Of what benefit is art to a child, anyway?

Let’s look at it. By putting creative art in front of your child in everyday art, you are exposing them to a whole new world. Not only are you opening their imaginations and creative play, you are helping them to develop resourceful thinking at a young age. As they explore unique artwork, a child pieces together an understanding of the art piece in their own environment as well as the world around them.

With toddlers and young children under 6, the brain development and dynamic growth and activity is like no other time in life as it is with toddlers and young children. The “experts” do studies on early childhood education all the time. Governments fund activities for young children, recognizing the crucial time in a child’s development. The mind is mapped for the future between 0 and 6 years old, and it’s such a great opportunity for parents to expose their children to art along with academic learning. One has only to look at the Baby Einstein series to see this in play.
