Career opportunities abound in virtually every corner of the globe. Just like education, hospitality is a career area which practically never abates. Even during tough economic times, jobs in hospitality--which comprises a very diverse field of businesses, from restaurants to bars to hotels to resorts and more--stay fairly stable. The best thing about the hospitality industry is that you can find job opportunities all over the world. Here are a few tips and resources for netting a job overseas.

1. Talk to Alumni from Your School.

Alumni connections are often the best way to get a job once you've completed your degree. Your school probably has an alumni database, which lists where they are now. Find alumni working in sectors and countries which appeal to you, and shoot them a friendly email asking for advice. They can usually put you in touch with the right people to get your foot in the door.

2. Emphasize Languages in Your Resume.

An important aspect of getting a job in a foreign country is to have diverse and solid foreign language skills. The more languages you are familiar with, the better. This is especially true of the hospitality industry, in which speaking two or more languages will help you better interact with a diverse clientele.

3. Get a Job with a Local Branch and Ask for a Transfer.

A very common way to find worldwide opportunities in the hospitality industry is to start with a local hotel, restaurant, or other establishment that has branches worldwide. Once you've worked locally for awhile, you can build the clout needed to move up and work elsewhere.

4. Leverage the Web to Search for Opportunities.

The Internet is one of the best ways to scope out hospitality jobs across the globe. There are several job search engines geared specifically toward careers in hospitality management. CatererGlobal.com is one such site in which you can search by job title, location, and work environment. My Gulliver is another site that offers job listings in the hospitality industry worldwide.

5. Dress to Impress.

When you do get an interview for a position, be sure to remember that professionalism in dress and manners is doubly important in the hospitality industry. Since hotels and restaurants often thrive on their overall sense of style, make sure you are familiar with "the look" that a specific establishment aims to achieve, and try your best to play the part.

In the final analysis, if you have people skills, if you are interested in experiencing a wide range of locations, and you are committed to excellence with an eye for detail, then the sky's the limit for you in the hospitality field.

By-line:

This guest post is contributed by Roger Elmore, who writes on the topics of hospitality management degree. He welcomes your comments at his email id: rogerelmore24@gmail.com.

Interview Tip 2 - What You Need To Do Before An Interview

There is one thing you need to do before the actual interview, is to get interviewed. Means, you should prepare yourself through practice interview or mock interview. Very few people do it before their actual interview. By doing so, you can set yourself apart from the competition. You can get constructive feedback from the mock interviewer so you can overcome the weaknesses you will likely to have in your real interview.

You will also get fluent in answering the difficult question if you practice sample questions. But, remember do not try to cram the answers of the interview questions, just remember them naturally.

Interview Tip 1: The Most Important Aspect of Successful Interviewing

It is not your Resume, not your Degree, not even your past Experience that makes your interview a success. It is actually your “Passion” about a particular job you have applied and interviewed for. Show your enthusiasm to the interviewer. Demonstrate that you are very much passionate about the job; you are ready to take charge and positively impact to the growth and betterment of the organization.

When you show your true passion to the employer, it creates a difference which set you apart from the crowd of candidates. Employer would prefer you rather than the other superstar candidates who have higher qualifications and most relevant work experience. Hence, take enough passion and enthusiasm while you go for an interview.

Coming Soon with the Series of Tips

Alright guys, here I come back again to blogging. The feelings are mixed, sometimes I feel Thanks God it’s finished, but sometimes it makes me very sad when I think that it’s going to be over. No more university life, no more university friends, no more joke exchange after the class in the university café.

It is all the part of life, people come and go and the life goes on. All you take with yourself are the memories. Memories for the whole of your life.

The journey of my MBA started in January 2008. When I first entered the campus I found a new world. A new place, new faces, everything was new for me. I was enriched with great enthusiasm but I was bit nervous as well.

When I entered the class, some people were already sitting. Few looked at me but I took the front seat without looking back at them and started to wait for the teacher. It was a class of microeconomics. I still remember the guy who taught us this subject. Although he was very strict but he gave all the students jump start to their academic career.

Soon afterward, we students started to know each other and became friends. I also found some guys (or you can say they found me) and made a study group. The time started to move on. Days are gone, months are gone and even the years are gone. And now I am just a few steps away from my graduation.

I found the whole journey very painstaking. Taking a job and studies together was very tedious, but I learned a lot. I have developed my personality to progress in my professional as well as personal life. Now I find myself more intelligent and wise decision maker. Improved everything which a professional needs to have in his personality.

Let’s hope for good and I pray that we all friends should be friends forever and progress in our life greatly. God bless us all.

Muslims' Contribution to Human Civilization: Great Speech by Musab Iqbal

Muslims' Contribution to Human Civilization Part 1

Muslims' Contribution to Human Civilization 2

Musab Iqbal, a great personality of contemporary time. A philosopher, a thinker, a writer, an inspirational speaker, I don’t have enough words to describe his personality. All I know is that he really impressed me with his knowledge.

I like not only his ideas but the way he speaks to the audience. He lives in India and has become the friend of an ordinary person like me through Facebook. He is currently on a tour across India to deliver his inspirational speeches.

He sent me few of his speeches through email. In this excellent speech “Muslims' Contribution to Human Civilization”, he has told us how Muslims contributed to the growth of human civilization.

The last part of this speech is unforgettable, but you need to listen the whole speech in order to understand his message to the Muslim community across the globe.

There are few more of his speeches I have, which I will share soon.

Thanks Musab for giving me the rights to share this speech to my readers.

You can visit his blog http://www.phantasmmind.blogspot.com/

Happy New Year 2010 from Kasbit MBA Weekend Batch 11A Blog

Gals and Guys, Happy New Year 2010.

Hope this year shall bring peace and prosperity in our homeland, love and affection in our houses, and joy and celebration in our lives.

Things to Do Before an Interview (Points to Remember for New Job Seekers)

After completing your studies, your first priority is to get a job that can give you a way to promising career. You start to apply for job positions and finally get a first interview call. This call for your first job interview would make you happy as well as scared. But, if you follow some basic ethics before sitting in front of an interviewer, there is nothing to worry about.

Know the Address Perfectly: Very after the interview call that you receive, find out the exact location of a company. Ask your parents and friends to let you understand the route. You can even search Google maps to hit the exact location (it really works). Moreover, know the bus routes if you will go by bus.

Research About the Company: Check the website of a company to know what does this company do. Have an overview about the history, what product and service they sell and how long they have been in the business.

Read Interview Questions: Read some possible interview questions and their answers. As you are new in the job market and have no or very little work experience, the interviewer would ask more career and education oriented questions to figure out your skills, abilities and your suitability for the job position.

Dress Code: Your first impression on a hiring manager would be your attire. Dress nicely and professionally, even you go for an interview in the evening.

For boys, wear dark color dress pant with light color dress shirt, and don't forget to wear a tie. Wear clean and polished shoes along with light perfume.

For girls, wear light color dress with minimum makeup and jewelery. Wear low heel shoes and light perfume.

Copies of Resume: It's important that you should take at least 2 copies of your CV. One for the interviewer and one for yourself to avoid mis-communication.

Don't Eat Too Much: When you eat a lot, you start to feel like lazy and sleepy. Hence, avoid eating too much food before going to an interview. Instead, have a light breakfast or lunch with fresh juice. This way you would not lose energy and would feel confident and active during the interview.

Reach Before the Given Time: Try to be at interview place few minutes before the time mentioned by your potential employer. Avoid getting late, or if you get late for any reason, inform the employer hours before the interview time.

In this post, I tried to help you to know how to get prepared for a job interview. These tips will keep you confident, energetic and motivated before, during and after the interview. You can leave a lasting impression on the interviewer, which would increase the chances of getting the job.

Try Paraphrasing instead of copying and pasting from internet for assignments and alike

Without knowing the future impairments, students of most of the educational institutions copy and paste the already published material from the internet for their assignments, term reports and projects. This act can bring in some good marks but not the real knowledge for which they have been perusing their education.

Students should think by themselves that this act of copying and pasting (the word plagiarism is used for copying and pasting someone else work and presented it as yours) cannot help them to improve their knowledge and skills, and when they will go into their practical life they will fail to accomplish the real time tasks. In today’s fast paced environment when opportunities are shrinking and the competition for a single position has been increasing, how one can bear a burden of having an MBA degree or alike and not having adequate knowledge because of copy paste act throughout the academic career. Employer won’t hire a person, who cannot prove to be a right candidate even after having a right degree for the available post.

The effective alternate way: Paraphrasing

Realize the reality and instead of copying the full material, do paraphrasing. Paraphrasing is done by reading related material and jotting down the important points. After doing this, the concept and broader view of a topic should be developed in your mind. Now start to write what is in your mind on a paper or a word- processor on computer. Write randomly without thinking that what you are writing is right or wrong. Once you are done with writing what is in your mind, take a break. After few minutes or even hours, start reading and editing what you have written. Finally, you will see you have produced a very good material with complete hand on information on the topic. This way you will improve your reading skills, writing skills, and creative thinking.

Try once and you will feel pleasure doing this again and again.

Traits of a Great Manager Cum Leader

While reading over the web, I found this article on leadership. Motivation and leadership are those topics which I always like to read and write. I like it, you will like it too. Originally published on the blog of Rozee.pk

You have all seen them, or have been lucky enough to have learnt from them: a teacher in class 5, a manager in your previous company, a captain of your cricket team. How are these people different from us? What qualities do these people possess that make them successful at what they do; how is it that people follow these leaders?

In this article, we will look at some traits of a leader. After reading, reflect upon how many of these characteristics do you possess. It does not hurt to start developing leadership skills at any stage.

Integrity:

Leaders are honest people with high moral values. Rather than playing blame game, where they try to pinpoint a scapegoat when something goes wrong, they hold themselves responsible in front of their management. Their employees trust the leaders and go out of the way to win accolades from them. This allows a very positive energy to flow within organizations.

Thus leaders bring with themselves a strong current of positive energy that helps the company meet tight deadlines, elevate employee morale and allows the company to stay competitive.

Risk Takers:

Leaders are not afraid to make difficult decisions. They take calculated risks. Whereas, a mediocre manager would want to always play safe, avoiding difficult projects or delaying decision making, leaders are always ready to take challenges head-on.

You will hear them welcome difficult projects that are high-profile. They are always ready to prove to the world that they can do it.

Natural Problem Solvers:

Leaders are naturally good at solving all sorts of problems. They are good at looking at issues from different dimensions and therefore offering unique, yet simple solutions. Leaders understand their product. Their solutions keep in mind the end user of their solution.

Good Listeners:

Leaders are good at resolving issues because they are good listeners. Pay attention to the person speaking loudly and continuously in a meeting; he is probably not a leader. Leaders tend to sit back and soak-in the information before offering solutions. And when they do, they are not averse to listening to contrary points of views.

Consensus Builders:

Leaders never take people for granted. They always build a consensus in their team prior to undertaking any major project. This is not to say that they cannot make their own minds up and need a committee. On the contrary, from the bosses who simply tell their employees what to do, leaders will explain what needs to be done and answer any ensuing questions.

People Development:

A very important aspect of what leaders do is that they develop people under them. Leaders are not content in simply lobbing easy tasks that can be hit out of the park each time by their employees. Leaders challenge their employees with new ideas and new tasks so that it adds to the skillset of that person.

Leaders empower people under them to take difficult decisions, to go on meetings by themselves, to propose new and bold ideas. Leaders ensure that, at the end of the year, an employee has grown beyond what he knew 1 year ago.

Enthusiastic:

Leaders are passionate about their work. They infuse energy in whatever assignment they take on. They are committed people who believe in their work assignments.

Eyes on the Prize:

Leaders are always very goal oriented. As they go through the day, they never lose sight of the main objective of a project or a product. They always have a long-term strategy in mind that they do not compromise for short-term gains.

Good Teachers:

Leaders are good coaches. They are selfless in spending time teaching people who work for them or with them. This trait helps people working for such a person to develop themselves and enhance their skills. Leaders make time to explain ideas and thoughts to people. They make time to share knowledge that they have with those that want to acquire it. They do not hoard information. They are approachable by anyone.

—

Some people are born with these leadership traits, others acquire it over time. Try to learn from your mistakes, pay attention to those around you who emulate these leadership attributes and try to learn from them first hand. There is no better time to start than now.

Previous Posts Roundup of this Blog

1. Do you want every update of this blog directly to your email?

I wrote this post in the start of this blog to ask readers to get every new post of this blog directly in their emails. Very few people motivate themselves to read a book instead of watching TV or playing video game. But still some people find reading a most interesting thing to do; they can’t live without reading something every day.

Various researches have shown that people who read books, their career growth rate is higher than the non reader. Moreover, they have better managerial and people skills and have excellent decision making skills too. So, reading on regular basis is mandatory if you are willing to boost in your career path.

My focus through this article is on those who want to read books but can’t find themselves motivated or can’t continue reading after two or three lines. Developing a reading habit is quite difficult on initial stages, but once you develop this habit, you will find yourself restless until you grab a book and read something from it.

As I have mentioned already, developing a reading habit is difficult exercise, but it’s not impossible. The following few points can help a lot in this regard:

1. If you are a non book reader, buy your first non academic book of your area of interest. Like your first book could be an English grammar book.

2. Carry this book with yourself wherever you go. Even bring it while on picnic at the beach.

3. Read one or two paragraphs initially, increase it gradually to one page or two. After a certain period of time you will find more capability to read a book for hours.

4. Reading a book is one thing, but understanding what is written is more important than reading it. Hence, read it slowly and with understanding. If you don’t understand a sentence read it again and again. Take your time for reading a book there is no rush, because you need to extract the juice out of that particular book.

Improving Writing Skills: 10 Points to Become an Impressive English Writer

English is not our native language; therefore we are not guilty if our English is not good. However, learning English could be fun and it’s also a need for our career growth. Writing skills in this age are very crucial to become credible and respected in our job and in our daily life. If you write well you will be more respected and honored in your surroundings. I have seen many people lack in English writing, although they are good in speaking English. Therefore, I have mentioned 10 points to improve English writing skills which I have been using to improve my own writing skills.

1. Read grammar book, wherever you go take this book with yourself and read whenever you find time whether in the library, in the cafeteria, or even while travelling.

2. Try to write everything by yourself. Write reports and other material by your own-self, don’t copy,

3. See how successful writers make sentences. Try to copy their style of writing.

4. Whenever you listen any new word write it down, and check the meaning in the dictionary later.

5. Write something every day, even a small paragraph.

6. Read a piece of writing every day.

7. I know it’s hard to write in English, and generating sentences is difficult. Just write whatever is in your mind and don’t worry about the mistakes.

8. Check after few days what you have written, you will find grammar and other mistakes.

9. Ask your friend, who should be good in English writing, to check what you have written. Allow him to find mistakes and give the needful advice.

10. Finally, it’s all about practice. So, write, write and write.

Guest Post: How to Motivate Yourself to Study

The better part of our childhood is spent in studying, first at school and then at college. We spend around 16 years in pursuit of knowledge, after which we either choose to stay on in the world of academia or move on to a career. The most important part about going to school and college is how we’re able to cope, if we can study well and earn good grades, because performance equates to how effectively you can study. If you’re having trouble finding motivation to study, here’s how you can give yourself the necessary impetus:

Think of the consequences: When you’re driven by the fear of failure, you’re sure to succeed. So when you can’t bring yourself to study, think of the consequences you’re likely to face if you fail or perform poorly in your examinations. Push yourself to go on because you cannot bear the embarrassment of potential failure.

Think of the rewards: The other alternative is to focus on the advantages that efficient studying can bring, like great grades and all-round appreciation. When you know that you have it in you to excel, and when you know that all you need to do is apply yourself in order to ace tests, you are motivated to study even through tiredness and boredom.

Think of the money: And in extreme cases, if you’re in danger of failing if you don’t study, think of all the money you’re throwing down the drain, not to mention the time you’re wasting. When you have to repeat a year or a course, it’s going to cost you much more than you’ve already spent. So instead of putting yourself further in debt, buck up and study so you get through your exams, if not with flying colors, then at least with passing grades.

Before you begin studying, ensure that you are in a quiet place that is conducive to concentration. Also make sure that you get enough sleep the night before your exam because a brain that is sleep-deprived cannot perform to its potential. Drink lots of water and stay hydrated in order to prevent unexplained tiredness and lethargy. And begin your preparations much before the eve of the exams so that you don’t panic for lack of time.

By-line:
This guest article is exclusively written for my blog by Adrienne Carlson, who regularly writes on the topic of online degrees. I was very much happy to write for her blog. The post is about how one can motivate himself to study. The first paragraph of the post is below:

Motivating yourself for studies is quite a difficult task, and when you are working as well with your education, you find very less time to study. In this day and age, any type of information whether it is academic or non academic is just a click away. Just type a keyword related to your information requirement in any search engine and you will have much good material to read.

Click here to read the full post.

Some Job Interview Questions With Possible Ways of Answering

These questions and answers are not prepared by me, but while I was searching my own document data base, I found a file with these questions and answers, and though to share them with you.

Q. Tell me about yourself.

A. This is the dreaded, classic, open-ended interview question and likely to be among the first. It's your chance to introduce your qualifications, good work habits, etc. Keep it mostly work and career related.

Q. Why do you want to leave your current job? (Why did you leave your last job?)
A. Be careful with this. Avoid trashing other employers and making statements like, "I need more money." Instead, make generic statements such as, "It's a career move."

Q. What are your strengths?
A. Point out your positive attributes related to the job.

Q. What are your weaknesses?
A. Everybody has weaknesses, but don't spend too much time on this one and keep it work related. Along with a minor weakness or two, try to point out a couple of weaknesses that the interviewer might see as strengths, such as sometimes being a little too meticulous about the quality of your work. (Avoid saying "I work too hard." It's a predictable, common answer.) For every weakness, offer a strength that compensates for it.

Q. Which adjectives would you use to describe yourself?
A. Answer with positive, work-oriented adjectives, such as conscientious, hard-working, honest and courteous, plus a brief description or example of why each fits you well.

Q. What do you know about our company?
A. To answer this one, research the company before you interview.

Q. Why do you want to work for us?
A. Same as above. Research the company before you interview. Avoid the predictable, such as, "Because it's a great company." Say why you think it's a great company.

Q. Why should I hire you?
A. Point out your positive attributes related to the job, and the good job you've done in the past. Include any compliments you've received from management.

Q. What past accomplishments gave you satisfaction?
A. Briefly describe one to three work projects that made you proud or earned you pats on the back, promotions, raises, etc. Focus more on achievement than reward.

Q. What makes you want to work hard?
A. Naturally, material rewards such as perks, salary and benefits come into play. But again, focus more on achievement and the satisfaction you derive from it.

Q. What type of work environment do you like best?
A. Tailor your answer to the job. For example, if in doing your job you're required to lock the lab doors and work alone, then indicate that you enjoy being a team player when needed, but also enjoy working independently. If you're required to attend regular project planning and status meetings, then indicate that you're a strong team player and like being part of a team.

Q. Why do you want this job?
A. To help you answer this and related questions, study the job ad in advance. But a job ad alone may not be enough, so it's okay to ask questions about the job while you're answering. Say what attracts you to the job. Avoid the obvious and meaningless, such as, "I need a job."

Q. How do you handle pressure and stress?
A. This is sort of a double whammy, because you're likely already stressed from the interview and the interviewer can see if you're handling it well or not. Everybody feels stress, but the degree varies. Saying that you whine to your shrink, kick your dog or slam down a fifth of Jack Daniels are not good answers. Exercising, relaxing with a good book, socializing with friends or turning stress into productive energy are more along the lines of the "correct" answers.

Q. Explain how you overcame a major obstacle.
A. The interviewer is likely looking for a particular example of your problem-solving skills and the pride you show for solving it.

Q. Where do you see yourself five (ten or fifteen) years from now?
A. Explain your career-advancement goals that are in line with the job for which you are interviewing. Your interviewer is likely more interested in how he, she or the company will benefit from you achieving your goals than what you'll get from it, but it goes hand in hand to a large degree. It's not a good idea to tell your potential new boss that you'll be going after his or her job, but it's okay to mention that you'd like to earn a senior or management position.

Q. What qualifies you for this job?
A. Tout your skills, experience, education and other qualifications, especially those that match the job description well. Avoid just regurgitating your resume. Explain why.

Q. Why did you choose your college major?
A. The interviewer is likely fishing to see if you are interested in your field of work or just doing a job to get paid. Explain why you like it. Besides your personal interests, include some rock-solid business reasons that show you have vision and business sense.

Say no to Failure…..

Think about yourself, have you ever fall in the situation that you were trying to do something but failing again and again. What was your feelings, demotivated and dishearted. These feelings are natural and everybody in this world, in any way, passes through this type of situation.

But it doesn’t mean that you don’t have potential to achieve your goals. Failure is just a feedback to your potential success. Learn from every failure of yours and move ahead. Many successful people in the world used to fail many times before they found the path to success. In fact, the more they failed, the more they became successful. For Instance, Colonel Sanders of KFC offered his secret chicken recipe to 1009 restaurants at the age of 65, but nobody was interested in accepting his offer. He was obviously dishearted and demoralized but didn’t lose the hope. Finally, his 1010 attempt became successful and later on he co-founded one of the most successful chains of fast-food in the world i.e KFC. Ref: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Harland_Sanders

Thomas J. Watson, president of International Business Machines (IBM) - 1874 – 1956, once said:

"Would you like me to give you a formula for success? It’s quite simple, really. Double your rate of failure. You are thinking of failure as the enemy of success. But it isn’t at all. You can be discouraged by failure or you can learn from it, So go ahead and make mistakes. Make all you can. Because remember that’s where you will find success."

Absolutely right, failures make your potential success more rewarding and interesting. Think of your ultimate goal all the time, and you will never get dishearted form your failure at any point of your life.

Book Review: Brand Failures by Matt Haig

I have recently been reading a book, Brand Failures: The Truth about the 100 Biggest Branding Mistakes of all Time, written by Matt Haig.

After reading half of the book, I just couldn’t stop myself to tell you how interesting yet important this book is. Matt Haig has written this book in a very interesting way, but the book is full of knowledge, especially for the professionals who are associated with marketing and branding and for the students who are studying the same subjects.

Matt Haig has divided the book into ten chapters. First chapter introduces what brand is and why brands fail. The other nine chapters cover the case studies of 100 famous brand failures of all times including top brands like Coca-Cola and McDonald’s.

What add value to this book and to your knowledge is that, he has extracted and written the lessons learned from each brand failure at the end of every case study, which makes it a must have and must read book for everyone.

Wonderful Slides on Psychology Of The Winner

While surfing through the internet, I found these very beautiful slides on difference between winners and losers. It is an excellent book for overcoming the fear of doing any thing you want to do in your life but failed due to lack of confidence.

I read all the chapters thoroughly and found many useful exercises to become confident in different situations.

The chapter I like most was about public speaking. This chapter describes how to overcome your fear of public speaking and become a confident speaker. A quote “When you know what you’re talking about, you don’t need to know what you’re going to say” impressed me a lot in this chapter.

Finally, in the last of this chapter, there is an exercise given which psychologically effects you and eventually decreases your fear of public speaking.

So here is the exercise:

1. Think of a presentation you are going to be making in the next few weeks. If you don’t have one scheduled, think about any upcoming performance situation where you want to be at your best.

2. If it was entirely up to you, how would you like to feel during your presentation or performance?

Example:
Confident, passionate and fun

3. Imagine a circle on the floor of any colour. Fill it up with the feelings you desire. You can do this by thinking of a time you felt that way in the past or by using your body ‘as if’ you already feel that way now.

Example:
I fill my circle with confidence by standing in a confident posture and speaking to myself in a confident tone of voice. I add in a sense of passion by thinking about a cause I am deeply passionate about until I can feel those feelings in my body. I remember a time when I was laughing and joking with friends, and put that in the circle for a sense of fun.

4. Step into the circle and let the feelings spread through your body. As you feel them, visualize yourself doing the thing you want to do. When the feelings start to fade, step out of the circle and ‘recharge’ it with emotion, then step back in.

5. Repeat step 3 and 4 until you automatically feel the way you want to feel while imagining and/or doing the thing you want to do!

Indeed, this exercise will be very useful. Don’t expect the sudden change, obviously it will take time, but with continuous practice you (me as well) will master the art of presentation and public speaking.

Octara Professional Training and Workshop Calendar for July - Dec 2009

Guys at Octara sent me their Professional Training and Workshop calendar for the next six months, July to December 2009. I have seen many students who are good in speaking English but lack in English writing skills.

The book “Grammar Smart” is certainly for the people who want to improve their English writing skills. This however doesn’t mean that this book will not work for the people who want to improve their speaking English.

Grammar Smart is very skinny in size, and divided into eight parts. All parts are worth reading but part 2 and 3 are the most important. Both parts tell how to craft sentences effectively and help to identify the most common errors done while writing.

So if you want to improve your English writing skills, this book is definitely an asset for you.
