It was my fifth day in Turkey , I was planning to go back to my country but some people told me there are some more places to visit in Turkey , they give me idea about travelling to Xanthos , so right after 1 hours i took my bag pack and ran away to Xanthos.

I have been in Turkey since few months ago by the side I have gone to Edirne, Turkey at the same moment I have seen a very beautiful and historical Mosque in Turkey named Selimiye Mosque in the city of Edirne. One of the best, attractive and famous Architectural Legacies of Ottoman Empire. The mosque is about 500 - 600 years old.

It really Huge and biggest Mosque I have ever seen in my life. It's really Beautiful Inside and amazing with a attractions of arts. It has got a beautiful arts and architecture inside the mosque. The mosque was commissioned by Sultan Selim II. It was built by architect Sinan dates between 1568 to 1576 .There are four pillar, It is big and huge pillar so that it could support the encircling walls. The mosque is exactly square in shape. And it has got beautiful hand drawing on the woods. It borders, ceiling is made through hard process and coverage. All ceiling Border and adornments has got their own meaning with lots of surprise. Inside the mosque there is arch triangles , big peony is places on the center of the those triangles .The inner surface embellishments of mosque are ceramics on the level of ground floor windows as well the handwriting were used above them. Many of the parts are painted with blue color and it has got well-designed on miharb wall which create a visual focus in the mosque. The structure of mosque is attractive. There are two minarets with an each single gallery. Both side of the mosque room for the imam and muezzin. The windows around the courtyard are covered with title panels, which are the best examples of the period. The mosque has been made very carefully. Surrounding of the mosque is covered by trees with a beautiful pleasure seen.
