I may not be working on the Pandora's Caja page actively any longer, but I owe the inspiration of my writing persona to this ever increasingly handsome, over the top talented Latin Hottie Chayanne! So how could I resist! There's a new album out, a tour getting ready to take off and one of the most beautiful ballads that I've heard since Te Echo de Menos (my personal favorite) Di Qué Sientes Tú. I don't know how I can put this into words. Hearing a new ballad from Chayanne is like giving the heart a breath of happiness and sadness all in one. I love to feel heartbroken with his sappy love songs (just not in real life lol).

During our very recent interview with up and coming Latin singer and composer Xandro Leima, we talked about his new album "Persiguiendo un Sueno". A few days ago, I received what now seems to be quite a terrible accusation. This accusation is worsen by the fact that it came from someone who should know me much better than what I now think she does.

My friends, I have been accused of "being in love, with love itself". Even as I type this, I cannot help but raise one eyebrow and roll my eyes in disbelief. I will not get too deep into what has triggered the accusation but, I do wonder this much...

SINCE WHEN HAS BEING PASSIONATE ABOUT PEOPLE AND THINGS YOU LOVE BECOME DISINGENUOUS?

We live in a world where people are very opinionated. I mean.. look at what I am doing right now. Writing my opinion on a blog, and maybe one or two of you will see the comment box below and give your opinion as well (I hope you do!). However, I think there is a very fine line between having an opinion and trying to enforce your opinion against someone, especially when you have absolutely no known experience on the subject in your life's resume.

So am I in love, with love itself rather than the people, animals and inanimate objects that fill my life with joy? Well, I am sure by my tone you can already guess the answer is "NO!".

We are all born into this world knowing exactly what love is. Just look at the relationship between parent and child. Love is displayed from both sides a second after birth. Unfortunately, as we grow older love becomes more complicated and difficult to find in people and things. But the fact that it's difficult to find... does not mean you have no idea what it is or that you have an unreal idealistic view of it.

This accusation made me think of one of my life's love. CHAYANNE (of course! lol!). His discography is the soundtrack to my life, if you didn't already know this about me. Particularly, in regards to this subject, the song Tal Vez Es Amor (Maybe It's Love). Please enjoy this translation. It is one of my favorite songs. ¡Esta canción me inspira mucho! Nos dice como no debemos de esperar a que las cosas nos caigan del cielo. Hay que tener coraje y fuerza y luchar por nuestros sueños y por todas esas cosas que queremos hacer. El ser humano muchas veces siente miedo a lo desconocido y por esta razón no se atreve a luchar por sus metas. Hay que dejar este miedo atrás y mirar a la vida y a nuestro futuro con certeza. "Que Será Será... Lo que será, será ..." Esta es una cita muy famosa de un clásico. Lo curioso es que esta línea siempre me hace reflexionar acerca de los problemas desconocidos de la vida. ¿Cree usted que lo que sucede en su vida es siempre lo mejor o que tal vez lo que sucede es por el mero hecho del destino? ¿Acepta Ud. el fracaso y el éxito como parte de su suerte? Esta canción de Ricky Martin tiene parte de esta famosa cita en el título y la canción es muy impactante. Esta canción nos da las alas que necesitamos para volar y, a veces necesitamos un empujoncito para perseguir nuestros sueños. Hoy tuve una conversación con una querida amiga y empezamos a hablar de nuestros sueños. Ella me dijo que yo tenía el potencial para avanzar en la vida y que todo lo que necesitaba hacer era esforzarme y poner mi plan en acción. Esto hizo que las ruedas en mi cabecita comenzaran a girar y realmente me abrió los ojos y la mente y me dio una nueva perspectiva en la vida. Inmediatamente después de esta conversación escogí esta canción de Ricky para traducirla y cuando la leí me di cuenta que habla de este mismo tema. ¿Coincidencia? ¡No lo creo! ‘Que Será Será …Whatever will be, will be…” This is a very famous quote from an old country classic. The funny thing is that this line always makes me ponder about life’s unknown issues. Do you believe that what happens in your life is always for the best or that perhaps what happens is merely because of destiny? Do you accept failure and success as luck? Well this song by Ricky Martin has part of this famous quote in its title and the song is very empowering. This song gives you the wings that you need to fly, and sometimes we need a little push to pursue our dreams. I was having a conversation with a dear friend today and we started talking about our dreams. She told me that I had the potential to move ahead in life and that all I needed to do was to push myself and make it happen. This made the wheels in my busy little head start turning and it really opened my eyes and mind and gave me a new perspective in life. Right after this conversation I randomly picked one of Ricky Martin’s songs to translate and it ended up being this one which is about the exact same subject. Coincidence? I think not! So today I learned that we all need a good friend not only to support us, but to give us that nudge that we so desperately need in order to reach our goals (thank you my friend ;-). Esta canción de Ricky Martin me llena de alegría de pies a cabeza! ¡En ella Ricky captura su felicidad por el momento tan lindo que está viviendo en su vida! Les cuento que todas las mañanas cuando manejo al trabajo a eso de las 6:30am pongo esta canción en mi automóvil con el volumen a lo máximo y para mi esta es la mejor forma de empezar mi día. La canción me transforma y me sube el espíritu. ¡Le doy gracias Ricky Martin por esta bella melodía que hace que yo también me sienta al fin feliz!

This Ricky Martin song makes me happy from head to toe. This animated song captures the beautiful moment that Ricky is living right now. I have to tell you that every morning while I’m driving to work, at around 6:30am, I blast this song in my car and it totally changes my mood and uplifts my spirit. I get many strange looks from other drivers but I really don’t care because I am having the time of my life singing along. The song totally transforms my mood and I start my day on a positive note. I thank Ricky Martin for this beautiful melody that he created and I have to say that I too am as happy as I can be!

Esta canción "Frío" es una con la que muchas personas pueden identificarse. ¿Cuántas veces se ha hido entre tus manos, corazón, y vida aquella persona especial?¡Hablemos de cuanto duele….duele muchísimo! Usted se siente vacio por dentro, como si le arrancaron un pedazo del corazón y del alma. Cuando usted tiene una relación especial con alguien y de repente esa relación llega a su final puede ser muy desvastador. Como Ricky dice en esta canción, la persona se siente tan distante y fría y la compara con la nieve.

This song is very straightforward and this is the reason why I like it. It talks about being honest and open in a relationship. I believe that truth fears no question so why not go into a relationship like an open book and let it blossom from there? It feels so great to be loved for who you are without having to pretend to be someone you are not and lying about the person you are inside. I admit that we all have lied at some point or another but it is never too late to come clean and start fresh. Every lie has a consequence so why put yourself in such a difficult situation? Basta Ya, uno de los sencillos del nuevo álbum de Ricky Martin es más que una canción, es un lema de vida. Me encantan las palabras, el ritmo, y la voz en la que Ricky la interpreta, llena de emoción, dolor, y determinación. Cualquier persona que esté pasando por una situación difícil en la cual no pueda expresar lo que siente y al mismo tiempo siente miedo de ser lo que verdaderamente es, entonces se puede identificar con esta canción. Otra razón por la cual me gusta tanto esta canción es porque cuando la escucho me da fuerza para enfrentar la vida y buscarle solución a cualquier problema al que me enfrente. Ricky encontró su felicidad y dijo que esta canción define su vida en este momento. Espero que disfruten esta bella canción y al igual que yo descubran en ella algo que los motive y los haga una mejor persona.

I love the words, rhythm, and voice in which Ricky sings it, full of emotion, pain and determination. Another reason I like this song so much is because when I hear it gives me strength to face life and find a solution to any problem that might come my way. Ricky finally found his happiness and said that this song defines his life right now.
