Applications process and information coming in the next 2 weeks insha’Allah.

I am a 32 years old Egyptian stay at home mother of three, who just finish my Tajweed course with brother Wisam Sharief, and I have to say this, before I started, I thought it will be another complicated non-understandable Tajweed class, but not just I really learned how to read the book of Allah az wa jal as it was revealed, this class was a life changing experience for me, and a turning point, it was beyond Tajweed, it was building a whole new pure relationship with Allah subhanaho wata’ala, I came out hungry for more, and deep inside I wished it will never end. I learned to connect with the Qur’an and feel it and listen carefully as each word is a word from God saying it subhanaho wa ta’ala to me.

I want to sincerely thank Brother Wisam for his great effort, to make this as easy at it was, and may Allah give you hassanat worth each letter in the Qur’an multiplied by infinite, Walahy you deserve it. Jazak Allah Khairan, and may Allah support and surround Bayyinah with his care.

This is your Brother Nouman Ali Khan. I and all of my esteemed colleagues at Bayyinah are barely able to contain our excitement in announcing that the Dream project is looking to become a reality in fall of 2010 as originally anticipated. We have finalized the location and are going to be signing papers at the end of March. Before then, we need to raise an additional $100,000 to be able to secure the venue, furnish it and be ready for the first batch of 50 students in mid September insha Allah. We are hoping to accomplish the raising of these funds by encouraging each of our locations to come up with only 10 Bayyinah well-wishers that can contribute $100 a month through our automated pledge form at bayyinah.com/dream. If you are able to contribute or know folks that would like to help out, please strongly encourage them to do so.

This is going to be the only program of its kind in America and insha Allah represents a major next step in the education of the American Muslim community. I hope that all of you realize the importance of the success of this venture and I pray that Allah makes the program a success and means of delivering goodness to communities all across this country.

As everyone has heard by now, there is a severe crisis going on in Haiti right now after the devastating earthquake there. Thousands upon thousands of people have lost their lives, and there are over one million facing extreme difficulties in receiving food, water, and medical care.

We encourage everyone to help however they can. We begin first and foremost by praying to Allah Subhanahu wa Ta’ala to alleviate their suffering and rescue them from this crisis. Secondly, we encourage everyone to do their best in fulfilling the rights of those in need by helping in any way they can.

Dream Project Updates

Regarding the Dream project, we have made significant progress in the last few days in regards to finalizing critical details regarding the campus location and layout. In a few days we will, insha’Allah, post significant details regarding our progress. With the help of Allah, and your sincere prayers, things are looking very promising.

The application process will launch as originally anticipated close to the end of December, and Allah knows best.

Br. Nouman presented the Quran in a way I almost never heard – a HUMAN form. By human, I mean that it can be related to MY life, MY experiences, MY interactions, and so much more. After this class, I want to treat the Quran more like my friend, full of stories, advices, and wrapped in an eloquent style – rather than just a simple book.

My experience learning the various literary aspects of the Qur’aan on this minimal scale not only gave me a higher level of yaqeen (certainty), but also helped me develop an immense appreciation, love, respect and admiration for the Kalam of Allah (swt).
