Guess what! I actually am forming a plan for the blog, but it involves a move. I'm going to move over to Wordpress, add voting and soon you'll be able to nominate cards that you find online and vote on the ones you like the best. On Friday, we'll truly have a Card of the Week, voted on by you!

I'm still working on the details, but I think I'll have it up and running by the middle of next week. Stay tuned!

By the way, I saw a full rainbow the other day and it was pretty magical. I did take a picture -- even a video, but I'm afraid I didn't have quite this reaction...

Going 'round and round!

Mark's Finest Papers gave us a challenge -- create a project, any project, but it must feature circles. We were up for the task.

The Supernovas are all using stamps from Mark's Finest Papers.

The stamp set I'm using is Speedy the Cat's Friends. I have 3 cats (this qualifies me as a crazy cat lady) and I couldn't resist using one of them in my card...

Here's a closer look that shows you how you might couple this card with a gift.

I used one stamp with several different inks to create a cat themed background paper. I used Staz-on to stamp the sentiment directly on the photo. This is a trick I love to use for scrapbooking too.

The circles are cut in half and used as a border here to function instead of ribbon. I stitched them on and curled the bottoms to give the card a little dimension and texture.

OK, now it's your turn! Make a card with a circle on it and you could win the Apples and Camellia Stamp Set from Mark's Finest Papers. All you need to do is tag your card "mfp01" and upload it to the Planet. We'll be keeping an album for everyone that shows off all the entries so far!

Bling me up, baby!

Today we have a really special blog hop and challenge going on all around the Planet! It's all about BLING!

You can call it paper make-up, jewelry, bling, whatever -- it's that little bit of glaze, glitter and dazzle that you ad to your cards to give them that "finishing touch". The Supernovas are using the new Petal Press stamps, Summer Garden, for our projects from i{heart}papers and we'll show you just how versatile one stamp set can be!

Here's my card -

This card is all gussied up! I used glassy glaze on the vase, Copic Spica glitter pen on the petals and Viva Pearl Pens around the circle die. The flowers themselves are colored with Copics . When you hold the card in your hand, it's all sparkle.

Paper Craft Planet Color Challenge #74

I had SO much fun working up today's color challenge. I was stuck on colors since Millie used red, white and blue for last week. I decided that the best place to find a color inspiration piece would be to flip through my magazines, so I grabbed Southern Living and started flipping. (Side note, my husband rolled his eyes when I said I was working.)

I came across this beautiful photo all about hydrangeas. I have a beautiful bush right outside my window and it started the wheels turning. My bush happens to be blue.... my new Creative Imaginations papers are pink, blue and green, my new Elizabeth Bell stamp has flowers on it, AND I have Summertime Flower Soft sitting on my desk! Destiny. I love it when a plan comes together.

Moments in Time Boy's Sports Toppers, Sage and Sand Ultra Fine Flower Soft, Flower Soft Glue

For those of you that would like to play along, create a card or project using this week's color combo of pink, green and light blue. I just love Elizabeth's images. They are so beautifully drawn and they are really fun to color. This image is called "Go Green". I colored her with Copic markers and sponged a background of blue sky behind her. The sentiment is an old SU stamp that I had in the cabinet. The cute little purse is from a K&Company collection I've had for awhile. I matched all the colors on the card to go with the flowers on the bag. I think this would be perfect for a small gift, like earrings.

All the images in the collection are GORGEOUS -- just wait til you see what the other girls created.

Thank you to all my readers who emailed me or commented in worry over my longer than planned absence. We had end of the year, baseball tournament, vacation and other chaos all at once. I did what I never do -- closed the computer and enjoyed. I highly recommend it.

Here's the problem:

I came home to more blog posts than I could read, so I "marked them all as read" and started fresh. The next day, I was already back up to 700 new blog posts -- and MOST of them include fantastic projects. I can't keep up. Well, I can't keep up AND have a life. I've discovered I like having a life. I'm even sometimes pretty fun.

I'm working on a solution. It will probably be a complete dump of the way I currently tag blogs and go back to a short list (less than 10) of my favorite projects each week. I'd love solutions if you have them.
