Soup – Mashed Chinese Spinach Soup with Diced Seafood and Egg White

Regular readers will know im not a veggie person but this is one of the most flavoursome Chinese style vegetable soup i ever tried. Looking at the bright green soup, i was thinking of tasting just a small teaspoon when it was served. However all the food reviewers at my table nodded their heads in approval and raved about it.

It was love at second sight! The thick soup features spinach juice in superior stock with egg white and fresh prawns and scallops, every spoon is so rich and flavoursome with natural sweetness of the ingredients. There is no hint of vegetable or fishy seafood smell.

Seared Cod Fish On Egg White with Truffle Sauce. Fresh firm chunks of cod fish melts in the mouth. The silky smooth egg white are steamed in 3 layers. The first layer is steamed with superior broth, second and third layer with fresh vegetable and carrot juice, all infused with the decadence Truffles Sauce. Culinary skills at its best !

Either Baked Rack of Lamb OR Braised Pork Belly with Thandi Cabernet Sauvignon Merlot 2010

Baked Rack of Lamb with Red Wine and Black Pepper Sauce. Marinated for hours with herbs and red wine, the lean rack of lamb is juicy and baked to perfection.

Old Hong Kong Legend Braised Pork Belly- Using special prime soya sauce and Chinese wine with herbs, the pork belly is perfectly stewed and baked to perfection.

The aromatic piece is so tender and melts in my mouth and goes perfectly well with the fresh fluffy hand made bun.

Hong Kong Vegetables with Rice. Inspired by Shanghainess cuisine, the rice is first cooked with superior stock and blended with vegetables and mushrooms to enhanced the natural sweetness and topped with fresh crunchy vegetables, roast pork in special sauce and diced mushrooms.

Dessert – Sweetened Red Bean Cream with Lotus Seeds and dried orange skin. The creamy smooth red bean with lotus seeds and aromatic dried orange skin offered a textured taste and scent.

We also tasted a new dessert that is not part of Superman Set Menu - the lovely coconut vanilla ice cream with avocado cream is an ultra decadence dessert.
