Actor Kangana Ranaut on Tuesday visited the famous Mumba Devi temple and Shri Siddhivinayak temple in Mumbai. The 'Queen' actor who was involved in a Twitter spat with the ruling political party Shiv Sena earlier this year, also recalled the "hostility" that she faced for standing up for her "beloved city."

She took to Twitter to share the pictures from her visit to the temples with her sister Rangoli Chandel and other family members. The 33-year-old actor went on to express her love for Maharashtra in the caption of the post.

"The amount of hostility I faced for standing up for my beloved city Mumbai baffled me, today I went to Mumba devi and Shri Siddhivinayak ji and got their blessings," she wrote. "I feel protected, loved, and welcomed. Jai Hind Jai Maharashtra," she added.

The 'Tanu Weds Manu' actor is seen wearing a green coloured silk saree during her temple visits in the city.

Actress Kangana Ranaut feels fortunate to be born as a woman, and says she is glad to work on her intuitions to let the gentler aspects of life drive her."

The actress shared her views on Twitter. "I feel so fortunate to be born as a woman, to be in sink (sync) with the cycle of moon, to always work up on my intuitions to let the softer gentler aspects of life conquer and melt me, I love to be eternally receptive and a sari accentuates every aspect of me, I love being a woman," she posted.

The actress also opened about attracting hatred for speaking up on issues. "I have been honest about the film industry so most of them are against me, I opposed reservations most Hindus hate me, during Manikarnika's release I fought with Karni Sena so Rajputs threatened me as well, I oppose Islamists many Muslims hate me, I fought with Khalistanis," she wrote.

The actress continued: "So now most Sikhs are against me, my well wishers tell me no political party likes a vote repellent like me, so clearly no political party appreciates me, most of you wonder why I do what I do. Well in a world beyond this world in the world of my CONSCIENCE I am appreciated."

Actors Varun Dhawan and Kiara Advani expressed happiness as they reunited with each other on the sets of Raj Mehta's 'Jug Jug Jeeyo' after the former's recovery from Covid.

The shoot for the film had halted earlier this month when Dhawan and senior actor Neetu Kapoor had tested positive for coronavirus. Both Advani and Dhawan took to Instagram to share a selfie in which they are seen wearing face masks as a precautionary measure against Covid.

Pakistani national-turned-Indian singer Adnan Sami on Friday slammed a troll who suggested him to spread love. A netizen hailing from Pakistan commented on a two-day-old tweet of the singer regarding the historical event of Pakistan's surrender day.

Commenting on the tweet, the user suggested the singer: "Try to spread love." Replying to this, Adnan said: "I always spread love; haven't you heard my songs? In turn, you should concentrate on spreading peace- Not Terror! ..Next!"

Karan Johar to NCB: No use of drugs at his party

Bollywood noted director and producer Karan Johar in his response to the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) has denied of any use of drugs at his party in 2019, officials said on Friday.

According to senior NCB officials, wishing not to be named, said that Johar in his reply through his advocate denied of usage of any kind of drugs at the party hosted by him.

The NCB has issued a notice to Johar on Thursday asking him to share the details of the party on the complaint of Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) leader Manjinder Singh Sirsa.

However, the official said that they were studying the response of Johar to the drug law enforcement agency.

Sirsa had approached the NCB in September this year over the alleged drug party hosted at Johar's residence in 2019 where several top actors were in attendance including Deepika Padukone, Arjun Kapoor, Vicky Kaushal, Varun Dhawan, Ranbir Kapoor, Malaika Arora, among others.

The NCB in the last few months has questioned several film personalities in connection with separate drug cases related to Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput's death and other cases.

Urmila Matondkar's Instagram account was hacked recently and restored later. But she has revealed that her Wikipedia page was edited too, her husband Mohsin Akhtar was trolled on social media, and they both had to face a lot of online hate and abuse.

Speaking to Barkha Dutt, she stated about her husband, "He was called a terrorist, a Pakistani. I mean, there is a limit to where it should go… They have even infiltrated my Wikipedia page and they have gone and put my mother's name as Rukhsana Ahmed and my father's name as Shivinder Singh, two human beings who must be living somewhere in India but I don't know of. My father's name is Shrikant Matondkar and my mother's name is Sunita Matondkar."

She added, "To top it all, my husband is not only a Muslim but a Kashmiri Muslim. We both follow our religions in an equally staunch way. That gave them a bigger platform to troll me and constantly target him and his family. It was very unfortunate."

Talking about compassion and the strongest aspects of being a woman, Matondkar said, "I don't have a thick skin but I have too beautiful a skin to let it be dirtied by these kind of things that come my way. I think sensitivity is one of the strongest points of a woman. Being able to have that compassion, that empathy and that sensitivity is what makes me a woman."

The actress was a child actor in Shekhar Kapur's Masoom in 1983 and she went on to do films like Chamatkar, Aflatoon, Daud, Rangeela, Satya, Kaun, Mast, Jungle, Bhoot, and Karzzzz.

Urmila Matondkar, who unsuccessfully contested the 2019 Lok Sabha elections on a Congress ticket, joined the Shiv Sena earlier this month.

Matondkar, 46, quit the Congress in September 2019, nearly five months after she was defeated by BJP's Gopal Shetty from North Mumbai Lok Sabha seat.

She joined the Shiv Sena in the presence of party president and Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray at his residence 'Matoshri' in Mumbai's Bandra area. Sena sources said Matondkar's name was forwarded to Governor B S Koshyari by the party recently for nomination to the Legislative Council from the Governor's quota.

Actor Kareena Kapoor Khan on Friday said the controversy surrounding the name of her child Taimur was "ghastly". In 2016, Kareena and actor-husband Saif Ali Khan became parents to a baby boy, who they named Taimur.

Soon after the announcement, people on social media started questioning the origins of the name. Reportedly Taimur was also the name of the founder of the Timurid Empire in Persia and Central Asia and had invaded India in 1398. During a virtual session of 'We The Women', journalist Barkha Dutt asked Kareena about how she navigated the phase of trolling. "What happened about his name was just ghastly. It was disgusting and I'll never forget it. It has obviously scarred me deeply as a person, as a mother. What I name my child, what I call him, is completely my discretion and of nobody else's concern," the actor said.

The 40-year-old "Bajrangi Bhaijaan" star recalled an incident where a famous personality came to visit her and the baby at the hospital and then questioned her decision to go with the name. "There was a famous personality who had the gall to come there, on the pretext of visiting me and the baby, and in the conversation, say 'what's with you? Why would you name your son Taimur?' It hadn't even been eight hours since I delivered! "I started crying. That person was then asked to leave. My journey with that started then, when I just made up my mind and said, 'this is my son, I don't care what happens, as long as he's healthy, happy, we're happy, that's it. I don't want to know what people were trolling, what was happening.'"

Kareena said she found it bizarre how people went back to "200-300 years in the history" and questioned the couple's choice. "How do you know I named him like that? We named him for its meaning - iron and somebody who's very strong - and the sound of it. It has nothing to do with anything that happened (in history)." Despite the initial controversy, the toddler has been an Internet sensation and is followed by the paparazzi round-the-clock. In August this year, the couple announced they're expecting their second child.

Actor Sonu Sood on Friday said he is deeply saddened to see the plight of farmers protesting against the three new agri laws and hoped for a resolution to their issues. Thousands of farmers from Haryana, Punjab, and other states have been holding demonstrations at Delhi's border points, protesting against the new farm laws, which they fear will dismantle the minimum support price system, leaving them at the mercy of big corporates. The actor, who was lauded earlier this year for his efforts in helping the migrant workers during the coronavirus pandemic, said he doesn't want to get into a debate as to who is right or wrong but only wants a timely solution to the problems of the farmers.

"It feels very sad. I do know there is a solution to every problem. I was born and brought up in Punjab, I have spent time with farmers and I believe Punjabi community can be convinced with love if we give them time. (Punjabi kaum badi aasani se manai jaa sakti hai pyaar se agar hum inne samay de toh)," Sood said during a virtual session of "We The Women", where he was in conversation with journalist Barkha Dutt.

"They are sitting at the highway, shivering, with little kids, some people have lost their lives, how long will we keep watching this?" he said. Sood said it is about time to hear and understand the grievances of the farmers. "When our family members are upset we try to cajole them, we don't ignore them. I think we will have to go back to them, cajole them, listen to what they have to say and listen to each other. I believe everyone is trying to get a solution. A solution will definitely come out of this." The 47-year-old actor further said that his heart goes out to the farmers who are on the roads and he gets saddened by the visuals from the agitation.

"Farmers, who usually at this time would be in their farms planting seeds, are now on the roads with their children... These visuals are something we will never be able to forget," he added. Also part of the panel discussion was celebrated chef and filmmaker Vikas Khanna, who said that the protesting farmers need "guidance and solution". "It hurts. My whole life is based on food. My voice comes from food. We know these people, we know their faces, when they talk we understand where they come from. "The pain they must be enduring right now "I think they all are looking for guidance and better solutions or leadership," Khanna said.

The farmers of Punjab have been protesting against the new farm laws at the Singhu Border. Celebrities that have stood up for their rights and spoken about them include Diljit Dosanjh, Dharmendra. Amid farmers' protests over the new agricultural laws, as stated above, Dharmendra on Friday urged the central government to take the decision "fast". The veteran actor tweeted a picture of himself, expressing sadness, and wrote alongside, "I am extremely in pain to see the suffering of my farmer brothers . Government should do something fast [sic]"

The agitation by farmers camping on the Delhi borders since November 26 to demand repeal of the new agricultural laws continued for the 16th day on Friday, with peasant leaders adamant on intensifying the protests further.

Farmers continued to be adamant on their demand for the repeal of the three new central agricultural laws. Their leaders asserted that in case the central government brought forth fresh positive proposals, they would resume parleys.

Shefali Shah is currently in the best phase of her career. In Dil Dhadakne Do, she played a housewife who's hiding some demons inside and puts a charming smile in public. She stood out in an ensemble of dazzling and dependable actors. In the Emmy Award winning show Delhi Crime, she played an investigating officer and sank her teeth into a complex part.

However, her journey as an actor and the subsequent success haven't been easy. In an interview with Times of India, she spoke about getting typecast early on in her career, turning down films and offers, and how Delhi Crime changed things for her.

She said, "I was typecast in a mother's role very early in life. I didn't even reach a certain age. I was 20. I did a show where I played the mother of a 15-year-old, I was 20 years old when I played a mom of 45. And then, when I was around 28-30, I played mother to Akshay Kumar. So I got typecast very early, if I didn't even have to reach a certain age point. According to screen time, I'm probably 133 years or something."

She also revealed how she began to reject offers and also stated the reason behind the same. "There were years where I kept saying no to work because it was just being so unfair. And all three of them put me into the centre of the frame. So it's really opened up for me, and I'm finally doing the kind of work I desire."

Apart from the aforementioned films and series, she has also been a part of films like Satya, Brothers, Waqt- The Race Against Time, Kuch Love Jaisa, and Commando 2.

Talking about marriage, Gupta revealed something interesting. She said, "I got married very late, I married at 48. What I realised after a few years of marriage is, you don't depend on him for your happiness. You do your thing. At least, he is not stopping me from doing my thing."

The actress has been a part of the Hindi film industry for more than three decades and acted in films like Swarg, Khalnayak, Balwaan, Veer, and Alone. She has also dabbled with television and done shows like Saans and Kamzor Kadi Kaun?

Anil Kapoor, Neetu Kapoor, Varun Dhawan, Kiara Advani, and director Raj Mehta had begun the shoot of their upcoming film Jug Jugg Jeeyo in Chandigarh last month but it had to be halted after Varun, Raj, and Neetu Kapoor tested positive for COVID-19. The team came back to Mumbai after the tests.

However, they are back in action and all set to resume shoot as they were spotted at the Mumbai airport, flying to Chandigarh for the film. Anil Kapoor arrived in style as always and could be seen wearing a mask to ensure safety and precautions.

Neetu Kapoor too wore a mask but put it down for a few seconds to smile and pose for the paparazzi.

Varun Dhawan looked dapper and dashing as usual in his Uber cool and casual outfit. The actor also tested COVID-19 positive and had shared a post with his fans on social media. He is absolutely fine now.

Kiara Advani seems to be one of the busiest actors in the film industry currently. She just had Indoo Ki Jawani and now has this film, which will be followed by Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2, Shershaah, and a film on the founder of Lijjat Papad that will be bankrolled by Ashutosh Gowariker. With minimal make-up, the actress managed to look beautiful.

Sunny, who recently flew back to Mumbai with her husband and children from Los Angeles, is currently shooting for "Koka Kola", a horror comedy. She is also gearing up for a fiction web series, and her current occupation includes the 13th season of "Splitsvilla" as a host.

She will also be seen as a dancer in the upcoming historical film, The Battle Of Bhima Koregaon. The film, set between 1795 and 1818, also features Arjun Rampal as a Mahar warrior.

Kareena Kapoor Khan and Karisma Kapoor are not only sisters but also great friends. The two, who share a deep bond, are regularly captured dining out or vacationing together. In a recent interview, Kareena opened up on the relationship she shares with her elder sister-actress.

Kareena revealed that Karisma is more like her best friend and that they share everything with each other, calling Karisma a 'go to person' for advice. Speaking to Pinkvilla, she said, "I think it would be my sister. We are really close. We're more like best friends rather than sisters. We share everything. There is complete transparency. I'm more of her elder sister like she says coz I'm always firing her and advising her. But, whenever she feels something, she is always my go to person. My immediate thing would be that I would turn to her. She is the person that would come to my mind."

Revealing the best advice her sister has given her, she said, "My sister has always been so supportive. She is somebody who believes in me 100 percent. She's somebody who doesn't judge me for anything. She is somebody who loves me unconditionally. Somebody who'll always tell me 'be real, be your own person, follow whatever you think is right.' My career path also and my personal life also, I think in many ways we're chalk and cheese. But, she's always supported. Even if she doesn't believe in something I do, she'll always allow me and support me to do that. I think that is the biggest advice that she's given."

This isn't the first time Kareena has made her affection towards Karisma public. In a recent interview, Bebo had talked about working with her sister. She said, "We have always wanted to work together but till now we haven't got that kind of script. We have not liked anything. Somebody should come with a good script then, we will consider."

And there were reports that the sister-duo could be collaborating for Zubeidaa 2. A source had stated, "Khalid had written the script of Rutbaa (The Honour) keeping Karisma and Kareena in mind. The sequel will make Karisma appear only in flashbacks as the main character would be Kareena who would be investigating her mother's mysterious death. But as he's very busy writing the script for his next project - the sequel to New Delhi Times, Khalid hasn't been getting much chance to make that movie, so he is converting the research material into a novel, called The Imperfect Prince."

Some time back, we saw the two sisters shooting for a commercial. Karisma gave her fans a sneak-peek into behind the scenes from a shoot that the sisters are working on. On the work front, Kareena Kapoor Khan will be next seen in Laal Singh Chaddha. The actress was recently in Delhi shooting for the film. The film will see her reunite with Aamir Khan on-screen. Laal Singh Chaddha is an adaptation of Tom Hanks' movie Forrest Gump. It is adapted by Atul Kulkarni and is directed by Advait Chandan. Speaking about the film, the music is by Pritam and lyrics by Amitabh Bhattacharya. The actress is also a part of Karan Johar's Takht.

Karisma, on the other hand, has been a part of successful films like Raja Babu, Saajan Chale Sasural, Judwaa, Hero No. 1, Haseena Maan Jaayegi, Dulhan Hum Le Jayenge, Dil To Pagal Hai, Raja Hindustani, Jeet, and was last seen in the show, Mentalhood.

Unpaused Movie Review: Watch, but pause for thought!

I've taken a whole day to watch Unpaused, pausing for hours between each short film in this anthology. Just because a film is short, doesn't mean you don't allow it to simmer and seep in, before jumping on to the unrelated next, as if binge-ing on a show.

Have learnt this the hard way — agreeing to judge short film competitions in the past, knowing that all the movies combined clock an easy-peasy three hours max (a regular '90s Hindi picture). Only that once you're through, you're frickin' so mentally exhausted, it's hard to recall one from the other way.

Amazon Prime Video should display Unpaused, listing each short as a separate episode to click on — the way Netflix has, with its simultaneously released Tamil shorts' anthology Paava Kadhaigal. That's how you'd find Black Mirror on Netflix as well.

Although the sheer intensity of watching multiple episodes of Black Mirror as a continuous viewing experience, I suspect, has intimidated many — making it the most loved, least watched TV shorts' series ever.

Speaking of which, clearly the first short in this five-film lockdown/pandemic omnibus, super-fine Glitch (directed by Raj&DK), seems an ode of sorts to Charlie Brooker's Black Mirror, while the fourth, and quite likely the best, Avinash Arun's Vishaanu, unquestionably bears a touch of Bong Joon-ho's Parasite.

The second one, and the weaker link of the lot, Nikkhil Advani's The Apartment is instantly inspired by a series of suicide deaths during 2020. The other two, Tannishtha Chatterjee's Rat-a-Tat and Nitya Mehra's Chand Mubarak — performance-heavy — are about unlikely relationships that develop during isolation; my darling quarantine, if you may.

All of them essentially examine the onset of a new 'normal' or 'paranormal', as it were. Which was also the case with Amazon Prime's similar collection in Tamil, Putham Pudhu Kaalai, that dropped in October 2020. That one, for the most part, was so astoundingly amateurish (except for a couple of shorts) that I simply couldn't believe some of the names associated with it; notably, Mani Ratnam.

Unpaused is Bombay's version of the same Chennai anthology. In every sense, it is substantially superior, with smarter scripts, and with a sense of a beginning, middle and end. Amazon's involvement, and therefore the top producers/directors on the roster, ensures, one, top class camera work and production design.

Besides, a wide array of A-level actors that you can marvel at, even while the genre usually lends itself to audition tapes for raw/untested talents. Many thanks to OTT as an entertainment platform in itself that some of the actors on this series, in particular Geetika Vidya Ohlyan (from Netflix's Soni) or Abhishek Banerjee (from Amazon Prime's Paatal Lok) would've have been relegated in traditional cinema to junior artistes.

They're solid stars in their own right on screen here (in Arun's Vishaanu), with the stunning Marathi heroine from Sairaat, Rinku Rajguru, paired alongside charm-personified, Lillette Dubey (in Chatterjee's Rat-a-Tat). Taking away nothing, of course, from bona fide Bollywood leads, Richa Chadha (in Advani's The Apartment) or Gulshan Devaiah and Saiyami Kher (in Raj&DK's Glitch).

Shining special torchlight though on the boy opposite Ratna Pathak Shah in Mehra's short, Chand Mubarak — young Shardul Bharadwaj. Most recently we saw him kill it in the ultimate 'cinema verite' festival film, Eeb Allay Ooo, that's also opened in Indian theatres. If desi film awards were merit-based, he'd be nominated for all top prizes of 2020 for Eeb by Feb.

What's equally cinema verite like, or true, for lockdown films in general? And it's a genre, alright. That all the actors (including the crew) in the movie, at least emotionally, in some ways, have been through what they intend to express, before the camera — a life during pandemic itself. As has the rest of the planet. Can't think of any human experience you can say that for — maybe a solar/ lunar eclipse (but not even that).

It leads to two things. Abundance of material as personal responses. And the clichés of thali banging, etc. Hell, my inbox is full of short films — made by every Gopal, Ram, or Verma, with a cellphone. They're hard to sit through. And, no, I will not watch your short film; life's too short. That said, glad that I gave this time, aaram se, to relive the universal sci-fi/medical/emotional trauma/drama that we're all still living through, as we speak.

Anil Kapoor: I shamelessly approached Anurag Kashyap for film

If Anil Kapoor had his way, he would have joined forces with Anurag Kashyap in the early 2000s. But the universe had its own plan — his wish has been fulfilled this year as they share screen space in Netflix's black comedy, AK vs AK that sees the actor and the filmmaker play themselves. The Vikramaditya Motwane-directed film has Kapoor in desperate search of daughter Sonam after Kashyap abducts her.

In the mockumentary's trailer, Kapoor is seen asking Kashyap to make a film with him. Ask the actor if he has ever reached out to a filmmaker for work, and he says, "I am a hungry actor. There have been times when I have told a director that I want to work with him, and he has misunderstood it, thinking, 'Iska time kharab chal raha hai. Iss liye kaam maang raha hai.' I have smiled through such situations, knowing that my call fed his ego. On other occasions, if a filmmaker is new, he may not know how to approach a star. In such cases, one can break the ice by approaching him. Either way, I don't have an ego. If I find a good director, I will go up to him."

In a classic case of art imitating life, the senior actor shares that he had, in fact, reached out to Kashyap during the latter's early days. "I had the honour of giving the mahurat clap for Paanch. As soon as I saw the rushes, I shamelessly approached Anurag, and told him that I want to do a film with him. He wrote not one, but two films for me — Allwyn Kalicharan and Grand Hotel. Unfortunately, neither of the movies was made. Then, I pursued him to write the dialogues for Nayak [2003]."

Kapoor, who has spent close to four decades in the industry, appears to be enjoying his current creative phase as he balances a mainstream Race 3 with the experimental AK vs AK. "[In my younger days] when I would pick an out-of-the-box project, mainstream filmmakers used to get upset, saying, 'Arre, yeh phir art film kar raha hai.' I used to compromise on mainstream films for movies that would challenge me."

Firdous Begum, the famous Pakistani veteran actress who shot to fame for her iconic role in 1970's movie 'Heer Ranjha', passed away here on Wednesday. She was 73. Firdous was shifted to a hospital here on Tuesday due to a brain haemorrhage where she breathed her last here on Wednesday, according to her family.

A leading lady of Pakistani films from 1970s to 1980s, Firdous started her film career in 1963 with a movie 'Fanoos' in which she had a supporting role. She got a break from movie 'Malangi' in 1965 and thereafter there was no looking back. Her iconic role in 'Heer Ranjha' made her the most sought-after actress in 1970s. Firdous performed in over 150 Punjabi, Urdu and Pashto films.

She married to fellow actor Akmal Khan who died in 1967. Later she married actor Ijaz Durani who played the male lead in 'Heer Ranjha.' She is survived by her three children, two sons and a daughter.

Salman Khan reunites with Dabangg 3 (2019) co-star Saiee Manjrekar in Antim: The Final Truth. She will be seen in a short, but significant role in the gangster drama helmed by father Mahesh Manjrekar. Sources say that her scenes are with the superstar.

Saiee is looking forward to team up with Khan exactly a year after the release of Dabangg 3 last December. The film also stars Sallu's brother-in-law Aayush Sharma. The project is turning out to be quite a family affair. Manjrekar's son, Satya, is one of the assistant directors, and elder daughter, Ashwami, who is a chef, is the caterer.

The film went on floors on November 16 in Pune, with Aayush Sharma playing the lead. The film is an adaptation of the Marathi crime drama ' Mulshi Pattern' which was released in 2018 and received a lot of appreciation for its intense storyline. Recently, the first look of Salman Khan from the film was released. Buzz is that telly actor Mahima Makwana, who featured in Sapne Suhane Ladakpan Ke and Rishton Ka Chakravyuh, will feature opposite Sharma. Some outsiders are welcome too.

Saiee will next be seen in Major, the biopic of the 26/11 martyr, Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan. The film stars Adivi Sesh in the title role and actress Sobhita Dhulipala is playing an important part in the film.

Since the time Richa Chadha-starrer film Shakeela release date has been announced, there has been great curiosity buzzing around the film. Richa will be essaying the role of a south adult film star Shakeela who was a cult figure back in the late 90s and early 2000 for her capability of filling up cinema halls through her presence in movies.

She was known to revive many producers career in the south film industry but her own life, in reality, had layers of several shocks. After receiving a thunderous response after the trailer of the film was released just two days ago, the makers have released the first song from the film 'Tera Ishq Satave' featuring Richa in a very sensuous and glamorous avatar.

The song is composed by super talented Meet Bros, sung by Khushboo Grewal and Meet Bros, and penned down by Kumaar. Much like the film, the song too is being also released in 5 languages, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam. The film also stars the versatile actor Pankaj Tripathi in one of the iconic characters along with Ester Noronha, Rajeev Pillai, Kajal Chugh amongst others.

The film is presented and produced by Sammys Magic Cinema Motion Picture Production and distributed by UFO. Directed by Indrajit Lankesh the film is slated to release on 25th December across in 5 languages.

Madhuri Dixit-Nene has been shooting for the Netflix show, The Actress, in Nashik. Hairstylist and makeup artist Nilam Kenia reveals a bit about her look in the drama. "It is inspired from daily life and organic as opposed to television shows where looks are fixed and controlled." Kenia adds that "open soft curls are her favourite and she carries them effortlessly."

Meanwhile, Madhuri shared a sneak peek into her 'fam jam' through a video that shows Madhuri and her husband Sriram Nene jamming along with sons Arin and Ryan. "A family that plays together, stays together. Come share our joy in this family jam session. Hope you like it," Madhuri wrote on Instagram while sharing the video.

"Although lockdown mein sab ghar pe baithe hain aur family ke saath waqt zyada milne laga, iss waqt ka kya karein (we all were sitting at home and got to spend a lot of time with family, but what could we do to while away time)? We can't go out to eat or take vacations. So, to make things interesting, we decided to take ‘fam jam' quite literally. Samajh nahi aaya (Didn't get it)? Back in May during lockdown, Madhuri made her debut as a singer with the release of her first single, titled "Candle". The song gave a message of hope amid the bleakness of the Covid-19 pandemic

Sunny Deol has clarified that his Y-category security is not in the wake of his comments supporting the government over the new farm laws. Buzz was that the Central government has provided Y-category security to Deol of 11 personnel, comprising two commandos.

The actor-turned-MP tweeted that he was given the security cover in July after it was reportedly said that his statement that "people are trying to stir trouble and the matter should be kept between the farmers and the government," made him seek protection.

His father Dharmendra, who is a former BJP MP, having represented Bikaner from 2004 to 2009 is supporting the farmers' protest. Last week, Dharmendra had tweeted, "I am extremely in pain to see the suffering of my farmer brothers. The government should do something fast."

On the work front, Sunny Deol, earlier this month, announced that three generations of his family -- his son Karan Deol, brother Bobby and father Dharmendra -- will be starring in the sequel to his much-loved film Apne.

The second instalment of Apne has been in the works for quite some time and now, the entire script is in place, revealed the makers. The movie will be directed by Anil Sharma, who helmed the first instalment, and will be produced by Deepak Mukut. A source close to the film shared, "Apne had touched a billion hearts with a good mix of action, emotions and values. Keeping the essence and values of the first film, Apne 2 takes the original engaging story many notches higher in its action, drama, emotions and entertainment with new characters being added in."

Apne 2 will go on floors from March 2021, in Punjab and Europe and the family entertaining sports drama is being readied for a grand release on Diwali 2021.

Singer Neha Kakkar and her singer husband Rohanpreet Singh on Friday took everyone by surprise after sharing the news that they are expecting their first child, going by their post on social media.

Neha posted a picture on Instagram, where she flaunts a baby bump. Rohanpreet is seen hugging Neha from behind. "#KhyaalRakhyaKar" (take care)," Neha, who is dressed in a denim dungaree, captioned the image.

Rohanpreet in the comment section wrote: "Ab Toh Kuch Zyada Hi Khyaal Rakhna Parhega Nehuuuu (Now, have to take extra care Nehuuuu)."

Sharing the same picture on his page, Rohanpreet wrote: "#KhyaalRakhyaKar @nehakakkar."

Neha and Rohanpreet tied the knot in October as per the Sikh wedding ceremony Anand Karaj. She had shared her wedding photographs on social media along with pictures clicked at her haldi and mehndi ceremonies.

Actor Jay Bhanushali took to the comment section and congratulated the couple. He wrote: "Congratulations Neha and Rohan". Musician Rochak Kohli said: "Mubarakan".

However, fans seemed a little confused. One wrote: "Itni Jaldi (so soon?)". Another said: "Whattt?" "Ur pregnant?" asked a user. A netizen questioned: "Were you pregnant before the wedding?"

Actors Sonu Sood has been named as the hottest vegetarian celebrities of 2020 by PETA (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals) India. The announcement was made by PETA India on their Twitter page.

While Sood has been named as the hottest vegetarian celebrity in the male category, actor Shraddha Kapoor has been given the same title in the female category. "Applause! Here are PETA India's hottest vegetarians of 2020: @SonuSood @ShraddhaKapoor," tweeted PETA India along with pictures of the two celebrities.
