halls. I layeed this on Crumb Cake card stock and then tied a bow using 5/8" real red satin ribbon. It's a little hard to to see but I used Versamark and a stamp from the Bells and Boughs set. The Merry Christmas is from the stamp set, inked with Cherry Cobbler, and punched with the new Decorative Label punch. I sponged around the label with Cherry Cobbler and attached to the card with Dimensionals! (I know it looks flat against the card, but thee really are dimensionals there! LOL)

I used this card for a team meeting card swap and just loved the vintage look. And easy-peasy!

Enjoy the rest of the tour! Your next stop is http://www.stampthat.com see what Becky is offering up today!

Here is another new set I love - Studio Sketches. It has a neat little feel to it! Of course, this has a bottle of wine, so it's my fav! LOL! Before I made the card, I "consulted" the new Color Coach! WOW! Is this tool awesome. This combo was a suggestion, I tried it and it works! Baja Breeze, Early Espresso, Pink Pirouette.

I did use a couple of retired items one this particular card but they are so easily changed. I used retired 1 1/4" striped Chocolate Chip ribbon and my favorite accessory.....Itty Bitty Backgrounds! ;-( I am sad to see that set go but we have the Color Spritzer!

Well, Gotta run for now. Stayed tuned for more new goodies. You never know when they will show up!~
