FC Barcelona rode goals from Ivan Rakitic and Luis Suárez, and an injury-time clincher by Neymar Jr to claim the 2014/15 UEFA Champions League title on Saturday night at the Olympiastadion in Berlin, Germany.

The victory gives FC Barcelona their fourth Champions League title in the last 10 years — their fifth in team history — and an unprecedented second treble, adding a layer of reinforced concrete to the Catalans' already rock-solid status as a dynasty for the ages.

While annual modifications to any top-tier squad are inevitable, a steady core of players — led by the Argentinian virtuoso Lionel Messi — has anchored the Catalan club during a run of footballing dominance the likes of which has never been witnessed before. Over the past decade Barça have scooped up titles at a prolific pace with an astounding haul of 24 major trophies in six different competitions.

For FC Barcelona's first-year head coach Luis Enrique Martínez, his immense first year success mimmicks that of Pep Guardiola, who was also in his first year at the helm when Barça swept the same three titles back in the 2008/09. "Congratulations to all the Barça fans and family. It'll be a long night and then tomorrow we have the parade," Luis Enrique said on the field, before humbly adding, "After all these games, I'd just like to thank everyone who put their trust in me."

Saturday's win means they'll now have a chance to equal their 2009 record take of six championships in one year. Winning La Liga, the Spanish Cup, and the Champions League has earned them another shot at the Spanish and European Super Cups — to be disputed in August — as well as the FIFA Club World Cup, scheduled for December. Barça will almost certainly go into all three as the heavy favourites.

Although Juventus were vying for a treble of their own on Saturday, they came into the game as clear underdogs. When the final whistle echoed into the balmy Berlin night, it was clear why FC Barcelona had been so widely expected to take home the hardware.

After a nerve-racking start that included a pair of sloppy Barça turnovers deep in their own end, minute four yielded the game’s first goal when midfielder Ivan Rakitic slotted home a feed from Andrés Iniesta for a 1–0 lead. Messi, who found Neymar with a deep, cross-field pass that appeared to catch the Juve defence off-guard, brilliantly set up the play. Coming precisely at the 3:23 mark, the goal was FC Barcelona’s fastest ever in a European final. "That has to be the most important goal of my career,” Rakitic said after the game.

Juventus reacted by promptly clamping down on their back line, while allowing the Catalans to continue dominating possession. Other than one excellent scoring opportunity by blaugrana defender Dani Alves on 12 minutes that was deftly palmed away by goalkeeper Gianluigi Buffon, neither side enjoyed much more than a scattering of innocuous chances.

Four minutes after the break, in the 49th, Barça stormed out on a five-on-three counter attack, but Buffon made a brilliant save as Luis Suárez tried to sneak it inside the near post. Two minutes later, Suárez and Messi sent hard, open shots well over the net.

The Italians deployed a predictable strategy of aggressive midfield challenges throughout the encounter. And it finally paid off when they drew level after 55 minutes, taking advantage of a rare foray into the Barcelona penalty area. Carlos Tévez’s open shot was saved Marc-André ter Stegen, but the rebound kicked straight to Álvaro Morata, who dumped it into the open net.

Five minutes of injury time ticked away with a pair of substitutions and a stray corner kick before one last Barça counterattack. With victory assured and the final whistle inevitable, Neymar blew a shot past Buffon for the definitive 3–1 score, sending the FC Barcelona players, and their fans, into a state of euphoria.

Jump on the metro and head to Sants Estacio, then get the Renfe train to Sitges. You can use your T10 metro card (although technically you shouldn’t) and you’ll be in Sitges in 20 minutes. Even though it’s so close to the city, it has a completely different vibe. It’s clean and chic and you’ll totally understand why this is where the rich and famous Spaniards have their holiday homes. The broad board-walks are lined with tall palm trees and rows and rows of classic cafes and restaurants. The bars are surprisingly cheap considering the wealth this town attracts, but you may as well grab a couple of cold ones from a corner shop and hit the beach – the views are even better! You may also notice that Sitges is somewhat of a gay haven and the town is full of flamboyant gay bars and clubs. The town frequently erupts into extravagant festivals and the legendary Sitges Carnival is something I will never tire of. Sitges is simply amazing and has to be seen to be believed.

Unfortunately, one day for Barcelona is not enough, but we will try to visit as much as possible. How to manage your time right not to miss anything breathtaking? Read here!

In this article there is a plan for visiting Barcelona in one day. The purpose was to include the most important legendary historical cultural sites! Barcelona is a place where it is not possible to remain indifferent.

Let´s start our trip with the heart of Barcelona, the place without which no one could imagine Barcelona. This Barcelona´s treasure is Sagrada Familia. Sagrada Familia is the most colossal Antoni Gaudi´s masterpiece. It is still in the process of being finished! You can easily get here using metro Sagrada Familia. Any exit there will bring you to the cathedral. You can visit not only the cathedral itself (it takes you about 2 hours), bout also a permanent exhibition on the master´s work. From October to March the input is open from 9.00 to 18.00, and from April to September from 9.00 to 20.00. To visit Barcelona for one day we don’t have enough time to hang out Barcelona on foot, that’s why go to subway from Diagonal to Rambla de Catalunia. On the corner of 115 on this street you will find a church, called Parròquia de Sant Ramon de Penyafort. It was built in XIV century. This church is not popular, but worth to see. If do you want to explore altar neogótico of 1950 and the work of Claudi Rius, you should remember that its opening hours are at 1 p.m. or in the evening after 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Going down the La Rambla, going to Carrer d’Arago, where you should turn to go to Passeig de Gracia. Exactly there you will find two buildings that we are interested in. The first one is Casa Batlló, the second one is Casa Milá. The houses number 41 and 43. Antonio Gaudi created it. Casa Batlló was just like a simple house. But later on in 1904-1906 it was reconstructed on request Josep Batlló i Casanoves. Catalans call it Casa dels Ossos, because of its shapes. It remains bones. Since 2001 there is a museum and after that it is recognized as UNESCO World Heritage Site. There side by side you will find Casa Milá. It was built during 1906-1912. Another name is La Pedrera. Here at first Antonio Gaudi first time used a huge quantity of supporting columns. This way he could fancy arches. In 1984 it was recognized as World Heritage Site.

After that going down to Passeig de Gracia. Turn there left and that go along the avenue Gran Via de les Corts Catalanes to Carrer Roger de Lluria. We need the opposite site of the street. That along Carrer Roger de Lluria gp to Carrer Casp. There is located Casa Calvet, 1898-1900. This building has a name of its customer Pedro Martir Calvet the owner of the textile factory. If you go down the street or Carrer Bruc to Ronda de Sant Pere and turn right, in a few minutes we will be in the center of Plaça Catalunya. During the sunny days, here you can buy a special food for pigeons and feed them. It is an unforgettable little adventure. Because this little creatures get used to people and do not afraid of them. Some of the birds can sit down on you shoulder, head, and it is because of a handful of goodies. From there by Avinguda del Portal de l’Angel,from where goes Carrer Cucunulla, there we should turn left to Carrer Arcs, left to Carrer Boters, going down a little Carrer Palla, we will find Carrer Bisbe, where turning to the left we will find Plaça Seu. There is a Catedral de la Santa Cruz y Santa Eulalia de Barcelona. Its foundation was started in 1298. The building lasted for 2 hundred years. It was finished to 1420. Everything here is worth seeing - and bas-relief above the entrance, the interior, the main altar, stained glass and do not forget to pay attention to the keystones. After the exit from the Catedral de la Santa Cruz y Santa Eulalia de Barcelona. Go it around by Carrer dels Comptes and turn to Carrer Pietat. Because it is a Barrio Gótico. Surely, Spain is famous for its culture, traditions, festivals and fiestas! But this one was just something really charming.

Today I really was like in my childhood. I had a lot of fun! I saw many interesting mysterious creatures, kings, dancing people. It seems like all people in Barcelona came to watch it!

600.000 persons were there!

It’s unbelievable, but there was no place where to stay! I used my camera not only for making pictures and videos and for to see something! I was satisfied and I didn’t notice how it was coming to end! The most unexpected thing for me was candy rain!!!

Oh my god! Really?) I’ve never seen a candy rain. Today was my first time. I was crazy about it. Unfortunately, the candies were over and parade was finished… Oh…I couldn’t describe my feelings…

I wish to become a child again and go for my presents) Thanks Barcelona for making people a little happier!

“Gran cabalgata de Reyes de Barcelona” is the most magic night during all year in Barcelona! Their Three King’s Parade also known in Barcelona like (Reyes Magos) come to children on the 5th of January. They come to smallest and youngers a little bit before children will visit children’s home to give to them presents! But the presents receive only those children who was obedient, good and amenable and lisyening to their parents every day! On 5th day of January during the evening in Barcelona Parade (Reyes Magos) with their impressive entourage arrive by sea to the port of Barcelona and then they go through the town center handing round candy to children before the magic night that is coming.

This year Barcelona decided to surprise it´s citizens and all the guests!

The rumors of an official event being organized by the Barcelona City Hall on the Maria Cristina Boulevard were true. Youtube Barcelona´s New Year Fireworks The New Year 2014 was celebrated on the new location. For the first time, the Strokes New Year was held at the Magic Fountain of Montjuïc (Avenida de la Reina Maria Cristina).
The event was free! It included visual display, fireworks and a 15 meter sculpture representing the spirit of the city. The New Year celebration in Barcelona lasting from 23.30 h, the performance of L'home del mil • lenni, human towers and other music and fun ideas that made the last night of the year a unique experience for everyone who wanted to celebrate the arrival of 2014 live enjoy this show. The completion of the celebration was scheduled at 00.30 h.

The atmosphere was really amazing!

Don´t afraid to be cold!

Don’t you know how to celebrate New Year? In Barcelona it is a lot of fun and enjoyment! On the 1st of January Spanish people just diving in the sea! It’s true! It’s not a joke! This kind of tradition exist from 1996 on the San Sebastian beach. This event is well-known as the “First swimming in New Year”. The swimming club “Atletic” is the organizer of this interesting event. “Atletic” is a sport center, located on the San Sebastian beach where you could find a few swimming pools and fitness-centers. Everyone can take part in this event and it is totally free! If do you want to take a warm shower after that and receive diploma as a trophy you should register on the club’s reception. In Barcelona well-known "Els llums de Nadal." It is special lights for Merry Christmas in Barcelona. Christmas stars when the Mayor of Barcelona are switched on all the lights every year. This year the lights were turned on the 22nd of November. The Barcelona Shopping night that helds every year is more popoular even than Christmas shoppping with its shopping festivals, and popular Christmas fashionable shopping street well known as Passeig de Gracia. During Christmas time in Barcelona you will find the christmas light on more than 390 spots and streets with illumination that that cover for about 85km.

One more popular tourist destination is Magic Fountain of Monjuic in Barcelona. During Christmas period thid fountain has a special Christmas water and music show.

This special free show you can watch on Fridays and Saturdays in December 2013 and on 25th December and 1st January between 19:00 to 21:00. But it could be cold, so take care about yourself and dress warmly. Torre Agbar in the Sant Marti district is one more unusual Christmas show, which lights up with a special Christmas light show from 18:00 to 23:00.

Today the 30th of November active citizens in Barcelona appeared to protect Ukrainian right to be in European Union! Everyone knows that Ukraine is not in the best relationship with European Union, but it was a great chance for Ukraine people become one step closer to Europe. Who could answer why our people suffer from inappropriate behavior of some of the head of the state? Where is the root of non-human behavior to Ukrainian people?

The series of protests well known in the world as the EuroMaidan. The protest in Ukraine started on the night of 21 November, 2013. On the 21st of November, 2013 the protest for better life started out. In the capital of Ukraine in Kiev people begun protesting. The main challenge is we want better life and Ukraine worth of it and deserve it!

The series of protest were throughout the Europe, so we can’t stay aside!!! A few people, but WE CAN change the world!!!
