A task we set upon my plate for creating a set of hosiery that would match the feel, style, and sophistication of Second Life premeire sculpted prim heels, Tesla. Taking into consideration to match the fine quality, smooth curves, and sublte perfections that makes Tesla's shoes what they are today, a large uptaking it was.

After three weeks and a nearly complete redesign, comes Boudoir Legs. Each set comes in 10 colors (Tan, Red, Blue, Pink, Chocolate, Black, Plum, Olive, Cream, and White) They are copy and mod so you can tint the white set to match your outfit pefectly and can save it too your outfits folder. Each color of the set has three different tops. Sheer to waiste to show those fine lines. A delicate lace top for the modest yet classy of us all. A low cut waste to fit those short skirts well adore. each pair has matching socks that cut just at the thigh seamlessly.

There are 4 seperate sets with different deniers (Opaque, Fair, Soft, and Delicate) to match your skin tone or your outfit perfectly. Each set in itself contains 40 differnt layers making them as user friendly, and user sexy as possible.

This is the first release in series of designs that will be seen at Battered Boudoir over then several month with new designs over the legs, and seams to match any occasion.

Tesla said best herself "Make them love the legs they are on" I'm proud that I could deleiver.

The newest item to Battered Boudoir is an elegant and sexy formal dress. Eve is a long flowing gown that comes in two versions. First version is the long dress with a different type of glitch pants than what you're used too. The glitch pants start solid from the top and then taper down into nicely blended hosiery down past the knee to preserve that elegant touch. The second version is a mid length skirt that comes with a normal set of glitch pants but add the seamed stockings included and it spices up the dance floor for those not so formal events.

Each Dress comes with a top that tapers down the front and back to show the sexy yet elegant side of the dress. Sheer gloves are added along to complete the whole look.

Friday night Merik and I was at the Velvet spinning hits from the old Woodstock days for an event there commemorating the end of the festival some years ago. Saturday saw us again sitting in our favorite movie theater over at squiggly's MST3K. The movie of the evening happened to be a film called Diabolique... super villian hero meets James Bond..meets Barbarella...meets B movie insanity.

After all that, and a fresh pot of wonderful coffee, came the birth of my new outfit.

Its a 70's retro style print with a 60's go-go dancer skirt..mixed with a long loose sleeve and closed collar to give it that serious feel. My good friend Lyanis helped me out with the hose matching to give it that perfect eye pleasing overall color scheme to it.

Add some boots, your favorite fashionista glasses, and you're set to travel the metaverse.

Theres eight different colors to choose from and as always a package if you love them all.

Sheer Desire

It was late Saturday night / Sunday morning, during my normal working hours. I was wide away with an exceptionally lovely coffee high going on. Most of my friends were in bed and I had some peace and quiet.

So I decided to work on what I've been pestered to make now what seems like months. So many people loved my stockings and hose, I kept getting the comments "make lingerie!". Well I opened my brand spanking new version of CS3 and got to work!

After adjust a few things here and there, a tuck left and right , in the end it wasn't so bad! Well except panties , those aren't as easy as one may think.

After all the sheerness was added, the perfect texturing, the name Sheer Desire just fit.

Then after the final set was in stone I guess you could say, added a variety of colors and made sure the shading stayed consistent. In the end got together 10 different colors.

Now since I didn't make it in the hundreds of layers I usually do, I decided the cost should compensate for it. Each set is 100L, or all 10 sets is 500L. I thought perhaps that was too low but so far the outcome looks great, and an overall great response from loyalists! (whom I love dearly!).

Well I suppose I should starts this out with a little about myself.

Like most Avies in Second Life, I love to go around shopping..clothes, shoes, you name it. Then there came a time that I said to myself "I need to do something here".

Well seeing as I loved clothes and shopping and such, why not try to make clothing! So I get my copy of CS2 (Thank you Merik!!!) and start reading a little into how to do things, where to place things, templates and the like.

My first creation was the half shirt with a kitty on the front, poorly outlines, roughly put together and took me I think 3 days of playing in CS2 just to get it! As horrible as it was (and yes its horrible) I was soo very proud of it! But I wanted to make more. As one can imagine a novice to CS2 can get really frustrated rather quickly, especially some one like me whos not very computer literate. Thats when I put CS2 down for awhile and continued shopping and mulling on about what I wanted to do and such.

Some months pass and I get a renewed desire to design again. This is when I ran into my mentor in photoshop Katya! She taught me everything I know, everything I needed to know and then some. After a few thonks on the head and some fine tutoring, I create my first dress. Nothing fancy mind you but a far far cry from 6 or so months previously with the 3 day half shirt.

Then I started getting encouragement from friends "make me this! make me that!", and I tried my best, got alot of practice in. This is when I entered in the LAME design mall, first under the name "Cinny's Secrets". Weeks go by and the LAME design store takes on a new flavor. This was about the time the name changed to Battered Boudoir, with the intent to making your grungy/Urban type clothing... well so I thought.

Some more time passes on, and instead of sticking to the grunge urban look, I just started designing thing that stuck me as a neet idea. So then as you can imagine the clothing just didn't match the store front so well. Instead of going through all the hassle of changing the store name again, I decided to just keep the name, but put on a fresh new look.

About this same time I did some penny counting , looked at several things like rent and such and decided for some creative freedom, the Boudoir neeed its own slice of land... So this is where Boudoir Isle came to be.

Now nestled in the South East corner of the Isle is the home of the Battered Boudoir. From there is where I place my things, listen to music and just enjoy the atmosphere of the store. If you haven't seen it I highly recommend it, its an amazing build and it awes me each time I see it. Special thanks got to Somatika Xiao, builder and visionary, I've yet to see anything hes built that doesn't amaze me.
