I love this idea and really wish I’d seen it before we finished decorating Noah’s room…yesterday!

With some beautiful spring sun making an appearance on Sunday we headed out onto Pittwater to enjoy the day on the water.  Now I’d love to say we hired a luxury yacht for the day but the budget didn’t quite reach that far.  It didn’t worry us though as a few hours pottering around in a little motor boat did us just fine!  Luckily we planned early and were able to get ourselves a little 5 seater from Barrenjoey Boat Hire up at Palm Beach.   

The kids loved it!  We had a picnic on a tiny beach just south of the Basin and then a motored down to Clareville (one of my favourite places!).  The southerly that hit made it a little bouncy but still lots of fun.  We then headed back to Palm Beach taking in the amazing house on the way… dreaming one day one of them will be ours!

I’m loving my new winter woolie from Witchery and necklace from Swish.  I headed out last Thursday night on a mission to find a warm winter jumper and headed straight to Witchery.  Luckily for me (and my son) I found the perfect one – mission over after the first store = result!  The next day I was shopping again this time for a birthday present although I ended up buying something for myself too.  50% off for this beautiful necklace.  Who can resist that!

Do you ever dream of living someone else’s life, well just bits of it?  India Hicks has more than a hint of dream lifestyle.  A beautiful house in the Bahamas, 4 gorgeous children, a successful business woman, perfect sense of style and a fantastic figure!  Just sometimes I wish I was her, if only for an endless supply of her products.

Last Wednesday morning I spent longer than expected in the doctors waiting room but I was secretly pleased we had to wait.  It was a visit for my son and while he quietly played lego in the corner I managed to sit down in peace to enjoy their Country Style magazine selection , although it was a little out of date!

I found some great new stores (which I’ll post later) but this little guesthouse caught my eye.  It’s definitely on my list for a visit the next time I visit Byron Bay…

Today was Deb’s baby shower and saw the discovery of my new favourite place to lunch with the girls – The Boat House, Palm Beach.    The sun was shinning, a light breeze, gorgeous location, yummy food and fab girlies to chat babies with.
