So your kid got a hold of a permanent marker and had a field day with decorating the house? Been there – done there. Here is how to remove permanent marker from the various objects your kid may have colored on!

Remove Permanent Marker from Carpet

Use white vinegar. Pour and then blot on the permanent marker carpet stain.

Remove Permanent Marker from Skin

Tea tree oil is the best non-toxic permanent marker remover for use on skin. Tooth paste left on the mark for several minutes, then scrubbed off typically works as well.

Remove Permanent Marker from Painted Walls

Good ol’ Magic Eraser will do wonders on painted walls that have been marked on with permanent markers.

Remove Permanent Marker from Wood

Rubbing alcohol or tooth paste both work well on removing permanent marker from wood.
