My ex husband and I have tried to make our relationship work, moving in and out with each other about four times since our divorce 15 years ago.

We finally bought a condo last year together, one year ago, and we still fight. Our fights are now upsetting our 8-year-old granddaughter.

If he's had sex within the Last 90 days..eatin out some chick and kissing you..he could have gonorrhea of the Throat!...You could be sucking up some other chicks coochie cooties from the night before!...Spend enough time with the dude that you know and ASK. Hesitation suggest a lie. Listen between the lines...listen to the silence and the umms and ahhs. Hes probably NEVER been asked that before. Take your time.

3) What are your relationship Goals: You need to know if a man wants the same type of relationship that you want! If he says hes just "kickin it" believe that! If he says he has no goals...then he is not looking for a serious relationship...however he may be open to one. If he says casual..he is not seeing you as relationship potential...YET! A man will answer according to his level of interest in you!!...Listen closely. Don't date a man who doesn't want what you want.

4) What type of women do he respect: He will hesitate if you are not the type of woman that he respects. Listen closely. If he says his Mom..and his Mom is a Deaconess at the church who has been married 40 years..and you're dressed like a hoochie, four martini's to the wind...your in trouble!!...If he says you...JACKPOT! Could be a line, but a good answer and a great start. If he says you..ask "Why"...

5) Do you have unresolved Feelings for anyone else: HUGE! Men take a long time to get over love, especially if they were cheated on!...Watch how he answers this question. Ask with compassion and listen with compassion..then RUN if he starts to cry. A man in LOVE with another woman is looking to use you to fill that void in his heart and in his bed. ONE text from his Ex and HE'S out!!....Don't open your legs until he opens his heart to you!...Make sure there is no one else occupying that space!!....

Its probably Date 6 by now and you have him intrigued! No surface conversation...A woman of depth and substance. Lets keep it moving.

6) Has he ever Cheated in a serious relationship:...HMMMM, listen to this story. Is he sorry or does he BLAME her?....Cheaters are typically not remorseful and full of EXCUSES. If hes embarrassed, that's a good sign...if NOT, you will be calling the TV Show "CHEATERS" if you date him! You have a right to KNOW if he is cheating potential!...

7) How Long Have Your Parents Been Married?...This gives you insight into his views on marriage and commitment. Listen to the answer for clues about his relationship with his parents. Men from stable homes, tend to be more stable and believe in marriage and commitment. If his parents were never married or he was raised in a single parent home...ask him what he wants for HIS kids and how he felt about his upbringing.

8) Whats your HIV status and when were you tested last? This should by NO means make a man who wants to have sex with you uncomfortable. If he doesn't like the question, safe sex is not a concern for him. RUN FORREST RUN!!...People who practice safe sex...expect this conversation!....

9) How do you feel about Sex without commitment?....Here we go! If he gets REAL excited about that question...beware..he make think you're down for it. If he states that's not his ideal situation...you've got a winner!!....

10) How soon do you expect Sex when dating:...Huge question..Huge. The correct answer is it doesn't matter!! If he says ANYTHING other than that...NOT a good sign. Unless of course he says MARRIAGE!!....
STOP getting INTO sexual conversation with THESE men! Don't let them take you there. Men you meet on the Internet are NOTORIOUS for that. Don't entertain it. Its a setup! He wants to see if you're DOWN for whatever. Stop doing that...hes NOT taking you seriously.

Ladies, NEVER be timid about asking for what you want. If you want LOVE, you have a right to wait for it! You're special. Men with substance, like substantive conversation. They're just not used to it. Work the questions into casual conversation and put them in NEED TO KNOW order. Every question is not appropriate for the first date..UNLESS hes pushing up on you for sex...THEN its INTERROGATION time!...You want some sex...take the stand and get crossed examined!!....Put your right hand on the bible and take an Oath...Jerk.

#Bruised But Not Broken

I'm not big on news because it can be down right disturbing at times. But, I had to re-post and share this article I read.

Ms. Sheryl Underwood is already known to the world as a comedian, some movie roles and of course as one of the Hosts of CBS "The Talk".

But, with all that being said, she's much more than her "Titles" in my own opinion! She was willing to be open and share with the world about an experience in her career as a comedian that could have been a breaking point in her life for everyone to see. But, instead she kept quiet...until she was asked along with the other host's on CBS "The Talk" to share a "secret".

I feel she was forgiving and honest - all the while keeping her Dignity and Composure. She could

have took the low road to downgrade those women, whom had previously downgraded and put her

down in the most disrespectful way.

But, instead Ms. Underwood chose to be the Bigger person through forgiveness and thanking those women whom had downed her. And, she continued over the years to work with some of them and be kind to them with a smile on her face. Remember, kindness is FREE!

As I listened to her tell her "secret" which she kept over the years....it brought tears to my eyes!

Don't get me wrong....it wasn't only because she had been ridiculed; but also because I was so

encouraged and amazed on how she continued to show kindness; knowing what they really thought about her.

I refuse to condemn them, slander their name, disrespect them or put them down.

I'm sure some of the Media Outlets have already jumped on that ban-wagon! Which is not really called for. People make

mistakes and say hurtful things that can destroy a persons self image. Believe me, I know from my

own personal life experiences.

Ms. Underwood has shown everyone that - it doesn't matter what others say about you, call you or think of you; it only matters what you think about yourself and what you choose to answer too

(in Tyler Perry's "Madea's voice)!

Plus, I'm sure those women are regretting the words they spoke!

Are You Being Catfished by Facebook or Online Dating Sites

Whether you have seen the documentary based TV show, are familiar with Manti Te’o, or saw the theme throughout last season’s Glee, you are probably familiar with the idea of “catfishing.” However, if you are an avid outdoorsman, you are probably confused about why this funny little fish is making national news. With the growing dependence on technology, and what I can only assume to be the cruel effects of boredom, catfishing no longer means sitting back in your boat with a line cast.

What is Catfishing?

According to a recent documentary, catfishing is the act of pretending to be another individual on a social media platform, such as Facebook, Twitter, or online chats, with the intention of making another person fall in love with you. Basically, it is like a secret admirer that you talk to on a regular basis, but you will never be able to meet them in the near future due to conflicts like long distance and low finances. From what we can tell, there is no true financial or personal gain from catfishing another individual, it is simply a means to play a very mean prank or to find an outlet to express your personality in what seems like a safe way for you, but will most likely cause great harm to your target.

So, how can you tell if you are being catfished? Because of the documentary and the scandal surrounding the Notre Dame linebacker, more and more people are at least aware that catfishers are out there. While there are now investigators who work specifically to determine the real identity of online companions, there are ways you can start to realize for yourself whether you are talking to the real person represented in the profile picture you see or if it is a completely different individual.

Google Image Search

For starters, if you have a picture of the person you have been romantically chatting with, do a basic Google reverse image search to see if their picture pops up under a different name or multiple different sites. If you can access a link to the image of your new friend’s profile picture, you can simply copy and paste it into the Google search bar. If you are able to save a copy of the profile picture to your computer, you can upload the image into the Google image search and it will find the same or very similar pictures in its search. If you recognize the images of your love interest in the results, but not the name(s), you may be caught on a catfisher’s line.

Profile Analysis

It is also important to search a little deeper into their actual profile. A low number of Facebook friends, for example, may be a sign that their profile is a fake one, recently created with imaginary friends that they may have also created, with the simple intention of trying to make them seem like a real person who interacts with other real people on a regular basis. If the majority of their pictures are not tagged, it may be because they do not have access to the real profile of the people in the pictures. To be safe, if you are running into some of these examples, try using a free social media username search to determine if that username is used by one of their real profiles that may have different pictures and a different name.

Face to Face Avoidance

Another red flag is the catfisher’s inability to ever meet in public or even do something simple that would allow you to see their face, like a Skype date. Situations like that should definitely peak your awareness that something fishy (excuse the pun) may be going on. If they never give you a way to confirm that they are who they claim to be, it may be time to start taking investigatory actions.

In my opinion, those who catfish innocent people searching for love should be locked up in some of the top rehab centers to help determine what kind of sick pleasure they get out of hurting and deceiving complete strangers. While we may not know why they do it, there are individuals out there who, for some reason, feel a strong desire to connect with others romantically as someone other than themselves. Is This Man Too Good To Be True? 7 Warning signs

You've found him; you know this guy you met on the web is The One. You've bonded over long online conversations. He made you laugh over the phone when you talked about your favorite movies, food and childhood memories. He's friended you on Facebook and didn't freak out when you changed your status to "in a relationship."

Yet as perfect as he is, there are warning bells going off in your head. It's been six months and he refuses to meet in person. Does this mean you should move on? Alas, in many cases it does. If you note any of these seven warning signs, it's time to throw this fish back in the online sea.

1. He’s Vague about His Marital Status

There are a lot of married men who troll the online dating sites for cheap thrills, but really they have no intention of leaving their wives. If he refuses to answer questions about his marital status or insists that he's moving out "soon," move along yourself. He's not going to leave his wife.

2. He Has Money Issues

If you've noted bankruptcy attorneys on Facebook asking him to contact them as soon as possible, that's a sign of financial trouble. It's time to cut and run.

3. He Won't Show You a Picture

Some people are shy or embarrassed of their decidedly non-super model looks. But if your guy still refuses to show you a picture after six months, somethings wrong. That means he doesn't want you to know who he is, and that could mean you already know him, or worse, he's already involved with someone you know.

4. His Picture is Too Good to Be True

It's certainly possible that someone who looks like Brad Pitt's better-looking twin brother is doing the online dating thing, but it's not likely. If you haven't met him in person and the photo he sent you of himself is too good to be true, he's hiding something. Drop him if he won't meet up.

5. He Lives 3,000 Miles Away

It's true that sometimes long-distance romances can work out. But if you're hoping to go the kids-and-marriage route, you need to decide right now if it's worth dating someone so far away. Otherwise, it's going to end in heartbreak.

6. He Won't Meet Up

Heard of the MTV show, "Catfish?" You could be a victim if your man refuses to meet up. That means he's not real; he's just been stringing you along with made-up names and stories for the fun of it. It's horribly mean, but it happens.

7. He Hasn't Changed His Own Relationship Status

After six months he's in or he's out, and you shouldn't wait around for him to decide.

Keep your relationship strong despite the distance

I grew up in a small town where people really did marry their high school sweethearts – and they stayed married for more than 30 years. I wanted to be one of those couples, too. But unfortunately, when my high school boyfriend and I went off to separate colleges, we didn't last long. Our phone calls grew shorter and shorter and then we only texted occasionally. While our relationship had been beautiful when we were together, we let it crack under the weight of the distance. We just couldn't relate to each other the way we once had because of our very different experiences.

Years have passed since that relationship, but I've been thinking about it more lately because my best friend's husband is considering trucking as a career. Marie* and Joe* have been together for several years and have a young child. Joe doesn't feel that he's making enough money at his current job to support his family and knows that trucking can be a well-paying career.
Marie wants to support him, but she's worried about how the distance will affect her marriage and Joe's relationship with their daughter. I've analyzed my past relationship and read tons of advice on the subject. Long distance relationships can work if both people make an effort. The key is setting a schedule, maintaining contact and showing affection. Here are 5 tips that couples can use to keep their relationships strong despite the distance.

1. Set a schedule – If you just call "whenever," chances are you'll wait until the day stops. Your intentions may be that you want to have the most time available to talk to your partner. But by the end of the day, you're likely exhausted. Complaining about your day for 5 minutes before hanging up the phone to go to sleep is not a good way to keep your relationship strong.
Joe could use his fleet management system to help him keep a schedule with his family. The system would require Joe to stop every so often, and he could make it a point to call his family during one or two of those stops each day.

2. Talk, don't text – According to Buck at Trucker Therapy, arguments due to mis communications are one of the biggest challenges truckers face in long distance relationships. When texting, it's difficult to determine the other person's tone. It's easy to read the message as argumentative, especially if you're already in a bad mood. Send loving messages to each other throughout the day, but save any serious discussion for in-person or at least for a phone call.

3. Discuss loneliness and jealousy – Understand yourself. If you're the jealous type, the distance can make you feel insecure about your relationship. If you're used to being around each other every day, you'll also feel loneliness than can be difficult to cope with. To succeed at a long-distance relationship, you need to have a strong foundation. Make sure you're comfortable discussing your feelings. Setting a regular schedule to talk will help with your loneliness.

4. Have a home time plan – Make plans when you are together. Do something special – even if that's just making his (or her) favorite dinner. You don't want to spend all of your time together running errands, so make sure you're only doing things that are essential when you're with your partner. If it can wait until your partner is gone again, it should wait.
You'll also have to determine what amount of "home time" is appropriate. Is it better to see each other for long stretches infrequently or for a couple days every week?

5. Fall in love again – Did you fall in love by writing notes in the hallways of your high school? Write each other letters in addition to your phone calls. This will make you feel close to each other and can give you a new way to connect with your partner. Send each other flowers or small gifts. These little tokens can mean a lot to your partner. The extra thought will let your partner know that he or she is always on your mind.

Within my own past relationship, I can see where things went wrong. We set a calling schedule of sorts – at the end of the day – but one of us was usually falling asleep or cramming for a test. We didn't make time for the relationship in our new lives and it fell apart. But you live and you learn. Joe and Marie have a solid base for their marriage. I'm sure with a few small adjustments to their communication styles; they'll be able to go the distance.

Having recently committed to a long-term relationship, I’m thankful for the chance to say goodbye to the relentless dating game and just spend time with the one I love. As I look around at other couples I know, I wonder how they will fare in their commitments after having been “footloose and fancy free” for so long.

Contemporary views on marriage are far different today than they were in years gone by, especially when it comes to intercultural relationships. Even traditional cultures are having to adapt and change to fit into modern times. It wasn't that long ago that interracial marriage was considered "taboo." Today, it seems to be pretty much the norm, although there's no telling what difficulties these couples and their kids will face in the future.

Not long ago, one of my best friends got engaged to a young Native American from the “unconquerable and unconquered” Chickasaw tribe. That caused no small stir in her conservative WASP family. After she had a heart to heart talk with her parents, they seemed to take it quite well, respecting her wishes and welcoming the young man into the family. But there’s also the grandparents, uncles and aunts and siblings to contend with - that's quite a few raised eyebrows over the prospect of her being happy and in love.

I’m sure his family has had their share of doubts contemplating how this marriage will work. His family has a strong sense of tradition and values that are passed on from generation to generation. There's probably a lot of concern there about how the couple plans to handle the cultural differences between them, beginning with the wedding ceremony itself. From all I can see, the couple looks very happy together and not overly worried about the differences in their backgrounds and cultures. At the same time, they’re not naive they know they face many challenges in their relationship, especially once they decide to start a family. Their cultural views will certainly come into play in raising their children.

Then again, there’s much to be said for the strength of love and conviction in a marriage relationship. If my friend and her Native American fiancee can face the challenges of an interracial marriage with open and honest communication and embrace their differences with understanding and acceptance, they'll do a lot better than most "conventional" marriages today. They'll also be able to raise their kids in a positive, meaningful environment that includes both of their cultural backgrounds.

I can't imagine myself in my friend's shoes, but I do admire the couple's faith and determination to make their relationship work; which is a beautiful thing. Who knows? It may very well be those challenges that bind them together and make their marriage succeed where so many others have failed. I'm sure as time goes on they will have many lessons to share that will benefit me and many others in our quest for strong, loving relationships that will last.

And who wants to date the guy who follows the pick-up protocol offered by relationship gurus at Gentleman’s Quarterly: “…here’s how you should open: Glance at her face, her torso region, her shoes, and then back at her face while smiling a medium-size smile.” ~ Mary H. K. Choi, Take It From A Lady: How To Take Home A Lady. Careful, Casanova, there’s mean girls out there, like the one at right, who will do things to throw you off your game just for the fun of it!

For those who manage to fall in love and sign on the dotted line, in spite of the likes of the above advice, you may then be feeling the need for even more paperwork in your life, and according to Redbook’s marriage experts it’s time to: “…draw up actual marriage contracts on everything from the amount of time [you] can spend golfing to learning to love each other’s pets…] ~ Erin Zammett Ruddy, Should You Sign a Happy-Ever-After Contract? Where do you both see yourselves in 10 years? 20 years? 50 years? Marriage is supposed to be "till death do us part," so it's important that you and your partner share similar goals and expectations for the road ahead.

After you're finished showing off your ring and daydreaming about life with your new hubby, it's essential that you plan extensively to make sure the marriage goes just as smooth as the wedding. This doesn't mean that you shouldn't enjoy the romantic mood of this time, but that you should balance realistic goals with your wedding day fantasies. As always, communication is key, so be sure to talk one-on-one with your spouse about your concerns so you can walk down the aisle with confidence.

Developing a close-knit social circle

Abuse in relationships, marriages and dating is a very serious topic and should not be taken lightly.

Every relationship has its ups and downs, but some problems are more serious than others. Some people justify staying in a relationship with reasons that simply don't excuse the pain and lack of respect that’s often present in bad relationships. And it’s possible that you might not realize your relationship is toxic or abusive.

Our hearts go out to Evelyn Lozada dealing with the aftermath of the recent abuse allegations against her newly-wed NFL husband Chad Johnson (Ochocinco). After Evelyn Lozada got into a domestic dispute with her new husband Chad Johnson this weekend, both parties involved have been tight-lipped - until now. Chad made a small social media move earlier this week by changing his Twitter avatar, but it looks like Evelyn is the first one to actually speak.

Sources are stating that Evelyn was the assailant instead of the victim. I call Bullsh**, if that was the case, then Chad should have contacted the authorities. It’s sad when a woman is victimized; her past is brought up and thrown in her face. Yes, we all know that Evelyn was definitely a hot head on VH1’s reality show Basketball Wives; but that does not give anyone the right to abuse her in any shape, form or fashion.

Evelyn Lozada has few words for Chad Johnson after his arrest for allegedly head-butting her -- first, stop blaming me ... and second, get help for your problems, now.

Evelyn tells TMZ, “I am deeply disappointed that Chad has failed to take responsibility for his actions and made false accusations against me...It is my sincere hope that he seeks the help he needs to overcome his troubles. Domestic violence is not okay and hopefully my taking a stand will help encourage other women to break their silence as well."

Chad was arrested and booked for domestic battery.

Our advice to Evelyn is, get out why you have a chance. Most abusers never change and try to justify their actions.
