If you have been lucky enough to see the new Leonardo DiCaprio movie The Great Gatsby, then Lucky You! The Roaring 20's is one of my favorite Fashion Era's and this movie came out at the best time. Fashion is already taking ideas from the past's Vintage clothing and vintage inspired styles are the latest trends. So here are some great sites to channel your inner Gatsby girl!

So this past week was the naturally beautiful British bombshell Audrey Hepburn's birthday. She is best known for Breakfast at Tiffany's, but also how gorgeous an classy she presented herself. So if your looking to get Audrey s look here are the simple steps. The Products we used are Profusions Eye shadows Halo- the palette 3rd and 4th color in palette (WalGreens), Cover Girl's Eyeshadow in French Vanilla, bareMinerals Mineral Veil, NYC Waterproof Eye liner in 932 Dark Brown Liner, Cover Girl Flamed Out Mascara in Very Black Blaze, and Benefits Stay don't Stray!

1) Start with a good base. Either Concealer, or an all in one Concealer/Primer like Benefit's Stay don't Stray This has added vitamin's C & E for hydration and anti-aging! It is very light yet covers great. Can wear it alone for a great nude, and natural look. But it does it's job! Really does make shadow more vibrant and last ALL DAY! Had a sample that lasted a good month and ended up using it almost everyday. So worth buying a full size product and becoming an everyday beauty product.

2.)Start with a dark brown and cover the whole eyelid but stay under the brow bone.

3) Add a light shade of light brown/nude on the brow bone Blend with a rounded Eye Shadow Brush

4.) Finish with an Ivory/White at the Very Top under the brow.

5) Use a Dark Brown Eyeliner and line the Top Lid from one corner to another.

6.) Apply your translucent powder to face

6) Add Mascara Focus on the outer edges making them wing out. Use your Eye Lash Curler to help before applying mascara.

The Audrey Look is easy to do and simple. Yet makes any woman's eyes pop and is a great day look for work, school, lunch with the girlfriends or that special guy in your life! Letting more of your natural beauty out for the world to see.

I have been watching +Michelle Phan videos for years now, and if you have not seen or heard about Michelle yet check out her famous YouTube Channel She is inspiring and her story about never giving up on your dreams within the beauty industry is something to be inspired by. She is a doll and absolute beauty genius. So why I did not try Ispy first was one of my lovely beauty mistakes. Here is why out of any of the hot new Beauty sampling companies out there, you should sign up with Ipsy.

Ipsy Glam Bag: A mailbox excitement, so much anticipation I had awaiting this bright pink bubbly package! For $10 a month my first bag simply.... Rocked! The expectation I had was achieved. Great Products and sizing. Essentially we got 3 full size products
The Be A Bombshell Blush in Sweet Cheek. A nice bright pink that blends and builds. So if you looking for just a hint of color or a complete pop of the cheeks you can create with this product. Not to mention we just love the name! Next full size is the Mica Beauty Eyeshadow in Earth which is light pink/nude color that adds Ton's of sparkle! It is so light and feels amazing on the skin. It is pretty much 99% mica so thanks to the Ipsy website for the ideas to put it in clear nail polish, mascara, or lip gloss. If looking for a nude subtle day look this eyeshadow is great, but it also builds nicely. So to create a darker color just layer the eyeshadow holding your brush closer to the end so you have more control and pressure.
Love this shadow so much, I'm going to put our own Product use Picture on Bean Styled's Ipsy.com Profile. Which we have to take a minute an talk about. Not only do you get honest reviews from real women you also get to see how everyone is using it! That's how you take a Review to the next level.
Finally we received a full size Sation Nail polish in Love at First Byte! This is such a cute pink/nude color. Not only great alone giving nails a very healthy look, but also as a base under darker nail colors. Finally we received Healthy Sexy Hair Soy Renewal with Argan Oil plus it has Sunflower oil. It helps speed up drying, nourishes and protects plus adds shine and really helps keep frizz away! I love how the product has natural additives and it did seem to help cut drying time down a few minutes. The oils not only help protect and nourish the argan oil is one the best known frizz fighters so just adding more power to the product, this is worth purchasing the full size.

Yet probably the greatest thing about Ipsy's Glam bag that stands out from the rest is the BAG. From the bright pink package that makes your face shine when you open your mailbox to the bag the products come in. Unlike other like similar companies this is not only economically resourceful, it is also reusable. I have plenty of little cosmetic bags myself (I'm sure your thinking the same) but not only do cosmetic bags come in handy in organizing your beauty vanity, bathroom cabinets, purse, babies diaper bag, I could go on especially being a mother I have found them very useful. They also make a great gift bag! Giving it to your girlfriends with a present for their birthday is much better than tissues and paper bags that usually get tossed in the trash. Bean Styled loves to keep are earth clean, and find natural products even though we review all kinds. Some women may think they do not spend $10 on beauty products in a month but most of us do. An with the expertise behind Ipsy after you fill out your short survey feel safe that you will get products that you'll be using and not giving away. So this has made my decision that I will be sticking with Ipsy and cannot wait to see what the 2nd Glam Bag has in store! First up Beauty:
L'Oreal Ever Pure Moisture Deep Restorative Masque is an absolute Must. It leaves hair not only smelling fantastic, but ultra smooth. It is 100% Vegan and No Sulfates. Peppermint Oil and Rosemary oil help protect and condition the hair. Using 1-2 times a week depending on how processed your strands are could really help avoid that rag doll look. Remember: Try to get your hair trimmed every 3 months.

Maybelline Color Whisper. Gives you the right amount of color and gloss! +Bean Styled Photography Design tried #Baretobebold Absolutely love all the shades which are hot on lips this spring and summer from nudes to brights. It is very light, no tacky feel, and leaves lips soft. Our New Favorite lip gloss; Great Product Must Give it a Try!

Boost up your night moisturizer. What ever product you use as your nightly moisturizer add a little bit of your favorite oil. If your skin is acne prone add a few drops of Tea tree oil to your nightly moisturizer and apply. If your skin is dry try Bio-Oil,which is a favorite by Bean Styled great for moisturizing and dark spots. Apply at night then Exfoliate in the morning to have a look hydrated and glowing!

Another Glowing Trick to try is applying your moisturizer over your foundation. This works really great over the powder foundations. We use +Bare Minerals Makeup mineral powder foundation and then use a sponge to apply are moisturizer on the apples of our cheeks to get that natural glowing look. Just remember to stay away from the T-zone you don't want to have the Shine sweaty look, just a natural glow.

White Eyeliner is useful in so many beauty tricks and this one is also something to make those lips glow and pop! Using white eyeliner to just outline your Cupid's Bow (your top part of lip) and just a small half inch outline on your bottom lip. Smudge a little then apply lip color or gloss. Just like white nail polish under and nail color will make any color brighter. Filling your lips in white and adding any lip color will also make that lip color Brighter. So if that red you bought is a little to dark, try applying white on your lips before. It will also help gloss and lipstick last longer and stay in place.

Spring 2013 is full of Amazing Accessories!

This Spring the Statement Necklace's are in style. Added to structured necklaces is Bright jewel's, and coming in more than just white and gold looks but that rose colored and black metals. Gives a helping hand to those who don't exactly know how to accessories their outfit's properly. With all the different colors, and patterns that jewelry is being created should make it easier for women to pick out what set's off their outfit best. For Example, if your wearing the new black and white trend in a structured pattern add a statement necklace to play up the pattern. It automatically changes up the look. Gold is in, the rich color is being seen on all fashion jewelry and will be a hit this S/S13 so if your a lover of the Gold you should have no problem finding something you enjoy.

Rules to Necklaces:
1. If you layer keep them at differently lengths.

2. If your outfit is already bejeweled at the top or is a one shoulder piece, a necklace is usually no longer needed and takes away from the outfit.
3. If you wear a Statement Necklace don't do the big earrings, it's just way to much unless you happen to be going to the Oscars or a Royal Event.
4. Adding just the right amount of accessories to your Spring Wardrobe brings attention and can make or break a well put together outfit.

Hair This Season: It seems the favorite styles is a side swept or bun. Along with jeweled headbands and Pin-up style Handkerchief's in which now are pre-made and even stretchy to make them one-size fit's most.

One Accessory that is a little odd but in it's own way cute and unique is the Ear Cuffs. An these are not your early 90's little ear cuff. These are dramatic, almost add to your hairstyle ear cuffs! Look for them at your local Claire's Boutique or +Hot Topic

The Hot Shoe:
Cut Out Booties with cut-outs for Spring. They seem to be everywhere this season. The Fall booties have turned into a Spring Must Have that will walk you right thru summer.

Nails:
Bright nail colors are all the rage this season. Here's a Great Tip to brighten any color....
White Polish! Apply white nail color first, not only does it apply a great even base to start, but will brighten any color you apply over it. Give it a Try!

BEAN STYLED 2013 SPRING REPORT

To start off we will begin with the color that some how has made it's appearance front and center. GREEN Emerald green color, dark yet bright. Mixed in with the pastel's and brights of the season. Classic Black and White Trend is coming in strong and will be the follow thru color's for Fall 2013. White has been making a great statement color the past couple years and this year is no different. Women not being afraid of white and learning how to wear it, it is a classy trend that is reappearing.

There are four main pattern's in particular that will be hot this fashion season. Polka Dots, Floral Plaid, and Lines. So pick a cute polka dot patter in Black and White and you'll have a cute piece for Spring and your follow thru piece that you can pair with Fall Fashion. Now that's thinking and being a smart Fashionista. Training from Bean Styled your pocket book will be thanking you.
Floral pants, Shorts, and even denim floral Tops are everywhere. You can take the look vintage, country, or urban! Just find the right colors, and pattern for you. If the floral is a major step for you keep the colors toned down or earthy, if you enjoy standing out in a crowd and can coordinate the rest of the outfit then take on the pattern and color! Finally a pattern that is going to come into play this summer is Plaid, and yet again this pattern will go thru to Fall. So if you can find a diverse piece for summer that can be switched up in the fall you will be ready and on trend without even trying. Watch out for +Burberry London this fall for some great classic staples. Finally, LINES! Everywhere lines, zig zag or straight up and down there are line patterns on blouses, to pants. Makes for a trendier piece and can easily be matched with solid color bottom or top.

Pleats

This spring season comes with a WARNING!! Pleating is back! Be careful, Keep pleating small on longer fashion items and bigger on shorter items like a skirt. If your doing a blouse really small pleating is best. Depending on body type, and wrong fit it is easy to make yourself seem Larger than you Appear!

Fabrics are sheer, lace, with added studs, spikes,bling and classic's like pearls. Finally after many season's the sequins have been shut out for the Spring and Summer 2013. It's more classy and delicate, with chunky accessories. Welcome Back to classy lady style of Audrey Hepburn.
We also have that hippie/bohemian vibe every season and for that, fringe is back on shirts to swimwear. An crazy lines in patterns and jewelry make it easy to accessories. The Jumper's/Rompers whatever you may call them have become very dressy. We're loving this Romper and Fringe Skirt from +Forever 21

Swim Wear: For the past few years we have been aching over the pin-up girl style swim suits but from bad experience paying $100.00 for a swim suit having it only to get a hole in, you kinda refuse to pay those prices again. So with main stream retailers like +Forever21 are seemingly paying attention to what everyday fashionista's are looking for. Bean Styled just got in the High Waist-ed Lemon Bikini Bottoms (shown in our prior post and found on our Instagram) and fell in love. Now only if we can get more styles :D

Clutch's have never been more in than Right now. Since spring and summer you don't want to lug around a heavy bag in the heat, not to mention it's not good on the shoulder's and back. Lighten the load, take out what you really don't need and find a cute clutch.
With the bigger versions that fold over or up for more store. I have literally used it to throw stuff in for the gym, spray tanning, or using it like the clutch to go out for a dinner date.

A piece in which has grown from last spring is the Crop top.
Now here is the secret..find your natural waist. Not your hips, not your stomach, but when you bend side to side that natural crease at the bottom of your ribs on the side of the body. Every woman's body length is different so get a crop top that is long enough for your torso. If your thinking yeah right I don't have that six pack abs. You don't need that slender stomach to pull it off. If your a curvier woman Just wear high waist bottoms that leave an inch or two gap.

Face Time: Lightly Pink Cheeks, Nude Eyes with a hint of highlight, and Sheer pink/nude lips. A doll face classic. I always love going with the natural look in Spring and Summer. It's such a refreshing time, and come summer you don't want to be wearing a lot of products anyway. It's been a hot minute since we done a solid Review on some Products, so here it goes!

Vaseline's New Line

First up.... Vaseline!

That's right the lotion our mothers used to rub on us as babies. Although the days of tacky, sticky, greasy lotions are no more. New and Improved formulas by Vaseline makes you want to pick up that nostalgic blue labeled lotion. First up the Vaseline Total Moisture with the pure oat extract (yellow bottle). The Clean Feel lotion soaks right into skin so nothing but soft feeling beautiful skin. The pure oat extract is the main ingredient in the Total Moisture which gives skin the much needed hydration. Also the Straty's technology these lotions provide means they soak deep down into the multi-layer's of our top skin.

Then the Vaseline Total Moisture Conditioning lotion. This has become a Bean Styled Favorite product. If you do not like those smelly, perfumed lotions that are tough on sensitive skin. Here is your new BFF, it's simply Amazing. Not only does it soak into skin quickly without the greasy feeling but it adds so many natural products that the skin needs. Who would NOT want to try this! Biotin! Always recommended that changing your medication, or adding vitamins an minerals; Please consult your physician. Naturally a lot of women have thinning hair, and in my case unfortunate it is genetic. My Great Grandmother with a bald spot, my grandmother with hair that barely covered, and my mother with the widows peak. An they say you get it from your father....well I'm not lucky on that end either. Let's just say I don't stand a chance. But there are things natural and chemical to try before heading up the painful surgery. A personal trial, I took Biotin regular for a week now and I don't know if I can particularly tell anything with my hair... yet! Amazingly thou the nails are stronger than ever. I have been using hundreds of nail polish nail thickeners and nothing has ever worked like this. If your nails are brittle and chip try a supplement of biotin. GAGA over the Scent's of the Season's

The biggest Hit of the Season in the Perfume Industry is no doubt the Lady GaGa Fame, very first Black liquid Perfume.
Let's Begin with the Smell, it is dark, yet sweet, subtle and sensuous."There is a sense of Wild Mystery that sprays from the bottle"! The Bottle presentation adds the allure to this perfume. The bottle itself deserves an award. The Gold and Black (on purpose or not) goes right along with the Fashion this season. The Egg shaped bottle reminds us of GaGa's Top moment and the Claw reaches out to all the Little Monsters. This perfume is anything but Simple! Overall Bean Styled rates it A++

The first ingredient listed is Belladonna or scientific name Atropa belladonna. Belladonna in Italian means Beautiful Lady. Bean Styled has also come to find out that this is one of the most poisonous plant in the eastern hemisphere. Don't believe this has been advertised to much, but the history of the plant goes all the way back to Greek mythology. The Next Ingredient was Tiger Orchid a flower that mostly blooms in winter months, which makes it a unique flower to use. The Apricot is that sweet smell that sneaks out of the perfume. Then there is Saffron an actual flower by the name Saffron Crocus which is known to have over 100 aroma yielding compounds and also used as a spice. Finally honey drops which could only add to that subtle sweetness. Then there is Black Incenses, which for what Bean Styled can find is a mixture of other incense to create the smell "Black Veil Incense". A dark mysterious slightly musk aroma.
Between the absolutely original smell, to unique ingredients, the creation of the bottle, advertising, and the Presentation of the box. The overall appeal and smell is completely Out of this World. What also sets this apart is the way Haus Laboratories constructed the perfume. Instead of the tradition pyramid layering that makes most perfume. Haus. created a new push an pull technology, which allows all those notes to come out one at a time. This was the one and only perfume Bean Styled had on our Christmas list to get our hands on and we're more than Impressed. Now anyone, and we mean anyone, could afford a piece of FAME! Congratulations and Way to Go Lady GAGA!

Second Bottle of Perfume we were dying to try was the new Playboy VIP for her. The Smell is very catching. An like GaGa's new perfume, it has a scent of it's own! Hard to find with so many perfume's out on the market today. When testing Bean Styled wore this out on the Town and the Result: MEN LOVED IT! So much that they even asked what it was. Now that for a perfume is impressive! Wanting to catch that man this season, Bean Styled suggest giving yourself a little spray before hitting the town. For the first scent from Playboy, Bean Styled was expecting a little more. The Box presentation was wonderful, but with the diamond in the eye on the box, it was a Little disappointed to find a plastic top bottle with no alluring appeal besides the beautiful golden color of the perfume and bottle. The black top and Gold Tie does fit in with the style and fashion of the season, it gives off a vintage appeal but was expecting a little more since today the bottle is part the allure of the perfume.

Bean Styled believes in sharing where the fashion is found, and all Pro Tips so every woman has the know how and knowledge to look and feel their best. So starting out for our First Bean Styled Pro Tip, we want to make sure every one is being sanitized and clean.

It is very important to state that you must keep your makeup brushes clean for the life of the brush, but also for the safety and health of your skin. No sense in complaining about pimples and break outs if you are helping produce that bacteria. Here is Bean Styled first at home Pro tip to help keep those brushes clean through out the week.

At Home with your personal make up brushes, Pick a day of the week. We like Every Sunday to clean our personal brushes with warm water and antibacterial soap until they run clean. Air Dry completely before storing in their own clean pouch or container.

Now Go to your local store and purchase a spray bottle and some rubbing alcohol. Fill the Bottle and when you are done with your brushes every time after you apply your make-up spray the brushes you use and wipe on a clean dry towel. You will see most of the makeup will come off your brushes and help keep them cleaner throughout the week. No need to soak the brush; just a couple sprays, and a few swipes on a clean dry towel will help tremendously. If your having a problem with break outs see if this helps cure some of them.

The Best Way to Remove Eye Make-Up-

Use Gauze make your Own

Gauze pads are an esthetician's best friend! Cut the square into fourths. One Gauze pad can make 4 little squares to be folded in half. Fold each one in half and you have made two under eye patches, and two cleaning ones. One Folded, and soaked in cool water (to keep in place), place under lower eye lashes, and close eye.
Use other square with your makeup remover and gently wipe downward with lashes direction of growth, and then brow bone up gently outwards till your eye makeup is completely removed following your brow growth pattern. Then remove the folded pads from under your lashes, and you should have sparkly clean eyes with no raccoon eyes underneath. Just like they do at the Spa when you are getting a professional facial, can be done every night at home!

Fall 2012 is a Season To be excited for in fashion. Combing Dark fabrics such as black, red, green, with light colors in soft and Sheer fabrics creates a great mix of Rocker to Classy Lady all in one outfit.

A Few Colors this season your going to see dominate will be Gold, and Black. While Black is is back with vengeance, since the Past few seasons have been more full of crazy patterns and bright colors. This Fall it is solid color with details. Gold is out in Fashion and more than just our jewelry or accessories. While metallic clothing from shirts, skirts, and pants are going to be the big trend this season.

Now that the heat waves are starting to calm down, and it is about Back to School Time. Let's get caught up on some Great Products to Start off the Fall Season.

Here we go! Summer is coming to the half way point, we all probably have some sort of Tan lines going on, and enjoying the Summer Festivities.
So Here's a few beauty ideas to finish out this Heat wave of a Summer and a Look into the more cool weather and Fashion coming this Fall!

To Start I have found another love in Victoria Secrets beauty line the VS All-Over Shimmer powder in Candy Girl; The under lying pink tones are great for highlighting. Especially since most of us already have a light tan to a full blown I live on the Beach look this adds the right amount of highlighting and sparkle to your tan while adding a subtle bronze that is not to be afraid of!

Hair's Best Combo Yet!

Garnier has some New hair products out that were to irresistible to not try right away!

Garnier Fructis Fall Fight! Conditions and Reinforces Hair and Scalp with Caffeine, Biotin and Fruit Vitamins. The purpose to save strands!

As intriguing as it seems, hair loss for some of us can be a serious problem. Especially for a Woman who has the dna line to have hair lose, and is afraid of it. So take a look Try it out because for a little over $5.oo I think it is worth a try. Take A Look!

Let's start with the most important Ingredient they chose to use. Biotin. Which is part of the Vitamin B family. It helps the body in many ways, in beauty it is great for our hair and nails. You can take Biotin over the counter like any other regular vitamin but please always check with your health care professional first. Biotin deficiencies are rare but it does cause hair loss. From what I can find online it also helps with that friendly bacteria in our intestinal tract. Which brings up yogurt and the new craze in pro-biotic's. Eating just a half cup a day is a great health and diet choice if you are looking for healthier hair, nails and skin as well. Scientifically it doesn't seem to make hair grow any faster, but if you hair is stronger in turn it may help some get to new lengths! =)

Hot Topic's Warpaint Beauty- Roll-on Shimmer Eyeshadow tested the Green color Lucky. Surprise, not only was the roll ball easy to use and worked great, the color lasted All Day! This is a really a light/medium green with a great shimmer that would look great on many skin tones, including Pale like myself which is hard to get certain colors to really pop!

One item that Bean Styled has not reviewed Razor's! Gillette Venus and Olay Razor Blades are Amazing. If your one with dry, sensitive skin these blades are a blessing! They not only moisturize, but do a great job at shaving and avoiding those nicks and cuts.

Directions: I made sure to shake the Can really well, try to keep it upright as much as possible. Spray the outside and inside of legs and use hands to make even. Spray the Sides of each of your torso and a few quick sprays horizontally across your stomach, again use your hands to even out and rub on your back. Spray on Arms, shoulders, and neck. Wash hands afterwards.
