Top Boy Original Soundtrack

Selections Picked By Drake

Top Boy, originally broadcast in the UK in 2013 is a show that is nothing short of brilliant. After 2 phenomenal seasons it was not renewed leading to many fans dismay. Fortunately, one of these fans happened to be the billionaire Drake.

He has been instrumental in bringing us the 3rd season as well as curating the soundtrack. Anyone who has seen the show will tell you how seamlessly the music and story intertwine.

Tips For Getting Free Soundcloud Plays | Push Power Promo

2019-05-11T21:37:00.003-04:00

10 Tips To Getting Free Soundcloud Plays

Tip #1: Upload song covers and remixes to SoundCloud. This will provide you with more visibility for people searching for song covers or remixes related to the song you've made; even if they aren't searching for you. This is a great way to get new fans!

Tip #2: Search and join Facebook groups that are dedicated to music creation. Once you are a member of the group, add your Soundcloud song to the feed. Unlike Facebook fan pages, Facebook groups give posts more visibility.

Tip #3: Join a forum that is relevant to your music genre. Then, add your Soundcloud page to your forum profile signature. As you become more active in the forum, your Soundcloud song/profile link will become more visible and allow you to get free plays over time.

Tip #4: Browse Soundcloud and support other artists that create music similar to your style. Like and follow the people that you genuinely find talented. When your actions show up in their notification box, they may be inclined to check your page out and play one of your songs.

Tip #5: Submit your music through ouropportunities or VIP section and include your Soundcloud link in your submissions. Even if the opportunities you are trying to get placed on don't accept your work, they will still be reviewing and playing your material. They may even provide you with helpful feedback that could boost your future Soundcloud tracks.

Tip #6: Share your link at parties with the DJ. Whether it’s a small family gathering or a larger social gathering with strangers, take the risk! With the wonders of technology these days, it won’t be that hard to play your song at the end of the party if the DJ likes it, or for the DJ to include it in a future set.

Tip #7: Add a post with your SoundCloud link included in your local Craigslist listing under the "Community" board as an artist or musician that is looking to network. You won’t get thousands of listeners with this method, but it’s a simple way to get a little bit more exposure and possibly connect with someone valuable in your area.

Tip #8: Offer a play-for-play with other artists you see promoting their SoundCloud songs on social media sites like Twitter. Something along the lines of, “Hey bro, check me out and I’ll check you out!”

Tip #9: If you are not already a member of Push Power Promo, sign up to get free Soundcloud exposure by adding your music to our user-submitted blog section.

Tip #10: If you're a singer, consider getting involved with Karaoke nights at restaurants in your area. If you impress people in the audience, tell them to check your Soundcloud link out! (This is easier when you have a short, memorable Soundcloud URL.)

Rosin Dabs : Make Your Own Dabs With Household Items And No Solvents

2019-05-11T20:57:00.003-04:00

We all love dabs, many of us blast our own using the traditional glass blaster tube and refined butane as a solvent to strip the THC from the flower.

While this tried and true method produces fantastic extracts, it's not without its cons. Explosions top the list but also have you ever tasted extracts that haven't been properly purged of the butane? Not pleasant...not one bit.

In the video shown below we see a creative method for producing rosin from items you probably have around the house; assuming there is at least one female in your home!

Best of all it's solventless and removes the threat of unintentional (careless) explosions!

Danny Byrd Drops Another Single Off "Atomic Funk"

2019-03-27T09:26:00.003-04:00

"Atomic Funk"...An All Singles LP Release?

After multiple hit singles off "Atomic Funk", Danny Byrd drops yet another 90's drum & bass throwback, complete with heavy female vocals, charging steps and that classic Hospital/Byrd sound that we all know and love so much (writers opinions, not necessarily fact but if you're not in agreement...check your head).

Hold Up The Crown, Salute, Devil's Drop & Holy Star have all been dropped as singles and have done tremendously well, boosting LP sales and getting the Hospital legend a shot in the arm for his ongoing world tour.

We now have Starting Over featuring the beautiful vocals by Hannah Symons. This track has everything you would expect and want from Byrd; rugged jungle flavors running in unison with gorgeous silky soul and R&B style vocals. The hard hitting drums are perfectly offset by Hannah's gorgeous layered vocals and deliver on it's promise of a return to the 90's Bristol days including the footage in the video of classic venues as well as B-Boy/B-Girl spots. The video ties in perfectly with the track and covers some of the most iconic spots and graffiti immediately recognizable to anyone in the know.
