I am unable to change the connection type - the "connected in charging mode" is missing. When I swipe down, it says no Notifications. Where else can I change this mode? I have a DTEK50

Have been extremely annoyed with the overheating and slow charging of Priv. It sits on the charger all day, have tried with official charger and others too. The moment you remove it from charging, the charge seems to vanish even without any major use.
Couldn't have expected this from a phone like this.

Dear TY is blackberry planing to produce a newer device of this great device I mean the Priv ???

also why do not you update the priv Dtek 50 , Dtek 60 to android 8??? or at least 7 ??
Please answer to my question . because the battery life in android 6.0.1 suck in devices like Dtek 50 and priv

I've updated the PRIV OS and since then the voice comment not working anywhere near to what it used to be before. Is there is any way to go back to the last OS before the update. Is anyone else got the same problem. I used to love my phone until this issue.

last night while using my blackberry Priv an image came acros the screen indicatiing something couldnt be done (cant rember what exactly it said) tried to press ok or cancel (both options) it did nothing but return. in fustration i powered off the device . Went to power it back on & nothing, no power indicator. so i recharged it with factory supplied wall recharger, still nothing. I left it to recharge over night then tried my vehicle recharger. thinking it maybe a recharger issue, still zero power , completely black. phone was at 50% power when this happened.. please help only had it for 8 months still on warranty but i dont want to loose stuff oin their.

What I would like is to be able to add the content of an email to the notes of a new calendar event.
Used to be able to do it in BlackBerry OS6/7 with a small app "Add to Calendar".
Tried " Invite to Meeting", but doesn't seem to add content to the notes field.

Hello - you seem to know a lot about the Priv - I have found that if I have a 3rd party app keyboard set as my virtual keyboard then my Alt key (on the physical) keyboard with work only intermittently. I like the 3rd party virtual keyboard as it has more Emojis then the stock keyboard) any suggests on settings to fix this or is it just a glitch when using these types of apps?

Over the past two days, my Priv has rebooted a twice for no reason at all. A couple of hours ago, the battery was at 23%, so I plugged it into the original Blackberry charger. When I went to use it a 1/2 or so ago, it was turned off, and would not restart. Following the Help Blog I have tried holding the power button for 3 seconds, 12 seconds, and 32 seconds, but it is still dead.

Any suggestions?

having issues with using the phone on my Priv. Every time I make a call the screen goes black (or sometimes flashes on and off). I checked the proximity sensor using BB virtual expert and it checks out fine. Anyone else have this issue? any recommendations on how to fix it?

My blackberry suddenly stopped taking a charge unless it's turned off. I did not drop it. I have tried other cords and cords that work on other devices. I have cleaned out the charging port with a soft air compressor to remove any lint or foreign objects. Any suggestions?

Hi..

I have a question regarding Blackberry Notes.

In the first place i was using BB10 and Now im using BB PRIV , when im moved all the data from BB10 to BB PRIV everything was moved including Notes, but now i want to change my phone to BB KEYONE but it seem the Notes in my BB PRIV doesnt want to move to my new BB KEYONE.

I also cannot do backup my Notes from BB PRIV.

Please help me how to do transfer my Notes from BB PRIV to BB KEYONE ?
And how to back up my Notes from BB PRIV?

Okay so I have been looking everywhere and I can't find the answer - I have seen the android has lots of emojis that my priv doesn't even though it used android - ex the middle finger emoji and karate guy - I am fully updated anyone know how to get these?

i downloaded the newest update and clicked restart when it said too, then my phone gets stuck in the boot screen with a icon that tells me to push the power button for 15s, this only causes it to go back to the same menu. i found out how to get my phone working without the update but everytime it tries to update it does the exact same thing

I updated my PRIV on Monday ... in the afternoon it restarted it's self a number of times. Last night it wasn't letting me log in for a good 5 minutes and today it's now just a black screen (it was working fine an hour ago). Can anyone help? I've kept the power button held for a while and also put the power cable in (even though it's fully charged)

I have a bb priv st100 4 .. issue is initially connected on USB both charging and media card both detected but later only charging and a message appears unrecognised usb ... this is happening on every pc i try to connect .. please help
