Just announced at the Mobile World Congress 2012, HTC OneX is a new addition to the HTC One family of mobile devices.

The device features android 4.0 OS, the latest version of Android, with an HTC sense interface - Sense 4.0 . The device also features three touch buttons, for actions like going back , home and opening recent apps.

The handset comes with a large 4.7" super LCD 2 display, featuring 1280 X 720 pixels HD resolution and Gorilla Glass. The handset is 9.27 mm thick ,comes in black and white colors and is of the same size as HTC Titan and Sensation XL.

The OneX comes with an 8 MP camera, to give you an ultimate photography experience with five levels of LED flash ans automatic focus. The device also supports playback for 1080p videos and recording. There is a 1.3 MP camera in the front, capable of shooting 720 p videos. The music hub is a one-stop for all music apps.

HTC OneX also features a better image sensor and imaging dedicately for only photos and videos. The ultimate gadget is called the Nokia 808 PureView featuring a 41 MP camera, Belle OS and a 4 inch display. The price is being estimated at around 450 euros. The engine is a 1.3 GHz chip - single core and the phone features a 360 X 640 (nHD) resolution. The phone comes with a 512 MB RAM and 16GB of storage space. Mozilla has finally released the 10th version of firefox. This latest release comes with some major improvements and some new features. Version 10.0 has a number of significant features added, related to the web developer tools. This version also shows a better support for some web standards. This is the first official extended support release of Firefox.

There is a small change brought to the browser's navigation bar. The forward button will be visible only when the user navigates back a page. That means the button only shows when it can be activated. When the user clicks the forward arrow button and returns to the front of the history stack, the button will disappear again.

Also the keyhole shape is also only visible when a user navigates back a page. In addition, firefox has added the following features for web-developers. Firefox 10 has a new tightly-integrated developer panel with a richer DOM inspector and a tool for viewing, toggling, and modifying CSS properties.

how to make a pendrive bootable without using any third party software

In this tutorial we will teach you how to make a pendrive bootable. Suppose you have lost windows(the most common problem these days) and dont have a CD or a DVD but you have a soft copy of the O.S. somewhere else. Using this tutorial you can use that soft copy to install windows on your PC without using a DVD. We do it just by using a pen-drive , that is the most common component people have today. Using the method explained below you can install windows using your pen-drive. Using this method you can install windows 7 on your laptop or PC directly from the pen-drive.
Note: the pen-drive must have a storage capacity greater than 4GB for this tutorial to work.
Throughout this tutorial you will learn to automate the process of bootable pen-drives.

Go to any of your friends PC with windows 7(If you have lost your windows) and Just follow these steps:

1. Format the pendrive in the NTFS format first.
2. Go to start menu and type command prompt in the search box.
3. You will see command prompt(the one with the icon of a black windows screen) in the search results.
4. Right click on command prompt and select "Run as administrator".
5. A Command prompt window will open.
6. Now type the following commands in the command prompt window.
7. Type diskpart and press enter.(This is done to open disk partition program)
8. Type disklist (this shows the list of disk drives - pendrive is also included in this list) and press enter.
9. In the list of all the drives being shown on the command prompt screen, locate your pendrive and just note down its location - lets say its location is 'X'.
10. Now type SELECT DISK X (Note X denotes your pen-drive location) and press enter.
11. Now type CLEAN and press enter.
12. Type CREATE PARTITION PRIMARY and press enter.
13. Type SELECT PARTITION X and press enter.
14. Type ACTIVE and press enter.
15. Type FORMAT FS=NTFS and press enter.
16. Type ASSIGN and then enter.
17. Type EXIT to exit the disk partition process.

Now insert the windows DVD in the DVD drive or if you have an iso image of your windows, jsut mount it on any of your virtual drives(Read this post, if you dont know how to do this). Note the name of your DVD drive as well as Pen-drive. In general we have the DVD drive name as G and the Pen-drive name as I. Replace this G and I accordingly as per your system config, in the steps below:

1. Type G:CD BOOT ->press enter.
2. Type BOOTSECT.EXE/NT60 I: and hit enter. (This is done to update your pen-drive with the bootmgr code)
3. Now copy the content of your windows DVD or the iso image on your virtual drive to this pen-drive.(Be cautious: Don't commit any mistake during this process.)

You are done now, you have a bootable pen-drive ready to install windows.

Well looking at the picture,at the first instant, you may think that this is some calendar kept on a table . But give this thing a closer look. Its not a card , nor a digital calendar. This is a 13.3 inch notebook/laptop/tablet . Yes, manufactured by lenovo, this product was featured at the CES 2012 being held right now. With the release of some other notebooks, Lenovo unveiled this ultimate notebook called the Yoga.

As the name suggests, this notebook defines what's a flexible laptop. Its screen can turn 360's , leaving all the other notebook's behind that come with cool screen features . The screen is touch sensitive and the machine is loaded with windows 8 and is expected to arrive during the mid or late-mid time of the year.

The notebook has sensors that sense the rotation of the screen and turn the screen view upside down, to make the view straight on the opposite end.
Now you must be thinking - what about the keyboard when the screen is turned 360 degrees. Well, lenovo has the answer to your curiosity. As and when the screen is rotated, the keyboard and mouse turns off, thereby preventing and false clicks or keystrokes. Also the keyboard keys come with double paint layer on the characters printed on the keys. And the keyboard is at a level bit lower than the rest of the body surrounding it, thereby preventing and damage to the keys.

Experts are predicting that the notebook will come with a 256GB SSD and 8 GB of RAM, and 8 hrs of battery life, while the processor might be the intel's next-gen ivy -processors.

Aakash tablet now availale to mumbai college students at just Rs 1,138

According to a report published by "The Times Of India" Mumbai college students will now be able to purchase the Aakash computer tablet, which was launched in October, at just Rs 1,138. While the market price of the low-cost tablet is Rs 2,500, students will get it a much lower price.

Union minister Kapil Sibal launched the tablet for students across the country in October. It will now be made available to 100 varsities, including Mumbai University.

Rajpal Hande, director, board of college and university development, said, "We have issued circulars to all affiliated colleges and departments. They have to get back to us with their requirements. We are hoping that students will avail of the facility as they are getting it at almost a 50% discount. I am also told an improved version of the tablet will be launched in February, so the students might get an upgraded version."

Students will also be able to access all the online content for undergraduate and postgraduate courses that is being developed under the human resources development ministry free of cost. Students can place an order with their colleges or their departments.

The device will also enable students and teachers in the university to access the e-content anytime and anywhere, added Hande.
