Summer 2014 is in Full Swing, things at Bean Styled have been so busy we are finally catching up on our Trial and Review of the latest products we find worth your money and our time to tell you about!
Let's Begin with the skin care and make-up products. Nugg Face Mask Hydrating is not only natural, and uses oil dispersion; learn more here http://www.nuggbeauty.com/pages/technology 94% natural, this product is great for normal, dry skin, and those with sensitive skin. Absolutely loved this product, and for the price can't wait to stock up on more. Perfect all year, and great for that summer budget you would rather spend at the beach. This product contains, camellia seed oil, aloe, and many other natural ingredients, great to replenish after being out in the summer sun. Found this product at Target. Next up is E.L.F. Glitter Primer. For a few dollars this primer works great. With the heat and sweating this will not only make the glitter hold and pop, it will keep it lasting all day... or night. Prep your lids with concealer, then apply primer. While primer is still damp apply your glitter shadow. With natural ingredients like shea butter and JoJoba oil this product will be gentle on the eyelids.

A great facial scrub we just happen to notice on the shelf at target was Alba Botanica a natural product line extension from their original Alba. Good and Clean a Fruit acid detox Toxin release scrub is 100% Vegetarian. This product is packed with natural ingredients and 10 AHA-rich botanical's that provides a unique fruit facial detox. Great if you have oily skin, dead skin, and those sweaty workouts.
Finally, we absolutely indulge in many different Epielle Cotton Mask. From firming to detoxing there is one for every skin type and issue. We tried the Vitamin E and Collagen for fine lines and wrinkles. Skin was instantly brighter, and lines and face looked plumped and hydrated. The second mask we have tried so far is the Green Tea and Aloe. A great way to detox the skin after a busy week, stress, or skin is looking dull. Skin looked brighter and more hydrated. Both left skin feeling refreshed and smooth. Not to mention, you may look funny. But is great for travel, and easy to apply and take off, and if you happen to fall asleep you won't have to worry about a mess on your pillow case.

Let's stick with the eyes and talk about Revlon's Diamond Lust eye shadow. We found Night Sky. a Black with silver, that gives off a rainbow of color glitter. Now only is the shadow apply evenly the glitter actually is thru out the entire eyeshadow. We used it with elf glitter primer not only did it last all night, the glitter was still present. Use all over lids for a dramatic look, just the middle to add highlight, or the outer corner for a rockin smokey eye effect.
A product we have been dying to try was Ardell Dark Lash adhesive. What is great about having the dark adhesive is that if your going for that natural look you do not have to worry about applying eyeliner. An 9 times out of 10 we are applying black or a dark eyeliner when we do apply are false lashes. So it is easy to even out the "liner line". A must have for any gal who loves her false lashes!
Cover Girl has a sister mascara out there called Flamed up. Now we enjoyed this mascara because it does not clump, and of the thickness it adds to lashes. It gives off a great natural look with some curl. The Cover Girl Flamed out mascara is still the favorite and wins in the thickness, length, and curl of the outer lashes best for that dramatic look.
Only a couple of HAIR products made the beginning summer list. First up is a great original that can't be beat! Psssst Dry Shampoo. Not only great if your running late and don't have time to wash the hair, but this is a great product to add texture. The one thing that stands the product apart from the rest is that is leaves no white residue. For you blondes out there you may not have a problem. But dark tresses some products leave a powder that does not absorb as well or even close to Psssst. Give it a Try today!

The other product that we have fallen in love with and definitely a new must have in the beauty arsenal is Garnier Fructis Hydra Recharge Moisture Whip Leave-In Conditioner. Yes you read that right, Whipped! A mouse like leave in conditioner that does not leave your hair oily, and you get every strand saturated. Great for young kids and their tangles too. A wonderful bonus is natural ingredients goji berry, passion fruit, and kiwi. This product is definitely worth 5 stars and we can't wait to try the 1-minute Replenish treatment.
Let's talk Nails. Just recently Sinful Colors nail polish made the news on Good Morning America beating out Chanel nail color in lasting longer and still looking fab! So with that being said we found the perfect summer color, The perfect Disney's "Frozen" nail color, and Perfect in the fact that the glitter actually glitters! So in love with this color is has become a personal favorite we are going to have to run out and buy another bottle! Green Ocean is great layered on top of other colors or alone. Different size glitter builds the nail polish for a Gel look and shine like no other! Must Have!
Now another polish that we happen to run across at the dollar store and was a complete impulse buy was L.A. Colors Color Craze nail polish in Candy Sprinkles. Now only is this the perfect pastel pink, but it has a rainbow of colors. It reminded us of a cupcake, or as the name said Candy Sprinkles! You have to let the nail polish dry for a few minutes in between coats, but after about 4 layers this polish had a great shine and Gel look. Lasted a week on the Toes. For .99 cents we adore this!

Finally we will end this summer review with some Stylewatch StyleHunters products.

Physicians Formula New Bronze Booster with SPF 20, a Glow boosting Beauty Balm Bronzer not only protects, moisturizes, smooths, brightens, and softens lines. Not to mentions adds contour to the face. The packaging is adorable, comes with it's own brush, and is a build-able formula. Natural ingredients like kapi kaccho seeds, and vitamin C and E helps with care of skin. Last we reviewed the Extraordinaire by L'Oreal in their Color Riche collection. Another product made with micro oils, no wonder it leaves lips smooth, non sticky and left with amazing shine that last all night. The only complaint is that the brush is flexible and the formula is light so a little goes a long way.

Rockin A Comeback!

These warmer days and melting snow only makes us hope for spring to come a little faster. We have hit most major trends in our last article for Spring 2014. But one trend we thought may hold out til Fall has made a major Come Back! BIB'S....!!!

That's right the original cargo favorite comfy pant, in which most of us remember throwing a sweater over top, or a shirt tied around the waist, or for more 80's young adults over a cute crop top. Sorry to say it but the 80's-90's trend of the season will be huge. With cute pattern's,detail's with rhinestones, spikes, studs, and worn out rips and tears, on short, capri, and long bibs. Only to expand this Fall with the trend and styles expanding. Everyone will be wearing bibs again with many styles to chose from to fit your body type. An admittedly we are a little excited about wearing a pair of bibs again! These new styles are more relaxed, much cuter details, and many more blouse and top styles to glam out the bibs. Even wearing a pair of heels, it will work great with the grunge, and hippie/boho trend this spring and summer. Keep your eyes peeled an if your a bib lover. Find a cute pair of shorts for summer and a cute crop top under neath, and be on the look out for new pant styes this fall.

To end out the winter months Here are some great new products tried and reviewed for "Bean Approved" status!

-Nip and Fab No Needle Fix Serum-Instant skin plumper. Absolutely a great brand we have been using lately. Check out our prior article for a review on Nip and Fab Glycolic face wipes. Add this to the routine and you will see brighter more plump hydrated younger looking skin. The Cell Active ingredients firms wrinkles

Indinyl which is made from cassia angustifolia, a native Indian plant. That is used in cosmetics as a moisturizer that hydrates and softens skin. You can use it day and not without any irritation. If you have real sensitive skin I recommend during the day time. Put on before your moisturizer it not only plumps wrinkles it adds a great highlighter to your makeup routine also thanks to the mica in the ingredients. Other natural ingredients such as pyrus cydonia seed extract for more hydration, mangosteen peel extract which is known for it's moisturizing properties for skin specifically those who suffer from eczema (which mangosteen is also a great aid in healthy weight loss check out vemma and other major health concerns). Give this product a couple weeks when used at least once a day and you will see a brighter improvement in skin. It also may seem that the smaller lines around mouth and eyes are diminishing. The best part is the product plumps skin and hydrates instantly so with or without makeup you have a great fresh healthy look.

Pantene Ampoule 5 Pack -This is a Product we are ready to run back and literally wipe the shelf clean! This product feels better than even the deep conditioning treatments you get at the Salon. An yes we love them to and that sounds crazy but this product is A++ Bean Approved. The reason we prefer the curly hair professional series is because it adds in amino polymer which helps fill in cuticles that have been lifted. While the ampoule's help resurface, restoring a healthy shine and protecting strands from damage. After Shampooing apply on strands and leave 5 minutes. Your hair will feel so smooth and silky just like Satin! I recommend using at least once a week.

Yes To Carrots Face Wash- For sensitive skin suffers this is by far the best product on shelves that does not leave skin dry or feeling stretched. Pores look noticeably smaller for the fact this product deep cleans. Certified organic and 95% natural we love the product even more. Thanks to Pumpkin fruit extract, and Aloe this is a super hydrating cleanser that still does it's job without leaving skin to oily or to dry! Practically perfect! A great product for this drying winter season.

EOS-Evolution of Smooth; lip balm in Summer fruit
Lips get dry in winter and this product is amazing, organic, and works! Yes we are a little behind for everyone has been raving about these little pods for some time. But with them not going anywhere we had to grab one to see what the rave is all about. Not only do you get your money's worth as far as how much product you get but you are getting a healthy natural lip balm. Anything that goes on the lips and can be ingested needs to be thought of carefully. Not only did the name remind us that summer is on it's ways but the smell is delightful! With shea butter, jojoba oil, beeswax, coconut oil, olive fruit oil, sunflower seed oil, blueberry fruit extract, strawberry fruit extract, peach fruit extract, plus other natural ingredients this product is certified USDA 95% organic and 100% natural. Made in the U.S.A. and Gluten Free. It actually improves lips while smoothing them. Also no doubt the packaging makes it cute beauty fun.

Victoria's Secret has us swooning over two great products that are in-store but we can't seem to find them online. So that being said, if you see these products they are worth swooping up fast. Plus we would LOVE to thank VS for switching up the ol free panty coupon for a full size body spray for March 2014! So if your VS VIP get your coupon and try Pure Seduction plum and freesia make a great smelling combo! Great for after workout spray when leaving the gym and have a few errands to run. Or of course anytime you step out of the shower with skin softening ingredients like Aloe and chamomile this body spray is great anytime you need refreshed.

First let's talk about VS Rockin Body Perfecting Cream- Don't let the color scare you off. We were a little worried ourselves but it is like a Tinted moisturizer that blends in very well (worked great even on my pale skin). It gives a concealer like coverage that blends in seamlessly. The mica and luminous diamond powder ingredients gives the perfect highlight and shimmer without going over board and looking like you dumped glitter on yourself. Added bonus of vitamin E and shea butter gives your skin added hydration. Really enjoyed this product and could easily become a new favorite. If you are on stage or a Pageant that is going to be showing off those legs and shoulders this product works wonders at smoothing out any imperfections. Problem is we could not find it online so be on the look out at your local store.

Secondly, Make It Last Prime and Set Makeup Spray, a Primer and Setter in one it guarantees 8 hours of no smudge makeup! Under makeup provides a smooth seamless application while over makeup holds it in place so no smudging of mascara, lipstick or wiping off any makeup. Your makeup looks as fresh as when you applied it. By the end of our 6 hour night my makeup still looked flawless. Really felt this product is a miracle product.One of the best primers and it is in a spray form. Just extend your arm and spray. It drys fast, does not feel sticky or ruin the makeup application. Another product we searched for online and again came up short. So be on the look out in your local store.

The Fashion stye and trends appearing for Spring 2014 is all about how you "Rock it" with Confidence and Strength! Chose your pick, Grunge for your inner rock goddess or Boho for your inner Groovy laid back chick style! An all the classy pieces in between. This season is about being polished yet relaxed. An if you are that sporty chick. There will be a lot of fashion for you to work with this season, Like the T-shirt and skirt combo, or a Maxi Dress with a Biker Jacket. Get ready to have a few key pieces and endless combinations.

Let's Start off with Color:
Pastel's always come in during Spring. This year Orchid according to Pantone is the big hit. Bean Styled Predicts there will be more Yellow along with White. White was making a huge come back this fall. An Spring will just bring more of the daring color. Some say it is an accent color. Some are to afraid to wear it for it just get's dirty. White is a Strong Color and for Confidence. Women who wear white can feel just as powerful as those in Red and Black. This years pastels have a calm tint to them. Which brings in a great vintage appeal. An Look out Nude and Au natural for it will be a huge hit in clothing style, makeup and to nails.

Patterns and Details---

Floral Galore! If you are into the flower patterns grab up pieces this spring. With more options from big to small patterns. Even those who are not typically a fan of floral may end up finding something fitting.

Detail this Spring is all about the Rocker chick in you. From Studs to Spikes, and Rhinestones mixed with pearls. You can go from grunge Rock to, Classy, and end with Boho chic thanks to all the crochet and lace mix. Past season have been about lace and sheer fabrics. An thou spring 2014 still has those details knit and crochet is on Top.

Also GOLD detail will be seen on clothes to accessories. A great way to top off the outfit is a Chunky Gold Necklace or Bracelet which will be a favorite of many this summer.

If you love ripped jeans, this season will have many! So many grunge
and punk style lovers will be in heaven this season! Finally, look out for sharp lines. In clothing, accessories like shoes and sunglasses. It's all about funky lines.

-White Dress or Skirt, This WILL be the Hot item of summer. Usually come spring every woman wants a cute little white dress (LWD) This season with the BoHo trend there are already so many relaxed choices for daytime and family events. An with the Rocker vibe going on there are Cute Cocktail dresses that have never looked better in White. Everyone wants to go to black for the easy escape. White is Bright, it makes you stand out, and bring a Classy strong confidence to women when the find out how they can pull it off. If a dress is to much white, try a skirt. Angled Line fold over skirts (Egyptian style) are a huge trend this season and we can't wait to personally pick one up in White! Or Simply find a cute breezy button down.

~For Spring a big item coming back is the Poncho. In so many different fabrics and patterns. Ponchos are cuter than ever. An a great piece to have for the office or home just relaxing. Or maybe a brunch with the girlfriends. Even a delicate detailed Poncho can be work to your Black Tie Event substituting the shawl. A more modern cover up for women of today's fashion trends.
One's with many different patterns are already showing up and we hope to even see ones with some small detail or glitz! The Poncho will most likely carry thru to fall. So if you see one you absolutely have to have, Bean Styled say's go for it. You will wear it all year long and even if it goes out of "Style". They are comfy and warm so you can never go wrong relaxing in your Poncho!

~Crop Top Love! For the past couple season the crop top has been sneaking it's way back in main stream fashion. With different lengths, arm and neck cuts, fabrics, patterns, almost anyone can wear a form of Crop Top. The trick is to find one that fits your body type.

~Shoe Time. It's all about patterns and colorful heels. Again if your looking for a cute floral heel. It will be easy to find. Booties are big for spring and summer. An Boots don't seem to be leaving the heat. Still a lot of Biker Chic Style Boots to love this Season An since we love our booty heels. We may just have to find the perfect cut-out pair. Talk about a way to bring the normally fall/winter shoe up to spring and summer. Breezy and cool, and looking like lace, crochet, or lattice work. The cut out style goes great with all the trends this spring, classic everyday, and great for the boho/hippie chic styles.

Finally let's talk hair. It is all about the BOB! Every celebrity has been

chopping at their locks. So if your into the trend hit up your local boutique while all the stylist are getting their fair share of practice. If your not ready to go that short. There is a new angled longer bob that is very sleek and modern. If you like to style your hair everyday having an angled bob can be a lot of fun. Note, if you want it short and cool for summer and back to growing out for Fall best time to do it is now. It's all about the natural look. Long or short hair loose waves are a favorite. That beach girl hair is in, and thanks to the salt infused sprays available you can recreate that same volume even if you do not live near a beach. This is one product we have not used much of or spent time researching or trying. So we will be trying a hand full the next few months and by summer we will let you know what's Bean Approved. A great way to create loose waves is to simply wrap your hair around the outside of the curling iron. Or separate into two pigtails when damp, and wrap hair around finger to make ringlets and let air dry. If you don't have enough time. Use a hair dryer and make sure you are blowing down not up. Up will break hair cuticles and cause frizz.

Since we are nearing the end of January an for most of us still cold with the weather beating down on our skin. Here are a couple great products to put the hydration back in.

First we are absolutely loving Garnier Skin Renew Intensive Dark Spot Treatment Mask. A 10 minute tissue mask. That left our skin feeling hydrated, refreshed, and soft! With natural Ingredients that are high in Vitamin C to help rid dead skin and dark spots an other moisturizing natural ingredients. This mask has become a once a week in are personal skincare arsenal.

We have been waiting to try this product line. An thanks to Target Nip and Fab is now sold on shelves in the U.S. We picked up first the Nip & Fab Glycolic Fix Treatment Pads. 2.8% Glycolic acid to help re-texture, and resurface skin. Just the right amount of Glycolic acid it is safe for sensitive skin and should be able to use everyday. Natural Witch Hazel to tone, Hyaluronic Acid to help moisturize and protect against wrinkles, and Blue Daisy an anti-inflammatory extract also known to help fight wrinkles is in the product to brighten, smooth, and calm skin.
Absolutely love this product in place of the recent toner being used. Great for winter to help fight dryness but a great product to help fight wrinkles. My skin has felt more hydrated and with no stinging or pulling sensation. Love it so much, we recently picked up the No Needle Serum so look for that in our next Review we having coming next week of 2-4-2014

Finally let's end with hair. It's been all about loose curl's with Volume.

Winter is here, and the holidays are upon us. Here the the latest Bean Approved products. All great for the winter months and to make your skin and makeup look and feel fabulous at your Holiday events. This 2013 Holiday season is all about Dramatic Lined eyes, with Metallic Shine! Plus more to keep skin calm.

Let's Begin with Skyn Iceland-Hydro Cool Firming Eye Gels. A product from Amsterdam, Netherlands and made in Korea. Check out their website at www.skyniceland.com What is great about this product up front is that it is free of paraben's, sulfates, petroleum dye, fragrances, mineral oil, and other harsh products that are not gentle on sensitive skin. Another plus is the natural ingredients they use such as water, olive fruit oil, ginkgo biloba, thyme extract, Cranberry seed and many more. It is also a 100% Vegetarian product. A great solution for stressed, Tired under eye skin. Firm and De-puff in 10 minutes. These patches stayed on Great. No slipping, no peeling. They stayed cool the whole ten minutes, and still cool when we took them off. You can feel the sensation of hydrated skin, and the eyes were greatly diminished of puffiness. A must have especially during the holiday season!

Let's Stay with the eyes and talk about "IT"S SO BIG" Mascara. If you are looking for a great mascara for lower lashes, this is the one! Found it was best for the lower lashes. A great mascara to lengthen and separate lashes. The bristles are small and the brush itself is thin so you can get every lash from inner to outer corner with no problem.

Next up, Starlooks eyeliner pencil in K01 Obsidian- a kohl liner; with a very smooth formula. Use light strokes to line eyes, Great for thin or thick building of lines. Use an angled eyeliner brush to help you create cat eyes or retro looks. Perfect eyeliner to use as a base all over eyelid and create that dramatic Eye!

For the Shadow we reviewed and approve NYX color in Hollywood! A White with silver sparkle. Which is a great base, and highlighting color. Also a great metallic shimmer when brushed over a dark dramatic eye!

For the Lips we love Cailyn Tinted Lip balm in Big Apple! A perfect red for even the fairest of skin in the winter months. It's a build-able color. So apply light coat with the built in brush or a couple coats to darken it up for a night out look! What else is great about this lip tint is that it does not Stain lips, still last hours and comes off when you wash your face. Best of all it's moisturizing so no worrying about drying out lips!

From OFRA Cosmetic laboratories comes a Lip gloss with Plumper in Sultry. A unique mauve/Burgundy color with a hint of pink sparkle. Not yet a red color, it gives off a hint of brightness. Perfect for fair or dark skin tones. An another great pick for this holiday seasons make up looks.

Since we are on the face. Winter wind, cold, and dry weather usually takes a toll on all of us. So here is a product absolutely worth trying! H2O Face Oasis Hydrating treatment an oil free, marine hydration that feels like luxury on your skin.

Finally we have found a new makeup Brush every girl needs! The Round facial Brush. Kinda like having a small kabuki brush. It is great for powder foundations. Bronzing and Highlighting. The Up&Up brush found at target has done the job. Great at contouring and blending. An can be used for liquid or cream foundations. A multi-use brush that we particularly loved using with our powder foundations!

Since we are on skincare. Let's discuss a new lotion introduced to us called Nourish Organic. We tried the coconut and Argan body lotion with hibiscus. USDA Organic, and 100% natural Antioxidants from coconut helps smooth and soften while the oil is an omega fatty acid that hydrates and replenishes skin. Non-greasey and absorbed quickly makes this one of the best lotions ever. The smell wasn't strong which is good if you are looking for a good lotion that is not to perfumed or fragrance infused. Since we started with Hair. Let's keep it going. Creme of Nature Intensive Conditioning Treatment with Argan Oil for exotic shine, nourishment, and protection. That Strengthens, Moisturizes, and prevents breakage. ~Shampoo, Add Condition, Leave on 10-15 minutes then Rinse. To take it up a notch leave in and wrap hair in a towel straight out of the dryer and leave on same amount of time then rinse. Or if you have a hair dryer like at the Salon's put on a cap and sit under for 10-15 minutes and again then rinse. This left our hair soft, shiny, and manageable. If you dye your tresses in the winter, make sure you get conditioning treatments. At home or Salon, they are much needed.

Next up, Winter can really dry skin out. From the Dry weather to harsh winds and cold. It is just as important to wear sunscreen and skin protective clothing before stepping out. So we are saying it's a Go on "YES TO".

Shiseido new 3 Piece IBUKI skincare Kit. The cleanser is gentle. An the concentrate is almost like water yet not a gel, and feels amazing when it hits your skin. The moisturizer is very hydrating and leaves skin feeling soft and looking healthy. It all feels amazing on the skin. An about two weeks use their was a dramatic improvement in skin tone looking more even and flawless. Pores may not be able to shrink completely but black heads were greatly improved.

Next up is the Conair Infinity Pro! Like any new electronic device is takes some getting used to. But once you figure out the forward and reverse button this handy divice will be your new best friend. Adds volume way better than your regular hair dryer and round brush. Great for Layers and Bangs. Still used a straight iron to make the ends of hair piecey. But it leaves hair smooth and less frizz if you share that problem, better than a normal hand held hair dryer. An with fall and cold, dry weather fast approaching Bean Styled will be trying and putting the best hydrating foundations to the test for you and posting the finds. After those long days it is great to relax. Tray an do a mask 2-3 times a week. An some of the best come from Freeman Beauty. Adore the Blue Agave Facial hydrating Mask Hydrates thirsty skin. Is perfect for the season approaching. An this mask felt so luxurious we went and bought a few more. Just relax for 15-20 minutes, take of mask and then gently pat the rest into skin. A Great way to be sure you never have a cap fall off you lipstick again. I applaud Mary Kay for the new packaging. On top of that the lipstick is very moisturizing. No really, never have we tried a lipstick that simply made our lips more smooth. Lasted all day and has great pigment of color. Mystic Plum is a great color for Fall and works great on fair to dark skin complexion's. Also fits the dark romantic trend this fall fashion season. Another great thing about the product and what makes it work so well is the natural ingredients used, like sunflower oil, meadow foam oil, soybean oil. beeswax, mango and Shea butter plus many more. BB cream was all the rage. Now it's all about CC Cream. Color Control! Most women suffer from some sort of redness or discoloration. Also great if you have more maturing skin. More directed to color correction and anti-aging this is a great product to remember for next spring as well when we want to lose the heavy foundations and looking for coverage with light feel. Ole Henriksen Perfect Truth CC cream with Spf 30 is a Science plus nature product. It contains 5 sources of vitamin C and Ferulic Acid. Plus natural soybean seed extract, Sugarcane extract, Orange fruit extract, Lemon fruit extract, Orange flower extract, Rose seed extract, Grapefruit extract, Sugar maple extract just to name a few. We found the product covered well and was great at reducing redness. Felt great on skin and on top of all the great ingredients the product smelled Amazing.

The Face Finale is Illamasqua Hydra Veil Re-hydrating Gel. Part moisturizer part primer. Allows makeup to stay 24 hours if needed and reduces pore size and any dry skin that causes the appearances of lines or wrinkles. Calms and refreshes skin. At home hair color has Stepped up it's game thanks to Revlon Luxurious Color Silk. Personally my hair felt healthier after I used it and it the feeling lasted more than 24 hours. Not just for a couple days, it has now been a week. Still smooth, and healthy looking and feel. The color has lasted and Happy with the results! Great for in between salon colors and touch-ups. The pigments are not for drastic change yet for natural color and look. A+ for Revlon, for we finally found an at home color safe for the stylista on a budget. It is not the most expensive on the department store shelf, but it is the Best. So don't let the price tag fool you. Some of those more expensive at home hair colors have been tried by Bean Styled and yet to be approved.

Finally for hair we tried Bumble and Bumble Gentle Shampoo-a "mild luxurious Cleanser for Softness and shine" Great for chemical lovers and over processed hair. Lathers Great, Smells Amazing! Paired it with Super Rich Conditioner- "luxurious balm for parched, processed, over exuberant hair. leave in 1 minute then rinse. The conditioner was rich and simply smelled amazing, yet again! Left hair smooth, soft, an frizz free. Fell in love with Bumble and Bumble we are excited to try more products.

Well most of you are back to school, and the rest of us are re-energized and excited for the fall months ahead. Great Fashion, cool nights, and hot coco. It is the second wind most of us get to have to get us thru the rest of the year and holiday months. Football, Bonfires, and quality time. So while we are spending time with friends and family here is how to be the stylish of the group. Bean Styled's Annual Trend Report on what's Hot for Fashion this Fall. Bean Styled will have you looking your best with pieces you can keep in your closet longer than this season. Ready... Here we Go!

Bean Styled likes to start with the Colors and Patterns of the season. Every fashion season change comes with a few distinct colors we see in fabric, accessories, and details. This season it is that bright dark cobalt blue, think Cleopatra's eyes. Plus Gold is back with vengeance. Not just gold but Rose Gold is really making it's place. The yellow and rose gold goes great with all the brown this season. Gold is in jewelry and in fabrics. Excited that we are actually starting to mix Black and Brown. Who ever made that rule along with no white after labor day can be forever gone in the fashion world. There is a dark romance feel to fall fashion with dark floral patterns this season and that helps add in some sexiness.

The Best part of this years Fall Fashion is the Worldly influence. From geometric patterns, animal prints, and the shades of brown make you think explorer or old west. A look like you are ready to explore your favorite destination. Nude on Black is going to be the major GLAM trend this fall.

An white is still in and going strong. I don't think white has made it more into fashion than now. It is also a great base color other than the safety of black most women safely go to. Women in Fashion with Style need not be scared of this heavenly color and Bean Styled would even like to see A Little White Dress Trend come in for Spring! I think we will be seeing many come Spring 2014. Right now a white Blazer over Black or Color is a Hot Hot Trend!

Now Let's Talk Latest Fashion Trends: First up is notably the Denim Trend! Are the 80's Back, we seen denim and high tops and are getting a little scared after the neon trend lately. No worries, tight rolling pants and Swept high bangs have not been seen, so we are still safe. ;) But denim comes in many assortments of colors and fabrics. The cute studded and blinged out button up denim Tops are all the rage and can be paired with your favorite Jeans to a cute skater skirt, or floor length skirt. Since we are already on the topic of denim. Jeans this season is all about the grunge/punk look. Ripped denim is all the rage, but if your a little uneasy wearing jeans that looked like you had for years, throw a cute pair of lace stockings or printed leggings underneath and you totally take it up a notch and Rock out your denim.

Major detailing you will see this season is studs and spikes. They have been around for many season's now but the grunge look is coming into play again so they are a huge hit!

Gray jeans are making an appearance this season but be careful gray can ruin any outfit. Stick with neutral colors, like black and white, brown, tans etc. If your going to add a color, pick only one and do a shirt or jacket. An whatever you do, Please stick with black, white or gray shoes. Anything else seems to take away from the outfit and just looks funny. Unless it is your only pop of color. If you have any; "How To Wear Gray Pants tips", Bean Styled would love to hear them. Just comment below. Another big tend you will notice is that Plaid is Back. A great plaid woman's flannel can be dressed up or laid back. Pair it with a pair of dress pants for Work and throw on your Denim jeans for a night out with the girlfriends.

This Summer crop tops were the latest fashion statement. Don't stash them away just yet. Before it get's too cold. Fall is the perfect time to layer a boyfriend sweater, denim jacket, or Blazer over your crop tops. A great way to enjoy your classes or work day. Then when your day is done take your layer off and your ready for dinner, or a night out!

Denim Jacket's are always a fall must, but this season the Biker Jacket is in strong!. From colored leathers and pleather's to flap-over folds, button up to zippers. The plain Jane biker jacket is out. An if you are a biker chick don't wait for Harley Davidson to put out their new fashion lines. Check out the real leathers in department stores like Dillard's and Macy's. A great biker jacket can be dressed down for a festival, or dressed up for a Glam evening out. It is a versatile piece in your wardrobe and just about everyone can pull a biker jacket off. Just remember to bring your confidence with you. The iconic Varsity jackets are a huge trend this season. Normally you think of being in high school and your boyfriend playing varsity to wear one. But this trend isn't for school age kids anymore. Even the most Fashionable ladies are being seen with the old-school varsity jacket.

Let's talk sweaters. No need to look crocheted and boring. This season there are many off the shoulder and sexy styles to choose from. Also your going to find many with Owls, Tigers, animals of all sorts. Find your favorite and rock it. This season is defiantly dedicated to nature and animals. So that being said, let's stay away from real furs. Also there are great geometric print, lines and animal print sweaters out for fall too.

The most exciting item to Bean Styled this season is the Skirt. The famous Skater Skirt is back in. It has taken the full 1950's inspired skirt, shortened it a tad and comes in many colors and prints. Easy to dress up for work or school or for a night out on the town. It is great for dinner party's and such as well, it all depends what top you pair with it. A tight top with chunky accessories is great for a night out, a tucked in blouse with ankle strap heels makes a perfect dinner date ready outfit.

Let's talk Shoes! Almost every woman's favorite topic. Lately it has been all about height and blinged out pumps and heels. So proud to announce that this fall is about classic sexy kitten heel. In the vintage T-strap design and ankle strap. Don't feel that you have to have the highest heel on to be sexy. Sometimes all women need is an extra inch and some detail. The best part about the heels is that the straps give the sexy detail without effort. No wonder why when you stare at 1920's, 1930's pictures of flappers, and red carpet celebrities their shoes still stand out from their outfit. How could we forget how sexy a strap can be.

Boots are a major must this season. Flat, Heeled, Buckled, Strapped, from Thigh high to Ankle Boots. Gray's to Brown cowboy boots with color. If your a boot lover this is the season to stock up. There is so many different designs and fashions out in the boot department, even someone who shy's away from the trend should be able to fall in love with a good pair.. I mean come on, out four-wheeling with the boys, hunting with your pops, or taking a cruise on the bike; every woman deserves a stylish good pair of kickers!

One of my favorite parts about changing fashion season's are the accessory trends that come and go with them. Most come back to play at some point. An the comeback this season is bug jewelry. Back in the 1940-50's jewelry had a huge nature influence. Flowers and Bugs were big as broaches and rings. This season we are lucky to have that trend back. Bug necklaces, bracelets, and yes broaches are back! So we will be busting out some of our vintage pieces to share on our BeanStyledDotCom Instagram. Also show you where to wear them. For example on your clothing, shoulders, arm cuffs are some unique yet noticeable places to doll up and add your own sense of style. Not to mention it is a great way to wear the dark floral. Find a great floral scarf this season and pin it around with a cute animal inspired pin. An it is just not bugs, tigers, and other animals are making their appearance in necklaces and some great chunky arm candy bracelets as well.

Next up are Ear Cuff's. No not those simple little cuffs you wrap around the top of your ear. No these are fancy, rhinestones, metal, and colored glass stones, that wrap around the whole ear. Check out GoJane.com for some amazing Ear Sparkle. Perfect for an event or night out on the town. Only one ear should be cuffed not both. Find one that works with your outfit, wear your hair up, or half up-do other wise wearing the ear cuff is obsolete. It will just tangle the hair and no one would see it. When done right you don't even have to wear a necklace. Let the ear cuff draw attention to the neck and shoulders, which is instant sexiness on any woman.

Scarf fashion this season is matching the rest of the trend. Retro geometric shapes and lines, along with animal and floral print. Bean Styled suggest finding a cute scarf in a dark floral print, or animal print for this fall season.

Finally Let's Discuss Beauty!
Make-up this season follows the trend. It is taking on a naturally nude look from this summers favorites but with browns and golds. With black and Browns being used as an outline and edged winged effect.

The main color of the eye is staying nude/Pink, and gold's. Easy Romantic Smokey Eye. This season will definitely be all about the eyeliner.

Use Eyeliner on blue line then smudge

So be on watch for all the cosmetic companies to be flooding the market with new eyeliners. Not so much about the color of the eyeliner, but the smooth and smudging smokey effects hopefully that stick and don't just slide away. An Yes Red Lips are favored, so get to your local makeup department and have your artist or esthetician help you find your perfect shade of red for your skin tone. If your still not big on red lips, Nude glossy lips are in as well.

Finally, Let's talk Hair! It seems the edgy pixie hair style was in an out as quick as the summer months. But don't worry if you made the cut and now ready for length again. Bean Styled has got you covered. First off, Short hair is still a major do this Fall. It seems medium length bobs are all the rage. Even Ms. Betsey Johnson took her long hair and braids to shoulder length level. Also the angled bob is still in but the angle is more subtle and not so extreme. Easier to grow out, and very chic! Happy to say Brown hair is Back. Brown and Black hair with Bronze highlights are great for Fall. When hair tends to loose it's natural highlights due to less sun. Bronze highlights are not as harsh on your tresses and the right tone of highlights for the fall and winter seasons. Also vintage curls, and Bangs are a Hit this season.

New Orleans...Fashionable, Fun, Unforgettable!

Bean Styled started the 2013 summer out in the wonderful city of New Orleans, Louisiana. It is the perfect place for vintage stores and amazing boutiques. No city has so much history and influential glamor about the 1920's and 30's Fashion Industry than any other city. NOLA was the place to be then and it definitely deserve a spot on your bucket list today. Not even Chicago or New York could compare to the swinging good times and fashion New Orleans had at their fingertips during that era.
If your into vintage New Orleans is a must stop. Besides all the estate and vintage jewels, a Chanel No. 5 vintage bottle still filled with perfume sits in a Royal Street Window just makes us smile and daydream while window shopping downtown. I think of how laid back this southern city is and how people just seem to enjoy life at ease. You don't need much to be happy here, and don't be in a hurry here. Not even your waitress will be rushing;) It really is the Big E-Z. You'll find a friend on the street corner waiting for you to come join in on their entertainment. An almost every place we visited or people we talked to downtown New Orleans were very kind. It seemed magical, a mystery to be explored and the only way to feels it's magic is to head on down to the big easy.

Let's start off the beatin path and direct yourself down to Magazine Street if you are looking for great Boutique shopping, vintage shops, Ice Cream, Candy stores, and great restaurants! You will find costume stores and some amazing shoe stores.

Hungry? The Rum House on Magazine is O So yummy and the price on food is just as appealing. The real cost comes on their selection of fine rum and other fun drinks. A great stop for lunch or dinner during your stroll on Magazine. Which is around 6 miles long and filled with much fun. This is also a kid friendly place if you visit during 9-7 normal family dinner hours. Magazine street becomes a fun more calm party itself every night with local bars and of course great music. An the boutiques and shops close around 5 and 6pm so Magazine Street is a good daytime activity.

American Apparel has been around for awhile but Bean Styled finally stepped in one down in New Orleans and fell in love. They have simple and basic pieces, which pick a top and bottom then make a month's worth of outfits with what you already have in your closet. The Best Part. MADE IN AMERICA AmericanApparel Website

Our next favorite store was Bella and Harlow! The store was roomy, chic, and modern vintage apparel. Now I regret not buying that dress I wanted but I did score that cute bow handkerchief look headband that I was searching for. Find them on FaceBook as well.

Finally, don't forget to visit the Zoo which sits at the very end of Magazine street. Also you will find our favorite grocery store Whole Foods on Magazine street right down from the Pita Pit. Just another great healthier fast food pick enjoyed by Bean Styled.

Of course you can't go to New Orleans without talking about downtown and Bourbon Street. Which of course is fun, but there is so many great shopping spots downtown. If you love jewelry, nature, and all things that sparkle. You have to stop into Earth Odyssey! Like the rock store every town wishes they had. Geodes, crystals, jewelry everyone will find a piece of nature to fall in love with here. Absolutely gorgeous as soon as you step in the door. Next is the Gem and Lapidary Shop. Bones, geodes, crystals, jewelry. Another Fun Shop full of mother nature.

Next you must stop into Lima Sterling on Royal Street. Absolutely unique and beautiful sterling jewelry! Most things are hand made and the man behind the counter could not be friendlier. Royal street also has vintage stores with estate pieces. An Great Art gallery's some with the most Amazing chandelier's you could stare at all day.

Another fun store we found was Simply Fashion. They had the latest fashion at the fashionista price. Great place to buy the latest Summer Trends. Finally, Earthbound Trading Company was a store I personally just discovered. Instantly fell in love and when the day comes to decorate my future home or client's events. What was Bean Styled's first purchase.... well Peacock feathers to decorate a Vanity, what else ;) Oh and some sage, you never know when you will need to do a good cleansing! BeanStyled Fall Pile-UP Product Review

Fall is right around the corner. School is back in Session for most, Football will begin in weeks, and cool nights with your hoodie and hot coco area fast approaching. Bean Styled has been crazy busy trying products to get your skin prepped for Fall.

If you have done a lot of swimming this summer your hair is probably dried out. Then you MUST TRY Palmer's Extra Virgin Olive Oil-Certified Organic Deep Conditioner with Vitamin E. This pouch is actually good for 2-3 applications. Used on long hair a little longer than the middle of the back; we got two good product applications. The thick formula is easy to distribute thru hair. In the shower leave on for 5 minutes then rinse. Or Apply to clean wet ringed out hair and wrap in a towel straight from your dryer, relax for 5-10 minutes then rinse. This let's the product really get into the cuticles of the hair. Just after one use I FELT the difference and that is what makes this product worth having. Of course olive oil is a great hair mask alone, but since that can get a little expensive. This is a great alternative.

For the Eyes~Maybelline NY Color Tattoo. These eye-shadows are meant to be colorful and bold but before we got daring we tried the 55 Barely Brazen. The highly pigment shade sticks to lids falling under the eye. That alone makes this worth trying. It is build-able. So when we used it only as the main shade and highlighting color it gave a great nude color that lasted all day. With added color and building it becomes a bold golden brown depending on how much you build. This color would be a great base for all the other colors in the Tattoo Line as well.

Next is Freeman Vita-K Dark Circles Professional. After having a child, and any mommy can relate. The dark circles have really come to say HI. With time comes more sleep but in the mean time this product really has made a difference I can see. Anti-aging Peptides & Pro Vita K Complex; an amino acid complex, which helps with skin tone and elasticity. Added mica helps diffuse light and brighten the under eye immediately. Also, This product has an ingredient called matrixyl 3000 which helps stimulate cell renewal. Use for about 2 weeks day and night and see how your Peepers look. This product is sensitive enough to use twice a day but if any irritation occurs just use daily. It's a great daytime eye cream to wear under makeup.

The Best saved for Last is...... Boot's Expert Sensitive Line! Bean Styled picked up a 3 piece Kit. That included Boot's Expert Sensitive Cleansing and toning wipes, Sensitive hydrating eye cream, and hydrating moisturizer. For the fashionista price of $12.00 (which on their website it is CHEAPER) one would think they were using a high end skincare line. Not only does it feel luxurious but I have been waking up with brighter more hydrated skin than ever and I'd like to say Boot's Expert is to thank.
-First use Boot's Expert Sensitive Cleansing and Toning wipes. Hypoallergenic, with aloe Vera and mineral water. I have not used a wipe that not only was soft and gentle but completely took off the darkest eye makeup, daily foundation, BB creams and powders! Left my skin feeling clean and toned.
-Next use Boots Expert Sensitive Hydrating eye cream which soaks right in and instantly hydrates the eye area. With all the ingredients as the other two products but with added sunflower seed oil!
-Finish up with Boots Expert Sensitive Hydrating Moisturizer. It is a thick moisturizer that when applied soaks right into skin. This product is wonderful for a nightly moisturizer.

Great for Late Nights and leave no excuse for not taking off the days makeup. Also great for those late mornings from studying all night ;) but Bean Styled found it best to use this line for your night time skincare routine.Another bonus is that these products are fragrance and lanolin free. Which many people with sensitive skin have reactions to.

Not usually a fan of the lip crayons Bean Styled fell in love with Pop Beauty's Pouty pop crayon in Coral Crush. It applied smoothly, no drying, and the color looks bright and intimidating but it is really light and build-able. The color was actually flattering. Check out Pop Beauty! Buy them from Ipsy to avoid international shipping.

Summer Heat full on I was glad to see a Mineral Sunscreen by Coola, Organic sun care with spf20. Unscented and also a moisturizer with Safflower oil, Orange fruit water, Cucumber fruit extract, Acai Fruit oil, Sunflower Seed extract, and Linseed oil this natural and safe for sensitive sunscreen not only did it's job at the Pool. It did not feel like it was burning my sensitive skin like many other sunscreens do as soon as I put them on. This products is Bean Styled Approved A++ and will be in our Beach Bag Arsenal Every Summer!

Next up the Bh Cosmetics offered the California Collection Sampler Hollywood a Dark Mysterious Purple (great for Fall 2013)-San Fransisco Brown with a slight gold shimmer- Malibu A Bold Gold
Great to use to together to create an Artistic creative look, or use all 3 alone to create your look. The shadow sticks to the brushes, the colors are light so building is a must. But with darker colors this is great so you don't go overboard.

Finally for Face DermaE Microdermabrasion Scrub An award winning scrub, which has been a product I have always wanted to try! Natural 100% Vegan. Lightly scrub for 3 minutes 2 times a week. I have absolutely seen my skin become brighter. Great to help with fine lines, wrinkles, and acne scars. LOVE this Product so much it will be a personal regular purchase.

Last Item: Big Sexy Hair Weather Proof light hold Hair Spray with Humidity Resistance to help combat Frizz. Having received this product in New Orleans and the humidity being outrageous BSH Weather Proof Hair Spray out did any other hair spray out there. The bonus is that the hold is strong yet no sticky or stiff feeling. Hair can still move naturally. The spray nozzle also helps diffuse spray instead of direct shots you get all over coverage.

Since I am so into the Retro Trend I want to first talk about something I have been searching for; for over a year now! Those Pin-up leggings which I now know are called "Backseam" Nylons. Thanks to Instagram user Kamalimoon I know now the name and she directed me to the British made in England brand Pretty Polly! Which I have found are carried by Dillard's Department Store's here in the U.S. So since 4th of July is Today. Let's be thankful for our Freedoms and that includes being able to freely wear our style however we choose! It just so happens ironically Pretty Polly is English made ;-) I am so in love I can't wait to buy my next pair. They have so many designs to chose from and also control fitting ones as well. My next pair will be getting my hands on a the sheer nylons that add just a simple color and glow to legs. Like a perfect airbrush look for legs! After putting on your backseam nylons just make sure you have them straight up and down the leg. They shift a little but if they start straight you can keep them in line thru out the night. It still beats drawing the line on with eyeliner and or marker like our fellow Flapper and Pin-up Era ladies.

Keeping with the Retro style I have found the perfect liquid eyeliner pen that does not streak and literally dries 2 seconds after you draw the line. Victoria's Secret VS Graphic Eyeliner Pen simply ROCKS! The thin tip makes outlining easy as pie and laying down the thicker end makes filling in just as easy. Start with thin strokes to make your line and use thin strokes to fill it as well until you get practice. Once you start using the pen you get the hang of it. Plus if you are trying to recreate the cat eye and that retro wing this pen is The Best. Thin or Thick, Artistic of Simple VS Graphic Eyeliner Pen can create it all! BEAN LOVIN IT!

Over Black

Next up I was making my normal stroll thru Forever21 to look at the new styles and I happen to notice a glitter nail polish I honestly never tried before! Foil glitter?!?! Not glitter big or small but foil in a clear top coat made by Love and Beauty. Easier to remove than traditional glitter, apply over dark or light colors or simply wear alone. It has endless possibilities. Plus this glitter actually gives off a great sparkle in the sunshine.

If you are getting sick of that red, irritated feeling after a wax let me fill you in on what to try! Nair has out a Brazilian Spa Clay Total Care Face Trio, plus other products in the same line for the bikini area and etc. Nair has always been an enemy for me. I have extremely sensitive skin and original Nair for most and for me Burned like Crazy! But I am here to tell you that The Brazilian Spa Clay not only smells 99% better than regular Nair it did not burn at all! No itching, no irritating. Which is comforting since it is being applied to the face and other sensitive areas. The mineral oil, Mango Butter and Acai Berry really help protect, moisturize, and calm the area you are removing hair from. 10 minutes and the dark hairs and fine hairs that make up what I like to call my Mommystache, (since it started to appear after I had my daughter) was completely gone. I used an Epielle Tissue to wipe it off and you could literally see all the little hairs. The moisturizer that comes with the trio is thick and really hydrates the skin. I had no redness or irritation and it has been about a week with no hair re-growth yet. I hope that Nair keeps this product around. It works and it save's the embarrassment of asking for the lip to be done when you go in for your normal eyebrow waxing at the salon.

So that brings me right into my next find. These amazing facial wipes I happen to pick up on a stroll thru Big Lot's in West Virginia. Epielle Green Tea Cleansing Tissues. Deep clean and refreshes the skin. Perfect for a day after the beach or pool. Made in Korea with green tea extract, Vitamin E acetate, Aloe Vera. Grapefruit extract, grapefruit seed extract, and camellia extract. They are hypoallergenic and oil free. Soft on skin and does not irritate sensitive skin. This come in handy to wipe makeup off at night, or to cleanse the face in the morning. I was always a little skeptical on cleansing facial tissues but these actually left my face feeling clean and moisturized without tearing at the skin. A Must Try and can be found on Amazon.

Lately my normal facial cleanser has not been cutting it. So I searched out for a new one. Ran across the brand Ambi. My face has not felt so balanced or this clear in a long time. I am hitting the 30's and I can tell my skin is changing. Ambi Even & Clear Exfoliating Wash with salicylic acid helps clear and prevent breakouts plus helps improve skin tone and texture. The acne medication is just enough to not irritate sensitive skin plus has the help of Soy extract and vitamins C and E. After a month using this product I had seen a dramatic improvement in my skin tone. It does look more even and feels so much smoother than ever before. In love with this particular product Bean Styled will definitely be diving more into the brand and trying other products.Give Ambi a Try today it is worth the little cost for such professional results. Also it does seem to be geared towards Black skincare but I say if it works go with it. An this facial product has changed my skin for the better. I can not boast any more about this product, you just Must Try!

So Retro is Officially in and we are loving the new Betsey Johnson line at Dillard's Department Store. Very Retro Glam, with a little added spunk. What else would you expect from the vivacious fashion guru Betsey Johnson. From Retro swim wear to Glitterati Heels with spikes. I instantly feel in love when I got to see the Fashion Icon in person at the local Dillard's Department Store.

She talked about her grand-kids, stopped to talk to either a huge fan or budding fashion designer and gave her autograph before sitting down with a line of fans that went thru out the whole entire store. You never know what to expect when you see a celebrity or if you will even like them afterwards. I am here to say that Betsey Johnson Fashion Designer seems to be down to earth and just as nice as she appears on her Runways. She is full of energy and can light up the room. Needless to say I enjoyed her then and afterwards even thou I did not have the time

to stand in the long line :( I still love her and her fashion. I am a mother and my daughter may not remember this, but at least I can tell her yes you got to see her too. A shareable moment to last a lifetime!

So I received a regular email from Sally Beauty An ran across this item called Curl Easy. As soon as I seen it I instantly thought it was for pin-up curls not a hair drying accessory. An although it does produce those natural looking beach waves pretty well, it takes a lot more effort than it looks.

But what this tool is great for is to recreate all kinds of different Retro Style Curl's. By Rolling the hair up just like you would in your curling Iron and then placing a firm pinch from the side. You can slide the curl right out with out disturbing it. Just have a bobbi pin ready to place in. You can see the different type of Pin-Up Curls we created with our models hair.

Let's talk about Victoria's Secrets. Right now is their semi-annual sale and that includes some of their skincare and makeup. While we were piling up on our #vshaul which we will show you on www.instagram.com/beanstyleddotcom when we get in our online order to go with our store Purchases. But while in store Bean Styled picked up VS Fresh Face Brightening Gel Cream- a very light formula that soaks right into skin. It is a Good primer and adds great highlight with the right amount of mica. It also has caffeine to de-puff eyes and wrinkles. Plus Shea butter, witch hazel, chamomile flower, ginkgo biloba and Aloe for moisture. We have used this product alone and under makeup. This product is worth the full price any day and really brightens the face. It gives off an even skintone and we can say has been a good addition to our skincare routine. And of course it's Super Model Approved ;)

Next is a brand we love and has been a minute since we have reviewed one of their beauty products. E.L.F. EyesLipsFace.com has new Jumbo Eyeshadow Sticks out we found in the Target. They are great for summer, and if applied over translucent powder will last all day. The color Bean Styled tried was "Little Miss Thing" which is a gorgeous Nude with gold tint. Great for a little shimmer on a nude natural look.

Finally is the Garnier Fructis Triple Nutrition line. Bean Styled tried the shampoo and conditioner. With all the southern summer sun and heat beating down, a recent color touch up, plus the pool, and putting the hair up in a bun my tresses needed some much needed TLC. In about 2 weeks I dramatically seen and felt improvement in the strength and smoothness. Enough to get me curious about the Garnier Miracle Dry Oil. I added this to my hair routine and within a week it seem like my hair is back to subtle hydrated hair I usually have in the cooler months. It is also great for the face. Simple apply to hands then face after you shower. Or spritz on a hot wet towel, ring out and apply to face for 5 minutes for a great quick moisturizing facial. This product is really oily so for face or hair makes sure you sprits the hands first so you do not go over board. But for the body, Bean Styled recommends spritzing after you get out of the shower, or after a long day at the beach or pool, and rub in with hands. It surprisingly soaks in fast and leaves no sticky feel. This product also leaves a great exotic smell, no need to apply perfume. The Most Loved was Cailyn Line Fix Eyeliner in Iron. The Gel liner is 24 hour water-resistant, No Smudge very smooth formula that last all day! Pool or Beach this liner is literally Summer Proof! What makes it even more amazing, is that it comes with it's own built in brush that is angled on each side yet rounded at top that is perfect in helping you create those perfect lines. Absolutely loved the color, and the product so much I have been using it everyday since I received it. It makes drawing dramatic or thin lines easy peazy! Next up is the Starlooks Lip Pencil in Tipsey. This is probably one of the smoothest lip pencils Bean Styled has ever tried. An honestly it is one beauty item I rarely use. The heat is on! Summer 2013 is in full swing and Bean Styled is having a Blast here in New Orleans. To keep you up to speed on the latest Summer Fashion trends here are the latest must have's. Plus an Explanation why we're seeing a White-Out! Finally, what to pick up now so you'll be ahead of the fashion crowd this fall!

Let's Talk about Shoes. This summer has brought about the cutest greek style shoes. But we are not talking gladiator straps up to your knees. No, please stop at the ankle. Plus other Strappy, big gem, rhinestones or stones, and even scarf detailed sandals it makes it very hard to chose just one yet an easy way to doll up any outfit while being able to show off your personal style.

For Summer and Fall make sure you Grab Up the Ankle Strap Kitten heel. Any color but we think with the fashion coming this fall. A Black pair could be used for years to come. Everything is getting a retro throwback. Which we adore. An the ankle strap heel fits right in. Which looks so classic in a kitten heel. It not only is classy, but adds a subtle sexiness with having the ankle strap. No matter what thickness find the shoes that best work for your feet and personal comfort.

Retro Vintage swimwear is becoming a bigger craze and Bean Styled could not be happier! High wasted and great prints make endless combinations. Hopefully this continues, but we will be sure to pick up a few extras at the end of season just in case next summer some other trend takes over. Forever21 has some great selections on retro prints and major department stores are now picking up on the trend as well. So they are becoming easier to find. When something works for you, Work it. No matter what the Trend may be at the moment. Also matching swimwear is always safe. But mixing and matching is so much fun. Not to mention you get to share your personality thru your swimwear. No one can tell ladies this summer to not wear white after labor day because it is everywhere. Bean styled does not believe in that rule and we love to see rebel fashionista's. From the cutest white sundresses, to sheer white tops, to longer lace and crochet tops which make sexy swimsuit cover ups.
~So where did all the white come from? Easy, the black and white trend we had in spring. Yet come summer I think we all remember how hot black becomes in the sum. So pick up your new summer business button up in white, or a cute summer dress. There are styles and fashion galore in white right now. So there will be endless amounts of black Fashion on sale at the end of summer which will be great to pick up classic pieces needed to fill your wardrobe. Such as dress pants, Cami's, blazers and more.

Sheer is still in and sexier than ever. Layer it over a crop top or bustier top. Which are a retro trend you see in every store right now. From multiple patterns, to lace, and many different lengths. Any woman should be able to find a crop top or bustier top to work for her body. Also with the sheer shirts we are seeing detailed bling and studs applied which is a great way to dress up the material and the whole outfit.

Rompers have been done the past couple years and slowly fading back out but this fall you will still see jumpsuits but with more glam. They have added collars, sleeves, patterns and details. Bean Styled can't wait to see the Fall Fashion Jump Suits!

As for accessories this summer the BIGGEST is the "ARM CANDY"! From stacked bracelets with watches added. It can Glam up any outfit day or night. Global Patterns and Colors

Floral dresses, and retro prints are so in for summer. That trend is going to carry thru the fall except we are going to see more of those global patterns. Geometric shapes, lines, and bold colors used. Metallic's were expected to big a big hit this summer but not to many picked up on the trend. But this fall we are going to see an Egyptian inspired flair in fashion. This is a little exciting for Bean Styled as we already spotted a cute bold blue, with metallic silver and gold zig zag pattern skirt we can't wait to get our hands on!

So here are a couple lines of jewelry that you should check out this summer and might just help you with that much needed arm candy and jewelry accessories for fall.

First off is the Wonderful find of Etsy in which there is a designer by the name of Luluka who creates one of a kind jewelry to "inspire the heart and soul". When I was a child my cousin dated a lovely woman from Turkey. Her name was Gulistan (I'm sure it's spelled wrong;) and she was beautiful and intelligent. When inquired about the eye she had swinging from her rear view mirror. She told us the small history and heritage. Ever since I have been searching for the perfect evil eye in jewelry. So after receiving the second GlamBag from Ipsy.com I am still excited and very happy with the products, sizes, and samples well worth over the $10 monthly subscription. Plus this month we received our Pretty in Pink bag to replace the one they sent n April because it was not up to par with Ipsy standards. It shows Ipsy is committed to excellence this is what has got Bean Styled to be a loyal Glam Bag Subscriber to Stay! So not only on top of the white Bag with cute pink trim, this months bag was an adorable turquoise and orange bag with zig zag pattern.

The first product we are going to discuss out of the bag is the Juice Beauty Reflecting Lip Gloss in Pink.
This is our favorite product out of the GlamBag. It is 100% certified organic! Brilliant shine, Amazing smell and a great pop of color! Does not run off lips and no tackiness. Amazing Ingredients such as acai and goji berries, natural minerals, sweet agave nectar, and sesame seed oil which is great for healing the lips. Our Next loved product from the bag is Mirabella

Lipstick which came in Bellarina. A light pink with a hint of coral and gold sparkle. Absolutely gorgeous sheer color that goes on so smooth it feels so luxurious! I am more of a lip gloss girl so the feel of this lipstick with slightly added color has made me love this lipstick. So much that it maybe time to try the glam red or darker color in Mirabella since the colors are created to work with any skin tone. Made in the USA which is great to know since Memorial Day is Monday. Mineral based, paraben free, and hydrates with a mango butter base.

Last but not least we received a full size Zoya nail polish which is also vegan free, and comes in over 300+ colors. We received the color Jacqueline which was an originally custom created color for runway fashion designer Peter Som. A classy creamy nude color makes nails look elegant. Have purchased my first one a year or so ago I now own over four and could not remember if I had bought a black one once so I own two (mommy brain moment;). So this past week was the naturally beautiful British bombshell Audrey Hepburn's birthday. She is best known for Breakfast at Tiffany's, but also how gorgeous an classy she presented herself. So if your looking to get Audrey s look here are the simple steps. The Products we used are Profusions Eye shadows Halo- the palette 3rd and 4th color in palette (WalGreens), Cover Girl's Eyeshadow in French Vanilla, bareMinerals Mineral Veil, NYC Waterproof Eye liner in 932 Dark Brown Liner, Cover Girl Flamed Out Mascara in Very Black Blaze, and Benefits Stay don't Stray!

1) Start with a good base. Either Concealer, or an all in one Concealer/Primer like Benefit's Stay don't Stray This has added vitamin's C & E for hydration and anti-aging! It is very light yet covers great. Can wear it alone for a great nude, and natural look. But it does it's job! Really does make shadow more vibrant and last ALL DAY! Had a sample that lasted a good month and ended up using it almost everyday. So worth buying a full size product and becoming an everyday beauty product.

2.)Start with a dark brown and cover the whole eyelid but stay under the brow bone.

3) Add a light shade of light brown/nude on the brow bone Blend with a rounded Eye Shadow Brush

4.) Finish with an Ivory/White at the Very Top under the brow.

5) Use a Dark Brown Eyeliner and line the Top Lid from one corner to another.

6.) Apply your translucent powder to face

6) Add Mascara Focus on the outer edges making them wing out. Use your Eye Lash Curler to help before applying mascara.

The Audrey Look is easy to do and simple. Yet makes any woman's eyes pop and is a great day look for work, school, lunch with the girlfriends or that special guy in your life! Letting more of your natural beauty out for the world to see.

She is a doll and absolute beauty genius. So why I did not try Ispy first was one of my lovely beauty mistakes. Ipsy Glam Bag: A mailbox excitement, so much anticipation I had awaiting this bright pink bubbly package! For $10 a month my first bag simply.... Rocked! The expectation I had was achieved. Great Products and sizing. Essentially we got 3 full size products
The Be A Bombshell Blush in Sweet Cheek. A nice bright pink that blends and builds. So if you looking for just a hint of color or a complete pop of the cheeks you can create with this product. Not to mention we just love the name! Next full size is the Mica Beauty Eyeshadow in Earth which is light pink/nude color that adds Ton's of sparkle! It is so light and feels amazing on the skin. It is pretty much 99% mica so thanks to the Ipsy website for the ideas to put it in clear nail polish, mascara, or lip gloss. If looking for a nude subtle day look this eyeshadow is great, but it also builds nicely. So to create a darker color just layer the eyeshadow holding your brush closer to the end so you have more control and pressure.

Finally we received a full size Sation Nail polish in Love at First Byte! This is such a cute pink/nude color. Not only great alone giving nails a very healthy look, but also as a base under darker nail colors. Finally we received Healthy Sexy Hair Soy Renewal with Argan Oil plus it has Sunflower oil. It helps speed up drying, nourishes and protects plus adds shine and really helps keep frizz away! I love how the product has natural additives and it did seem to help cut drying time down a few minutes. The oils not only help protect and nourish the argan oil is one the best known frizz fighters so just adding more power to the product, this is worth purchasing the full size.

Yet probably the greatest thing about Ipsy's Glam bag that stands out from the rest is the BAG. From the bright pink package that makes your face shine when you open your mailbox to the bag the products come in. Unlike other like similar companies this is not only economically resourceful, it is also reusable. I have plenty of little cosmetic bags myself (I'm sure your thinking the same) but not only do cosmetic bags come in handy in organizing your beauty vanity, bathroom cabinets, purse, babies diaper bag, I could go on especially being a mother I have found them very useful. They also make a great gift bag! Giving it to your girlfriends with a present for their birthday is much better than tissues and paper bags that usually get tossed in the trash.
