I used a limited palette of Black and White with touches of Red in the mixture. The painting was fun and hard to do. It measures 16"x12 and with the frame it measures 15"x19". The rose is depicted at a stage where the blossom is partially opened, showcasing some interior petal layers as well as the outer petals curving outward. The rose's stem and several green leaves are visible embodying the flower's delicate nature. The coloration suggests light playing across the petals at the edges, giving the flower a vibrant and somewhat velvety texture. I pick three colors and white to do a painting. This one I used French Ultramarine blue, Alizrin Crimson, Lemon Yellow and white. It makes you think and is a great exercise.</span> </div>
