I have been busy sewing, just a bit slack on sharing photos here.

So here are a few of the 2018 cubs

So, yes these cubs have been custom ordered

and found homes.

Meet Angel & Star

custom cubs commissioned and created

for Lynda & her brother -

from their mothers mink fur coat.

With matching suede paw pads

to bring out the natural colours of the mink

Many mink coat may just hang in a back cupboard

until its eventually discarded, such a shame.

I'm glad these 2 little cubs have a second life

and can be loved for many years to come.

A package to inspire

Do you love to receive mail?

I'm not talking bills, I mean real mail?

Today I received a parcel from a beautiful friend

and collector, a box full of inspiration!

It was like christmas, opening each little package

to see what it held.

Just look at these beautiful Laduree boxes.

Some arrive today to add to the collection

I received a little while ago.

I am so in love with the Laduree packaging!

Can you just imagine the cub collection this will inspire??

Amazing!

And these little "sweet" tins.

And ribbons, oh the ribbons! I couldn't help it,

I un-rolled just a few of the bundles -

but the rest I am going to sit back tonight

and enjoy looking at each one.

It's been such a busy time, with changes at work,

and preparing for the show in only 2 weeks!

I've been feeling a little flat and exhausted,

but this parcel really lifted my spirits.

I'm so lucky to meet such amazing women,

from creating my cubs.

I have been making a few custom cubs

and of course some for the Melbourne Bear Bazzar

I'll be sure to show them here soon,

for those who can't make it to the show.

Things are coming along

A quick update to let you know, things are coming along.

I'm working double-time to crate the

fresh new look website and blog

and of course the platform for the

bear making courses.

But with all of this going on,

I have still managed to make some bears.

"Chou"

(Japanese for butterfly)

"Charlie"

(from the chocolate factory)

A new Collection inspired by ice-cream cones

"Double Trouble"

These sweet hearts have been adopted,

and Chou has been used on the fresh new

Time for something new

I thought it was about time I shared with you something new I've been working on.

As you know this year has been a busy one already for me.

A workshop a at Cottonwool Creations, and another 3 booked at Bear Essence in October.

That's 40 mink bear kits, traced, lined, cut and ready to sew!

If that were not enough on top of working full time and sewing bears.

I'm really touched that so many of you want to make a bear with me.

I even have one wonderful new friend coming from New Zealand to take my class!

Wow - how is that!

I'm so excited by it all. I can't wait to be at the Bear Bazzar show too!

I better make some bears.

In the meantime I have had the idea to create an online course.

An online workshop with me, for you, in your own home.

All will be revealed soon!

In the meantime, I can promise you

while you might not be seeing the weekly blog post,

things are happening here.

I'm on holidays from work, but it's a "Stay"cation for me.

I'm here busy creating the Masterclass for you.

As always, I never do things by half, so I will be launching a

new website, new blog, and a course platform!

I've been very busy today in Photoshop, something else I had to learn

taking photos and transforming screenshots

for my new staged graphics.

Chengdu in China the biggest park for panda preservation

where she was able to see newborn pandas!
