I'm so sorry for the delay... some weeks are just like that I guess.

This sketch is a simple one that can be adapted to digital or traditional scrapping. The sketch is designed for 4 pictures and some elements and journaling, or just up the number of pictures for an easy tweak. Here's my take:

My son's both play baseball, two seasons a year, so I do a lot of sports layouts. Unfortunately, I've had the paper and stickers for some time that are featured here and I no longer remember where they came from! All supplies were purchased at Archivers....

I used Kelleigh's directions and instead of a ribbon binding, I used my Bind-it-all. It fits nicely in my wallet and supports this year's resolution to get my finances under control. Christmas planner 

This planner was really simple and quick to make.  I bought the organizer at Target, for $3.99.  The planner came with three tabs and really generous pockets.  The red binding was already there, so all I had to do was just recover the rest of the binder in a coordinating paper.  I covered the inside and outside with Cosmo Cricket's Jolly by Golly patterned paper.  I printed "Christmas Planner," using my word processing program, onto vanilla cardstock and then just cut the shape out with my Labels 9 Nestabilities.  Add some ribbon and label your tabs and you're done!

This week, I'm challenging you to make your own planner.  You can make one to hold birthday cards, as a calendar for next year, to organize your grocery shopping, or get your holidays under control.  Take a picture of your planner and tag your photo 3d40 (all lowercase) so that we can pull your project into our gallery. (If you're new to Paper Craft Planet, here is an excellent tutorial on adding photos to the gallery!) Next Wednesday, we'll pick one lucky, random, winner from our challenge players to win this generous prize!

How cute is this?! It's off the Snow Globe CD -- you just print it and cut it out and insert the display globe! I used some Tim Holtz distress ink in straw to create the yellow background and the rest was just glue and fill! I love feeling like I made something fantastic, but really it took me 10 minutes. Hee Hee. Here is the inside. I made this cute pocket to hold a packet of cocoa. I added another Flower Soft snowman to complete the card. It makes me smile just to look at it.

I had so much fun, I decided to make a second card...

I had to do the inside here too. I'm in love with the snowman...

The sentiment is an Eskimo saying that I saw on a stamp set somewhere (can't remember). I used my computer to print several of them and then just cut it out with Nestabilities. The patterned paper is retired SU. I used a Versamark pen to highlight the debossed edge and to create a false mat near the edge. Truthfully, you can make this card in about 15 minutes. You have to like a quick card :) OK, to play along, create a card using this sketch. Tag it "sk121209" so that I can find it for our gallery album. I had SO MUCH FUN with today's project!!!!! When I found these adorable snowmen images on The Stamping Boutique's website, I knew I had to use them for these dish towels! (My original idea was dinner napkins, but post-Thanksgiving, I couldn't find them.) I love how they turned out and for less than $20, I have a custom gift that will be kept from year to year.

To create these towels, I simply printed the images onto Avery iron-on transfer paper -- I got mine at Target. If you can find the "stretchable" version, buy it -- but any light fabric transfer paper works beautifully. I've successfully colored the images with Copics and pencils in the past, but today, I was having trouble, so I colored them on my computer. I've whipped up a video for you to see how to do this for yourself.

The nice thing about digital coloring is that you color once and save it -- and can print your finished image over and over again. I'm going to print these same snowmen onto inkjet shrink film tomorrow and make wine charms to go with the towels!
