I don't think it's a coincidence that my astrological sign happens to be that of a Gemini. And that I was born in May with a birthstone of emerald-y green because I pretty much go gaga over anything (green) that I see. And if it's super dark and rich in color and comes in a soft, pretty velvet like no other - well then, that's all the better. But to have it so expertly paired with a golden and gilded platform there? Gosh. Nothing compares.
