type="html">I rushed home after work on Tuesday at 7pm so I wouldn't miss the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show. Little did I know that I had plenty of time because it started at 10pm in Canada on Global TV. So I was safe and was able to watch the whole show!

VSFS 2011: Miranda Kerr in Fantasy Bra worth $2.5 million

The very first VSFS that I ever watched was last year, and I have to say, those girls on the show are gorgeous.

Last year, there was one outfit that really stood out at me, which was the boxing outfit (if you guys remember that one). That one was probably my favourite last year.

VSFS 2010: Erin Heatherton

This year, I don't really have a favourite. Nothing really specifically stood out at me. Instead, I felt that I equally enjoyed all segments of the show. I particularly enjoyed the PINK segment with all the neon wings! It's so cutesy!

VSFS 2011: Behati Prinsloo

VSFS 2011: Shannon Click

VSFS 2011: Chanel Iman

VSFS 2011: Karlie Kloss

Nonetheless, I really enjoyed watching it!

So I'm really curious to hear what you girls had to say about the show! Let me know!
I mentioned a long time ago that I got some Dior makeup from my boyfriend's mom. One of the things I got from this goodie package was Diorshow Mascara. I've really tested it in all climates, so now I return with a review for it!

The first thing I'd like to point out is the huge applicator. When I saw Hard Candy's Ginormous mascara, I thought that applicator was big. But nooo.... Diorshow mascara - HUGE! The large applicator looks great, but sometimes it's hard to get into the corners.

The formula for this mascara adds a little bit of volume, but the difference is not as significant as Hard Candy's Ginormous Lash Mascara. I don't see much difference in terms of length, but since it adds a bit of volume, even lashes that appear short with no mascara would automatically lengthen.

Now that I have a nicer camera, it's able to capture more details!

Like I said, I tested this mascara in all climates. In normal Vancouver summer weather, this mascara works fine. It doesn't flake off or anything and doesn't leave prints on the my bottom eyelids like some other mascaras. I would trust that unless you have super oily skin, this mascara would stay put all day. I also tested this mascara in super hot Orlando weather during May, and by noon, because I have moderately oily skin, it does leave some on my bottom lids...

But hey, this isn't Diorshow Mascara waterproof, so maybe the waterproof brand would work better in those types of climates.

Another thing I wanted to note is that a couple times that I have used Diorshow mascara, I noticed that a couple lashes fall out each time I remove it. I don't know why this happens. It could potentially be that the mascara formula dries out my lashes and make them fall out. Unfortunately, this is somewhat of a concern for me as I have asian lashes, which means that I have a lack of them. So I don't use this mascara very often...

In terms of cruelty-free status of Christian Dior makeup, I don't think I know anymore... I thought I have found some credible sources where they said that Christian Dior is cruelty-free, but I have also found credible sources that say that they are not.

According to In Defense of Animals USA, they do say that Dior abides to the old cruelty-free standards but not the new ones. To be on the new list of cruelty free standards, the organization is to guarantee that the products are, in fact, not tested on animals (either by the product manufacturer or any associated contract testing labs). At this moment, Dior is still not on the new list. So I'll leave you with that.

Rating: (4/5)
Vaseline is an inexpensive product that most people will have in their normal household items, but people may not necessarily be using it as a beauty product.

I love Vaseline products. The one I normally use is the Vaseline lotion one with aloe vera. Even though many people say that it clogs pores (which is a myth), I often use it on my face (especially after showers) to help keep the moisture in. Especially during the winter, Vaseline is the only thing that keeps me moisturized after my showers.

Recently I saw this video for 50 ways to use Vaseline in under 2 minutes! So I thought I would share and transcribe it into a blog post for those who are interested but cannot fully pay attention to a video at the moment (e.g. in class like I am right now as I am typing this).

Put a coat on your eyelashes before you go to bed. Lots of people swear by this - and say it will make your lashes grow longer and thicker over time.

Put a coat of Vaseline on your feet at night, cover them with socks and wake up to softer feet - every day!

Put Vaseline on your elbows every day - they will stay soft!

Put Vaseline on your cuticles several times a day for softer and better looking cuticles every day.

Put Vaseline on chapped lips

You're Beautiful.

I came by this photo and story on Facebook this morning and found it extremely inspirational and I hope you will too. Be forewarned that the photograph in this posting it may potentially be NSFW.

A while back, at the entrance of a gym, there was a picture of a very thin and beautiful woman. The caption was "This summer, do you want to be a mermaid or a whale?"

The story goes, a woman (of clothing size unknown) answered the following way:

"Dear people, whales are always surrounded by friends (dolphins, seals, curious humans), they are sexually active and raise their children with great tenderness.
They entertain like crazy with dolphins and eat lots of prawns. They swim all day and travel to fantastic places like Patagonia, the Barents Sea or the coral reefs of Polynesia.
They sing incredibly well and sometimes even are on cds. They are impressive and dearly loved animals, which everyone defend and admires.

Mermaids do not exist.

But if they existed, they would line up to see a psychologist because of a problem of split personality: woman or fish?
They would have no sex life and could not bear children.
Yes, they would be lovely, but lonely and sad.
And, who wants a girl that smells like fish by his side?

Without a doubt, I'd rather be a whale.

At a time when the media tells us that only thin is beautiful, I prefer to eat ice cream with my kids, to have dinner with my husband, to eat and drink and have fun with my friends.

We women, we gain weight because we accumulate so much wisdom and knowledge that there isn't enough space in our heads, and it spreads all over our bodies.
We are not fat, we are greatly cultivated.
Every time I see my curves in the mirror, I tell myself: "How amazing am I ?!"

(The girl on the picture is French model Tara Lynn)
The date of Victoria's Secret Fashion Show 2011 has been announced to happen on Tuesday, November 29th. Last year's was my very first Victoria's Secret Fashion Show that I've ever watched and I have to say, I never thought I would enjoy it so much. I ended up downloading it as well as some from previous years.
This year’s Angel line-up includes Adriana Lima, Alessandra Ambrosio, Candice Swanepoel, Doutzen Kroes, Erin Heatherton, Lily Aldridge, Lindsay Ellingson, Miranda Kerr and more! There hasn't been any news about whether Rosie will be joining the line-up at the moment, but keep up with your Victoria's Secret news on their Facebook page!

Not only that, but Victoria's Secret Facebook page has also released some sketches of what's about to come:
So for the last couple days, I ran out of shampoo. I can't go to work without washing my gross and dirty hair... and I just happen to remember I have this! Philosophy's Vanilla Birthday Cake, the gift I got from Sephora for my birthday!

Philosophy's Vanilla Birthday Cake can be described as a 3-in-1 as it's a shampoo, shower gel, AND bubble bath all in one. As I was washing my hair I couldn't get over how good it smelled. I literally wanted to stick my tongue out and taste it to see if it tastes as good as it smells. But I didn't. Hahahaha!

So far, I've only tried it as a shampoo. I haven't tried it as a shower gel or bubble bath yet, although I don't see there's a problem with it being either. Anyway, my hair smelled so good I wanted to eat it! The smell didn't last long though, but I definitely felt clean, not itchy or oily (like some other shampoos).

I'm not sure if I would buy this with my own money as it is a little pricey for what it is. But if you haven't tried your birthday gift from Sephora yet, give it a try :)
OK. So I guess this isn't one of those "epic posts" that I was talking about, but I figured, "hey why not?" I'm kind of proud of this picture (as sad as that sounds) and even posted it on Twitter as my new profile picture.

I couldn't wait for iPhone 5 to come out. The fact that I don't know how long I will have to wait puts me in distress, so I just got an iPhone 4 last month. So this picture was taken with my brand new iPhone 4. I notice more cam-whoring these days due to my new phone... Maybe I'll have more daily pictures of me to share with you all and turn this blog into a shrine of me (oh god!).

I was originally gonna take this picture to show how cold it is in Vancouver lately even though it's technically "summer". See how I'm wearing a hoodie? It's sad when you can wear a hoodie in the middle of summer. I can't imagine what this winter is gonna be like this year. Hopefully lots of snow!

Judging by this picture, you would never have thought that I blog about makeup and beauty products. Probably only about the people I've killed. LOL!!!

I am so sorry about being MIA for like the last month. If you follow me on twitter, you've probably heard the news that I managed to find a job this summer! In the mean time, I was also working on my summer online courses. So my schedule was pretty much fully packed...

On Tuesday, I wrote my final exam and just a couple minutes ago I handed in my final paper. Unfortunately, full-time school starts on August 22nd, which means that I really only get 2 weeks of real summer break. I know right? Not even until Labour Day like the rest of the schools... If you cannot tell, I'm really bitter about this. Lol.

So far, I'm really enjoying my new job. I love the people that I work with! I'm gonna say that's probably the best part of the job. I really hope to continue working there as I attend school, which means that I might not be able to post as much. But I promise, when I do post... they're gonna be EPIC. LOL!

Anyway, please forgive me that I've been lacking in posts for the last month or so... I will try to do my best to continue posting in the future :)

Love you all!
Juli Anne
I don't have any tools to color in my eyebrow, but I took a picture of myself and photoshopped only my eyebrows to see what it would look like.

So here! Please give me some suggestions.

Do coloring in my eyebrows really make that much of a difference???

Natural, not colored.

Colored.

This has been an "I'm so full of myself" post. Look how it's plastered with my photo! @_@ Anyway, I kind of see the difference, but at the same time I don't know how to measure it's significance of the difference. I look a little angry or something when they're colored. Do you think so? Which one do you prefer?

However, although my skin is no longer bumpy with a lot of pimples, I have a bunch of leftover post-acne brown marks. Good thing is that these marks go away over time, but it really takes a LOOOOOOOONG time.

My Grandma kept on telling me to apply this cream called Hirudoid on my scars and said it would help remove it. The first time I heard it, I was like "Grandma, I'm not gonna put hemorrhoid cream on my face." After a little bit more research, I discovered that this isn't really any scar removing cream, but a cream that helps blood circulation in the legs. However, improving blood circulation is a good first step for scar removal too, so I complied.

One night, I came by the following YouTube commercial! It's in Cantonese, but it had me sold on the product!

My grandaunt was visiting from Hong Kong in a couple months, so I had her look for it and bring me some (it pays to be in good terms with relatives - haha). She said it was pretty hard to find, but she eventually found it in some drug store and it cost approximately $200 (HKD) which translates to around $25 CAD.

I am so glad my grandaunt found this product for me. The usual scars that take around 3-4 weeks to fade, took around 3-4 days to fade. Like, of course it's still there, but it's faded so much. I was really amazed with the results Hiruscar gave me. I can now go outside with no makeup on and not scare anyone on the streets!

Hiruscar is made from the same company that created Hirudoid cream. Except, this time, it's really meant for scar removal. Although, I wouldn't necessarily describe it is as a "cream"... it's more like "gel" like texture in my opinion. If you're concerned about the smell, I do find that it smells a little bit like aloe (but that is one of the major ingredients in the product).

I used to feel so ashamed when passing by those skincare tables in department stores because they all try to sell me stuff. Now, I can strut through them with confidence.

The camera really doesn't do much justice to the results this cream has done for me. On the before photo, that's what my scars used to look like -- and I even had makeup on in that picture! On the after photo, I have no makeup on. So it's pretty comparable, in my opinion. The pictures were taken under different lighting, but trust me, this little tube of miracle delivers amazing results.
Sorry I don't have better before and after photos. This was the best I could do as I don't normally take pictures of my imperfections.... Although some of you may not think that these are any noteworthy results, they look a lot more significant in real life than in the pictures.

I really recommend this product to those who suffer from acne scars. Whether they may be brown marks, indented, or raised scars, Hiruscar is said to improve your skin condition.
A couple days ago was summer solstice, so guess what everyone?? It's officially SUMMER! I don't know about you guys, but it doesn't really feel like it in Vancouver. I mean, I'm still sporting around a hoodie on the streets.

Has anyone ever shopped for Korean/Japanese dresses or clothing on eBay? They are super affordable and looks so stylish! They usually only come in a couple sizes and they're usually pretty small. I fit in them, but for the last couple times I bought it, it just doesn't fit me right and usually requires some tailoring by my grandma (she used to be a seamstress). Usually due to something being sewn crooked/not symmetrical.

However, these dresses look absolutely stunning on the models in the pictures, so let me share with you some of my great finds with you! :)

Even though they doesn't always fit me properly, I don't think that's gonna deter me from continue buying them. There are just so many styles that I like on eBay than I do from Forever21, or H&M.
This product was stated to "help clear blemishes quickly and effectively without over drying the skin." If you have dry skin and you develop acne, perhaps instead of drying it even further with some of the strong acne cleansers out in the market, maybe you can try applying some Tea Tree Oil!

Why do people with dry skin still develop acne? The skin tends to produce more oil in response to dry skin. So to prevent that from happening, we moisturize!

Tea Tree Oil, unlike other oils, does not clog pores. Instead, Tea Tree Oil contains many beneficial medical properties when applied topically. According to Wikipedia (link), it includes antiseptic, antibacterial, antifungal and antiviral actions.

Unfortunately, nothing ever works immediately/overnight. In fact, this treatment works quite slow in general to dissolve that damn blemish. It is, however, soothing after you apply it and reduces the redness and inflammation initially.

The Body Shop's Tea Tree Oil is diluted so you can apply it directly onto your skin. So essentially, it only contains 15% of Tea Tree Oil. If you find that you need something stronger, you can always try to get 100% Tea Tree Oil from the drugstore and dilute it yourself. It's a good thing to keep around for insect bites too :)
Yayyy!!! By the way, you should really go check out the picture of the cake if you haven't yet (it's not *my* cake, but it's a really impressive cake). Anyway...

My birthday was yesterday and I've just been so busy watching hockey games lately that I haven't had time to write anything. I'm really upset that the Canucks the Stanley Cup final last night, but what I'm even more embarrassed about is the riot that happened right afterward. We're not all bad people. And honestly, the people who started the riot in the city last night are probably not even Canuck fans, they are probably just people looking to cause trouble. So I believe it would have happened no matter the outcome of the game.

Anyway, today, I wanna tell you all about the amazing deals and perks you can get for your birthday! This blog post isn't really gonna be beauty related (well... maybe except for the last one is), just a bunch of perks.
Yes, I share the same birthday-month as my blog. Being an extreme budget-watcher, I haven't spent a cent at Sephora despite how I have their Beauty Insider card. There were a couple times where I almost gave in, especially when they launched their Hello Kitty line. But no... it was still too expensive for me >_<.

Anyway, I still went into Sephora shamelessly this year to claim my birthday present:

This year, they're giving away Philosophy's "Vanilla Birthday Cupcake", which is a smaller version of Philosophy's "Vanilla Birthday Cake". According to Sephora, this is a shampoo, shower gel, and bubble bath all-in-one! Can't wait to try it. I mostly take showers nowadays because it's quick. It's been years since I've had a soothing bubble bath. Time to relax!

I have FAR from flawless skin and it makes me very insecure when I go out without any face makeup. My skin has improved so much since the beginning of the year, so now I don't even really use my BB Cream all that often anymore. Lately, I've been using only Hard Candy products on my face and decided to share with you all how I achieve my kind of "flawless" face using only Hard Candy products in 5 simple steps.

Step 1: Hard Candy's Sheer Envy Primer Ultralight Formula (Optional)
The reason why I say this step is optional is because a lot of the time, I forget to put this on. Nothing disastrous happens when I forget, but this primer does help provide a really nice smooth base for your makeup to sit on. If your skin is well hydrated and moisturized, I don't find this step AS necessary. However, if you have problems keeping your makeup on whether it may be due to extremely oily/dry skin, you may want to give this primer a try as it is said to help keep your makeup on.

Step 2: Hard Candy's Sheer Envy Tinted Moisturizer

After priming/moisturizing your face, I put dabs of tinted moisturizer on my cheeks, forehead and chin. Make sure you blend this really well (along your jawline, down onto your neck and all the way up to your hairline). The tinted moisturizer I use is in the color FAIR and I know for a fact that I do NOT have fair skin. However, because this moisturizer blends so nicely, instead of looking like patches of discoloration on my skin, it more or less brightens it, which is why I love so much! This step completely replaces my foundation step which is great especially for those summer days when you don't want to apply a heavy amount of makeup. This product even has SPF 15 so you don't even have to apply sunscreen in addition to your regular face routine. Click here, to read my full review on this product.

Step 3: Hard Candy's Glamoflauge Heavy Duty Concealer
Yes, I apply my concealer after the foundation step although I know some people may disagree with me. I find that it's pointless to apply concealer beforehand because it just rubs off and becomes a waste. I currently have Hard Candy's Glamoflauge concealer in the color TAN. It's slightly darker on my skin and has more yellowish tones to it than I would like, but this product has been really hard to get in stores. I will have to go on a search for a Glamoflauge concealer in MEDIUM one day. This heavy duty concealer is really "heavy duty". It does a great job with covering a lot of the brown spots left over from acne and lasts all day long.

Step 4: Hard Candy's Welcome Matte Pressed Powder
The last step for me is using Hard Candy's Pressed Powder to set my concealer and tinted moisturizer. This allows my makeup to last all day long without coming off. I use this along my T-zone and chin as well as the areas I applied my concealer on and helps mattify everything. This powder is translucent so it works for most people. However, I find that it can look a little cakey when used to set my makeup sometimes. I really hope that Hard Candy will come out with colored powders in the future (like MAC Mineral Skinfinish Naturals). Colors sometimes just looks nicer. To read a full review of this product, click here.

Step 5: Hard Candy's Blush Crush / So Baked Bronzer (Optional)
So, the above steps are all the products that I use to achieve the most basic "flawless" face look. However, if you feel you look a little pale and want to add some color to your face, try out Hard Candy's Brush Crush or So Baked Bronzer. I don't own any of their bronzers, but I do hope to try it in the future. Their blushes are not very pigmented, but I actually find that a good thing. It really depends on the user. As a side note, I've heard the same about their bronzers too. The blush color I have is called "Living Doll" and it's a gorgeous frosty pink color. Alert! Bathroom Dancer back here with another Hard Candy product. I've heard so much goodness about Hard Candy's Glamoflauge Heavy Duty Concealer and couldn't wait to get my hands on them.

I initially got it in the color, light. Unfortunately, I realized afterward that it was too light for me and I couldn't blend it in because the color did not match my skin at all.

I was so desperate to trying out this concealer and write a review for it that I said, "yes" to tan because they ran out of medium. The tan color is kinda dark for me and it has a very yellowish tone to it. But that's OK - at least it's closer to my shade than the light. At the moment, I'm kinda doing my own mixing with the light and tan to achieve the shade that works for me and it's working pretty well. Besides, I figured that summer's just around the corner and I'm probably gonna get tanned anyway no matter how much I try to avoid the sun.

Let me start off by saying, this is by far the BEST concealer that I have ever used. The consistency is thick, but it's also what allows it to provide a great coverage. Of course, if you have bumpy skin, it's not not going to help much with that, but as for brown marks left over from acne, it does a pretty awesome job covering them.

I usually apply this on top of my tinted moisturizer, set it with some matte pressed powder and it lasts me whole day. I don't really do any touch ups during the day or anything, so the staying power is really there. While I was in Orlando, we went to a couple rides in the theme parks that got us completely soaked from head to toe (all the way down to my underwear sometimes) and this concealer still stays on. It's AMAZING!

The light in my bathroom is kinda yellow, hence the picture quality. But this is what it looks like when it's blended. You can see that it matches my skin color a lot better.

Personally, I don't think I would recommend this for concealing dark circles under the eyes. I don't have bags under my eyes, (at least that's not what they are) but I do notice creasing very early on with this concealer. It's also not as watery as many concealers I've used before, so perhaps that's why it creases so easily.

I'm gonna sound so repetitive when I say this, but a little really does go a long way for this product. This concealer is so opaque and so thick that it can do a lot of covering with minimal amounts. If you apply too much, it's going to look cake-y. This little tube of concealer is going to last me a lifetime, but if I do ever run out, I'm definitely buying again (provided that Hard Candy keeps this as a regular item in their makeup line, which personally I think they should).

The product also comes with a concealer pencil, which I haven't really used much because I find it to be too hard to be used on your face. According to the box, you can cover tattoos with this concealer by first outlining the tattoo using the pencil. So I guess that's what it's for. I cannot really test that out because I don't have any tattoos, but considering how opaque this concealer goes on, I wouldn't be surprised.

You can get your own from Walmart in Canada and USA for $6.
Cake is no longer just something to eat. Nowadays, it's a work of art. This is by far, one of the best MAC makeup cakes I've ever seen. It looks so real that when I first saw the thumbnail of the picture, I thought it was real makeup placed on top of the cake.

Today, a year ago, I posted my very first blog post on this blog, which means that today marks Bathroom Dancer's First Birthday! I am so glad that I now have over 340+ followers to share it with on its very first birthday! You are the reason I blog and I do not know where to begin to express my appreciation for you all.

THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU!
With love,
I cannot sleep at night if I know my face is not at its cleanest. A couple months ago, I was looking at the Clarisonic, but then decided against it because it was way over my budget. On the other hand, check out Sigma Beauty's new release!

Not only is the Cleansing and Polishing Tool a great product overall, but there are two major advantages to buying this product over the competition: the rotating brush heads and the price! The specially designed brush heads rotate instead of oscillate to fully cleanse and exfoliate your skin, leaving it flawless. For only $39, you will receive the cleansing tool, a storage case, and 3 unique brush heads! That is about a fourth of the cost for similar products on the market!

You can now say goodbye to dull and uneven skin! With the new Sigma Beauty Cleansing and Polishing Tool you can polish your skin to be perfectly smooth and flawless before and after your makeup application.

POLISH IT!

Add a small amount of your favorite facial cleaner directly to the brush head prior to application. Use the medium or firm brush head once a week to exfoliate dead skin cells and expose a fresh healthy layer of skin. If you have sensitive skin, use the softest brush head at all times. Keep your entire exfoliation process under one minute.

Use the soft brush head for daily polishing. This should be a quick process kept under one minute to lightly remove dead skin cells prior to makeup application.

Once your skin is exfoliated and polished, proceed with the application of your favorite moisturizer and makeup. You will notice that the polishing process will help your moisturizer deeply penetrate your skin, which will create the perfect base for flawless makeup application!

Adjust this routine as needed. Once you get started, you can customize the intervals between exfoliation and polishing to fit your needs and your skin type. Moderation is key!

CLEANSE IT!

Now is the time to get back to natural skin by efficiently removing all makeup residues from your skin!

Always use the softest brush head during the cleansing process.

Remove excess makeup prior to cleansing with facial wipes containing makeup remover.

Add a small amount of your favorite facial cleanser to the softest brush head and gently work it onto your skin using the Sigma Beauty Cleansing and Polishing Tool. Keep your cleansing process under one minute.

Apply your favorite moisturizer and you're ready for your beauty sleep!

I just got back from my trip to Orlando. Even while I was in Orlando I was thinking about you beautiful ladies out there looking for some neat stuff I can share with you all. It was really sad to leave Disney World, but I found one of most perfect beauty experience for those who are interested in a little magic for their young ones.

Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique is a beauty salon where little girls are magically transformed into little princesses and is available at 2 locations: World of Disney Store in Downtown Disney Area and Cinderella Castle at Magic Kingdom theme park. I believe that it's also now available at Disneyland as well, although I'm not 100% sure.

It's hard not to feel as happy as a princess in this charming little boutique, owned by Cinderella's Fairy Godmother and operated by Fairy Godmothers-in-training. The boutique offers multiple hair styles, nail color, make-up and a total package including Disney Princess costume and photographs.

There are 3 packages to choose from:

Coach Package includes hairstyling and shimmering makeup — starting at $49.95 USD plus tax.

Crown Package includes hairstyling, shimmering makeup and nails — starting at $54.95 USD plus tax.

Castle Package includes the Crown Package plus the Imaging Package (one 6" x 8" and four 4" x 6" photos in a princess-themed photo holder) and complete costume of your choice with accessories — starting at $189.95 USD plus tax.

Girls who are getting any of the above 3 princess makeovers can also choose from 3 different hairstyles:

Disney Diva

Pop Princess

Fairytale Princess

On the brochures, it says that "guests must be at least 3 years of age". I'm over 3 years of age and would love the opportunity to get pampered like a Disney Princess, but I doubt they'd have princess outfits in my size. I *might* be able to fit in an XL if it's available...

Despite all that, I find this to be a little on the pricey side (especially for little girls). But then again, I'm also really cheap. From what I saw in Disney World, many people appear to be more than willing to pay for this experience for their child.

What do you think?
Would you try this?
Would you ever pay for your child to try this?
Which Disney Princess would you want to transform to?

If you are heading to Disney World and would like to try this out (or let your child to try this out), reservations are recommended and can be made up to 180 days prior to arrival. To make your reservation, call 407-WDW-STYLE (407-939-7895).

For the longest time, I've been avoiding this little bag of goodies because I thought Dior tested on animals. PETA doesn't have them listed on either of their lists, but after further research, most sources say that Dior does NOT test on animals [link]. Well, wait no more! Sigma Beauty sent me an email this morning notifying me of a new product that they just released called Dry'n Shape! I initially thought there was a mini electric fan hooked up somewhere, but apparently not. With no batteries required, check out Sigma Beauty's new Dry'n Shape:

I caved in. I couldn't resist that cute little face. After announcing that Karmaloop had Kandee Johnson's legendary Hello Kitty handbag a couple months ago, they started selling like hot cakes! They sold out once, but then restocked. I was lucky enough and managed to grab the very last one after they restocked. Now my mom really wants one, so I hope they will restock again - haha!

Not many websites let you see the inside of the bag, so let me show you.

On one side, we have a zippered pocket (where you can store stuff you don't want other people to see). On the other side, there's a cell phone pocket and a flat pocket you can store your keys/ipod. I'm sorry it's kind of hard to see. But it's there! I purposely used my cell phone to model it for you.

There's a story that came with this bag:

I signed up to be a Karmaloop representative last summer around the same time I started this blog. I didn't heavily advertise it or anything because that wasn't my goal for this blog. I did, however, post my rep code to coupon websites to help generate some exposure as well as let my readers know about deals I find on Karmaloop, such as this HK bag. Either way, in December, someone used my rep code and bought a generous amount of stuff, so I got quite a number of points from that. I didn't even know because Karmaloop doesn't notify their reps when they make a sale. It was just a fluke that I even saw it.

Anyway, as a Karmaloop rep, once I earn a certain amount of points through sales, I can submit a number of banner designs to earn additional points within a time frame after the sale was made. So from the points I made through sales and submitting in creative banners, I managed to trade in the points for a gift card and used it towards this handbag!

I feel really lucky and am so grateful for whoever used my rep code back in December... So, how do you like my new handbag?

Well, tomorrow's the big day! I can't imagine what it's like to be under so much public pressure. What's most appealing to me about the Royal Wedding has been all the souvenirs that people have been trying to sell, and here are some of the greatest ones on huge list (not in any particular)! Warning: this post may contain adult content.

Royal Couple Tea Bags

With Royal Wedding memorabilia selling rapidly in Europe, one German company has capitalized on a famous British commodity: tea. The bags are attached to quirky cartoons of Prince William and Kate Middleton, complete with arms so they can be hung over the rim of a teacup. While Prince William is depicted in traditional British military garb, Kate Middleton is seen in a bridal veil, wearing a bright blue engagement ring and holding a wad of cash.

William and Kate PEZ Dispensers

Here are some creepy PEZ dispenders made to celebrate the royal wedding. PEZ makes around 80 million dispensers and 4.6 billion sweets a year, but unlike other popular models the William and Kate figurines will not dispense sweets through their mouths.

Royal Virility Performance Beer

Known for its eccentric brews, Brew Dog has announced a creation made specifically for the royal wedding. It's called "Royal Virility Performance," and it's an India Pale Ale containing herbal Viagra, chocolate, goat weed and a "healthy dose of sarcasm".

Crown Jewels' Condoms of Distinction

Crown your lucky Charms with a Royal Condom of Distinction that was produced in special celebration packs that bear the slogan: "Like a royal wedding, interaction with a loved one is an unforgettable occasion".

Royal Barf Bags

Are you sick of all the Royal Wedding coverage yet? These simple paper bags, adorned with an image of the prince and his fiancee beneath the motto "Throne Up," come in red, white and blue. Keep this handy tomorrow.

You only have a couple more days to enter my Sigma F80 Giveaway!
