Dancing is no Crime

2018-08-19T04:42:00.000-07:00

"Music is the weapon for the givers of life" said Fela Kuti

Daesh, Boko Haram, Taleban, Al-Qaeda and Ayatollahrule are death-cults, they are takers of life, and hate music, dance and celebration of life - they celebrate death and hate

We the lovers will continue to raise our voices, beat our drums, hit our keys, pump our bass, pick our strings - move to the rhythm and fly with the melody

We praise life - we are beats4change and #playforpeace, #playforlove, #playforhumanity - we #playfortheworld

lyrics

A childhood stolen by war, scattered in fear, new hope in foreign land
She used to think the worst word was war, now realize even worse is the silence

When in face of evil
Noone care to speak
When bombs are falling
We need to take a stand - Efrîne Berxwedana

Safe to discover her youth, assured of a place still there, her grandparents house
Crushed to despair by a turkish bomb to rubble, scattering her hope

When in face of evil
Noone care to speak
When bombs are falling
We need to take a stand - Efrîne Berxwedana

She used to think the worst word was war, now realize even worse is the silence
so come on now, speak up, let her again put flowers in her hair and dance among the olivetrees

When in face of evil
Noone care to speak
When bombs are falling
We need to take stand - Efrîne Berxwedana

Music is the weapon

2015-11-23T01:27:00.000-08:00

"Music is the weapon for the givers of life" said Fela Kuti
Thus it's no surprise that the terrorist from Daesh, attacked a concert. Daesh, Boko Haram, Taleban, Al-Qaeda are deathcults, they are takers of life, and hate music, dance and celebration of life - they celebrate death and hate

We the lovers will continue to raise our voices, beat our drums, hit our keys, pump our bass, pick our strings - move to the rythm and fly with the melody

RefugeesWelcome

2015-11-12T22:54:00.001-08:00

A call for urgent action on the global refugee crisis -- the largest since World War II. This crisis is not inevitable. It is time for immigration and refugee policies to change. It is time for us to call for an end to the wars and environmental and economic collapse that forces people to become refugees and migrants.

Beats4Change Caring Community Mgbidi

2013-07-25T00:34:00.002-07:00

Beats4Change is proud to present the plans for a caring community in Mgbidi, Imo State, Nigeria.

We have purchased a plot of land as foundation for our activities there.
So far you can help by donating a click on dshini.net:

Our highest endeavour will be to develop free human beings who are able of themselves to impart purpose and direction to their lives.

Beats4Change is a network of creative people founded by Soren Petersen a.k.a Nyertun - the networking activities are project-oriented, where people gather around contributing their creative skills to raise awareness and funding for a cause the project are focused upon.

For running projects check ACTION

The vision is based upon the following statement:

In our hearts we know right from wrong - and there's much we see around us in our environment and the relations between people, both socially, economically and politically, where we feel: "this is not the right way for human beings to live - this is not the way we're supposed to relate to each other and our surroundings"
As long as we just wait to see where the dynamics of history leads us, we're doomed to be victims of circumstance. This dynamic is often dictated by other concerns, we learn to think in social, economical and political "realities", forcing us to put aside what our hearts tell us and subsequently we stop listening and learn to adapt to these "realities" - powers that dictate our actions and interactions. We may protest against these realities - react, but to really change anything we must create the freedom and strength to turn the tide. When people start working together to build the lives and communities they want, then good things will happen.

A healthy social life is found only, when in the mirror of each soul the whole community finds its reflection, and when in the whole community the virtue of each one is living
