Barcelona Student podcasts

During July, students of the British Council in Barcelona produced two podcasts about culture for the website 'Sushi Radio'.

These were :

Traditional Spanish Music and Barcelona

The first of these podcasts is available to listen to and download now, and the second should be available soon.

Following on from this, Barcelona Young Learners EFL Podcasts will be concentrating on podcasts by students in Barcelona, for students all over, once term starts again in October.

The first podcast is for Primary learners, and features the Happy Hatters with their fabulous song 'Perry the Parrot's ABC' - a great way to learn the alphabet. The Happy Hatters CD has lots more catchy tunes on it.

Hello and welcome to the Barcelona Young Learners Podcast site.

What is a podcast?

A podcast is an mp3 auio file that can be similar to a radio show, but which you can download and listen in your mp3 player, or on your computer at home.

On this site you will be able to listen to audio files in English, but if you really want to be cool, download the free program called iPodder to your computer at home and then listen to the English podcast in your mp3 player when you are on the train, on the way to school, etc.

The iPodder program can download the podcast to your mp3 player automatically as soon as a new podcast becomes available.
