Great article on PJ media by Jean Kaufman I really identify with. ... Take special note to the last sentence I highlight here. Anger from some old and close friends was really hard to bear, for it showed me how really closed minded they were to my sensitivity on issues that we still share but which I see in a new light.

Old friends don't understand, since childhood I have been on a journey for truth and understanding, and for me at this point of my life it is obvious that being a conservative is the only honest logical choice for one that needs truth and honesty in one's life.... complete understanding may only come after the resurrection....

There is a ugly side to Solar power people just don't talk about. First we will susidize the making of the panels but soon we will need super funds pay for cost to clean up the ugly side of solar power - millions of poubds of hazardous waste. From the Daily Reporter Feb 18, 2013:

"While solar is a far less polluting energy source than coal or natural gas, many panel makers are nevertheless grappling with a hazardous waste problem. Fueled partly by billions in government incentives, the industry is creating millions of solar panels each year and, in the process, millions of pounds of polluted sludge and contaminated water.

To dispose of the material, the companies must move it by truck or rail far from their own plants to waste plants hundreds and, in some cases, thousands of miles away."

When our finding fathers wrote the 2nd amendment they had just finished a war of revolt against an out-of-touch despotic and elitist control government, that sent its troops with muskets to control the people that dared to demand to have a say in how to live their lives, while the people also had muskets, they also had an advanced weapon called the” rifle”, for which they used to put the elitist in their place and the power into the “people’s” control.

The 2nd amendment is not about hunting but defense, self-defense and common defense. Gun Control is all about controlling the working class, the lower classes, which include the majority of minorities.

Some are saying the Gun rights people are racist, but if you want to cry racism you better understand who is still on the top tier of power. The last time I looked it still appears to be a bunch of elitist over-educated white guys in control struggling to keep the shackles on the rest of us.
We need to understand history and our history teaches that the 14th amendment was needed and passed to give ex-slaves the guarantee that they have the same individual rights as other native born and naturalized Americans outlined in the bill of rights. Basic rights that racist pushed hard to block them from having, especially the 2^nd amendment.

History teaches us the same party which passed all those black code laws in the South aimed to keep ex-slaves disarmed and under their control is currently leading and at the forefront of taking away 2^nd amendment rihgts from the masses.

writes in the following linked story about the NY Times attempt to play down the anti-Christian aspect of the Nigerian Muslim militant group Boko Haram, killing of at least 39 people with their Christmas attack. Mr. Ibrahim points out the NYT use of the word “senseless” to describe the attacks. Such word use happens many times when the main line press wants to direct their message away from obvious conclusions, in this instance that the Muslim militant group Boko Haram main goals are anything but the eradication of Christians, Jews and/or any group, persons or people that hold to non-Muslim ways of life that is different in the way that they see it.

When President John Kennedy was shot it was classified as a “senseless” assassination by a lone gunman, as well as Martin Luther King Jr’s shooting and Robert Kennedy’s. In reality the older Kennedy brother was shot by a self-proclaimed Marxist who shot Kennedy to further the aims of communism, the younger Kennedy was shot by a Muslim in one of the first shots fired in the name of Jihad, and King was shot by a racist who didn’t want to see the Democratic Party’s century long held views of separation of race and the party’s straggled hold on African Americans to change.

Each of these incidents had thought out agenda’s and cannot be truly termed as senseless, even if those of us that believe in freedom are appalled by the same actions and see them as evil. Our ever growing political-correct culture does not want to accept the idea that all of mankind does not or even would choose not to hold to basic ideas of decency or shared views which the “enlighten” Westerner holds dear. In reality that decency we expect others to have was originally shaped by a Judeo-Christian belief system which the West has come to dismiss as superstition and myth.

So why does the main stream media want to view the killings in Nigeria as senseless? Either they are so ignorant to understand that there is an evil out there that sees Christianity and the West as a threat to their evil intentions and that threat must be destroyed. Either that or the main stream media is in league, by design or subconsciously with that evil, and by media’s continuous attacks on Christianity and those that practice it, it could honestly be said this idea may no longer be a random conspiracy theory…

Father Michael Pfleger met with Cardinal George this week, evidently to discuss a move out of St. Sabina parish. Father Pfleger, a fiery political activist, has drawn criticism for several public statements. In 2008 he was disciplined with a short leave of absence after he mocked Hillary Clinton, then a Democratic candidate who was opposed Father Pfleger’s own favorite contender, Barack Obama. Last year he was called on the carpet once again after delivering a sermon in which he said flatly that “there should be women priests.”

About time!

This man is a disgrace to his vocation. He should not only be removed from his parish but be considered to be defrocked. How can a priest such as him be allowed to stay and spread his messages of discord for thirty years? does he have something over The Bishop that may need to be exposed? It just makes you wonder, with all the past cover ups, how he has been given special privilege being so hateful and spreading false messages in the name of Catholicism.

Forgive me Lord for being angry, I just don't understand...

Moving and sharing my space, sharing myself

Things are moving faster then I can keep up with. Like that is news? I have my own domain name www.barryfreedman.com and will be posting my blog from there. I need to find time to blog on a regular basis, but it is hard to find time with a day job and all. I know the world is turning and burning.

My only real hope lays in the coming with the King, but he told us He was returning when lest would expect it. Tell we we need to be productive, spreading His word, mainly in the way we walk, with a sprinkle of talk and lot of His Grace.

A lot of times we define ourselves by what we belong to, and sometimes by what we refuse to belong to, and/or allow ourselves to be owned by. We must choose what we serve and/or who we serve. To serve our own self interest can sometimes make us slaves to others' false ideas of what is right, what is justice.

Justice is the act of not having what belongs to you taken away.

Mercy is to withhold punishment for evils that are committed.

Charity is to be given freely not by demand or threat.

When I am able to freely decide how to share what belongs to me, that becomes gift of grace that I receive. But if I demand others to give up what is theirs so that I may have more, then I become a thief and a thug.

These are just random thoughts.

The irony or the outrage in this story is that the "villains" of this piece -- conservative Christians and Republican politicians -- were not allowed to speak. NPR reporter Neda Ulaby quoted only the two left-wing curators of the exhibit, a left-wing critic for the Village Voice, and a left-wing man protesting the apparently ruined exhibit.

The most outrageous part was this soundbite of co-curator Jonathan Katz: "It's no longer the same game that it was 15, 20 years ago, where you simply had to point out the homo and yell 'Kill it!' And the mob attacked. Now, you have to clothe your homophobia in something else."

Homosexuals are doing a well enough job of killing themselves off, they do not need the help of conservative Christians and Republican politicians. The "Gay" movement should be renamed the movement of death, for the are truly the standard bearers of self loathing and self destruction. The faster we defund NPR the better. As for me I have already cancelled by membership to the Smithsonian. Sharp tongues are not sexy, cute, nor instruments of love and understanding....
