So I was keen to try this game because Sherlocked is a well-known escape room in Amsterdam, and I really wanted to try their mobile app. It's really worth the time, very awesome and realistic game!!

There are so many video uploads of the game (in fact I'm going to post my gameplay video on YouTube too - recently learnt how to take videos of my gaming experience which is awesome but really battery consuming..) I'm not going to post pictures here because I think my instructions are very self explanatory. Also, you can check out my Youtube video if you need visual hints!

Anyway you can download it at Play Store here. Don't think they have iOS version though.

---

Somewhere in Amsterdam, an object is hidden. An object whose very existence is forcefully denied, guarded by the most complex security system in the planet. So, if what we've heard about you is true, then we have a job for you. Consider this your interview.

The game starts.

You are in front of a green metal door. Creepy. Click on the door to go closer, then use the key in your inventory (bottom right of screen) on the keyhole and circle clockwise. Press on the handle of the door and it should open.

The door will swing open and you will reach some kind of an office.

The first thing that attracted me was the gold knob at the left of the room. It turns out to be a mini safe, so after a bit of spinning, you will get the holes of the circles lined up. Once you do that, turn clockwise till the line is about 10 o'clock, then you will see a file with numbers 367. That's the number of the left of the locked suitcase.

Go back and insert the number on the locked suitcase. After which, swipe the lock to the left for the first latch to be opened. Zoom out and open the drawers. On the left, you should see a piece of paper that shows books corresponding to the shelves right behind the table. Arrange the books as such, and it will open a cupboard and you will get a wire cutter. (The right drawers only contain red herrings.)

Now go back to the table and click on the telephone. Turn the numbers and you will see that 631 is the phone's code (only numbers visible in the holes of the circle). Now put in the numbers for the right side of the suitcase and you should be able to open it. You will get a device manual and some sort of old iPad looking thing.

Go to the door and insert the iPad with the hanging wire. You realise it's some kind of visual of the insides of the safe. Keep spinning the safe until the holes of the circles are in line with the rectangular bar. The numbers should be 22 56 54. Once they are in a circle, spin them anticlockwise until you hear a click and the screen zooms out. Click on the golden wheel knob below the safe and spin it clockwise.

The door will open to yet another room (so typical of escape rooms to have many hidden rooms!). I went straight to the gramophone on the left of the room. If you go there, you can click on the gramophone and cycle the handle clockwise a few times. The drawer door should open. Take the key - it says "Godefridus Van Lanschot 2".

Now go to the gate and use the wire cutter on the lock. Swipe the gate to the right to open. Go to the table and get a piece of paper. It will tell you how to operate a safe. Now look for the lock that matches the name on the key and use the key on the matching keyhole. A message by an old man, probably Godefridus, "For my treasure I confess, a dozen and two less". Sounds like a riddle but it isn't too hard. A dozen = 12, 2 less = 10. So something is 1210 around here..

Go to the hall and then up the stairs. You will see a picture of a church and the same old man. Click on the picture of the old man and swipe it left and right. You will see the picture of the man managed to click on the wooden panel and lift it, revealing some kind of a number input system. So we enter 1210 and take the paper. The paper is a safe code answer "10-65-40". You notice the stand saying "you have been warned" and suddenly the room turns red and a counter of 120 starts. So you have 2 minutes of doing something!! I always get freaked out when rooms turn red or when there are jump scares, think you can hear me scream slightly in the video..

Go to the hall again and click on the puzzle on the floor. You notice that the pieces can be moved. Slide the puzzle pieces until there is a line formed. Once that happens, the light goes back to normal (phew) and you can slide the knob from right to left. This reveals a hidden room between the stairs and the upper part of the room.

You will see a safe (third and last one I promise!) in the room. Given the grandiosity of the room, it's probably the last puzzle. So.. safes are not my favourite things so I will go through this very slowly. (if you still do not understand, see the video)

The good thing is that everything has click sounds so it validates you if you're right!

On the papers, you know the codes are 10, 65, then 40. Then you also know how you should spin the wheels - 4 times clockwise, 3 times anticlockwise, 2 clockwise, then one more time at a 90 degree anticlockwise angle.

So we start from 0. Spin clockwise to 10. Now spin anticlockwise and you will pass 10 twice (which also means you go one full circle and pass 10 once, and the second time is to pass 10 to reach 65). Continue spinning anticlockwise until 65. Spin clockwise one more round (hit 65 again) then go to 40. Now turn anticlockwise about 90 degrees until you hear a final click and the screen zooms out.

It is something like

0 < 10 < 10 < 10 < 65 (same cycle) > 65 > 40 (same cycle) < 70+

If you fail, just keep spinning the knob clockwise (3 rounds is safe) and go back to 0. Then spin clockwise to 10 and repeat the above steps.

The screen zooms out, and you open the safe. You get a ring with a crest label and the game ends.

---

Well done.

You've passed out test.

Your job awaits you in Amsterdam.

Click here to book your heist.

Your most dangerous mission yet awaits beneath the old Amsterdam Stock Exchange. Assemble your team of max. 6 thieves, and pick a date here. As you have already proven your skills, you may use the code passed-the-test to receive a special price for the mission.

Accept the mission.

So we learn that the game is an advertisement for their escape game room, which is genius!!! Any reader from Amsterdam, please use the code passed-the-test for a discount!! If I ever go to Amsterdam one day, I'd really want to try it!

So this game is very simple to orientate:

Swipe your finger on the screen to rotate the globe and pull 2 fingers in the opposite direction to zoom (just like Virtual Villagers Origins 2 )

Click on each of your territory and click on the following options:

Attack: Choose a territory that you wish to attack. Thankfully the game disallows you to self-destruct, so it will not release bombs into your own territory

Defend: When an enemy is launching a missile towards your direction, neighbouring territories can help to defend by releasing a bomb to nullify the enemy's

Expand: You can click on other newly vacated lands beside yours to expand your territory. This helps you gain more space and creep up to enemies closer, which means you get to attack countries who are half the world away from you!

Research: You can research the following:

Efficiency: To enhance speed of building and expansion

Missile: Increase the reach and power of missiles

Recon: Allows you to be notified when an enemy missile is moving towards your territory

Nation: Increases the amount of missiles each territory can have

Build missiles (cruise/IRBM/ICBM/etc.): Each missile has their own strengths and weaknesses, some are faster and weaker in power while others may be slower but strong in power. Nevertheless it's good to have a mix of missiles in your territory.

There are also options on the left side of the screen:

2 cool missiles which you can use to completely evacuate the land (but it becomes inhabitable and nobody can use it afterwards, not even you)

First strike, where all your unengaged lands sends their missiles over to a chosen space. Always choose a place not too near yourself (unless you want to die), and somewhere with your enemy's crest (that's their capital)

Democracy: Pledge allegiance with one of the other powerhouses. You can always annihilate them later haha

Ready: Not too sure what this is, but for me, it helps me draw the boundaries of my states as well as my enemies', so I know where to aim my missiles. It's a waste of ammo to aim at uninhabited areas.

My tips:

Try to get at least 1 missile for every territory before expanding the land

If you have nothing to do for the land, just add missiles. I usually just add the cruise

Do research for landlocked spaces (spaces surrounded by other spaces) - The first one to do is always efficiency, followed by recon. This is because nobody attacks you in the early stages (unless you are very unlucky).

Thankfully the enemies tend to kill each other off so just spend the early parts of the game fortifying your area and conducting research

When expanding, if you have multiple choices, always take the land furthest from you or the one in the middle (so that you can use that land so mutliply as well, takes a lesser time overall!)

If you are going to end the game, but have no idea which other area of land you have not conquered, just fast forward the game and see which area attempts to hit you with a missile

This is my first gameplay for the game, you can check it out to see a short snippet of how I play it:

Hope this helps!

Today I decided to be adventurous and download this award-winning mobile game - First Strike: Final Hour. I was thinking woah why does this game have so many awards, isn't it just a shooting game? So I downloaded it and tried.

Unfortunately, curiosity killed the cat. Or rather, killed 2 hours of my life.. And probably further more o_o

So the rules of the game is very similar to Plague Inc and Bio Inc, where instead of spreading plague around the world and diseases within one's body, we have to conquer the countries in the world. This is done via rockets and bombs.

The great thing about the game is that the graphics and effects are awesome, and there's a fast forward and pause button for you to alter the speed of the game. However, I really don't like the amount of clicking I have to do, and sometimes I cannot tell which land is mine and which belongs to the enemies. There is a lot of guess and check on the players' end... A lot of mixed reviews for this game but I would say it is like an acquired taste. It starts out confusing and weird but soon you will get the hang of it and ultimately will enjoy it. Who doesn't like crushing enemies? :p

Nevertheless, still an awesome game that I'd recommend! Try not to play it on the bus or train because it's so intense, you may end up missing your stop!!

Download it on the App Store or Google Play Store.

(Text Only)

Yes!! A new update is here again! This is what it entails (or what's important to me):

1. A trading boat! Fixing the pier lets you complete puzzle 2. Puzzle 3 onwards are moved to puzzle 4 and so on, I'll adjust my puzzle guide later too. But seriously the techpoints are not important especially after you have maxed out your technologies. It's still a cool addition though!

2. Harvesting fixed! This means that you can get rhubarb, strawberry and blueberry without waiting for all of them to grow/fertilize. Yay!

3. Vine on stairs spawn as per normal! This is good cos we always need vines for ropes!

4. Removed confused feedback in the ocean. No more will the villagers be 'not sure what to do'. I was also unsure of what it meant but I guess it's now proven to be a red herring!

5. Fixed clothing hut feedback for braids. YES!!! This is the only thing pulling me back from puzzle 10 (now 11). I will complete the guide once I'm done!

And more:

Not sure how raining more is useful except for solving the antidote puzzle

Ok so now that there's a new puzzle 2, lets figure how to make this trading boat appear.

So you have to get 3 pieces of wood - 2 blanks beside the flower to be pollinated and beside the crafting hut, and 1 mini log above the farm (refer to photos below):

Drag three adult villagers to each wood piece and they will put it beside the pier.

Drag any three adult villagers to the pieces for them to fix it.

Once done, the trading boat will come to the raft. Collect your three lavastones!

If you click on the boat, the following screen will appear. Apparently you can trade the following crafted items for technologies, which is great for new players who need to purchase them. This also solves the issue of slow techpoints gathering time, so I really appreciate this new addition to the game!!

There's also a dragon beacon which can be used to recall the trading boat, so I guess it's either only going to be present for a day before we have to use techpoints to call it back. I guess it's also good, players can use the time to gather the necessary items before calling the trading boat back (hopefully the list does not shuffle!)

That's all for this page! Really happy about the update and I'm definitely looking forward to more!

For the rest of the puzzles and other guides, you can refer to the general walkthrough or just scroll all the way to the end of the article! Good thing is that both puzzles 8 and 9 are not too difficult, hence being in the same page. I'm sure you'll move on to the last three levels pretty quickly!

Puzzle 8: Clay Hut

You can figure how to make the clay hut to complete puzzle 7 here. With the clay hut, you can house another 5 villagers. For starters, you need:

Master builder

Master gatherer

Level 3 construction technology

Level 3 crafting technology

This level is simple yet difficult at the same time - simple in terms of number of steps needed, but difficult in terms of fulfilling the prerequisites.

The steps are:

Craft 12 clay bricks (it should take you 55 min per brick).

You will need a master gatherer to move the clay bricks to the clay hut.

After you have all 12 bricks at the clay hut, get a master builder to complete the hut.

The puzzle is complete. Collect your lavastones!

Puzzle 9: Antidote

You can figure how to make the antidote to complete puzzle 8 here. You need the following:

Puzzle 3 (Kraken statue) complete

Level 1 crafting technology

Well I’m not sure why this puzzle is put as number 8 given the level of difficulty as compared to the previous levels. Anyway, steps as follows:

Drag 2 adult villagers to one of the tentacles of the Kraken statue to lift it up.

While the tentacle is up, drag a child villager to get the pile of sticks underneath.

The child will carry the sticks to the pond (at the bottom right corner of the island) and make a nest

Craft mini eggs

Drag an adult villager to put them in the nest

When it rains, the pond will be filled with water. Drag an adult villager to gather poison from the nest (you can get a kid but he/she won’t become poisoned).

The pond will then become green, preventing other villagers from collecting pond water. The adult villager will also become sick.

Note: pond water isn’t really important but it’s good to collect a few before turning your pond green. Also, the green pond is an excellent way to make your adult villagers sick to train your healer (and hopefully nurture a master villager)

Use the poison to craft an antidote

Drag an adult villager to use the antidote on the pond

The puzzle is complete. Collect your lavastones!

Puzzle 6: Garden

This page teaches you how to unlock the garden. Honestly, the garden does not do much except give you access to the rhubarb, strawberry, and blueberry, which will be important in puzzle 7 (pie) and puzzle 11 (coloured glass). Many of you may think it’s another source of food but nope.

Hint: You can start preparing fertilizers before attempting the puzzle to save time

Anyway, prerequisites:

Master farmer

Level 2 farming technology

Level 1 crafting technology

Once you have achieved the following technology levels, the tree near the crafting hut should be dead and there should be a seed beside it.

Use a master farmer to take the seed beside the dead tree

The farmer will move the seed to the garden and it will dry in 2 hours

Drag a child to dry garden

Drag a master farmer to the seed bag beside the research table. Do this 3 times - 1 for each fruit (rhubarb, strawberry and blueberry)

Craft 3 fertilizers (which will take you about 4 hours and 10 minutes, or 250 minutes in total for each fertilizer - you can refer to my crafting guide here for more information).

Wait for the fruits to be ready (takes about 3-4 hours each)

Gather each fruit and the puzzle is complete! Collect your lava stones!

Note: I think this is a glitch but you cannot gather any of the fruits if there are seeds in the garden - you need to fertilize them first, which can be quite a pain.

Puzzle 7: Pie

You can figure how to make the pie to complete puzzle 7 here. For starters, you need:

Puzzle 5 (Garden) completed

Master farmer

Level 2 farming technology

Level 2 crafting technology

Ok so just follow and you should be fine!

Drag your master farmer to take the apple and rhubarb (from the crafting hut) to the kitchen table (beside the round table).

Craft dough (refer here) and get an adult villager to bring it to the table as well.

Drag a master farmer to prepare the pie.

Get an adult villager to the pile of rocks near the dry pile of wood. He/she will put it at the oven.

Let your master farmer put the pie in the oven.

After 3 minutes, it will be done.

Get 3 villagers to each the pie.

You will see the village shake and a part of the red statue will appear.

The quest is complete! Collect your lavastones!

Dingbats: Between the Lines is a puzzle game with various dingbats to solve.

According to Google, a dingbat is "a typographical device other than a letter or numeral (such as an asterisk), used to signal divisions in text or to replace letters in a euphemistically presented vulgar word." It simply is a word puzzle.

In this game, you have to decipher phrases or topics behind a set of words. I think it's really fun and challenging and everyone should try it!

Get it on the App Store and Google Play Store.

Links to answers to all the levels.
Each level has around 21 puzzles.

Final 10 levels for Be a Man, Do the Right Thing!

Level 21: Rock On!

Pass the left earphone from the guy to the left ear of the girl

(Not sure how is this gentlemanly but definitely not selfish, which is nice)

Level 22: Movie Date

Hug the girl when the clown comes out

(Thankfully the clown is not too scary looking)

Level 23: Check, Please!

Put the card in the middle of the book (where the crease is)

Blow the hair away

(Yes it is good to be neat)

Level 24: Yoga Master

Follow the coach’s hand, body and leg posture

Move the hand by touching on the hands, body by touching the waist (left and right side), and leg by touching the leg

(I think that Yoga is good for training flexibility but not sure how it helps one become more gentlemanly)

Level 25: Floor is Lava

Place the woman, then man, then child on the chair

(I guess that’s what the lava game was for.. Lol)

Level 26: Perfect Gift

Click on the man’s phone (at his butt)

Hold at the circle below 0 (AKA fingerprint recognition)

Click on the Instagram tab

Scroll down (you will see that the lady likes a pair of blue heels)

Click on the salesperson and she will get the blue heels

(I love this round! Very true that people tend to post what they like, perfect idea of getting the perfect gift)

Level 27: Safe Keepings

Note: Turn the volume on

Turn the knob of the safe and move it in the opposite direction when you hear a click

First, turn the knob clockwise thrice. Move again to hear the first click. Remember the number.

Next, turn the knob anticlockwise once past the first number. Keep moving to hear the second click. Remember the number also.

Last, turn he knob clockwise again to hear the last number.

If you were not accurate, simply turn the knob clockwise thrice and input the first number, then follow instructions to the third number.

Pull the safe handle down to open it

(Is being a thief a good skill too??)

Level 28: The Escalator

Open the blue box to reveal the red emergency stop button

Click on the red button when the girl is on the last step to the ground (the last step has to be 1/3 the original size)

(Hope this makes sense!)

Level 29: Text Bomb

Note: Turn on the volume

The goal is to reply 3 of the guy’s girlfriend’s messages

Pick the phone up when the girlfriend sends a text (notice given)

Tap the phone to text the girlfriend

Drag it back to the table before the manager peeks out of his blinds (usually takes around 3 seconds)

You know you sent a message when there is a sent sound (similar to iPhone default sound)

Good tip is to get the phone right after the manager goes back into the room

If you take too long, the girlfriend will get angry and you will also lose, so don’t wait too long

Level 30: Ride Hailing

Take 3 bags from the girl

Drag the bag on the lower right hand of the guy back to the girl

Tap on the phone

Unlock the phone by holding the finger at the circle below 0 (AKA fingerprint recognition) (similar to level 26)

Swipe the screen to the right

Click on Ober (lol)

Click on the $20 option

(Yes getting “Ober” is sometimes useful)

Now for levels 11 - 20 for Be a Man, Do the Right Thing

These levels are seriously too funny!

Level 11: Perfect Urinal

Scroll to the right of the washroom

Use the last urinal

(Not sure how this works but ok)

Level 12: The Nightmare

Use the stick and hit the man thrice until he wakes up

(HAHAHAHA AWESOME!!! Yes there is no solution to this hahahahahaha)

Level 13: Gentleman III

Drag the man to the right of the woman

Press on the man before the rain starts to open the umbrella

(I’d be infatuated if a guy if he sheltered me from the rain. I hate rain!!)

Level 14: Toilet Paper Not Included

Wait for another man to go into the toilet and sit

Press the toilet roll holder, then knock on the cubicle (empty space above the cubicle) thrice

(LOL life skills)

Level 15: The Perfect Selfie

Take the photo right when the fly leaves the camera lens.

The sequence is as such: Old lady walk past, clown walk past, pizza boy whizzes past on a skateboard, dog walk past, old lady walks back, wind blows girl’s hair, clown walks past again, fly lands on lens, old lady AGAIN, dog comes again, clown comes again, bird flies past and its faeces drops on the girl

(The skill should be more about not taking a shaky pic hahaha)

Level 16: Rose and Jack

Move the lady (Rose) to the right
Move the man (Jack) on the wooden platform

Both should be on the platform before the ship sank

(That’s about right!!! Titanic should have ended this way!)

Level 17: The Run In II

This level is all about timing

Click on the corner behind the dustbin

Remove the bin lid and get ready to place the bone on the ground

When the lady in purple is beside the man and lady, put the bone at the junction

The dog will come to get the bone and the lady will be scared and run away

(This is definitely not a good skill…)

Level 18: Cab kissing

Note: Turn the volume up

Be careful of the driver’s eyes - do not attempt to kiss the girl when his eyes are looking at the top right (he is looking at you)

Only kiss the girl when the vehicle is changing lane

You need to hear 2 kissing sounds each time the vehicle change lanes - you need 4 kisses (2 turns) to complete the level

Keep trying and you will get it!

(This taxi driver is seriously….)

Level 19: Perfect Stall

Go to the last cubicle. The graduate from level 14 will come out and the person would be able to use the washroom.

(LOL is luck a skill too? I hope this is not what the male washroom is like)

Level 20: Bomb Squad II

Take out all the stationery from the pen holder and you will get a key

Insert the key in the cupboard

Take the torn page out

Hold on to the speaker (red button) and say “cut” to the microphone at the same time

(Nice! I actually like the Bomb Squad levels)

Answers for level 1 to 10 as follows:

Level 1: Gentleman

Pull out the chair on the right

Drag the lady to the chair

Pull out the chair on the left

Pull the man to the chair

(Yes every guy should know to help a lady to her chair before sitting, but I guess waiters today help men to do the job so it’s fine too!)

Level 2: The Walk

Pull the man to walk beside the girl when he overtakes her

(Lol yes, people in more patriarchal countries have a culture of women walking behind men)

Level 3: The Ride Home

Take 2 bags from the woman.

Any more than 2 will make you drop and destroy everything

(I think this is not a gender biased act. Anyone should help anyone in need)

Level 4: Bad Hair Day

Swipe the mirror

Take out the hair gel

Put the hair gel on his strands of hair

Take the comb on the table and comb his hair

(LOL try all other options like cutting his hair or pulling his towel down. Too funny!)

Level 5: The Engagement

Put the ring on the ring finger (4th finger from the left)

(Where else do you want to put it?! Apparently the vein of a person’s left ring finger leads to the heart, which is why rings are put there)

Level 6: The Run In

Keep pressing at the part of the road where the guy and the lady came from

You will see a red button. Press it

(Funny that the guy had to run away from another lady. Is he two-timing both ladies?!)

Level 7: Gentleman II

Pull the handle on the left door (drag it to the left) before the lady goes to the door

(What everyone should do regardless of gender)

Level 8: Bomb Squad

Note: you need to allow the game to access your microphone

Flip the bomb manual until the wires in the book match that of the screen

Hold on to the speaker (red button) and say “cut” to the microphone at the same time

(How is this being gentlemanly?!)

Level 9: Dining Out

Choose the seaweed

(This is ridiculous. I’d rather eat fish but maybe the mermaid is vegetarian)

Be A Man “Do The Right Thing” is a ridiculously hilarious game by Twitchy Fingers Ltd. to “educate” people on what it means to be gentlemanly. I guess it is good to impart such knowledge to people but I also hope that it does not raise expectations or even unrealistic hopes that a guy would cultivate these values after playing the game. Some of the endings are really funny yet real, so you should try them all if you can!

Please note that you need to turn on your microphone on - give the app access!

Download it on Google Play here and App Store here.

It’s tough being a man in the modern world. Making the right decisions is often not just hard, but down right confusing. “Be a Man”gives you the chance to play out all these situations in any way you like! Awkward and hilarious situations, each with multiple outcomes depending on the decisions you make. So take charge, be a man and do the right thing! You can tap an object or a person. You can tap and hold an object or a person. You can swipe an object or a person. You can drag and drop an object or a person. You can listen to the speaker. You can speak to the mic. Each stage requires different controls. Try and see which one works the best! Good luck and have fun!

Anyway let’s start.

So you need a healer to

Support the sick villagers

Prolong the general lifespan of your villagers

Get a master villager to complete puzzles (like puzzle 11 to build the green statue)

Get the master villager to wear the fancy yellow cloak

The problem is when you assign someone to be the healer, all he/she does is laze around until someone is sick. It is utterly a waste of time and a huge opportunity cost of resources gained, but I guess you have no choice.

Healing is definitely the most hated skill.

There are a few things you can do to enhance the healing skills of your villagers - the most important being to make your villagers sick.

1. Use the same villager to heal all sick villagers

This works but it is totally by chance that villagers get sick (unless they are old). And if your medicine is at level 3, it's gonna be much tougher to get villagers sick. Best to use someone who dislikes working to be a healer, but if you want a master villager, it's best to use someone who likes running (so that they can max other skills at double the speed) or someone who likes working (so he/she does not do things like laundry or getting some sun)

2. Use adult villagers to remove the poisonous frogs

If your medicine is not at level 3, your villager will most likely be sick. Use your healer to heal him/her.

3. Use adult villagers to get poison (before completing puzzle 9)

This will make the person sick = more chances for healer to improve himself/herself

4. Limit amount of food for village

Do not assign any villagers to be a farmer. When the villagers do not have enough food, they become weak and sick. Let the healer heal them and when you have reached your goal, reassign farmers to the village or watch the advertisement videos (if you are really desperate) to restore health and safety in the village again.

5. Use your lavastones

If you think the work is too much of a hassle and you want an easy way out, just click on any villager and spin the lavastone wheel. If you are lucky, you can get the master villager and all your problems are solved. Note that the master villager option only comes out once, so you need to reincarnate your master villager at 20 lavastones should you need a master villager again.

Hope this helps!

Short synopsis

We see the story of protagonist Jin Sun-Mi - she is a human who able to see supernatural but is fairly weak against them

Young Sun-Mi was given a task by Mawang, a supernatural whom she thought was a "fairy", but got tricked by Son Oh-Gong, another supernatural stuck in the building, when she was a small girl

Important point is that they had a contract such that if Sun-Mi calls out Oh-Gong's name, he will have to protect her. Problem is that he removed her memory so there is no way she could recall his name even if someone were to tell it to her

Fast forward 25 years later and Mawang is a CEO of Lucifer Entertainment (managing idols), Son Oh-Gong is Mawang's roommate (no fixed occupation), and Jin Sun-Mi is the CEO of a real estate company

We see Mawang and Son Oh-Gong trying to do good deeds to ascend to heaven (something like gathering karma points). Mawang helps ghosts in his reality TV singing show, while Son Oh-Gong helps to remove a ventriloquist groom who possessed a small boy.

Son Oh-Gong learns about the existence of Sam-Jang, a person who will give him extraordinary strength if he were to eat her

Son Oh-Gong is determined to eat Sam-Jang after the Patriarch tells him that he was not considered to be chosen to ascend to heaven

The Patriarch consults Mawang to help stop Son Oh-Gong from eating Sam-Jang. Mawang learns from the Patriarch that Sun-Mi is Sam-Jang.

Sun-Mi has become Sam-Jang as punishment for freeing Oh-Gong. She will be attacked by demons all her life.

Son Oh-Gong reunites with Sun-Mi in an unhappy manner and is more determined to eat Sam-Jang after she has made him feel uncomfortable and somewhat guilty for making her wait for him for nothing

Mawang tries to find Sun-Mi but fails. He realises that he is also attracted to her scent

The ventriloquist bride, pair of the groom doll, goes to attack Sun-Mi.

Sun-Mi bleeds and her blood attracts many demons, including Oh-Gong and Mawang.

Oh-Gong realises that Sun-Mi is Sam-Jang and wants to eat her.

Long synopsis

We start the series with a man looking at a news report of a mountain fire in the Gangwon region, before going to a classroom setting where little children make fun of a girl to be a ghost. This little girl is our protagonist Jin Sun-Mi. As her classmates make fun of her, a teacher enters and asks the class to stand. Sun-Mi stands, realising that nobody else in standing - only she can see the "teacher". The teacher then changes to be a ghost (heart attack within 5 minutes I nearly died). Sun-Mi then takes out her umbrella with a talisman inside to shoo the ghost away. After which, the real teacher comes into the classroom and class starts.

After school, the ghost continues to follow Sun-Mi home and grabs her umbrella. A man in full black, holding a black umbrella with a bull handle, then appears to save Sun-mi and remove the ghost. This man is Woo Mawang. Sun-Mi asks Mawang how he managed to remove the ghosts and that she could see evil demons. He asks Sun-Mi for a favour after he learns she is a human who could see the supernatural. She agrees on the pretext that they will swap umbrellas after she has completed the task.

Mawang brings Sun-Mi to a house in the forest, to retrieve a Lady Iron Fan. He needed it to stop the fire in the mountains, and will trade the fan with his umbrella. He tells Sun-Mi to grab the fan and leave immediately, not responding to anything she sees or hears. She agrees and goes into the house.
Sun-Mi takes the fan, and meets Son Oh-Gong. She tries to ignore him but fails to do so when he drops her umbrella and calls out to her. Sun-Mi then tells her that she was here to take a fan for an uncle. Son Oh-Gong guesses it is Mawang who tasked her the job, and tricks her by saying that she was in danger as she did not sign a contract with Mawang. He told her that he could escort her and keep her safe, and asked her to blow out the five rainbow candles while he changes his clothing (similar to the five element mountain??).

Sun-Mi noticed Son Oh-Gong looking too intensely, and guesses that he could not light it out himself. He admits and told her that he would protect her if she removed the lights. She asks for a contract for him to protect her as she was very afraid of the monsters she see. He tells her, "If you call my name when you’re in trouble, in danger, or scared, I’ll appear and protect you." They then agree upon the contract and Sun-Mi puts the candles out. The house then disappears and they appear on a field.

Son Oh-Gong then tells little Sun-Mi that he has to protect her when she calls his name, but he removes her memory of his name. In short, she cannot call his name unless she finds this memory. He then takes the Iron Lady Fan from Sun-Mi and disappears. Small Sun-Mi is left tearing and trying to remember his name.

Twenty-five years later

Sun-Mi is introduced by her employee Lee Han-Joo as the CEO of a real estate company to a couple who is selling an empty office space. She opens her iconic yellow umbrella in front of the couple and counts the number of feet in the room, noticing there is an extra pair of shoes i.e. an extra person/something in the room.

Sun-Mi agrees to sign the contract for the building after the couple confirms that there is nothing wrong with the building. Sun-Mi looks at a file cabinet intensely and a female ghost (similar to The Ring) crawls out of the cabinet just as everyone leaves. Sun-Mi throws red beans (to ward off ghosts) at her, and they both sit and chat.

Sun-Mi ties the ghost's hair and the ghost shared that she starved to death after losing 30kg to audition as a singer. Sun-Mi gives her some food and asks if she had made any deals with fairies. She shared she was losing memory of the fairy she met (aka Son Oh-Gong), but the ghost had not met anyone.

We then move to a reality singing show where Mawang is one of the judges. We learn that Mawang is the CEO of Lucifer Entertainment and is known to be a "devilish over-reactor". While the two judges failed the singer, Mawang dramatically passes the singer. After the show, the contestant came to his room to thank him. He tells the ghost in the body to leave, who appeared to be the ghost talking to Sun-Mi.

He goes back to his office at Lucifer Entertainment where Secretary Ma congratulates him for helping a ghost and a human at the same time. She also shares that Mawang's co-judges were unhappy with his dramatic acts and she volunteers to kill them. He shares that killing was not in accordance with his goal to be an immortal. Secretary Ma then tell him about his roommate who got a speeding ticket and he has to help settle it.

We now zoom in to the roommate, who is no other than our dearest Son Oh-Gong. Man, he looks much better than 25 years ago. Son Oh-Gong is dressed as a priest and goes into a huge house. He is there to exorcise a demon who is possessing a young boy. From the conversation between the demon and Son Oh-Gong, we learn that demons have items that they attach themselves to (somewhat like a Horcrux in Harry Potter). This demon's item is a ventriloquist's doll. Also, the demon shared that he met a descendent of the monk Sam-Jang (AKA Tang San Zang) and huge strength would be awarded to whoever who eats Sam-Jang's flesh. The demon shows Son Oh-Gong the bite marks that he has left on Sam-Jang's neck for him to identify her. While speaking, the doll takes a compass and jumps to stab him, only to be thwarted and attacked by Son Oh-Gong. The demon then explodes into ashes and disappears.

Son Oh-Gong takes a bottle of Martell as a self-proclaimed token of gratitude. The parents were too happy to even complain, and we also realise that Son Oh-Gong wasn't the real hired priest when the real priest came. LOL. Son Oh-Gong now visits the most good looking character in the game, General Frost!!!! General Frost is an ice-cream seller who is also the confidant of Son Oh-Gong. He was sadly reduced to an ice-cream seller after turning earth into a frosty kingdom in the past. Talk about nasty Elsa. Son Oh-Gong asks General Frost for more information about Sam-Jang, but he has no idea. He learns that Sam-Jang's blood smells like lotuses, and would be targeted by many demons. General Frost then asks about Son Oh-Gong's stay with Mawang, which brings the perspective back to Mawang and Son Oh-Gong.

Mawang helped Son Oh-Gong take his congratulatory wreath as well as listen to the security guard nag about the latter's driving skills (or lack thereof). Both men thought that Son Oh-Gong would be promoted back to the heavens for removing the ventriloquist. Son Oh-Gong would be meeting the Patriach (Subhuuti) the next day, while Mawang was feeling jealous and indignant about it.

We then move to an antique shop where a ventriloquist doll who is a bride (uh oh) attracts a woman who tearily ended a phone message for her boyfriend. The woman, after looking at the bride doll, then twitches and has a face equally as scary as the doll (I seriously dislike dolls... and I bet this bride doll is probably the wife of the doll that was destroyed by Son Oh-Gong)

The next day, Son Oh-Going meets the Patriarch, who goes through Son Oh-Gong's reports of exorcism and noted that he has defeated the ventriloquist's doll who is the groom. He has yet to remove the bride to make it count as another exorcism success (I KNEW IT). Son Oh-Gong mentioned that he woudl do it as his last project on Earth, but the Patriarch shared that there has been no decision made to bring him back to heaven due to bad reviews (such as him destroying roads while destroying demons). Son Oh-Gong loses his temper and breaks the Patriarch's table in half, muttering that he should just eat Sam-Jang and forget about going back to heaven.

The Patriarch asked how Son Oh-Gong knew about the Sam-Jang, which affirms the rumors that Son Oh-Gong was initially unsure about. The Patriarch seeks Mawang for help.

We go into a concert where the singer PK hypes up an arena and spirits fly into a crystal ball with a bull figure (because it's planned by Mawang's Lucifer Entertainment). They are capturing energy of people (for some reason that I'm not sure). The Patriarch then approaches Mawang and tells him about Son Oh-Gong wanting to eat Sam-Jang. The Patriarch also reveals that the child that Mawang asked for help, also the child who freed Son Oh-Gong, is Sam-Jang. She was given Sam-Jang's fate of constantly being attacked by demons as a punishment for freeing Son Oh-Gong from the five element mountains. Ok so now we know that Jin Sun-Mi is Sam-Jang.

We go into Sun-Mi's POV where she visits the family where the little boy was previously possessed by the demon. Han-Joo spots the woman possessed by the bride doll and is scared by her. Son Oh-Gong finds the antique shop to look for the bride doll, but realised that she has been taken away. The nearby purplish jar shares in its smoke that the bride doll had possessed a passerby. Son-Oh Gong buys the jar after calling his "brother" Son Oh-Jung (CEO of a phone company, something like Samsung) for money. He brings the jar to General Frost and gives it as a gift to him (to give more warm energy to the place so as to nullify General Frost's cold energy).

After visiting the family, Han-Jo drives Sun-Mi back to the office. On the way, Sun-Mi spots a supernatural being on top of a car, wanting to harm the driver. She shouts at the driver to ask him to wake up, unfortunately making him angry and swearing at her. Thankfully, the supernatural being gave up trying to harm the driver and left. The car stops at a junction and Sun-Mi meets Oh-Gong. He waves to her just as how he waved to hear 25 years ago, recalling her memory. She chases after him and ends up at a garden. He sarcastically asks her why she had not been calling his name, and she told him that he was not worth it and she had no intention of calling him even though she knew his name. The conversation did not end well with both people being angry and walking out on each other.

In the meantime, Mawang goes to Sun-Mi's company to look for her. As she was still with Oh-Gong, he looks into the office and smells her shoe, being entranced by the smell of the lotus. He gets caught by Han-Joo and leaves LOL -_-

Sun-Mi is approached by the angry driver whom she scolded before (and also saved his life). As he raised his hand to hit her, Oh-Gong controls him and makes him mirror Oh-Gong's moves to hit his head. He flees in utter fear. Oh-Gong asks Sun-Mi if she remembers his name again, and warns her to tell the truth before he kills her. She tells him the truth that she had not remembered and she would also stop waiting for him to protect him, as she was never in his mind the 25 years that she was desperately hoping for him to appear. This hits Oh-Gong's conscience and he goes to the bar to talk to a lady, who is the pitcher that he gave to General Frost. The lady helps him to decipher what Sun-Mi meant by she was waiting for him desperately, by showing him an analogy of wanting to drink but being unable to do so. He still feels uncomfortable about it, and thinks that the best solution to get rid of this feeling is to eat Sam-Jang (not sure how this comes into play..?!)

The woman being possessed by the bride doll follows Sun-Mi into her house, as she saw Sun-Mi with Oh-Gong (killer of the groom doll) and assumes she is also an enemy. Sun-Mi spots the doll in her house and uses her umbrella on it, revealing the ghost of the doll. The ghostblow out all the lights, leaving them in darkness. Out of nowhere, a photo frame falls and hits Sun-Mi, making her bleed (o m g). Sun-Mi runs into the room to get a cloth and stop her bleeding as she tells herself that bleeding is bad. The scent of the lotus flower (in her blood) attracts many ghosts, including Mawang and Oh-Gong. Oh-Gong goes to Sun-Mi's house and defeats many ghosts. He also killed the bride doll and protected Sun-Mi from her.

Sun-Mi looked at him happily, thinking that he had protected her. He then saw a bite mark on her shoulder and realised that she is Sam-Jang. Mawang also arrives at the roof of Sun-Mi's house and defeats other demons. He is displeased that Oh-Gong had also found Sun-Mi.

Sun-Mi asks Oh-Gong if he was here to save her again. He said, "no, I came to eat you".

E N D

My Comments
MAN THIS SYNOPSIS IS LONG!!!! The content is so rich and I would have split the episode into 2 or 3 to make it more digestible. Not sure if all shows are 1.5 hours long, I would think 30 min is enough. Anyway I enjoyed the link between the characters in Hwayugi to Journey to the West! Quite interesting that Sun Wu Kong (Son Oh-Gong) is the antagonist and the bull demon (Mawang) is the hero - a very interesting twist indeed! Sun-Mi is also very pretty and quite weird, which makes the show more intriguing. I definitely enjoyed the presense of her sidekick Han-Joo as he is really comical!! It would be awesome if Han-Joo met Secretary Ma LOL. General Frost is very charming as well I hope we get to see more of him!!

I predict that the twist will be twisted - Son Oh-Gong will be the hero and Mawang will be the villain in the series. Let's see if my prediction will be right!

List of Characters in Hwayugi A Korean Odyssey - I will be putting this at the top of every synopsis cos even I sometimes forget who is who

I'm not a frequent serial watcher but I like this series because of the parallels it has with Journey to the West. This is a modern spin-off by the Hong Sisters. I like that the title is Hwayugi cos it sounds like 华语记, which sounds like 西遊记 (ya ya very far-fetched I know but I like it).

Needless to say, the protagonist Jin Sun-Mi is adapted from Tang San Zang, the Buddhist monk who is on a journey to the west to get some western scriptures for enlightenment. Tang San Zang is accompanied by Sun Wu Kong, Zhu Bajie and Sha Wujing. Sun Wu Kong is Son Oh-Gong in this story, who will be protecting Jin Sun-Mi. The character of Zhu Bajie is portayed in PK who is a lustful and greedy artiste who is powered by the energy of his fans, and Sha Wujing is played as Son Oh-Jung who is Son Oh-Gong's "hyungnim" or brother in the show. Can imagine Oh-Jung saving or assisting Oh-Gong throughout the show. You can read Journey to the West to learn more about the characters (major Easter eggs in better understanding this series), but I guess learning about Sun Wu Kong is more than enough.

So Sun Wu Kong is a notorious, proud monkey whom you'd want to strangle because of his arrogance and annoyance - he calls himself the "Great Sage equal to the Heavens". He was trapped under the Five Element Mountain for 500 years for eating the immortality peaches and attacking troops in Heaven. He managed to escape the mountain after Tang San Zang freed him and made him one of his disciples to journey to the west. To control Sun Wu Kong, Tang San Zang has a golden circlet placed on Sun Wu Kong, which will hurt when Tang San Zang chant prayers to control Sun Wu Kong or stop him from mischief.

Being a Korean drama, my bet is that Son Oh-Gong is going to protect Jin Sun-Mi and he will probably fall in love with her in the process. They are probably going to meet many demons but will be able to overcome them with the help of their friends (and maybe with the cheesy power of love). So let's start.

I must say that the 90 minutes of each episode is so packed with action and content, you'll feel so tired in the middle of the episode (somewhat like Star Wars the Last Jedi lol but I loved it!!!). Nevertheless it was great watching and I truly enjoyed it!

Puzzle 4 - Kraken

You need to complete puzzle 1, have level 1 construction and level 1 crafting (which means you must have upgraded construction and crafting once)

If you have not seen the blue-faced villager (probably if you have not followed the tutorial at the start), you have to do these:

Drag an adult villager to the water buckets near the research table to collect water

Drag an adult villager to the cave to collect coal

Click on the crafting hut and craft water and coal together (45 min)

Drag an adult villager to the crafting hut and take the oil. The villager will bring the oil to the Kraken statue.

Now you will need to find the eyes of the Kraken statue. They look like pebbles lol.

One is at the bottom right of the island just below the reeds.

The other is below the mixing table beside the foot of the lava (and also above the field). To get this one, you need to collect water, then drag your adult villager to the crafting hut to get the water to cool it down before carrying it to the Kraken Statue.

Drag a builder adult villager to the statue to install the eyes.

After which, the rocks in the centre of the island will fall. You will need 2 builder villagers to push the rocks at the same time. The rocks will then fall and the Kraken will appear.

Puzzle 4 is complete! Collect your 3 lavastones!

Puzzle 5 - Kraken Statue

You need to complete puzzle 4 (duh)

You will need to fill the empty pedestals with stones and metals to create worshipping points.

Mix lava and water to make stone, and stone and fire to make metal

You will need 2 stones and 2 metals.

Get your adult villagers to carry the items to the pedestals.

Get 4 scientists to stand on each pedestal to worship the kraken statue.

The village will shake and 3 metal holes will pop out of nowhere. When you click on them, you will realise that they are blue, yellow, and red statues and they have 3 parts each to complete. That will be for puzzle 11 and 12.

The puzzle is now complete! Collect your 3 lavastones again!

Puzzle 3 - Crafting Hut

Drag your adult villager to the whale bones. He/she will take a whale bone to the construction table.

By common sense, drag an adult villager to the construction table. He/she will make a pickaxe out of the whale bones. The pickaxe will be near the anvil.

Drag an adult villager to the pickaxe and he/she will chop the wood that is behind the crafting hut.

Drag an adult villager who is a scientist (it will be written if he/she is a trainee, adept or master scientist) to the science board beside the research table. He/she will draw up plans.

Drag adult villagers to the crafting hut to complete repairs.

The crafting hut can now be used! Use it to generate new resources to solve the next puzzles. View the crafting and resources guide here.

Note: You could complete repairs for the crafting hut before chopping the wood, but you would not be able to craft until the puzzle is complete.

Random tutorial after puzzle 3 is complete (that will lead to puzzle 4)

The blue-faced villager will pop out of nowhere to guide you in crafting.

Drag an adult villager to the water buckets near the research table to collect water

Drag an adult villager to the cave to collect coal

Click on the crafting hut and craft water and coal together

Use lavastones to fast forward the crafting (provided by the game)

Drag an adult villager to the crafting hut and take the oil. The villager will bring the oil to the Kraken statue.

Hidden Secrets free is a game similar to Godtower where you have to key in the answers to the puzzles to solve it and move on to the next level. There are 6 levels in this free version and much more in the paid version, but I don't think I'll be buying the paid version because I'm a miser. Anyway do support the creator because it really is a great game!!

Download it on Google Play here.

Answer: Makes sense

Follow the equation and convert the numbers into alphabets. i.e. 1 = A because A is the first letter of the alphabet series

Level 2

Answer: These things

Write the alphabets in capital letters before those in lower case

Level 3

Answer: Are everywhere

Google braille and decipher the answer

Level 4

Answer: Or not

The clue is there. Check out your phone's touchpad (or google phone number pad) and find the alphabets that corresponds to the numbers. i.e. 1 = A, 11 = B, 111 = C, 2 = D, etc.

Level 5

Answer: astronaut

Google morse code and decipher to get -14.7452 -75.079810 - you realise they are coordinates

Use Google Maps and type in the coordinates and you will be in a strange place looking like a man

Click on the flag and you will get astronaut, Peru

Level 6

Answer: watch us

The answer is in the clue - golden ratio

If you google golden ratio, you will see that it is 1.61

Take each number and multiply it by 1.61 and you will get 23 1 20 3 8 21 19

Convert the numbers into alphabets (similar to puzzle 1) and you will get the answer - watch us

Level 7
I didn't buy the paid version so.. thank you to Salvatore, Gabriel and Rebecca for sharing!
Answer: Are like whispers
The big hint is EREH! EREH! EREH! - Everything is reversed. So what are Olemme, Similis and Fisildiyor?! Sounds quite foreign to me..
So you go to Google Translate and type in "Olemme", "Similis" and Fisildiyor".
Olemme = Are (in Finnish)
Similis = Like (in Latin)
Fisildiyor = Whispers (in Turkish)

For 2017, you have 17 days to make holiday lights.
To make the lights, you need to get glass and firefly.
LDW has very kindly given the formula for glass = fire + sand.

To get the necessary items (from my resources and crafting guide)

Fire = Either pick up pieces of burnt wood near the fire when it appears, or drag an adult to the dry wood pile on the left of the research area then pick up the pieces of burnt wood

Sand = Drag an adult south of the crafting house (also where earth and cactus are)

Firefly = Drag an adult or child on the flying bugs with light

Rewards

For 20 holiday lights, you get lavastones. 40 holiday lights and you get a holiday totem (very cute snowman!), and 80 holiday lights rewards you with a box. I'll update what the items do when I reach those milestones, I'm only at 10 lights!!! :/

Update (29 Dec): You get 50 lavastones for 20 holiday lights. I need to be faster!!
Update (31 Dec): You get the snowman totem for 40 holiday lights! The totem gives you bonus points for techpoints researched. There seems to be no specific equation for this because I keep getting different bonuses, but it is around 1 bonus point to every 25-35 researched points. You also get extra points when you are in the game not to worry (about extra 4 points?).

it looks very cute though

Update (5 Jan): Finally got everything!!! You will get a tube at the waterfall area. It looks ridiculous but when you move your villager who is weak on it, it makes them healthier. To be honest I'm quite disappointed to waste the lavastones for this tube since my villagers are always healthy!! >:(

My strategy
It takes 1.5 hours (90 min) to make the glass, and 45 min to make the holiday lights. This means it will take 135 min for everything. What I usually do is to check in the game once in a while, and use my lavastones if necessary. Because the crafting is such that every 30 min requires 1 extra lavastone, I usually wait until multiples of 30 to use them. This also means that I usually wait 15 min for the holiday light formula so that I only use 1 lavastone instead of 2 to craft it quickly. Of course, if you have a lot of time, you could just refresh the app every 90 and 45 min respectively.

Let me know what works best for you!

1. What is the lemur for?
The lemur helps in going into the cracks to get items for you. You could get worms, magic, metal, and other random objects/technologies/food/lavastones in the cracks.

You could pay for the lemur's home for $13.98 to make his stay permanent. This could be very helpful if you are sick of gathering vines and crafting rope. Sometimes there are 50% discounts so you may also wish to wait for that.

2. Why is my island shaking?
This means that a crack is going to appear. Get your rope (craft vine + vine) ready for some goodness!

3. What is the yellow cloak for?
The yellow cloak (hanging by the tree above the love shack) can be worn by an adult villager who is master of all skills. The master villager is important in the later part of the game (solving puzzle 10 and 11) because he/she will be needed to craft plans to make the green and blue statues.

4. What is the heron doing?
The heron flies around and eats the poisonous frogs that make the villagers sick. You can also drag child villagers onto the frogs to remove them.

You could also pay for the heron's house for $13.98 to make his stay permanent. However, I don't see as many frogs as cracks, so buying the lemur could be more worth the money.

5. How much food is gained from mushrooms, coconuts, crops and fish?
Children can forage mushrooms. Each mushroom is worth 8 food.
Coconuts, crops and fish give you 12 food.

6. How long before a child is born?
4 hours.

7. What do the technology upgrades for food do?
It is important to get your food upgrade to level 2. Level 0 (the basic) only provides coconuts as a food source, which is problematic to allow your village to survive in the long run - you have to upgrade food technology ASAP. Level 1 allows your villagers to do farming. However, the crops are finite, so it can barely sustain the village especially if you plan to expand it. Level 2 presents the possibility of fishing, which is great because Isola seems to have unlimited fish. Level 3 onwards just increases the amount of food you can get from foraging/farming/fishing, so I would not suggest upgrading so soon (I waited forever to upgrade my technology for research first before other technologies).

8. How do I make my villager a master of all skills?

Well you could train the villager in every skill and reincarnate him/her after he/she passes on, but what I was was to try my luck and spin the lavastone wheel to get a master villager. Note that you can only do this to one villager, so if he/she passes on, you can't spin the wheel to get a master of all skills to other villagers. As such, you have to reincarnate the master villager.

9. What happens when my fire is out?
Sometimes your fire may go out because of random events. When that happens, simply drag an adult villager over the fire and he/she will "check the pit out". Soon after, the fire will be reignited again! Having no fire does not affect the game in any way - people do not get sick more easily. But having fire allows you to collect fire splints, so just light it up!

10. How do I get dried grass?
There is a dried grass option to complete a trade on the trading boat for 1600 techpoints. However, there's no dried grass! Stay tuned for the next game update to figure how to get it!

Please leave a comment if you have more questions as we can help each other solve it! :)
You start the game by choosing 5 villagers, a good tip would be to:

Choose at least 1 male adult and 1 female adult (for mating purposes)

Choose at least 1 child (to get child-only privileges like getting mushrooms or removing frogs)

Try to get villagers who like running (saves time doing work)

Villagers who like work are good too (so they don't stray easily)

Conversely, try not to get villagers who dislike running or work

I would make 1 child and make the other 4 adults

The story starts

In the wake of a volcanic terror on their home island, a group of survivors have set sail, seeking a new home. They discover Isola, a magical island paradise! Once home to a thriving society, now ruins and jungle! As their boat lands on the beach, a MYSTERIOUS MAN appears before them...

Would you like HELP?

Click yes to start the tutorial, no if you know what's going on. The tutorial guide you on how to complete the first puzzle, which you can also do on your own if you like.

Tutorial:

Tap on a villager to select him/her and see his/her demographics

Drag a villager to move him/her around

Drag a villager to the coconut tree to forage for food

Try dragging villager to coconut again

Drag a villager to the research table

Click on technologies screen

Drag a villager to pick up the coconut husk

Drag a villager to pick up the firewood

Drag a villager to light up the fire

Click the puzzle screen

Click on a villager and select a skill preference

Add a lavastone to the villager

Fix the love shack by dragging a villager onto it

When love shack is fixed, puzzle 1 is complete! Get your lavastones reward!

Drag a male or female adult villager on another adult villager of the opposite gender until they both move into the love shack

A baby is born!
