Celebrities reveal Christmas gift wish lists

A yacht, a Ferrari, a pasta maker, and underwear are some of the items on celebrity Christmas gift wish lists this year. At least one star wants four more years, while another star hopes for a little respect.

Hugh Grant wants a Terry’s Chocolate Orange for Christmas and Claudia Schiffer would like a male tortoise and trainers.

Schiffer and Grant revealed their Christmas gift wish lists for the annual Christmas Stocking Auction held Dec. 3 and organized by Macmillan Cancer Relief. “Dream stockings” full of gifts based on the celebrity gift wish lists were offered for auction.

Schiffer also wants a book about yoga, a box of After Eight chocolates, a bottle of red wine and Agent Provocateur underwear, reports the Daily Mail.

Grant would also like a Richard James shirt, Gucci sunglasses, three pairs of black Pantherella socks, and Adidas trainers

Hugh Laurie wants a Steinway concert grand piano, a Triumph 955i motorcycle, and a 30-foot yacht, reports the Daily Mail.

Scarlett Johansson says her Christmas gift wish list includes four more years for President Obama. “I hope 2012 brings a re-election for President Obama,” Johansson told Hollywood Life.

A pasta maker is on Taylor Swift’s holiday wish list. Swift says she also hopes to receive antique picture frames and “anything from Free People or Anthropologie,” according to People.

Brooke Shields wants fruit. “All I want for Christmas is something that will encourage my family to eat healthfully all year long, which is why I love the Harry and David Fruit-of-the-Month Club”, Shields told Shape Magazine. “It’s a long-standing tradition in my family that started when I was a kid.”

Sandra Bullock said her 2-year-old baby, Louis, will not get a Christmas gift. Bullock went on to tell Access Hollywood that she was only joking. Bullock said she actually plans to throw a lavish holiday party for Louis.

Avril Lavigne wants chef’s knives for Christmas. Lavigne also told Popcrush she’s received some strange Christmas gifts from her fans over the years, including a a wedding dress from a Korean fan.

Paris Hilton bought one of the gifts on her Christmas list in November. E!Online reports the 30-year-old heiress got herself a red 2012 California Spyder Ferrari worth about $300,000. Hilton bought the car on Black Friday, Nov. 25. The same day, Hilton posted a twitter message: “Just drove my new car for the first time. Such a beautiful car and so much fun to drive! I love it! #YES! I ♡ Fast Cars!”

Gary Busey, star of “Celebrity Wife Swap,” told FOX News he’s sending his love to everyone for Christmas, and in return, he’s looking for love. “All I want for Christmas is love and respect,” Busey said.

Justin Bieber says underwear is on his Christmas gift wish list.

Hollywood Life reports that Bieber told Hollywood Teen TV he wants briefs, and some family time. “For this Christmas, I just want to be with my family,” Bieber said. “I don’t really have any requests…except for socks and underwear because I just run out of them a lot.”

Free to fish in the Lakeside lake!

ONE of the biggest cans of worms in the history of Cardinia Council has been closed, with fishing to be allowed at Lakeside.
A resident who was pleased with the decision presented councillor Graeme Moore with a container full of worms as the decision to support fishing in the lake was handed down at Monday night’s council meeting.

Mr Whippy ice cream vendor bashed and robbed after refusing to dish out free soft serve

A MR WHIPPY ice cream vendor has been beaten and robbed in New Zealand after he refused to dish out free soft serve. The man who was selling ice cream in Bay of Plenty in the North Island, tried to drive away after a customer became agitated there would be no freebies, but before he had a chance the customer threw a bottle at him and leapt through the service window of the van. Police are still searching for the suspect who is described as being a male Maori aged approximately 16 to 20 years of age with a thin to medium build. The victim’s employer who declined to be named said he was horrified by the incident. The franchise owner says he had been in the mobile ice cream industry for 20 years and has never heard of a vendor being attacked in his vehicle.

Gangster: check out Mokbel’s former home now for rent

If you’ve ever wanted to live the lifestyle of a real-life underworld gangster, here’s your chance.

Unless you’ve been living under a rock the past few years, you will no doubt know the story of former underworld king pin Tony Mokbel who features prominently in Channel Nine’s Underbelly series.

Tony Mokbel’s former family home, in Brunswick, Victoria, has been put on the rental market for a modest $1300 a week!

The five bedroom mansion at 9–11 Downs Street (pictured) was offered for sale early last year, but the listing, nor sale, which settled earlier this year, could be reported because of a recently lifted suppression order.

The double storey, five bedroom family home features a massive open plan entertainer’s timber kitchen/family room, separate formal dining and lounge with gas log heater, study, rumpus room, two bathrooms and master bedroom with balcony.

In 1997, police discovered an amphetamine laboratory on a property controlled by Mokbel next door to the family home. The lab is believed responsible for elevating him from a mid-level drug trafficker in the early 1990s to one of the biggest supplier’s of drugs by the end of the decade.

Mokbel later bulldozed the laboratory and added the magnificent resort style swimming pool and palm trees that can be seen on the property today.

Prince William, Kate escape to secret honeymoon spot

Newlyweds Prince William and Catherine have begun their honeymoon, St James’s Palace said, while trying to keep the couple’s destination a closely guarded secret.

The royal newlyweds are hoping to keep their holiday private, in contrast to their fairytale April 29 wedding, watched by an estimated one million people on the London streets and two billion on television around the world.

Newspapers said they had flown to the Seychelles to stay on an isolated island. The pair took a week-long break there in August 2007. The honeymoon is the first test of the British media’s behaviour towards the couple, with the palace warning it will take action against news outlets if they pursue the newlyweds.

“They have left for their honeymoon,” a spokesman for William’s office said, adding that they went “earlier this week”. On their destination, St James’s Palace will only say that it is “abroad”. “We are not confirming and we are not commenting on speculation on where they may be going on their private honeymoon. We are just confirming that they have gone,” the spokesman said.
