Sorry! Here’s the comic tutorial and a bigger picture of the beardfluff business cards.

It’s just practical thinking, that’s all. I don’t think it’s that strange really.

Zombie Gandhi doesn’t like to be quoted out of context. Especially not in an action movie with soldiers and big guns. I won’t give away too much of the plot by saying this, but there’s a scene where B.A. and Smith discuss violence as a means to an end. It’s about 2 seconds long and serves no purpose other then to give the viewer the illusion of character development. I thought it stuck out a little, but other than that it’s an entertaining summer action flick. Not quite the A-Team of old, but fun enough to watch without too much expectation. I found the tank scene especially interesting.

It’s too hot to work here, especially behind a heat-producing machine like a computer. But hey, at least I’m not running around on a soccer field accompanied by trompets from hell.

I’m referencing the movie The Day The Earth Stood Still, mixing it with current ecological disasters.
If you haven’t seen the original or the remake, here’s a bit of plot for you (SPOILERS):

In both the 1951 and the 2008 movie, an alien lands on earth with the message that we are a threath to ourselves as well as alien life, so we need to change or be destroyed.
In the original it was referencing the cold war and impending doom by nuclear weapons. In the remake however, it’s about what we’re doing to the planet. The earth is one of a small group of planets that can support complex life (as the alien puts it) so it needs to be saved. And hey, the planet doesn’t need us to survive so we’re expendable.

Now let me rant for a bit.
If I’m being a bit cynical about it, I’d say we’re past the point of no return. We have an ecological disaster every couple of years, the latest one being the BP oil spill obviously. Look at this shit: Pics from May and an overlay.
But what really gets on my nerves, is everyone playing the BP blame game. Oh sure, I’m as pissed as anybody that a big corporation gets away with blowing of security protocols and fascilitating this disaster. They’re arrogant, obnoxious and shortsighted. But it’s not the first time oil spills into the ocean (Exxon Valdez anyone?) yet we still let companies pump oil out of it and transport it by ships. Why? Because we’ve built a life around oil and it’s hard to find a way around that.
Now I’m not saying we should go cold turkey or that I have the answer to the problem. No, I’m just saying we’re the ones using the oil and we should take some responsibility for it. Dissing BP is fun and all but what are we doing about long-term sollutions?

Since I tend to draw from my absurd little life quite a bit, I thought I’d make a comic about screwing up this awesome milestone. As you can also see, I’m celebrating this with some of my favorite characters I’ve had on the comic.
Yes, only I would make it this far only to realize I’ve been numbering them wrong. That’s why I’m just gonna stop numbering comics in the titles altogether.

Not to say that we, as a species, are predisposed to making the wrong choices in life, but it sure looks like we don’t have any sense to think ahead. Nor to look back unfortunately.

I thought about making a Lost/Doctor Who cross-over comic last week, but it feels dated already. So here’s a guide on headaches. Needless to say, after that last one, nothing will hurt quite as much anymore.

This one took me ages to color. The original file is about 1.6 Gb and my laptop had got some problems rendering and saving it. But I managed to finish it without crashing Photoshop so I’m not complaining.

A more gloomy take on a classic platform game: get to work, catch coins, go home, stare at a screen all night and start all over the next day. Set on infinite repeat.
Luckily, you can fill that void in your life by … let’s say … buying some of these comics or beards? Remember, I’m here to help.
