What is noticable is the complete airbrushing of climategate , Glaciergate , the ongoing revelations about the head of the IPCC and Amazongate

The BIGGER question is this - isnt it odd that the young people of today arent caught up in the great debates of freedom v tyranny, monarchism v republicanism, socialism v capitalism.. and these ARE still serious and valid debates.

Instead, they get a free pass on "climate change" and are never challenged in their ideas.

They are NEVER challenged. - nobody goes up to them and says - "hey your political ideas are a load of crap and here's why". Oh no - cos it's "climate change" , here's a free pass. Gotta save the pandas and all that crap.

That is NOT teaching our young about politics. It is lying to them. It is misleading them. It is making them fucking dumb as a box of rocks.

Six school students have been unveiled as climate change "champions" to raise awareness in Wales over the next year.

Note the word "unveiled" - in other words, they've been appointed. By other ecofascist loons.

All those chosen will spend a year "in office" working on their own projects whilst also participating in the Assembly Government's climate change commission, meeting politicians and environmental experts.

In other words , political indoctrination. It's a re-run of the Hitler Youth or the Young Communist Party. Same deal.

Huda Zahid, 17, from Bangor, who will work on a documentary about climate change effects and solutions, said it one of the most important issues of our time.

But he isn't from Bangor is he BBC?

Actually I was going to comment on the rest of the students utterances, but it appears that they are all credited to one Huda "Not-From-Wales" Zahid - who in any case is probably an actor, and all the rest are actors, all hired by the climate change nutters on the BBC to shove this crap down our throats.

The line up of panelists is the per-usual leftist slanting:

That's a 3 to 1 bias in favour of the left.

Simon Hughes was particularly grovelling and dhimmified in the mosque, spouting "Sallam" to the audience and pronouncing "Afghanistan" with that gutteral "K" bit where the GH should be. No doubt he'll be converting to Islam soon.

It's a letter. With usually a dot over it when in lower case. Just helping you with this mystery.

You'll eventually come to a word beginning with the letter that describes a certain religion, which you fail to mention throughout your entire report.

I am not going to repeat the bloomin' obvious about all those millions earned by supposedly brilliant bankers in the City - whom, it turns out, were in part responsible for the credit-crunch part of the mess.

So the FSA, set up by Gordon Brown, gets away scot free from making such a botch job of actually regulating the financial sector..

I fear that our mortgage will be a millstone around our necks till we peg out.

Well, in your entire rant, you never ONCE suggested that Gordon Brown might actually LOWER taxes. I dunno - maybe he could privatise the NHS ,thus preventing taxpayer billions being pissed away on failed NHS computer projects. Or maybe introduce an Eastern European flat tax.

Maybe somebody could point Mr Peston at Burning Our Money before he goes off on one again.

For a supposedly "impartial" BBC, that the economics editor, no less, should go off on one whinging leftist rant, really does say a lot about the BBC.

BBC insults the Irish

When the result came in yesterday Mark Mardell looked shocked and sounded exasperated. The BBC has continually been running this line in its reporting of Ireland’s historic vote on the Lisbon Treaty:

“Just over three million Irish voters are registered - in a European Union of 490 million people.”

The implication is clear. Those beastly Paddies are depriving everyone else in Europe of the benefits of the Lisbon Treaty. They want to convey the image of a minority running rough shod over every one else. The BBC fails to mention that Ireland is not depriving Europeans of their say. It is the only member state which gave its people a say on the matter. It is the other member states who are depriving their people of a say lest they give the wrong answer. In those states, like Britain, it is their legislatures who decide what is best and hang what the people feel.

RTE radio are reporting that listeners are VERY angry with the Eurocrats ignoring the No vote.

Update: Get a load of the language used in this BBC report.

"But Thursday's "No" vote was more than the usual anti-European suspects, our correspondent says. "

There you have it. Anti-EU types are "suspects" and "anti-European"...

The BBC Trust has slated the BBC’s regional coverage in its main news bulletins and factual programmes, saying it is “falling short of its own high standards” and failing to meet its core purpose of helping inform democracy.

The Trust’s study was commissioned after accusations that the corporation was too England-centric and found that the further people live from London, the less they see their lives reflected. The study concentrated on health and education stories in the national news broadcasts; out of 136 stories, none were from the devolved regions.

My own opinion is that , if they stopped being so agenda driven, they'd might actually start reporting on the news.

Shilling for the Taliban

Barbara Plett dutifully informs us, in her typical Beeboid way , in this report on a U.S. airstrike on Taliban in Pakistan, that:

"There is increasing anger in Pakistan at US strikes on its territory which have killed more than 50 people this year"

So what about the anger of OUR forces and the Afghans with the Pakistanis who have done sweet F.A. about dealing with the Taliban on their side of the border?

Instead, that gets relegated to "rising frustration":

"There is rising frustration among the Afghans and foreign troops at Pakistani efforts to negotiate peace deals with pro-Taleban militants on its side of the border."

How the BBC can merely deduce that the Afghans are just "frustrated" with suicide bombings, funded and equipped by the Taliban in Pakistan, I just don't know.

In a 132-word videotaped pledge (still viewable on YouTube), Obama agreed to hollow out the U.S. military by slashing both conventional and nuclear weapons.

The scope of his planned defense cuts, combined with his angry tone, is breathtaking. He sounds as if the military is the enemy, not the bad guys it’s fighting. Here is a transcript:

“I’m the only major candidate who opposed this war from the beginning; and as president, I will end it.

“Second, I will cut tens of billions of dollars in wasteful spending. I will cut investments in unproven missile defense systems. I will not weaponize space. I will slow our development of future combat systems.

“I will institute an independent defense priorities board to ensure that the Quadrennial Review is not used to justify unnecessary defense spending.

“Third, I will set a goal for a world without nuclear weapons. To seek that goal, I will not develop nuclear weapons; I will seek a global ban on the production of fissile material; and I will negotiate with Russia to take our ICBMs off hair-trigger alert, and to achieve deep cuts in our nuclear arsenal.”

You can bet that Obama will not make this sweeping indictment of our security forces again as he tries to move to the center in the general election. But this is what he thinks, and this is what he plans to do.
