No experience necessary.  We will provide you with the training and the knowledge to get there.  Be a part of a successful tradition here at Bartlett.  You don’t know it now, but it will be the best decision that you have ever made. Taj Showalter broke the region record in the 300 hurdles and tied the record in the 110 hurdles. He also won those two races, was third in the 200 meters, and was part of the 4 by 200 meter relay team going to state.

Tommy Dolan won the 1600 meters.  It is the first time since 2000 that a Bartlett runner has won the 1600 meters at the Region championships.  Tommy also finished second in the 800 meters.

Catherine McKoy won the 100 meter final, was 5th in the 200, and led off a third place team in the 4 by 200 meter relay.

Taylir Kueter won the girls high jump with a personal best five foot one inch jump, and was on the third place 4 x 200 meter relay team.

Overall, Bartlett’s relatively young team did a fantastic job at the Region championships.  We will send 16 boys and 14 girls to the state meet in Fairbanks this coming weekend.  Here is the list of students going to state:
