Hi Friends! I have to admit I've missed you in my absence! Things around the "new house" are coming along slowly but surly! The dining room is been a source of head ache as I can't make a decision to save my life.. Do you have a room like that in your home??

I thought I'd share a little sneak peek of whats been going on in the formal living room. I got this gorgeous metallic cowhide rug from Rugs Usa and I'm slightly obsessed!! Right now I put it in the formal living room but I keep moving it all over the house! It's such a gem it looks good everywhere! Here are a few iphone snaps (the quality is probably making my husband cringe) I'll share better ones later.. Promise!

Orange Pops

There is no better time year to incorporate orange into you home than now. Just throwing a few mini pumpkins here and there really perks things up! As much as I love my pops of orange I am ready for my winter wonderland! Soo excited to decorate for Christmas this year!

Gray Walls

I have finally decided that I want to paint my walls gray in my bedroom, so now back to the drawing board of trying to figure out a color. UGH Gray is NOT an easy color to pick! It can be too blue or purple looking.. Alll depends on the light.. Do tell though, what are you favorite gray paint colors??

Things have been soo hectic but I had to share this awesome deal that I found with you! I absolutely love wallpaper but I am always so hesitant to put it up because I change my mind so quickly. Well this is an good option because one it's a great price at $30 a roll and two its temporary wallpaper!! Easy to put up easy to take down.. Win, win!

I cannot believe the weekend is over! It went by ever so fast. We had a family party and an college friend in town, it was nice to entertain in the new home but I'm exhausted!! I swear I don't know how people are party planners. It's a full time job. So now I'm thinking of all things calming and oh so romantical! Happy Monday.

I love pretty little vignettes, all you need is a gorgeous mirror or a favorite piece of art and just start stacking pretty smalls and books and you have simple beauty every time! They are especially fun in an entry way, but if you don't have one.. use the hallway get a tiny table or make use your bedroom dresser to display lots of pretties!

Kitchen Details, and a Big Thank You!!

The kitchen is almost done and I'm sooo excited! All the finishing touches are coming together! The faux bamboo barstools will be reupholstered this week hopefully window panels too.... and

I ordered my kitchen pendant.. Hopefully it will arrive this weekend...

Graphic Wallpaper

I'm still loving it! It's funny how some trends you tire of quickly but I still love a graphic print especially in wallpaper! Everyone loves Imperial Trellis (ok some are tired of it but don't lie you liked it at some point) But anywho it's not exactly budget friendly. If you like this print look at Sherwin Williams they have a good selection.. When searing for a graphic print put in "contemporary" as a search keyword and that usually will get ya some goodies!

Snaz up those Doors

While standing in line at the Home Depot this weekend I cam across the Martha Stewart living catalog and so the cutest feature on fancying up some plan ole doors!! I really wanted to buy the mag but I have to admit I was too cheap to send the five bucks so I'm glad I found them online!

This could be easily be done with a little frog tape and paint!

Ummm can we talk about how fab these nail head trim doors are?! Love!

Ok this would take some work but still it's gorgeous!

Finishing Touches for the Kitchen

Im Finishing up the kitchen now the only thing left I need is a pendant light, and some bar stools. I am having a hard time making up my mind! UGH. Anyway here are some things on my mind..

The other thing I need is a small round table and a few chairs over that will be the light fixture.. It's right next to the island.. so here are some thoughts
