Happy New Year Bay Area Husker Fans!

Hope this finds you enjoying the holidays! Its been a pretty eerie December in the Bay Area without any rain or even cold cloudy days. Don’t get me wrong…I love the sunny 60 degree days, but lets hope the rainy season shows up soon or we’ll all be rationing water next summer.

As you are all probably aware, Carl Pelini, left for a head coaching position

Hey Bay Area Husker Fans!

Happy Thanksgiving! Hope you and yours have a wonderful holiday, and you get a chance to enjoy leftovers during the “Corn Bowl” (its actually called the Heroes Trophy) on Friday. And watch out for that tryptophan laden turkey sandwich…you don’t want to miss the second half because you are napping ;o)

I don’t even want to discuss last Saturday’s game…time to move

Hey Bay Area Husker Fans!

Wow! Now THAT was a great game! The Huskers appear to have found their stride and confidence, and as a result they jumped back into the Top 10 spot in the BCS poll.

But if you want to get a little insight into why you saw a team that had changed so dramatically, check out the link to the Ohio State post-game locker room speech by Coach Pelini below…awesome and

What a comeback! As the announcers said in the game, this was the largest deficit (21 points) comeback in Husker history!

We only need one more win to become Bowl Eligible, so this week’

Great watching the Husker’s season get off to a good start last Saturday…and this time on the Big Ten Network. Hopefully everyone found the right channels to watch on their cable/satellite provider. Although the Huskers seemed to have an easy time with Chattanooga, this week’s game against Fresno State could be a little tougher. If you got a chance to watch the

Ouch...that one will hurt for a long time...or at least until we win the Big 10 crown next year ;o) I have to say that if we had to lose to someone, I guess I'm glad it was Oklahoma and not one of the other southern conference teams. Even though I believe we should have won, I can live with that. If you look at the thin margins for all of our losses this year

Its truly fitting that this is the way it worked out. It just wouldn't have felt right to play either A&M or OSU again. Hopefully the game will be more about the match-up between two old

I don't want to spoil everyone's holiday too much by dwelling on the happenings last Saturday, but suffice it to say that I feel like Turkey Day came a few days early for Nebraska, and the Huskers were the main course. Always hard to beat A&M at their "Home of the 12th Man", but its even harder when they have 5 extra folks on the field acting on

Now we just have to make sure the rest of the North Division opponents don't try a sneak attack on us, and we should be set for the Big 12 Championship game on December 4th. The game tomorrow is another regional ABC broadcast, so check the details below in the watch party section.
