If your daughter is wearing a formal gown and the groom is wearing khakis I would go for an in between. Something in a light or bright colour, pastels if you like how they look on you or a bright summery colour if you prefer that. Oranges, reds, pinks, goldy colours, light blues or mauves would look pretty on a beach as well. Something that’s flowy and not really tight or super straight or sleek looking, but be careful you never know how windy it will be. Take her que and definitely do casual-ish sandals, not necessarily flip flops if you don’t want but something natural looking for footwear.
